Really delicious and affordable meal, very quick service. Downside is that it is cash only, but was able to get around that by placing an order on the app

Excellent food. As I understand it there is a name change but it's still in the Sufian family. It is our local so we took the risk for our wedding anniversary meal. We will be back

Great experience. Not sure where the negative reviews have come from, clearly people who are used to eating Tesco jar curries. Great bunch of lads, great food and great service, would definitely recommend!

Flavours are great, but there just isn't enough meat/paneer to justify the price. Lamb chops cost £6 - one was just a bone, the other was 2cm x 2cm of meat. The curry is mainly sauce. Sorry, but other places give much more and for much cheaper :/

This place is so highly rated as it is not ... paid 20.30 for 2 meal, Ckn Tika.. staff behind the counter was so unhappy to work and take my order.. please leave the business if you are not happy in the business.. The food was Okay with 3 star but not 5 star at all. For the money paid £10.15 there must be 175 gram of chicken in the meal ordered. I had only few dice of chkn (75 to 80 grams) with plenty of sauce. This is something that can be reported to trading standard for further invrstigation. Rice was Okay but the quantity of Ckn not enough for the amount they charged. So not worth for £10.15. Maybe 5.00-5.60 would be fair to pay for it. 1/5 overall. Just to say the food taste was great but not worth for 10 ...keep smiling while you are working behind counter.... the last not the least, CASH ONLY ... its 2024 and here we are, Living in new era and someone simply forcing you to pay cash only ... whats a difference?? what ?? I know what might be the diffs???..... come one ...there must be a pay option ...

Took over 2hrs to arrive, was given an hour when ordered

late delivery, food not very hot. starters weren't great, tandoori chicken wasn't marinated properly, uncooked potatoes in mixed starter.. the main was nice, lots of meat, rice good, so was the Nan. forgot my mango chutney! could have been better, but not bad.

Rally tasty curries, with some freebies thrown in , which is very much appreciated.

Food was ok seemed like a small potion of rice and the naan are tiny compared with other indian takaways. All tasted good but not sure it will become a regular place i would visit.

That was really excellent, thank you. The Arabian was absolutely perfect - creamy, minty and a slice of lemon on top which really adds something. The nan was also the best yet. Sometimes they can be a little too crispy so you can't break them apart, but this one was great. Starters were delicious. I've never wanted to risk the 'meat' until now because at other places it's often chewy/ grissly and I was worried exactly what 'meat' I'd be getting! But this was nice and not chewy at all. Thank you for the mint sauce & poppadoms, that was really appreciated (:

Unfortunately, l didn't get to eat most of my food but it looked and smelt delicious. The feller who delivered it was really nice and thank you for following my very specific request 😉😂. I started with the chicken chat and was thinking, "this is weirdly small pieces of chicken...". It was only when my throat started swelling up that I realised it was prawn! Just flagging this because a fair few people have shellfish allergies, and it said chicken on the front. It's also really hard to see/taste when it's covered in sauce, so not immediately obvious. I'd just be a tad more careful, but these things happen and the food is usually perfect, so 🤷‍♀️

The food was all very cold which ruined it a bit. Cold pakoras are a bit grim! And the nan bread was like a rock. It was clear the driver had been on a few deliveries prior to mine. That said, it's a Saturday evening and England are playing, so I'm sure you're very busy. The taste of the food was great though and there was a decent amount of panner in the curry this time, so I would order again - just maybe on a weekday evening instead. Thank you

Awful - ordered at 6.20, waited over 2 hours for delivery repeatedly being told it was 5 minutes away before finally giving up and ordering something else

Extremely tasty and hot but unfortunately contained hardly any chicken, 3 pieces at most! Very disappointed as usually faultless. Will try again as best curry in Sheffield but hopefully more chicken next time, if not it'll be time to look elsewhere

The food seems to be consistently good, we often have chicken tikka rezalla madras hot and chicken korma, both excellent.

Food was over an hour late, and cold when it arrived. I asked for an update and was told I would be texted, but I wasn't. The delivery lady was polite though and did apologise for the delay, so that's something. I don't think the food was worth the price. The kashmiri bhuna was lovely when it was sufians, but this one had very little flavour other than heat. It also had a gritty texture (not the crispy onions) - it was like when you get sand in your sandwiches at the beach! so no clue what that was but it wasn't pleasant, and at nearly £10 for a vegetarian curry, you expect a lot more. The nan bread was also very small - the size of a chapati. The lamb chops were nice and probably would have been really nice if they'd been warm. I used to order regularly when it was sufians, but won't be again now it's jalsa.

First time we've ordered from this restaurant. First thing to say that if a take away doesn't arrive hot what's the point ? Well these guy's certainly deliver quality food quickly. The food was way beyond my expectations , lovey and spicy , just excellent. The staff , super friendly. Generous portions and some dishes I've never tried before. They deserve to do well. No hesitation on recommending them based on this experience. We'll be back for more soon.

Had a wonderful King Prawn Curry & a vegetarian dish from Jalsa last pm. Was my 1st order since the change of owner from Sufians. I would totally recommend Jalsa and will definitely order from them again. All the dishes were tasty & wonderful big King Prawns. Please don't change your supplier. I have recommended you to my friends. Also your delivery person was very helpful & friendly. Thank You & Good Luck with the success of your restaurant. Sufians was excellent too so no deterioration in standard of food.

Excellent curry. We've tried a few of the chefs specials now and have enjoyed them all! They forgot our salad etc. To go with the onion bhajis this time but it's the first time it's happened so we don't mind!

The yogurt in raita was stale and thus bitter. The chapati also probably had too much yeast and wasn't tasting like a chapati.

Order our first take away tonight and will not be going anywhere else in future. The second you take the lid off the containers the smell hits you as if your meal in a resteraunt had been placed in front of you. Please try Jalsa the food is just outstanding. Went last night for a takeaway, what a delight, excellent food, even better service , atmosphere was great, everything freshly prepared, I recommend the Jalfrezi, with a hint of naga added fusion of Satkora (citrusy fruit) 😋😋😋 ....yummy all gone in my Tummy!

Fresh tasting, complex flavours and beautifully presented (I know it's in a takeaway tin, but they care enough to make it look good), and good veggie selection too. Chef is always happy to discuss food and give you suggestions and/or make dishes to your preferences. Absolutely love this place, 10/10 recommend!

Delicious food. Had a party for eight people and pre-ordered lots of main dishes and sides for a specific delivery time. The food was on time and piping hot. Our six guests loved it and all said they would buy from Sufians themselves in the future. The King prawn dishes and the paneer dish were particularly good. A nice touch was getting a phone call in the evening to check it was all ok. Definitely worth a try if you haven't already.

the best indian food I have had. the monday and wednesday meal for 2 is incredibly good value for money, I have never been so full after a meal! delicious fresh food, i’m a vegetarian and I have many options to choose from. There are many vegan options too. I ordered chana paneer and asked for it to be made spicier and they were very accommodating, it was one of the nicest things I have ever eaten. food is always piping hot and delivery is free too. they are very friendly too. I have recommended this place to friends and received messages saying how much they enjoyed the food as well. thank you to all the team at Sufian’s for making such delicious food and being so accommodating.

It is definitely one of my family's favourite takeaway. I wish I know this place earlier. All the dishes are freshly made in individual portion. The price is fair. We had two orders so far, one collection and one delivery, both were really good experiences. The staffs were very friendly and polite. My sons love this place and ask me if we can order from it every week. Why not?

Sufian’s makes delicious food. The owner, Sufian was super kind and pleasant to speak with. He cares about his food and delighting his customers. One visit to collect has turned me into a many times repeat customer. I’ve eaten at every Indian restaurant in Sheffield and Sufian’s is the most delicious! Hope that he opens a full restaurant in the future and upgrades from only doing takeaway.
