I love all the food 😋 accept the prawn crackers because the prawn crackers tasted weird and funny and hard so I give the food 4 out of 5. the delivery shocked me it was nearly half an hour early so I give delivery a 5 out of 5.

Never order from here, got extreme food poisoning. Been sick and on the toilet all night, worst Chinese I’ve ever ordered. Don’t waste your money and don’t feel how I feel.

I accidentally ordered from here on just eat, not an accident i will make again, food had absolutely no flavour !!!! Ended up throwing it in the bin

Fast and friendly service, tasty food!

Food was okay, however didn’t actually get the sauce with the (sweet and sour) chicken balls which sort of ruined the meal. Regardless the delivery time was brilliant.

Ordered based on reviews but left very disappointed. Chips were soggy, chow mein was tasteless and pale. Usually order from Bradwell mandarin or china garden but thought I’d try these guys out but won’t come back in a hurry. Honestly worst Chinese I’ve had locally unfortunately.

My new favourite Chinese food in Great Yarmouth. The ingredients and the preparation seem to be better than anywhere else in the area. And having the option of rice noodles for each of the chow mein dishes is great. I've ordered twice this weekend, as it was so tasty the first time. A bit more expensive than other places, but definitely worth it.

After spending £80 on food it was absolutely shocking. The food was cold and the there was no flavour at all. Surprising bearing in mind we ordered 50 minutes prior and still had to wait an hour in store This wasn’t the worst part after calling the restaurant we were told a manager would get back to us. We had to call 2 hours later at which point they said the manager would call back. The manager called back and said if we took the food back we would get a new lot however this was only offered 3 hours after collecting by which point the food was binned. The manager then called us liars as they know their food is brilliant and it’s because it is cold outside 😂 Would never go here again

I ordered a chicken chow-mein and chips for my mother at 16.20 sat 10/2/24 After over an hour’s wait it eventually came. The so called chicken chow mein was very very dry and just noodles with bits of chicken, Absolutely disgusting As for the chips, uneditable so hard and dry couldn’t eat. At a cost of £13.50 which included delivery it was a total waste of money and to wait over an hour is terrible SHALL NOT BE USING AGAIN NOR DO I RECOMMEND, it used to be good food at a fair price Now it’s Disgusting food at Extortionate Prices

Customer service not their thing, arrived at the collection time and it appeared the order was still on the machine and not handed to the kitchen - no apology for the long wait

Larger portions than expected, good quality and flavour

Definitely the worst we e had from here. Noodles were very greasy crispy chicken was over reheated it was hard and inedible chips like cardboard, not sure what has happened to ight but has put us off for a while

heard good things about this place so thought we'd try it and were unfortunately disappointed. Everything from the fryer was soooo overdone it was inedible, had to bin the prawn balls and the salt and pepper prawns which I was very sad about! for the prices I expected the best in the area but honestly one of the worst Chinese's I've ever had. Also the prawn toast came as one full square and not cut up - not an issue really but seemed odd.

Inedible. Food had to go in the bin. Chicken pink in the middle and pork was horrible! Refund wanted.

Ordered from here the other day, it definitely not Chinese, the seaweed is all soft , the salt and Pepper prawns over cooked no flavour. The rice is oily and curry sauce is not good and the crackers are to fishy tasting. Really disappointed eating here I'm use to proper Chinese. If you want a good Chinese that tastes like Chinese food avoid this place

My daughter worked here and on her 3rd trial shift she was shouted at and laughed at for not knowing the name of a curry absolutely disgusting treatment for a 16year old girl on minimum wage.

Always excellent service. Tonight we tried the Honey Chilli Chicken. It was OK, but thought it lacked a fair bit of flavour and was a bit shy on the sauce. One of the other Chinese Restaurants in Gorleston offer this and it is much tastier, flavourful, with a really nice hint of Chilli in a thicker sauce. So would I try this again?...No..I wouldn't, unless they improved the recipe. Sorry.

Placed order at 6:55 and delivery time was stated between 8:00 and 8:20. At 8:20 we called the restaurant to find out where our order was. They said its not in the kitchen so its out for delivery. They said it shouldnt be too long. Waited until 9:05 and called the restaurant again, asking where the order is, they asked our address and said oh sorry we didnt see this order we will make it now. We explained this wasnt acceptable or good enough seeing as we called 40 minutes ago when our order should have already been delivered. On delivery most of the food was cold, damaged boxes, all food was so greasy and inedible. We are a regular customer of good luck chinese so are extremely disappointed with the service and the quality of the food. Will not be returning and would like a refund. Thank you

Awful. Chicken balls rock hard inside and soggy outside, chewy cold chow mein, the whole meal was just terrible. Phoned to complain with no sympathy or offer to change or refund. Just hoping we aren’t sick 🤢. Disappointing as it was a lot of money to waste. Wouldn’t use again.

Owner said I was abusive towards them and it cost me my job. These people are liers and cheats who used my job to not have to pay there bills for the sub par food they serve. Kitchen is dirty food kept in a damp dark back room urinating in the small garden they have less than a meter from where the food is prepared. Avoid avoid avoid.

Food quality has changed, not as nice as usual. Probably won't be ordering again. Delivery was early but wasn't a problem.

Paid 17 pound for basically a box of salt chips. A couple of dry rips and 2 chicken balls. Snack box was terrible. So salty and inedible. Went in the bin. Won't order again from here.

I am well impressed with this Chinese take out. I’m a new customer and decided to go for this one for the 5 star hygiene rating which other Chinese takeouts in my area don’t have. It was piping hot when it arrived, fresh and full of flavour. I’m the laziest person ever when it comes to writing reviews but I thought this was worth sharing. Also had cute fortune cookies. The beef curry taste is dread full would not recommend the only reason I ordered from here was because happy view in g Yarmouth was closed for some reason never again I’ll wait till they open again

Curry tasted like cleaning chemicals. The fried rice was also stuck together in a clump. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Ordered for collection at half 6 quarter to 8 we were still waiting. Finally got our order checked it and it was wrong with food missing. Got home and food qas barely even luke warm and had to heat up in microwave. Will be going else where from now on as it has totally gone down hill.

The Chinese roast duck with chips and BBQ sauce that I ordered was actually pork instead of duck.

Food has really gone downhill. Egg fried rice was so overcooked that it was stodgy like rice pudding. Other items tasted as though they had been refried and just very disappointing. Only positive was that everything was so hot, there was no change of being poorly

Absolutely disgusting greasy food, my husband's pancake roll was soaked in grease and the chicken balls were really soggy and we were both left feeling sick all night and in fact I was sick in the morning and both still felt sick all the next day, I wouldn't ever recommend them to anyone and would discourage anyone who asks, we hwve ordered from the take away for years but never again, absolutely disgusting greasy gross food 🤮 for two people it cost £33.80 so it's not cheap and to then be so revolting is very frustrating and unacceptable. Very unhappy

Food was completely mixed up and when we phoned to explain this. They said it was right, when my duck and mushroom was beef and mushroom with veg wit no flavour at all and the koon po beef came as koon po duck.

Excellent food as always and the delivery driver was really friendly.

This not just Good Luck , This is all The chinese Resturants, They Seem to think threatening us on a time limit, will make us order. They have no Idea how English people think. You threaten us we just wont bother to order. Simples. I Used to order chinese 3 times a week, Now I dont bother at all. Because I feel like im being threatened, And put under pressure to order, I would Rather do without.

I've had several orders from here in the past but tonight the food was disgusting! The chips were horrible, the prawns were definitely off and the curry sauce tasted of mould. I did email the restaurant but no reply. Won't be ordering again.

Great food Shame it took ages

Sadly the food tasted old (chicken was almost fluorescent yellow) and the chips were not the usual chips I have from here. Was quite disappointed as have been coming here for quite a long time now and they have mostly been really good. My wife and I ate less than half of the food. To add to this, the delivery driver knocked my plant pot over pushing it about 2 metres up the driveway putting stones everywhere. Looks like he picked the plant pot up and just left. Would have expected a apology. I did call the restaurant to advise them but they didnt seem bothered.

Great place to get food lovely customer service aswell as their lemon chicken was AMAZING sadly I'm poor só i most likely won't be going again it's not even expensive I'm just broke would high recommend!

Couldn't get through to the restaurant to check when the order would arrive as it was constantly engaged, so just had to wait for dinner to turn up. Finally turned up at 8.05pm!! By this point all of the food was cold!

Over an hour late and cold food! Bloke couldn't find our place and I had to go find him!

Absolutely ridiculous. Last time I will be ordering form Good Luck. I ordered soon they opened so it wouldn’t be that many orders and yet 2h to deliver and when I rang they left me on the phone waiting for almost 7minutes while checking with kitchen about my food and I had to hang up and now have been trying for the last 20min ring back and keeps constantly busy. That is not a way to run a Busniss.

Food was warm/slightly cold when we received it and an item was missing from the order

Tried calling the restaurant to see where our food was, 38 times, but no answer. In the end we went and picked it up ourselves. Just need to see how I claim my delivery charge back

Lovely as always but unfortunately they gave me a second sweet and sour sauce instead of the BBQ I ordered but will always continue to use them for our Chinese!

After waiting 1.5hrs for delivery 2hrs from being ordered, I called to chase up. Girl who answered the phone was rudest person I’ve ever had to deal with delivering customer service. Before speaking I was told “you’ll have to wait I’m putting you on hold” then when I explain what I’m calling about, I’m told “it’s out for delivery and will be there shortly”. No apology, nothing. I wait for another 20 minutes before calling again and she tells me the drivers car broke down but he’s on his way, again no apology. I state that it’s going to be cold and ask what’s going to be done about that. I’m told “nothing, it’s not my fault your food is going to be cold!” I wait a further 20 minutes and call back saying I just want a refund, she says “fine” and hangs up on me. Still no refund. Absolutely diabolical experience. Stay well clear. The reviews don’t quite capture the severity of a shambles this business is

Just went afternoon and asked if I can have egg fried rice with an extra egg and the girl pulled very weird face to me and said we only do egg fried rice. But the service put me off from the girl at the front if you can't do it just say you can't no need to give weird expressions.
