Jak's Mayfair in City of London, Westminster

Aquí tenemos la peor comida en nuestro viaje. Nos dieron pollo a la parrilla que estaba seco y simplemente no aceptable para un restaurante de desacuerdo.

El entorno era peculiar y me encantó la decoración. Había un olor a desinfectante en el restaurante. Teníamos carbonara y pizza, las cuatro comidas tibias. La pizza estaba empapada en el fondo y casi no se cubre y mi amigo dijo que carbonara insípida no volverá a ir

Bonito ambiente se sentó fuera con vista a algunas luces y calentadores al aire libre, etc. Bebe bien. Servicio un poco lento pero amable.

Primera vez en esta rama Logró encontrar una mesa dentro ( demasiado frío hoy sentarse fuera ) alrededor de las 18 : 15 Por lo general, vaya a Zifi’s : Mismo menú Disfrutando de mi filete de pollo, pasta, ensalada Brockley y mis espaguetis boloñeses El servicio es bueno

No puedo decir con palabras lo felices que estamos con Jaks. Organizamos una gran cena de Navidad para nuestra empresa y fueron más allá para satisfacer nuestras necesidades. Todo el personal era amable y atento y el lugar en sí estaba brillantemente decorado para la temporada festiva. Nos dieron libre reinado de su piso del restaurante y la sala de estar superior donde era más que suficiente espacio para nuestra fiesta de 30 para disfrutar. Por no mencionar su club nocturno de abajo donde hicimos la transición sin problemas hacia el final de la noche. En general, una experiencia fantástica y estoy muy agradecido al equipo de los Jaks por lo colaborativos que fueron, realmente lo hicieron especial.

El título es un reclamo audaz, pero no somos ajenos a la gestión de eventos e investigamos este en particular exhaustivamente. Requisito – Buscábamos un lugar en Londres para una fiesta personal. Queríamos un lugar con los siguientes requisitos que Jaks ofreció a un nivel excelente: • Capacidad para servir vino, cerveza y refrescos: Jak ha tenido un bar encantador. • Capacidad de servir comida vegana: Jak’s estaba dispuesto a preparar un menú vegano personalizado especial para nosotros (que estaba delicioso). • Un montón de asientos cómodos: Asientos cómodos y elegantes. • (idealmente) Capacidad de A/V: Un verdadero punto fuerte: configuración de DJ, sistema de sonido con micrófono, pantalla AV convencional, así como una pantalla larga especial en la que reproducen vídeo de fondo dinámico. • Costo manejable: Como evento personal, no teníamos un presupuesto gigantesco como podría tener un asunto de empresa y el costo total era muy razonable Preparación Personalización: Ofrecieron una amplia gama de platos veganos especiales a precios muy razonables que nos reducimos después de varias iteraciones (a pesar de que los platos veganos no estaban en su menú regular) Comunicación: Con un montón de logística que resolver, había un montón de correos electrónicos de ida y vuelta para resolver los planes y Jaks siempre fue claro y rápido en ellos. Actitud: Durante todo el proceso de planificación y la noche del evento, todos en Jak’s siempre fueron amables, comprensivos, serviciales. . Ejecución • Administrador de Eventos Dedicado – El gerente atendió todas nuestras necesidades sin importar cuán poco y resolvió cada problema que surgió. Aprendizajes • Estimación de alimentos – Tuvimos problemas para estimar el número óptimo de porciones ya que muchos de los platos se estaban haciendo a medida para nosotros (ya que queríamos todos veganos). La cazuela, la pasta y la ensalada era extremadamente razonable y deberíamos haber pedido más desde el principio. • Pizza Vegana – Jaks ofreció pizza vegana pero (a) la descripción parecía pequeña, y (be) no hemos tenido ninguna pizza vegana que realmente nos gustó (queso vegano es difícil de conseguir bueno) , pero cuando necesitábamos algo de comida extra en la noche, Jak ha producido algunos y eran más grandes de lo descrito y estaban deliciosos. • Decoración incomprendida – Resulta que nuestro evento estaba programado para el lunes varios días antes de Halloween, por lo que habían decorado el lugar con decoraciones aterradoras que definitivamente no era la vibra para el lanzamiento del libro, pero Jak los eliminó con muy poco tiempo de anticipación cuando los alertamos sobre el problema.

Gran comida y servicio súper rápido! Fuimos con niños y no podían ser más felices. Fue tan bueno, fuimos dos veces mientras estábamos de vacaciones.

Amable, atento, buena selección, relación calidad-precio y delicioso! Muy buenos cafés y jugos. Precioso interior y la selección de menú es excelente.

Este fue un lugar maravilloso para una cena familiar. ¡Nos trataron tan bien! Bebidas maravillosas y deliciosa comida! ¡Es nuestra segunda visita en dos días! ¡Gracias Jak por dos comidas maravillosas!

Nice place . Fast & friendly service. Easy to find . Would have preferred a larger coffee . But all in all a pleasant morning

I'm not sure if it was an off night or what happened, but this was one of the most disappointing meals of our trip. The reviews were high, so we were excited to enjoy a great meal. We arrived for Christmas dinner and were seated quickly. The service was okay - the young person helping us didn't really have recommendations and the one or two suggestions were not good. He told me to stay away from the Sunday roast and go for the chicken Milanese. Dry, tough and horrible. We also had sea bass, spaghetti bolognese and one other entree that I can't remember. The family agreed this was not a great way to celebrate Christmas.

Our party of 5 celebrated a birthday at Jak's in South Molton Street - on a Saturday evening in December. We initially chose the restaurant because it's name is the short form for my wife's name (!!) but the menu looked good and the reviews were favourable. We were not disappointed ! From the initial warm welcome to our departure, we were looked after brilliantly. The cocktails, food and wine were excellent; likewise the service and we did not feel the prices were excessive for a restaurant in this location. There were a couple of very nice touches - firstly, the manager provided a couple of pairs of "funny" Christmas spectacles to 2 of our party and he also arranged a special desert (no charge) with a candle and a sparkler plus singing of Happy Birthday by him/the staff for our birthday boy. Thank you to him/the staff for a special birthday dinner. We will definitely return !

Great place to go with friends after hours for drinks and a bit of a boogie!!! SADLY the DJ could do with educating on reading the room. We were the only people up and dancing for the majority of the night but the DJ wasn’t interested in playing to the room. Even when we requested songs he literally ignored/blanked us. Rest of the people working there were great at their job but just do t expect the DJ to veer from his set list!!!

Absolutely beautiful!!!! The whole experience was amazing.. The food was excellent, the quality perfec and the portion sizes were huge. I had the ribeye steak which was cooked to perfection, my son , the lamb shank, the meat fell off the bone. We also had the veal and cannoli, which were equally fantastic. The service was of the highest standard throughout. It was my son's birthday dinner and we had an amazing time here. Fully recommend.

I had the most revolting meal I have had in a long time. Poached eggs with smoked salmon on toast. the toast was not toasted. just stale bread. the sauce came out of a jar. the salmon was doled out in an excessive amount and tasted slightly off. the waiter was Albanian and had no English. You would expect a little better in Central London and for an exorbitant price. do stay away - it might make you ill. Lucia

Booked Jaks Mayfair in S Molton Street for mine and my wife’s 50th Birthday party. From making the booking, meeting Dawn events manager to arrange how we wanted the party to go, food selection and welcome drinks, I can not fault the place. The staff, bar staff, Met the manager on the night, in house DJ, it’s was all superb. 10/10. I would confidently recommend this place to anyone. All the guests at the party complimented the place. It’s is truly amazing. The decor, lighting, screens and 10/10. I will book again in the future but for sure will go there for lunch. Food is so good. All at Jaks, thank you very much. The memories we will always cherish, keeping doing what you’re doing Jaks. What a place. ❤️

Together with a group of friends and colleagues, 12 in number, we attended Jak’s restaurant in Mayfair for a pre-Christmas dinner. This iconic restaurant is just oozing with class, looks quite small from the outside but when you walk in it is like Doctor Who’s Tardis, spread over 5 floors, we were given a private room on the 3rd floor with its own bar and excellent staff. We had pre-booked our meals and they were served and presented well, food was excellent and champagne and wines flowed, and we had a lovely evening. It was my first visit to Jak’s, some of my friends has been there before, I will certainly visit again. We had a truly memorable night and thoroughly enjoyed the meal, service, and company.

I’ve come here few times now and would highly recommend for a fun time! Miguel at the bar makes the best cocktails and is always a laugh, good vibe place go visit them.

Great selection of food and combinations. The food itself was very nice and the portion very adequate. Pricey, not really for the location in London. The staff were lovely and accommodating, professional service. However, with the bill comes an automatic service charge of 12.5% though. After a lovely service and meal it always feels wrong to quibble about the extra levied charges. It somewhat has snug in during the last years that the public is now expected to directly pay some of the staff wages? No other profession is asking for this. What happened to the days when we rounded up for good service? Now its part of the meal regardless of the quality of service. Any other business that would do this (think of a well known airline that added hidden extra charges) would not get away with this but in restaurants its now acceptable to have extras added for someone carrying a plate to the table. I will not return, as this spoiled a nice treat. There is a difference between doing something out of free will or being forced.

Flat white £4.50, slice of cheesecake £8.50, Americano £4.00. I know it's in Mayfair but come on, the place is nothing special, the service was ok. What's the most we can get away with charging? I prefer value for money establishments, I won't be returning.

How do 'restaurants' like this get away with it? Food was inedible and expensive. They have two females enticing tourists into the place and quite frankly it is an embarrassment - that tourists are being ripped off. The waiter was accommodating and promptly took the main course away and didn't charge for it.

The food was verry good and the service was great. The location is also good, only a few steps from oxford street. Highly reccomend for every occation.

My wife and I and our friends had a lovely meal here and some fab cocktails before going into a show. Great service, great food and a nice venue. The cocktails in the basement bar were fabulous.

Very nice looking restaurant in a shopping street. It has several floors, we had lunch at ground floor. Tasteful pizza, served by a nice staff.

Service was very disappointing on the arrival. No one seems care or welcome the customer in the entrance. No one approached us when we entering the door while we booked the table of 5. Somehow need find the staff and ask them for our table....

Whilst the chap serving was friendly I am afraid the food order and food were well below standard. 2 of the 4 main dishes were not as described, 1 was sent back and returned still not right, however by that time we were hungry so...

Excellent customer service and the chef Sam went out of his way to make certain we were satisfied with the meal. It was delicious!!! Highly recommend

We are long time fans of Jak's in Chelsea and Mayfair, but they have not recovered from Covid-19 and do not appear to be trying. The toilets are not clean even in the morning, and they overcharged us under the Eat Out, Help Out scheme....

Everything at Jaks is great! Location, food, cocktails, staff and ambience. We had a cosy lunch upstairs and then in the evening, in the basement bar, for cocktails! We look forward to coming again.

Great place, food was amazing, very delicious,similar to a good restaurant in Italy, portions are really big, price is also good! Wine was great and we got very good cocktails for free on Valentines 💕and live music added extra points! Recommend this place!👍😜
