Absolutely bang on! The best takeaway! Never disappoints, quality, superb!

Ordered basic tonight as not sure what the quality would be like. I can honestly say we enjoyed what we had. Singapore fried rice 100% curry sauce 60% ( more like a spicey sweet n sour) but was nice. Salt n pepper chips 60% ( not quite onions,chillies etc) but were crisp.n tasty. Overall for a Chinese takeaway 70%, will not hesitate to order again as all Chinese are different and are never consistent. Try it!

Worst place I have ever ordered from called at 18:58, time is now 20:51 and I have just received my order, the chicken chowmain had no taste, over cooked and very watery. The salt and pepper chips are decent and everything else up to standards won't be ordering from here again

Not great, salt and pepper chips were just exactly same as chips with abit of onion thrown on top, which were both very poor. Prawn toast and pork balls were ok. Rice and chicken were ok. All in all bang average at best.

Husband ordered a starter for 2 consisted of, prawn toast, spring rolls, chicken wings....The prawn toast was thick and tough almost like belly pork. Soaked in fat. Spring rolls well iv never seen anything like these before. Was as thick as a sausage roll woth what looked like slugs inside!!!! TERRIBLE!!...All the lot went in the bin

Worst salt and pepper chicken I have never had was like it wasn’t fresh very dry and chewy like rubber I own a catering business and I know this was not freshly cooked and was walmed up

Nice food and the prices are decent. I dropped to 4 stars and not 5 due to the fact they don't take card payments, just cash or bank transfer. I only had my switch card on me at the time!

Just orderd a salt & pepper box dry as anything the beef chicken chips tasted like it was all from the night before not be ordering from there ever again

Not used Jasmine House for a while, but today we felt like a Chinese. Food was superb, staff friendly, ordered over phone and when I arrived it was ready. Can't ask for more. Will definitely be going again.

Shocking ordered 45 mins before my bus arrived when I got there it was wait only be 5 mins told them about the time of the bus back to Barnsley He the chap who took the orders just laughed Missed my bus £12 taxi fare Keep away shocking take away

The worst chinese weve ordered, prawn crackers old and hard, spring rolls 90% bean sprouts, sharing mix starter with prawn toast as thick as a brick, ribs you couldnt chew, beef in black bean, special chow mein, special fried rice, extra ribs! it all tasted the same !! Sauces nasty tang !! Maybe you need to have been to the pub before spending money here! Only nice thing I can say is the chips were nice ! Never again !!

Like a previous revue we ordered duck and got pork balls they were soggy and chewy through them in the bin

Dreadful! Ordered sweet and sour chicken balls and fried rice, the chicken was tough and stringy and the batter thick and soggy. The sauce was just bright red gloop. Will not going again.

Awful food. Got my order wrong, should have been duck, they sent pork which was hard and chewy. Totally unedible. The whole order was horrid. They would only refund £12.50.

Friendly service and lovely Chinese cuisine

Food is really nice,I love it. I order regularly at least once a week. Usually ordering for collection cos it only takes 10 minutes and I live literally around the corner. If I want to deliver, it takes really long 40-60 minutes. I would give 5 stars ✨ if they improve delivery time. But the main problem is they only accept cash. That’s really annoying. If they start to accept card payments I’ll give 5 stars ⭐️

Just popped in off the street to order. Excellent friendly happy service. Didn't wait long at all. Recommend the prawn toast and house special chow mein. Superb.

Brilliant food excellent from phone call to delivery. So tasty food had some last week while on holiday with some friends in Blackpool not half as good as tonight's. Thanks for good food as usual.

Cold taste terrible never going again

We've been eating takeaway from Jasmine House for ten years or more. We ordered again tonight and they just keep excelling. Tonight's meal was as good as any restaurant could provide. It was by far the best meal they have ever provided us with. Pleasant friendly staff from the phone call to the delivery, and tremendous value. The food was hot, and extremely tasty. If there must be any criticism, it would be that they provide far too much food. But at this quality, is that really a criticism? Leftovers!

Food is amazing ..... the girls who’s working on the front desk is incredibly rude on the past 3 visits she has been on her phone constantly throughout the interactions I’ve had with her on my last visit I was trying to get her attention for at least 10 minutes before getting an answer as she was facing the opposite direction “cleaning” and with headphones in making no interaction with myself and the people walking into the shop at the time would be 5* if it wasn’t for her but she really really ruins my experience

All I can say is don’t bother, save your money and go some where else. Got my food, it smelt disgusting, tasted disgusting and went straight in the bin

We rang at 18:25 to put our order in and since 19:40 till 20:06 we have been trying to ring them to see where our order is. It turns out at 20 o'clock They are only just cooking it . Horrendous we wont be ordering from there again and wouldn't suggest it. Absolute greed I wouldn't have even put 1 star on if that was an option.

The food was very disappointing from this chinese takeaway. Lacking flavour and some of the ingredients seemed suspicious, the prawns were tiny. Salt and pepper chicken wings were ok but we've had better. We will not use this chinese takeaway again!

Food is always spot on everytime and quite quick too, orders done quickly even when they are busy and they do get really busy.

Ordered while working, young girl who served me was ignorant as hell, ended up spending 4 days on the toilet after the curry, won't be going again.

My favourite Chinese in Chapeltown.

We've been eating there for years probably pushing 20 years and very very rarely are we ever dissatisfied with the service and food. Much praise to the staff there so polite and calm in all situations and very loyal to us existing customers.

First time I’d used them, and I was impressed with the delivery time, and more importantly the quality of the food. First Chinese restaurant I’ve used in years that had my favourite beef and tomatoes on the menu and I wasn’t disappointed. Also, the ribs, rice, king prawn and duck dishes I ordered were appreciated by my partner and her sister. Will definitely use them again!

Best Chinese takeaway in chapeltown. Recommend the deep fried shredded chicken in Peking sauce.

Worst Chinese food ever!! £20.70 for 2 salt n pepper chicken rice chips noodles n two sauces. Not impressed the meal turned up n the sweet and sour sauce is disgusting, curry sauce is like water and prawn crackers taste like they are a week old!!! Worst £20 we have ever spent.

It was OK. The beef was a bit bland and the prawns tasted old. All other items were good.

There worst Chinese I've ever ordered from. So bad I got my money back. The crispy dick was not crispy l, it looked like pork!!! They're opinion was that they used a different type of duck. The spring rolls was dripping in grease! The spate ribs well they was dry with NO meat on them! Do not order from this place it was Thee worst Chinese ive ever been Too!!

Had my fist take away from here last night. Really night. not too salty, like some others i've had. Will have to try something else from the menu next time.
