Jane's Pantry in Gloucester

Unbelievably slow service/staff. I went in for cookie just before lunch on a Thursday or Friday and they were preparing about 9 or 10 sandwiches for people that weren’t even there in the shop waiting! I asked if I could just get the cookie and the staff member was visibly annoyed and I could tell then deliberately started moving extremely more slowly than before. Very childish and frustrating experience.

Made a delivery here, the place smells wonderful.

I bought a pecan treacle muffin and it was one of the yummiest things I've eaten! Plus, really friendly service - what's not to recommend

Brown bread is gorgeous 3.15 but worth it 👌

There is no pricing anywhere in store. This is not an accident everything is really expensive and you probably wouldn't go if they were honest. £9 for a small roll and a cheese and onion pasty. No thanks

Please avoid their coffee like a plague. Ive paid £3.40 for the worse cafe mocha I've ever had in my life, so bad that i had to throw in the drain. I had three sips to give a chance but it was tasteless. After that I went to Nero and paid &£3.10 where I had a proper cafe mocha with real taste of coffee. If you want to charge £3.40 for a coffee, whatever coffee is, you have to sell quality coffee and not what they sell it. Whatever it is. Ewwww

Microaggression and racism. Went here with my little sister yesterday. Two women were working, one really old and the other one, a little older than middle aged. Both were completely sour faced, but I just guessed they’d been working all day and are tired. After they finished serving the man in front, the middle aged woman turned around and started cleaning and the old one completely ignored us and began serving the man behind us. I thought, perhaps, she’s old and didn’t see us so I thought nothing of it. When she finished with him, she didn’t acknowledge me whatsoever so I spoke up and ordered. Then the middle aged one finished with her ‘cleaning’ and started serving the customers just behind me. In the middle of packing my order, a few men walked in and the old woman asked the ones behind us if he had arrived before us and whether we cut in front??? The man was lovely and politely said no they were here before. Normally, I wouldn’t have felt singled out but considering me and my sister were the only visible Muslims in the shop, I definitely felt targeted. To be honest, I’d rather they said they didn’t want to serve us, than be treated like third class citizens.

Dont touch the doorstep sausage sandwich. £4.10, the bread is spot on but the sausages are the rankest I have ever ate.

Sandwiches made with delicious fresh bread, and good cake. That makes it a very decent bakery in my eyes.

Lovely friendly staff always have a smile and a little chat with whoever's working when i go in. Gorgeous cakes&cream cakes,breads,hot savouries and rolls,baguettes&salads. A bit pricey but its worth every penny :)

We got a cake for our mum's 65th. I have to say it was very.............. Good. We were all very happy.... It was great... Thanks very much...

Walked out after being spoken to in an appalling way. (Not what was said but the way it way said). There are some staff in this shop who are lovely but 2 are sour faced and not friendly at all. Didn't even bother ordering.
