We had takeaway from javitri this evening and it was disappointing compared to last time. The dishes were watery and bland, and the tandoori mixed grill was tiny compared to when we ordered a month ago. We will probably not order from here again.

Very lovely indian, food was tasty and full of flavour whilst being reasonably priced. The staff are very accomodating and friendly too. Very clean and good hygiene.

The quality of this food is simply the best. I had the tandoori king prawns, chicken tikka pathia, keema rice & keema&garlic naan. The taste is absolutely exquisite. Wow. One of the nicest& tastiest Indian / Bengali restaurants ever. You will not be disappointed at all, such good value for money and the portion sizes are perfect. I cannot wait to come back n try even more of the menu, my new favourite spot! Thank you sooo much to all of the chefs & my server Faze

Very very bad experience...There is no salt in the curries even the curries have no taste...if you ordered for spicy they give you 1 green chili for spicy..I tasted many places in uxbridge and Hounslow but its very bad experience..

We love going the this restaurant. The food is always delicious, the staff very friendly and it's good value for money.

Welcoming, friendly and efficient service and everyone seemed happy and cheerful. The food was excellent and we wished our appetites could have coped with more dishes, but the helpings were very generous. The mango pickle with the crisp papadums was superb and we did manage a second one. We shared the starter of 3 lamb chops. We enjoyed having dishes we had not seen before: Chicken Sali was fragrant and quite mild whereas the Lamb Tetal Behar was as hot as advertised and full of chilli flavours. I needed the yoghurt as a side dish, to soften the blow, but it was really delicious. It was all very reasonably priced and they packed up what we hadn't eaten to take home. We'll certainly go again when we are in Uxbridge.

Great food, and excellent atmosphere, the service was good when we finally received it, we were sat for 45 minutes before even our drink order was taken, and it was another 20 minutes before our food order was taken, when our waiter arrived he was excellent and I wish I'd gotten his name so I could give him commendations for his service, but overall the restaurant as a whole gave poor service as we were waiting over an hour to be served and almost 1.5 hours to get our food

Ordered Tandoori chicken from here and the taste was average. The chicken didn't appear to be fresh and tasted bit odd.

Real shame, don’t waste your money here. So tried a new place, wish I didn’t, mixed starter well over priced for what you get! Mains were all watery and tasteless, I suppose you have to give it a go, but never ever again, be warned

First time to eat out in London in 24 years and it was exceptional on Saturday 14th Oct £55. We went back on the following Wednesday £66. as I was going home the next day and couldnt wait to get the food. I have dined here twice and taken out once. The first time I ate in and it was the best Indian I'd ever had. Weekend(Sunday) The 2nd time I also ate in and it was a completely different experience. It had no flavour at all. The most incredibly bland sauce. I've made better at home. Midweek(Wednesday) Clearly the owner cooks during the week and the special chef comes in at some point during the weekend. I noted that while dining in I didn't see a single delivery driver waiting for the likes of JustEat and Deliveroo. Oh yes and a waiter that brought us a coffee meant for the other table when there were only 2 small tables active in the restaurant, that was hilarious. I ordered a takeout tonight. It wasn't terrible. The sauce had flavour but the Chicken Bhuna I had...well the chicken was bone dry, tough and chewy. 6/10 for tonight's meal(being generous) Overall I'd avoid this place. Far too inconsistent, more off than on and if you're eating in rather extortionate. Was charged 60 for 2 people the other night.

The food was good, the service was ok, but my boyfriend & I got food infection for almost 4 days straight after eating there. We took different meals but we've both be sick unfortunately, so it refrains us to go back.

Went for unannounced meal for 2 Wed 30 Dec. Arrived 6.20 and were seated nicely. Two couples were already being served at two different tables. A waiteress took our drinks order, a glass house red and a small bottle of cobra. A waiter brought these quite quickly. Later another waiter took our starter order. We were asked if we wanted poppadoms. We said we would like to order the tandoori mixed grill. The menu stated it came with one plain naan, so we looked forward to that as we like some naan bread with starters. The mixed grill arrived in good time sizzling on a bed of onions. A little too well heated hot plate as most of the onions had got burnt. However the waiter asked if we would like the naan now or with the main course. This was wrong as we now had to wait a further 4 minutes before the naan arrived when it clearly stated the naan is part of the mixed grill. The mixed grill was a bit of poor show, one sheek kebab with little flavour, one piece of lamb tikka, 2 pieces chicken tikka, one full side of marinated chicken breast. Overall it was just okay. We shared the starter. We had to obtain a waiters attention after we had finished the starter to order the main course, a karhi bhindi and a karhi chicken (with peppers and onions and tomatoes) and 2 garlic naans. We also clearly asked for two glasses of tap water no ice in both. The food arrived in good time. No water though. So we asked again. One glass of water with ice was brought. We corrected the waitress and she brought 2 glasses of water with no ice. The karhi bindi was excellent and full of flavour. The karhi chicken was just sauce, chuncks of onions and even chunkier chicken pieces, which could have been cut into smaller piecea and there was no sign of tomatoes or peppers (I presume these must have been blended intonthe sauce. Taste was good, and the food was served hot. Spice was just right for what we ordered. Another glass of wine was ordered and arrived. The bill was good, with an (discretional 10% already applied).we settled with £50. We were offered complimentary baileys, and had a chat with the manager on duty. Overall some improvements could make this a desirable restaurant.

Best Indian I have ever had ! Really enjoyed the dinner, I was happy they have accommodate to my tastes as I can’t handle very hot spicy 🌶️ dishes. Lamb was cooked perfectly, looking forward to come again !

I have been going to this restaurant for the past 2 years and I absolutely love it. I genuinely cannot see why this restaurant has so many negative/not so positive reviews as I have never had a bad experience. The food here is always 10/10. The staff are always efficient and so friendly. This is honestly my favourite restaurant, I will definitely be a returning customer for the foreseeable future!

I have known the guys at this restaurant for a very long time...more year's than I would like to own up to! Every time I have been for a meal here, it has been absolutely perfect! On my recent visit, I took friends who have never been before, and Shorif and the staff looked after us so very well. The food was amazing, and Shorif took a real interest in what everybody wanted for food, even suggested new and exciting dishes, but kept them very similar to our favourites! We had a fantastic evening, and I know that I will return, of course, but I think that Javitri definitely has some new clients too! We will be back soon. Thankyou.

Noticeable that portion sizes have reduced (shrinkflation) but taste and quality of ingredients remain excellent. Great selection of interesting dishes on the menu and no leakage from any of the boxes which makes unpacking the meal more pleasant. Good offer for vegetarians without compromising meat lovers' choice.

It is difficult to find Indian restaurants like those before the pandemic. Now most are vegetarians. If you like spicy, this is your place. I liked that the chicken tikka could have the masala sauce on the side, instead of swimming. A person from the room staff, upon hearing us speaking in Spanish, approached and began to talk to us and assist us. He had lived 20 years in Madrid.

If you want to have a nice evening with family, this is the best place. Food is very nice and the service is excellent, very Friendly staff and very accommodating. Must visit here. 5*****

The staff in this restaurant were professional and friendly. They checked our order, then asked if all was ok. It was: skillfully cooked and tasty with oriental spices but not burning.

Waiters were nice and polite but that's about all that was good. Had to wait 45 min for our food! And had to ask many times whats happening only to be told ' It's Coming '. Had to ask 3 times for the same drink. The restaurant was not that busy but they used this excuse. When food finally came, it was very bland and lacked any taste. I consider myself as a somewhat Indian food expert as its my favourite food and I've tried many hundreds of restaurants. I think I'll stay eating at my local - Grapes Tandoori in Hayes. Will not be going back to this place.

My friends and I visited this restaurant on the back of some of the reviews, how wrong we were. The restaurant is clean, tidy with white tablecloths and linen napkins. The bar is well stocked and has numerous beers on offer. The staff are welcoming and helpful. This is where the good points end. The food is anything but authentic and is prepared for an english palate. The mango chutney that came with the popadoms was best described as sweet brown washing up water. The main courses were quite bland and the rice was obviously precooked and reheated. A gentleman on an adjoining table had ordered a king prawn dish (korai?) accompanied by naan. The dish came in an iron bowl on a wood block and was filled with oceans of sauce and soft onions. He commented this is a HUNT THE PRAWN dish as there were only 3 prawns in oceans of sauce in the dish. He was less that impressed as was his wife. The management need to up their game and the chefs need to vastly improve their culinary skills. This reflects the poor standard of indian food available in Uxbridge, when you consider the good quality food available in Sputhall and Harefield a short journey away. Would I return? NO Would I recommend this restaurant? NO This is why I have not seen any asian or indian people using this establishment.

I've been a few times and the last time killed it for me, they don't have high chairs so there was 3 or 4 tables with babies on laps how are you ment to enjoy your meal, The chicken was so dry and chewy I gave up eating it and didn't give my little one anymore of it naan tasted doughy prawn puri was watery.

Food was bland for Indian food, especially the biryani but otherwise service was good and atmosphere could of been more lively. Set up was also good.

2 watery mains, which Ive never experienced anywhere else with these dishes. Dissapointing. Service is good, but you pay for that. Left feeling ripped off even with the complimentary drinks offer. Wont go back.

My wife and I have been here several times now and have never been disappointed. Service is first class from the welcome till the end of the meal. Food is always hot, and totally delicious. If you want a particular dish they will accommodate. If you want more or less spice on a dish, no problem. Varied menu with all the usual choices and a few others. We really like the Mushroom Rice. Seating is warm and comfortable and clean toilets. Nice atmosphere and vibe about the place. All in all totally recommend.

They're good if you go in to eat but terrible if you want a delivery, spent around 20 mins on and off the phone and eventually talked us out of it, they Purely didn't want deliver and we are well with in their 3 mile radius stated on their menu they posted in my letter box. Don't send out menu's if your not prepared to do what you say.

Always good, this is by far the best Indian restaurant in Uxbridge, we eat in or get a delivery and after 4 years we have never once had a problem with our food or the service. Great and very good price for London (surroundings). Good atmosphere and good treatment.

Pros: Fantastic food, generous portion sizes, and not too expensive. Vegan options, and a well stocked bar. Cons: We had to wait 10 minutes after being seated to be given a menu, and we asked for the bill 3 times before getting up ourselves to pay at the bar.

Called this evening for a delivery (less than 1 mile away). Was told I had to order a £20.00 minimum. I'm 1 person not a famine. Years of good will and custom out the window for only a few pence. Cancelled my order and went elsewhere.

Usually perfect but tonight the texture of some of the chicken wasn’t right. Everything else was fine.

Ordered for collection. Ordered lamb korma and diet cola and garlic naan bread. Food tasted great but I didn't realise that the lamb korma didn't come with rice. My own fault. Lamb was fab, sauce was good. Was all very warm and packaged well. See images. My only criticism was the garlic naan bread. It was pretty burnt and there was no garlic on it as. I saw from other people's reviews. Price was great i paid £13 for my whole order so loved the price. I wouldn't order for collection again, for a better experience I would visit inside the restaurant which appeared to have a great vibe, clean, tidy and friendly staff, and beautiful interior design. I Would order again but in restaurant rather than collection or delivery. As. I walked there due to the short distance I can't comment on parking. I didn't see much but again not something I was looking for. Hope my review is helpful.

Have just moved into the area and got take out from these guys. It was epic, starters that were full of flavour and crisp / light. The quality of the cooking and flavors of the curry was amazing and my tandoori mixed grill was cooked perfectly. They made a small mistake with the order which they rectified politely and quickly dispite it being a busy Saturday night. Check them out!!!!

Decent portion size. bhindi bhaji was very oily. The veg curry that came with the biriyani was excellent, the biriyani not so much.

The food was very nice and authentic. Especially chefs signature dishes. I have been here several times before in smaller and bigger groups and the staff is always dedicated and friendly. Yesterday I ordered Malahari Lamb which was really tasty😊

Best place to eat in Uxbridge by far. I cannot recommend this place enough. There simply is no where else as good as Javitri for miles around

I so wanted to like this place but was disappointed. I started with a bottle of Cobra it was perfect. The poppadoms arrived with the accompaniments. Poppadoms were stale, the mango chutney was actually more a smooth jam no chunks of chutney. The raita was unpleasant, a first for me; the lime pickle wasok and the onion salad whilst being 90% onion was OK. I ordered a Keem a nan and whist it had all the required ingredients the lamb was nice but the nan was cooked on one side but not on the other. I also had a cauliflower Bhaji which was advertised as dry cooked but for some reason was soggy and in a sauce. Finally I had the chef's speciality Chicken jalfrezi, its probably the worst jalfrezi I've had it was hot without being flavoursome. These guys need to pop down to Southall to learn their trade. Themost disappointing curry I can remember having. I got a free brandy included in the price. But it did not make up for my disappointment

Food was excellent, but what really made thia restaurant so special was the head waiter who took the time to discuss the food options and how he could adjust recipes to add extra ingredients to suit the customers tastes. Would highly recommend. Thank you.

I went with family today, probably the worst tasting food I've ever had in terms of Indian/Bangladeshi. I myself am Bangladeshi and I cook and my family has been in the restaurant industry. The food was bland, needed seasoning and was watered down. It wasn't fresh. That isnt what Biriyani should taste like. Ordered a king prawn puri with what looked like half a prawn. Butter chicken which was watered down, some special chicken dish that was so conguled with spice it become sticky or maybe the sauce was just too pld. Some potato chops which was drenched in oil i had to press down with a napkin to take it out. Fortunately I'm not from the area but the worst I've ever tasted. A chef needed and definitely required if the business needs to stay open. Disappointed as I was expecting a higher standard of food to match the price. Just sharing my honest view and opinion.

Have been informed by my husband that men's toilets are in a terrible state. I will not use the ladies in case it is the same. This is a shame, as this used to be our favourite Indian restaurant . I now understand why this place is only one third full. Used to be 100% full on Saturday nights.

The quality of the food was terrible. This is really unfortunate as we have eaten in the restaurant many times. The food sent out for delivery is very below standard in comparison to eating in. The butter chicken sauce was like our oil and the rice was incorrect. Nobody finished their meal which is a real shame
