Great food, excellent value, friendly and helpful owner and staff. Best little cafe in Lincoln. Hidden Gem. Quality of ingredients superb and far better than you’d get for a much higher price elsewhere

I'm not one to complain and firstly I want to say that the staff are lovelyy, it's a lovely little cafe and really fair prices. But if you're a vegetarian then I'd avoid this place, I ordered a vegetarian breakfast wrap (I've been vegetarian for health reasons for 11 years) and it had pieces of burnt crisped bacon in the wrap. The pieces were pink, smelt like bacon.. Tasted like bacon 😔 and several other people in my office also agreed it was bacon. The gentleman that owns the cafe tried to tell me it was burnt pieces of egg, it absolutely was not. He gave me a refund immediately and apologised but he told me that they use the SAME cooking area for the vegetarian food as they do to cook the meat products. He said they 'try' and keep them separate but sometimes inevitably they do share the same area.. I'm mortified, it shouldn't be classed and vegetarian if its fried in the same area/oil where meat products are cooking/spitting with the heat and it should be clearly stated on the menu that this area is shared. I've never, ever given a 1* before, but this is appalling and I wish I could have known this before ordering. If you eat meat however, I've been told by my colleagues that this is a great place to eat.

A great find, attached to Oak House Business Centre. Had a quick breakfast before a meeting in the area - a BIG bacon and sausage butty and an americano for £5. Great value as the bacon and sausage were clearly proper butcher’s sourced - bacon was thick cut and really tasty, and the sausages were meaty and herby, and clearly not the cheap and nasty stuff you get in other places. Good coffee and friendly welcome, and the cakes looked great too - recommended.

We used Jamie B's whilst filming a popular day time TV programme in Lincoln. Jamie provided a great variety of cold buffet food for our lunch, catering for both vegetarians and meat eaters. From tasty chicken tikka sandwiches, falafel wraps to delicious banana and chocolate load cake, everyone was spoiled. The food was delivered to our location too which made it so much easier for the busy team. I would highly recommend!

However if your not feeling brave you won't be dissapointed with his legendary brownies, flapjacks or Victoria sponge to name a few. I came across this lovely cafe by accident as I had a meeting at the building next door, and was delighted with the friendly service, great quality and choice of food and wonderful value for money. Their main clientele seems to be office workers in the nearby buildings, and cyclists as it is located alongside the river and a cycle route. The scrumptious homemade Snickers brownie was not to be missed!! Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Where do I begin? From the warm welcome, to the delicious home made cakes and sweet treats, this cafe is just what was needed in this area of Lincoln. I regularly work in the building where Jamie B's is located, and each time I work from Oak House I come here for breakfast, lunch, and very often both! Jamie, Dave and Dylan are fantastic hosts, and really will bend over backwards to deliver a friendly service and delicious food. They even go the extra mile to cater for my very particular mealtime requirements, which is no easy feat! The menu is regularly updated with new and seasonal things to try, as well as offering great value regular classics such as breakfast rolls, paninis, home-made soups, and other hot and cold meals. This new local business genuinely deserves to succeed and I hope that as more people in the local area hear of its charm, it will become more and more well supported and loved!

Homemade cakes were delicious and fresh. the hot food (breakfasts) were cooked to perfection. I would totally recommend this café, it was good quality reasonably priced and not to "stuffy".

Jamie B's may not be on the high street but is perfectly placed to serve walkers/cyclist/ boaters/canoeists etc with a cafe stop any day of the week as well as breaks for local office workers during weekdays. It also has easy free parking for those just wanting a drive out with a coffee/cake stop!! Overlooking the River Witham gives Jamie B’s a relaxed vibe that is continued inside by a warm welcome from Jamie and staff. The very comfortable seating, tasteful decoration and excellent service adds to the vibe. The choice of cakes (I can personally recommend the Carrot Cake) is made difficult as they all look delicious and you are spoiled for choice. Jamie B's is a little gem and officially has the best lemon cake I've ever tasted. It was so good I just had to try my daughter's leftover chocolate cake as well, to check if it could beat it - that definitely didn't disappoint either. Add to that a warm and welcoming atmosphere and you're onto a winner at Jamie B's. While we were there lots of cyclists were dropping in for a quick pit stop. The cafe is really cycle-friendly, with plenty of space round the back to park up your bike while you pop inside for a treat. The full English breakfast looked lovely too, but after all that cake I just couldn't fit one in, so that will have to wait till my next visit. It won't be long.
