Thought I should update after regular visits over the years. Really tasty and the portions are so generous. Service is really friendly and responsive. We've now switched to ordering the chop suey more which goes well with rice. Plus, you get fortune cookies! We usually order two dishes and we get so full or can't finish between us. Though we do get greedy and overeat and sometimes order another side. Two years ago... Best Chinese takeaway. We always order the prawn fried rice and beef chow mein. Generous portions, we always have leftovers. Efficient and friendly service too, what you look for in a takeaway as you have to run back to your car. And they accept cash only.

Fantastic service. Didn't order chips and when i rand they sent them free if charge.

I made an order for Chicken balls, with curry sauce and Salt n Peeper chips. Food was cooked in under 4 minutes which was abit miraculous. Came home, the salt and pepper chips, which cost me £5 were dry, the green pepper was raw, the chips were dry, no seasoning, no spice, not even fresh.. was just reheated chips. The curry sauce that came with the chicken balls had loads of oil inside which was disgusting, never know anything like it and the chicken balls were dry. Called back up to let them know and they asked me to bring the chips to “check with the chef” which if the so called “chef” had made salt n pepper chips right in the first instance, wouldn’t have been a problem and they expected me to trail back to the Chinese shop with the £5 chips to just get a fresh order with my food. Wouldn’t normally leave reviews for takeaways, but these guys just took the p*ss!

The best Chinese takeaway, I drive all the way from Skipton as it’s the only Chinese takeaway that does great food. The lady who takes the orders is always so kind and lovely.

Really good takeout. Favs are the Beef in Black Bean with green pepper, king prawn ginger and spring onion, dry spare ribs and vermicelli. I didn’t realise it was cash only, but they let me pay by bank transfer.

We don't often have Chinese food because there isn't a restaurant in our village and no delivery because we are in the sticks. We decided to try this one on our way back from the theatre in Leeds. The lady who took the order was so patient and polite (and smiley when we picked it up) the food was stellar. We will definitely be returning. We had lemon chicken, special fried rice, king prawn chow mein and mixed veggies. Plump prawns perfectly cooked (not rubbery) good quality chicken. Highly recommend.

The food is always amazing. The chicken curry is out of this world. Tonight had Chicken in kung do sauce it's like sweet and sour with a bit of a kick. Absolutely gorgeous was meant to share it but ended up eating all of it. This take away goes from strength to strength. Really appreciate your food. Thankyou

Not sure if its a one of or whether there has been a change of chef or something but the food was not great. Its been a while since the last order but rather disappointed ☹️.

Always great food from the takeaway, especially Salt-N-Pepa spareribs which are my personal favourites, but I can honestly say I've never had a bad meal from this place...

Delicious Chinese food, very quick food preparation and amazing customer service!

Everything that we ordered was delivered very quick and was piping hot. All the dishes were tasty... special chow mein, chicken curry and sweet and sour pork Cantonese style were all very nice. We will definitely use this place again when in Ilkley would highly recommend.

I visit jade garden weekly as the food is always fantastic. Great portion sizes and good value for money. The staff are always lovely too. Highly recommend.

Excellent food! We all really enjoyed it, great portions. 2 mains, 2 rice and chips was good for 3 of us. Great sweet and sour chicken, and the chicken bamboo shouts was not too salty. Just right! Very nice customer service as well!

Really good takeout. Fast and friendly. Try the banana fritters for desert. They also do great tofu dishes, they even made me salt and pepper tofu that was not on the menu but delicious with pancakes and hoisin sauce.

Really pleasant people behind the counter, the food quality isn't consistent, sometimes good, sometimes not so, but, they're local business serving the local community so I will continue to support them.

Absolutely disgusting, I am completely and utterly shocked at how bad it actually was! We ordered sweet and sour chicken balls with salt and pepper chips. The chicken balls had been over fried in old oil so they were tough and had a funky taste, the sauce was gloopy and fowl and the salt and pepper chips were just oily chips with green pepper and spring onion, definitely not salt and pepper. Extremely disappointed given the 5⭐️ Reviews!

Second time we have had a takeaway from here and both times were absolutely delicious. I can honestly say we have not had a Chinese this good for ages. Food arrived piping hot, and the freshest, great quality ingredients just made it sensational. Absolutely would recommend.

Excellent choice great quality and very reasonable price. When you can get quality Chinese for less than fish and chips it's got to be good. We fed 4 for less than ilkley chippies charge for 3 very impressed.

Definitely my favourite Chinese, every dish I get from here is fantastic. Always fresh and tastes amazing and such a lot of choice. Also not too pricey! The people there are also very friendly despite being busy. We keep going back almost every week because its that good.

Shocking. Saltiest food I've ever eaten - like off the scale salty. Big shame because the ingredients seemed fresh and of good quality. Ruined my evening. Only awarding 1 star because Google won't allow me to submit this review without giving it a star.
