First time and last time for jade garden soggy fried rice beef curry full of onions and pre cooked beef wasn't good never again.

Had many take outs from here, food is never on time and when you have to wait it’s freezing cold in there but the main thing is the food is always really good !

Always delicious! Chinese from here every time. Had Chinese from here for Chinese new year. Try the prawn toasts and chow mein.

I ordered for my partner’s birthday Saturday night for 9 of us (27th January) and can I just say on behalf of regulars that use this take away in town we have not had any issues with them as for some of the biting reviews they’ve had on here. My in-laws have used them when it was a restaurant some 30 years ago and the young lady serving we know is their grand-daughter, she has always been exceptional, we don’t know how she does it and she’s always been serving every time we order, and would wish the customers a nice evening without fail which is a lovely touch of customer service. she’s happy to make conversation with everyone when she has time !! It’s a crying shame for some of these reviews that isn’t their fault and probably not this place, I have the fussiest children and husband they can cater for them everytime and myself that I can’t have gluten or dairy products!! It is freshly cooked food we can ask for dishes to be done to our taste and dietary…just ask…the server is lovely and they are always very helpful !! Don’t want soggy batter let them know you’d like the sauce done separately !! Big, lovely portions and great prices for the area. Spilsby could do with more community spirit look at all the empty shops already.

Absolutely dreadful food, even worse customer service.! Meal was inedible and price was ridiculous. £11.60 for chips and chilli chicken. The chicken was hard and tough rubber. Huge pieces that you couldn’t chew. I don’t even know what the water like liquid was meant to be or taste like. It was like nothing we have ever had before and this is our normal dish from any other Chinese! The chips were just fat filled solid crusts, and god forbid you call them with this criticism. I really don’t know how they are still open.

After being disappointed with our 2 local Chinese takeaways we was told to try Jade Gardens as the food and service in there experience have been extremely good. Jade Gardens is a good 20 minute drive for us, but we thought we would give it a go. Ordered over the counter and the staff member was very nice and I got service with a smile. Waited about 10 to 15 minutes which in my opinion is very exceptable, customers Co.ing and going all the time I was seating waiting ( great sign of a good takeaway ). The lovely lady over the counter called me over for my food and smiled and said hope you have a nice weekend, don't get that service very often in a takeaway. We ordered Chicken Chow Mein, Egg Fried Rice, Sweet & Sour Chicken Cantonese Style, Shredded Chilli Beef and Mini Spring Rolls. It's a 20 minute drive home so we was both thinking it would need a couple of minutes in the microwave, that was not the case the food was still hot. We both very much enjoyed all of the dishes and the portions were big, it was very tasty and probably one of the best Chinese takeaways we have had for a longtime. Price wise I would say its cheaper than our 2 local Chinese takeaways. We will 100% return to Jade Gardens its well worth driving over to collect it. Plenty of parking when we went Friday evening around 17.30.

This is a takeaway only but they serve generous portions of extremely good food. We are very fortunate to live not too far away from this excellent takeaway restaurant. Top food!

Food okay, greasy, as usual but, the food has always leaked out from the container, as usual. Be very careful where you unpack your takeaway. I'd have thought that, by now, they'd use leak-proof containers.

Had chicken curry which was like water the chicken was slime. Chicken Cantonese style there was no chicken just batter, absolutely disgusting will never go back what a waste of money.

Tasted okay. However, the food is the greasiest I’ve tasted in a LONG time. Salt and pepper chips were nice. Large spring rolls were like greasssssey pasties full of bean sprouts.

I fancied Chinese food so we ordered from Jade Garden and boy did we choose the right place. Food was hot and cooked to perfection, tasty and just the right amount of black beans and garlic. The sweet peppers were just right, lightly stir fried but firm (always a good sign), the prawns were big and juicy, the rice was perfect. My other half had the Prawn with Mushrooms and fried rice. We both enjoyed it immensely. Never had a bad meal here and will be back soon.

To be honest we were struggling to find somewhere to eat in Spilsby that catered for vegetarians. Even the Fish & CHip shop cooks in dripping! So the Chinese saved the day. It's not a fantastic menu for veggies, no tofu to be seen, but chose the mushroom chow mein, hard to get that wrong. The young lady at the counter could not have been more charming, helpful and professional - she is a shining star! Very impressed, thank you. We ordered egg fried rice and chicken with cashew nuts. They were big portions, bigger than we expected. One portion would have been enough for two! If you both eat the same type of dishes. We shared the chowmein which was lovely. The chicken dish wasn't so good. Pale, bland and actually slimey. Didn't look very nice. Fortunately we had enough other things to eat, but that was a shame and did spoil the experience. Otherwise all good.

We routinely get takeaway from here and have never been disappointed. Food is nicely cooked and with generous portions. Prices not bad either. Closes early (2100) but you just have to be organised. Recommended.

I honestly cant remember a time when I've tasted a worse Chinese takeaway. Cantonese sweet and sour was an odd colour, greasy and chewy. The egg fried rice was really stodgy. Personally, I would be ashamed to send something like this out to customers! Where is your pride Jade Garden! Its such a shame when you're really looking forward to eating something nice and it turns out to be pretty horrendous - as this was. Reputations are everything - and Jade Garden needs to do much better than this!

I’ve read some pretty biting reviews but this place is always busy, always polite, the food is excellent, spicy sea salt chips are a must and I’ve seen people place msg free orders and other off the menu stuff, the pancake roll is huge and it’s reasonably priced, I actually travel them miles to use this place...so go5 to be something in that.

This takeawy has restored my appetite for Chinese food. Whilst self-catering the 4 of us tried a Chinese takeaway as we'd noticed how popular it was. So glad we did the food was excellent and such good value. Spilsby is lucky to have some really good takeaways.

This chinese is ace! Always quick service, delicious food! Usually get bad tummy's from chinese takeaway but not here, it is an ace place! The opening hours are great as I love coming late at night - jst sad they are closed since coming back from Malaysia - can't wait for them to reopen :)

This takeawayis one of the poorest I have experienced in over 50 years. Food was almost inedible. Slow service, which also meant it wasn't very warm on home arrival. Can't say much more than try for yourselves.

Ordered sweet and sour chicken Cantonese style. Chips and a curry sauce. Over a tenner but wouldn’t have minded the price if the quality was there. The chips were obviously twice cooked and disgusting!! So hard that when u put them on your plate it made a clinking sound like penny’s dropping on it. Absolutely in-edible. Even when I squeezed them they didn’t smoosh. The sweet and sour was really really bad. Grissley and hard and tastes old never mind looked it. Curry sauce came out like a block of butter and we only live up the road. We gave them another chance after the duck was cremated last time. But won’t be doing so again. Their attitude stinks and they don’t care about the customer they certainly do not entertain complaints just like most Chinese takeaways. I would honestly avoid every takeaway in Spilsby and also the cafe on the corner. But that’s another very disgusting story.

I’m a local in spilsby, when ever we get a Chinese take away, we go to Jade Garden, it is the very best place in our area for an amazing Chinese take away, I can’t fault there food and it is of the best quality around, you are always greeted with a smile and they are so friendly, I do think it’s value for money as I have said the quality is amazing, everything is cooked fresh to order, the shop is spotless clean, I can’t complain about anything, take my word for it. First visit here and I think I’ll definitely return. Good points large portions and tasty food. Bad points cash only and not the cheapest (£2.30 for prawn crackers).

Last night of our hols so decided to have a Chinese. Very tasty and reasonably priced. However couldn’t order by phone as line wouldn’t connect? Very enjoyable after going and ordering, not too long to wait

5pm on a Sunday and nowhere else has opened so trying Jade Garden. Walked in as first order and 32 minutes later food is readyDuck curry is a blend of anaemic duck chunks and mayflower style curry sauce with onion and peas. The sauce is thick and the duck and peas looks microwaved with a watery bottom smothered in mayflower style curry sauce.Egg fried rice is amazing!Crispy beef was ok and chicken wings were better than those up the road at the golden dragon.

Very clean looking place and the staff were efficient. Great Prawn crackers. We found the starters a bit greasy. We had a special curry and rice which was ok.

Okay food, friendly service, this is just for take away. This I think is only opened From Tuesday to Sunday.

We had a meal from here the chicken curry is very very nice a bit heavy on the peas and onion but great flavours,the chicken balls we're Lovely,well the fresh 1s on the top were that is although further down the bag they were rock hard and I think double cooked! The chicken satay was very nice as was the chow mein,ribs we're tiny and very fatty but actually had a lovely flavour,only other criticism was it's a cash only establishment so has to brave the wind and rain to go up the end of the high street to get some cash out all in all though a good meal will go there again as best in the area

I've been to the jade garden so many times I can't even count and every time you walk in you get great service and great food! I couldn't recommend this Chinese enough!

One of the best takeaways in the area. Food is possibly not as 'English' as some people are used to, but my Dad says it is more authentically Chinese (and he has travelled in the far East so should know what he is talking about).

En varias ocasiones hemos pedido entrantes, platos de pollo, huevo frito arroz y patatas fritas; todas de un alto nivel. La comida está recién hecha, caliente y sabrosa. El servicio siempre es cortés y eficiente. Nuestros pedidos teléfono listo justo a tiempo. La única sorpresa para una primera visita a Jade Garden es el gran tamaño de la porción por un modesto precio.

This place is TERRIBLE, the food was greasy, slimey and tasted like it had gone rotten, stay away unless you have a death wish.

Fab choice of food. Quick service brilliantly cooked and so tasty. No resturant for seating and the seating area is a little dated but don't be put off fabulous food.

I have visited Jade Garden on a number of occasions and this is my first review. I have eaten Chinese food on many occasions, both in this country and in other countries including throughout Europe, Malaysia, Singapore and the Caribbean.For me the food from Jade Garden is on par with other take always and unlike another reviewer I have never had an issue with the food. It is tasty and well prepared. I will certainly continue to buy from Jade Garden.

Standard Chinese take away, food is reasonably priced with large portions but personally do not like the quality.

Just recently moved to the area and we were looking forward to a chinese. Crispy Beef was all soggy, the meal was below average at a high price.We won't be returning

Great Chinese takeaway, not too expensive and always very friendly. As a child I remember having a takeaway from Jade Garden most Saturday nights and eating it infront of Saturday night telly. Can get very busy however is always fast service. On the odd occassion we have found an item missing from our order but as the portions are large, there has always been plenty to share around.

The jade garden only does take away food but their is a good choice on the menu and the food has always been nice when ordered from here in the past. It has a good number of customers going through the doors but you do not have to wait long to be served and the service has always been polite. The prices are average portion sizes are quite good. I have no reason to complain and will visit again when in the area.

This is takeaway only and does not have soup on the menu unlike every other Chinese Restaurnt and takeaway I've eaten from/in over the tears, this was a first. I really fancied chicken and sweet corn soup as a starter but had to go without. The food wasn't bad but it was great either, the king prawn dish only had 7 not so big prawns in it. Don't think I'll eat from there again.

Great little takeaway, I would recommend this place, we use jade garden instead of the Beijing, the jade garden offers lovely FRESH food, however I have found that the food can be quite salty, and somewhat pricey! However much better compared to the Beijing!
