We would have liked to have had lunch here but they were, unsurprisingly, full. But, still a godsend of a find for me as I am gluten intolerant. It was SOOOO good to get a gf, vegan sausage roll as I never see such things anywhere. I wish that more bakeries like this would open up everywhere, and maybe they will. Thanks so much!

Hate to write a bad review, especially for what looked like a sweet little independent cafe such as this. My husband and I had a vegan sausage roll each and an americano each. The total price was £18.00!!! The price for the small vegan sausage rolls in the cabinet was £4.85. As we were leaving and paying at the till we were told they were £6.00 each. (The manager/owner ?) then said that that £4.95 was the take away price, and wasn't sure why there wasn't a ticket in the cabinet for £6.00 eat in, but excused that away saying he wasn't there very often. The only other staff there was a sweet boy of about 11 years old, and a late teen girl who I suspect were his children. Of course we expected him to apply the code of what the ticket says should be the price its sold at, but he didn't offer this. We paid the amount asked for, despite knowing that we could have demanded to pay the price that was advertised. We left feeling ripped off!!

What an absolute gem! Having several food intolerances including gluten and dairy ( plus others ) it was unusual today the least to find somewhere catering for such people. To discover that ALL their offerings are gluten free, many are vegan or dairy free and are homemade on the premises was a FANTASTIC FIRST!. Although quite small, the cafe is very homely and welcoming and the young lady ‘ front of house ‘ was so friendly and helpful. Her mother who owns the business should be very proud … and perhaps a little more tolerant if tables are not cleaned before customers have left the premises 😉. We shall return and recommend!

What a smashing little place. Very fresh pastries cakes and snacks with a little bit of different in all of them. Freshly baked by Jake’s mum and God love them all, this place offers over and above what the others have in Southwold. It is quirky, wholesome and if I lived locally, I would say addictive.

A tiny place but we (4 of us) were able to sit together thanks to other customers, making room for us. The coffee was to my taste but not all of us agreed. I had quiche and salad - delicious Then apple cake which was totally delicious The lady behind the counter was excellent Will definitely visit again when next in Southwold

Really nice gluten-free food. Lovely bread in cheese toastie, and thoroughly recommend the onion chutney. Dog-friendly.

£37 for four cold taste less snacks. BE WARNED costs a lot more to eat in this place than the prices displayed on each item rip off Britain. UNFORTUNATELY NOT INGORM CORRECTLY OF PRICES I BELIEVE THAT THEY SURCHARGE EVERY INDIVIDUAL ITEM ie frittata £4.85 to take away …. & £6.50 to eat in in uncomfortable chairs the lady was also extremely rude. It’s a shame I didn’t take photos

Fantastic gluten free bakery and cafe. The cheese scones are incredible and such a treat as a coeliac. We stocked up on cakes and a loaf of bread too and it was all good. The coffee was great, and they made room for us with a pram despite limited space. Absolutely will be back.

My husband , daughter and granddaughter were seated and ordering food, drinks etc. Our 22 month old granddaughter was eating a very small sandwich we had brought with us, as we often do when out. We were suddenly abruptly asked by a staff member if her sandwich was gluten free. We said it wasn’t and then were equally abruptly told she couldn’t eat it in their cafe. No explanation was offered. We hadn’t actually realised we had walked into a gluten free cafe. I don’t think we would have been so annoyed if things had been explained a bit better, or more politely. Will not return.

What a gem👍. A dedicated GF bakery with some DF goodies too. I am Gluten intolerant and was like a child in a sweet shop! So many places just offer GF brownies or flapjacks but I had so much choice here. I had a ginger/treacle iced cake and my husband had an apple/ blackberry slice. Both were excellent and you wouldn’t know they were GF. I took home a cherry frangipani and a cheese and cider pie. My only regret was not buying more😝. It was lovely to see a young family working well together too. I wish we lived closer!!!

We were very disappointed. We were looking forward to a great coffee in Southwold, seemed to be run by two children, flat white was awful, cakes looked good but were expensive and not great all. Would not recommend or return.

One of several coffee shops we tried in town, and they served perfectly acceptable coffee and cake. it's a tiny place but did the job for us.

Great for gluten free, obviously. A real treat to be able to choose from a range of delicious cakes. Had to bring some home as well

Hands down the best bakery in Southwold. My wife is gluten free and could literally buy every item in the shop when we visit. Service is always fantastic with a smile. Always happy to listen to dietary requirements to make sure your eating the right things. Highly recommended.

Such friendly, smiley service every time. An amazing range of goodies on offer and all gluten-free. Such a rare find. Delicious cakes. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic offering for Coeliac's. Our 15 year old was over the moon with the sausage rolls, scones, and cakes. Highly recommended.

Wow! Amazing cakes and pastries that also just happened to be gluten free! Incredible baking and everyone should try these cakes! The custard tarts were outstanding! Please keep going. We will be back!

Lovely cheese scone! So much choice-like a child in a sweet shop not sure what to have! Small seating area but we got lucky. Very nice coffee too!

Visited cafe on a sunny February Monday morning for Coffee and cake - excellent service, delicious cake and coffee what more can I say apart from can’t wait to return!

Went with my husband on a Tuesday, was perfect for the climate and shortbread was absolutely delicious 😋
