Never received my order The driver said he couldn't find me even though I sent him 3 words location and when I looked at Google maps it goes straight to my location. Very disappointed.

Ordered a few times and every time the portions of meat/prawns continue to get smaller and smaller. Maybe try quality rather than quantity. More meat/prawns less noodles and rice. Just packing meat on the top and no meat in the bottom is not good eno

Seems to have changed management, always used to be gorgeous - they did follow order instructions I left but the food just wasn’t the same as it used to be 😕

Beware when ordering - states free prawn crackers at the top of the page but then you do not receive them. Apparently you have to add them to your basket but it does not state to do this - false advertising! Phoned to enquiry and was quite rude in telling us it’s because we ordered through just eat and nothing they could do.

Horrible. Bland food. It’s was one of the worst things I’ve eaten.

ignored all order notes. Food used to be ok at Jade Garden, not anymore. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

The ribs were awesome bar one that was a bit too fatty. The soy duck and pork is really really tasty (though I love soy sauce so of course I love this). As usual I’ve saved leftovers for lunch tomorrow at work! I highly recommend getting the soft noodles as a side to mix in with fried rice, two texture and extra leftovers!

Usually quick and efficient service. Not a good experience this time. Delivery was missing the free item and an incorrect item was delivered. Quoted 10 to 15mins for replacement and missing item. 55 minutes later only replacement item arrived.

Never ever again. Duck meat was taste like been cooked yesterday. Beef wasn’t cooked properly and was like gummies. It was more onion then other vegatables and meat.

Hi so I ordered a duck with plum sauce but I get different food it was duck with pinaple sauce with pinaple chunk

Quick delivery but the food was lukewarm, hardly any meat in the curry and a bone was found in a piece of the char Sui pork which hurt my husbands teeth. Won’t be ordering from them again.

Absolutely diabolical. Ordered at half 5 for delivery at 7 pm they didn’t deliver by 7:20 so reported it to just eat jade garden changed the status to say out for delivery and to be there for 7:30 didn’t come by 7:40so called again and said it still wasn’t out and they were sending it out and it only arrived at 7:55 3 hours after placing the order I will be putting a formal complaint into just eat as this is the 3rd occasion this has happened

Ordered £32 of food and they have us the wrong order. We had to take the order back and asked for a full refund. Staff very rude we will not order from here again.

Simply the best place you will ever eat. The salt and pepper chicken is warm, spicy, delicious and so good it will send your tastebuds back to outer space. The chow mein is also amazing, in fact the whole menu is amazing. Look for a random number, try it and you would be impressed. Trust me, it is the best

Prawn crackers were clearly last nights chicken balls were soaked in oil and restaurant prices!!! Ordered from here for years….not anymore I’m done!!!

Over the estimated time. Called and said the food was 15 minutes away from being made, this being an hour and 20 minutes AFTER the order was placed. It has now been an hour and 40 minutes and my food still has not arrived.

ordered at 7pm requested order status threw app got a text from restaurant says be 10mins . meal must have been thrown together with a bucket of salt thrown on it. obviously be rushed to to get it out . meal was uneatable most was thrown in bin . no very happy at all

2 hours and 10 minutes from ordering to delivery. Food stone cold. Restaurant phone line constantly engaged. Really poor. Definitely won’t use Jade Garden again.

The won ton soup was really nice but the quarter of duck was no way near a quarter, very small portion, very disappointing.

So disappointed!! I have had food from Jade Garden for over 10 years now and their chowmein was the best around. Sadly tonight's was disgusting and I have had to throw it away, we bought 2 chowmeins both smelt really funny and tasted awful, 1 more than the other. Can not put my finger on what is wrong wether they have changed the recipe, added too much or too less of something or if so of the ingredients are well past the sell by date. 😪 puts me off returning sadly

Ordered from here forgetting what a terrible place it is. I’m not sure if it depends which shop it comes from as when castleford shop is closed orders come from pontefract. (That’s why it’s over 1 hour and cold when it arrives) our food took 1.5hrs to arrive. Duck was a rainbow colour which happens when it’s going off and the rice - put it this way, if I’d known it was coming raw I would have microwaved a pack of uncle Bens out of the cupboard. Woul have been nicer and cheaper too. Disgusting how they don’t tell customers where the food is coming from. All of it was disgusting.

Said delivered on just eat , guess to meet targets but called take away and said not left yet .

food was early, was unfortunately full of grease, onions even though we asked for them not to, usually really good but very disappointed, duck was dry and grainy ,will not be ordering again

food was cold chicken omlette was salty and cold, thin like fish bones in the chicken and gravy, wont be wasting my money again going else were, this is the first time i've had a bad meal from here and first time i have had too throw my food in the bin, which is a shame as i have ordered from here for years

In regards to the food. We ordered a Singapore fried rice which is described as spicy, the flavour was incredibly bland and there was hardly any meat within the container almost all rice. (Minimal meats, no heat, no flavour) The beef curry again, no heat and the chips were very dry and chewy. It’s clear they had been kept warm for a long time. Awful. Never thought you could get chips wrong. In regards to the food timings, When considering who to order from it was indicated delivery between 50 and 70 minutes. Once the order was placed it then stated at 7pm the delivery was between 8.05 and 8.35 so now from the order was placed the delivery is between 65 and 95 minutes. So why has this moved ??? Eventually our disappointment of a meal came at 9 o'clock. 2 hours after the order was placed!! 2 HOURS. From “could be 50 minutes to actually 120 minutes !!!!!!!” ??????? How can the timings be so badly predicted. We looked forward to our meal and not cooking on Friday evening, Most of the meal went in the bin, then we ended up making something. No taste, dishes not as described, poor service and food far far too late. I also don’t understand the added fees, delivery fee, service charge and bag fee. I thought only large outlets charged bag fees? Also, the bag is for the convenience of the delivery so why charge the customer? I’m not the one benefiting from the bag??? Delivery fee for a £30 order ???? Service charge?? In buying a meal I am purchasing a service so why am I paying again for an additional service charge ??? A total disappointment, £33 paid out, a total waste of money.

45 mins late. driver didn't care looked at me stupid. not far off been flat cold. 55 pound order. waste of money . all takeaways in castleford are the same. rubbish

When the food arrived. The chips, noodles and rice were all cold. I contacted to explain this and it seemed a big issue with the lady on the phone to send replacement ones out. I had to reheat the food. Poor customer service. Very disappointed.

My recent experience with Jade Garden left much to be desired, warranting a one-star rating. Despite placing an order via Deliveroo around 7:30 p.m., my food didn't arrive until a staggering 9:50 p.m. This extensive delay was exacerbated by a phone call to the restaurant at 9:00 p.m., where I was assured that my order was en route. Given that I reside a mere five minutes away, such a prolonged wait time is utterly unacceptable. Upon finally receiving the order, my disappointment only deepened. The food arrived stone cold and noticeably soggy, rendering it virtually inedible. Regrettably, consuming even a portion of the meal led to both myself and my partner falling ill. In fact, my girlfriend experienced such severe discomfort that she ultimately vomited as a result of the food. In light of these distressing circumstances, I strongly advise against patronizing Jade Garden. The abysmal food quality and negligent service make it a regrettable dining choice, and I would caution others to seek alternatives to avoid similar experiences.

the only salt &pepper on the ribs which where more gristle than meat was the salt and pepper I put on to taste and the beef in pepper sauce would gashes been better if it wasn't cold

Waiting 45 mins past latest delivery time called up food sat on the side waiting, 25 mins later still not arrived another call made and food still sat in the side and still wasn’t on its way! Dried up food absolute waste of money very disappointed lost a regular customer as I will not be ordering again

Food arrived on time and was nice and hot and generous portion sizes. Only complaint is that the chicken fried rice was just Chicken and rice, no veg or anything and was a little bland otherwise would have been 4/5 stars

I ordered half a duck, it seemed short, and the delivery man broke my gate

Aromatic duck was excellent but the chips were dry and scabby, the rice wasn’t cooked properly, the ribs were tough and the chicken and mushrooms just wasn’t very nice.

The Jade seems to have gone down hill with its service. I ordered for 20:00 then the time changed to 20:10 which is fair enough. But then to arrive at 20:20. I notified just eat to say it was late at 20:15 then to arrive within 5 minutes just shows that the food is just left on the side. I then had to microwave it as it was cold. If you order for a time it should be out on time. I don’t usually write reviews but too many times food has arrived late from here and is cold. I can understand Saturday

Food was pretty bland, chips were like soggy cardboard and they sent a meat vermicelli instead of a vegetable one. (My partner is allergic to seafood). Won’t be back, every time we’ve ordered from here it’s slowly got worse and worse.

Ordered early as it was New Year’s Eve. All arrived hot & was delicious. Always use this place for our Chinese fix. Really enjoyed it. Did choose 7:30 delivery time, the estimate was 7:40 & it was about 5 mins later than that. Not a big issue really.

Waited over 2 hours for an order that said it would take 40 minutes. When we rang the shop the phone was put down on us twice whilst they apparently checked the order. There was no apology

Food was meh. Annoyed that the wrong sauce had been put in the all in one box and the salt n pepper chicken was chewy. So majority got thrown out. Last two times the deliveries had been super late and this time things were incorrect. Sad :(

Food was surprisingly hot, even though we ordered at 7:50 ish and received it at 9:40 after our delivery estimated time was 8:50-9:10… this isn’t the first time this has happened either, so I’m assuming they forgot our order and then had to create a new batch. Ridiculous.
