Jade House Chinese Take Away in Shropshire

Service was OK but food was horrible the satay sauce was like water and the food was fatty and bland. Even my 16 year old said ot smelt weird Won't order from here again. Worst chinese I have had for a long time.

Lovely people but the food isn’t rateable. BBQ sauce is like water no taste at all If you have a chip special the tray is full of rice and hardly no chips or sauce Tried bbq spare ribs other night and they had hardly any meat on, and the meat that was on there was like chewing through a brick, hardest meat I’ve ever encountered on ribs. Shame really as ONLY choice you have in a small village, think they would do quality food as the custom is always there

Absolutely the worst I've ever had , in at 5.00 and all our food was reheated , yes every meal , last night's leftovers , disgusting, all in the bin , went to kum tong in Bridgnorth, and wow totally different standard . Worth the extra drive 🚗

Wasn’t sure if it was open when I first walked past but I’m glad I got a menu! I got the pork fried rice with curry sauce and my partner got the chow mien and sweet and sour chicken. My pork fried rice was pretty good ngl! Highly recommend! Tho it’s a bit dry so I tried my curry sauce with it- NOPE I don’t like it personally- It was a lil less sweet and a lil too much spice to it, also kinda watery too? Not bad tho I’m still eating it My partners chow mien tasted burnt from likely the char grill but I’m not sure I didn’t try it. No complaints on the chicken balls I’d give it a 6/10 honestly! Not bad but not amazing! Lovely staff tho!!

Had a takeaway from highly towards the end of last week. Both my wife's and my food contained chicken. We have both been very very ill since then. The food was disgusting. Please please be careful what you eat.

Ordered a delivery to Unicorn camp site,delivered in 25 min,food was spot on,very good,£30 min order on delivery.

Can't see the reason for all the negative reviews here? We've ordered from Jade House twice now and both times the food has been great tastes really good and piping hot as it should be. Will definitely be a regular here now

Me and my girlfriend ate from here on a weekend trip away, we have suffered from food poisoning after eating this food which was chow mein and egg fried rice. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

So... I ordered a simple sweet and sour chicken balls and chips. When I got home the chicken balls were tiny and mostly batter. I complained to the Jade House and instead of offering us a refund or to make some fresh they refused and blamed their supplier. Customer service is very poor. Be warned.

Just had our meals delivered, the food was lovely, hot and tasty. Highly recommended.

Delicious and reasonably priced. You have the option to have your food cooked in vegetable oil or lard. Don't have that in London.

Never again. It was a Friday night so expected a busy Chinese, I was told an hour for delivery which was acceptable. 2h25 minutes later and 5 phone calls later our food arrived . Luke warm . The grievance doesn’t end there. The food was awful. Large prawns passed off as king prawns coated in soggy batter, egg fried rice that resembled porridge. Chow mien with no more than 3 Grammes of chicken no veg as such and seriously over cooked all accompanied by a bag of smashed prawn crackers. No apologies from the driver or shop staff. Just don’t do it!!!

Waited 2 hours and 15 minutes for our delivery when we were told it would be 45 Mins. Not surprised it was cold when it arrived. Just isn't nice to eat re-heated takeaway.

I live close, They took an hour to deliver my food and when i called to Politely ask if its been sent out, The man on the phone started being really rude and Hollering at me. Delivery Woman was lovely Though

Very quick service, filling food and plenty of it. No card payments though so cash only.

I've put one star but to be honest I wouldn't give that .. wrong meal bearing in mind I went into to order ,food cold , bbq ribs dry and tasted as tho they had been cooked for hours , cold prawns (prawns) cold what the hell ..you want to give your customers food poisoning.. up your game jade house !!! DISGUSTING only just started to order from you again after 2 yrs #i think we'll keep away from now on

This is one of the best Chinese takeaway I have ever being to. I highly recommends if anyone go there you must try out the King prawn fried rice.

Absolutely discusting food, very bland tasteless and not very warm. Phoned up to complain and they didn't seem to care. If you like working hard to pay for rubbish then its good but I WILL NOT EVER be returning. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Excellent service. I am almost 9 miles from them only get charged £4 delivery. Extensive menu and good quality. I have used them for five years and never been disappointed.

On holiday down here and phoned for order to camp site and they delivered, food was brill, will be using again on next camping trip.

Lovely food and wait wasn't too long, however they do not currently accept card payments, so large sums must be paid in cash. Home delivery available.

We love this Chinese takeaway. There are no eat in facilities. This is only eat out, they do delivery and the delivery service is very good. The food is always really nice. They have the best large pancake rolls I have ever tasted, hey have a lovely crispy batter coating. Service is good and quick. The staff are nice. If your in Highly give it a try.

I have used this Chinese takeaway for 17 years. It used to be fantastic but in the last year or so the food has really gone downhill. The spring rolls were the best ever. Now they’re mediocre. The house special curry has hardly any meat in it. The hot and spicy/saltother and pepper ribs (can’t remember what they call them) are tasteless. I am so disappointed, I’ve never tried Happy Highley but maybe I’ll have to in the future. I don’t know what’s gone wrong but it’s so sad. Fingers crossed things will improve.
