Nothing fancy, traditional simple look and feel. Usually parking on main street. Maybe half full late mid august Saturday morning. OK for tea, coffee and a bit of cake or a snack. Didn’t realise until too late we could have brought the dog or that in this warm dry weather we could have sat outdoors at the back. Didn’t get to look at the upstairs room either. Will probably come back again on our next of many visits to this pleasant town.

Good coffee. We had a jacket potato with tuna melt for lunch. Friendly service. Sit inside or out. Bikes can be parked in the garden round the back. Access from the car park.

A lazy cafe......soggy toastie, slow being served but no apology offered, badly unkept garden, rusty old waste bin in toilet, old toilet rolls lying around. Disappointing as this could be a really nice little cafe with some effort.

Went for a decent coffee, asking for 2 flat whites, but got given 2 mugs of coffee with a tiny bit of frothed milk on top. Effectively, it was a white americano. Tasted weak and didn't finish it. Huge disappointment. So went to the Co-op and got a machine coffee instead.

Always order dominos pizza for the kids as a treat. I've never had a bad pizza from them. Always service with a smile too when getting delivered.

Got there before 9am and asked for poached eggs. The reply was sorry we don't have poached eggs. Only fried. What does this mean? Chef on holiday? Or do they buy poached eggs, fried eggs chips etc ready cooked and just microwave them?
