Jade Garden in Greenwich

(2024 update take away shop closed down at least two years ?)Have not used them for a few years not sure why but will be again, best in the area and we have been ordering a lot of Chinese since lockdown and disappointed a lot, fast and great food

A nice Chinese fast food, perhaps not the cheapest in the area but what I got was tasty.

They have a really easy to use website, food arrived in good time, tasted great and prices are decent. I highly recommend!

Very disappointed I've used theses for many years and always promote their food and their service. BUT Not only have their prices massively increases, the service has dramatically decreased. .. Tonight's order was incorrect and after contacting the shop to report this, the attitude was very unprofessional, but was promised a replacement that never materialised... Bet bad attitude after taking the money. Not even an apology, but an insult

My meal was very late, luke warm and NOT very good but I was really hungry. I had some and left the rest for later. Reheated it later and I bit down on a large industrial METAL STAPLE in my food??! Called up and spoke to a really rude and thoughtless man that did not take responsibility or even apologise for the fact that I nearly choked on a VERY SHARP PIECE OF METAL. The person thought it was very amusing until I reminded him that if It had been MY CHILD, the situation would have been handled very differently. He thought that was funny too, so I called Head Office and they were disgusted with what happened and with my treatment. Investigation started, let's see Jade Garden treat them like how they treated me. It's NOT the money, it's about something called PRINCIPLES and this is clearly something that JADE GARDEN DOES NOT HAVE! AVOID!

I ordered couple of times chicken chow mein and both times came with 70% bean sprouts and 40% of noodles wont be using again🤷‍♀️

Very fast service, great food, we tried sweet and sour chicken and king prawn noodles and it was delicious.

Food was terrible the lemon chicken was so old it was dried up like eating a dry cracker it was disgusting rice was cold chicken balls were cold and all batter .Have always used Jade Garden but will not any more!

Love these guys! Always super friendly. The food is always good. The open kitchen is nice and clean and you can see them cooking your food which is fun! Delivery option is always quick too!

I have been ordering from Jade Palace in Charlton over the phone, so I have never actually been to the shop but this evening 24/2/19 this is the first time I went to the shop to order & my gosh I was not impressed. The reception area & kitchen is in one so you can see what’s going on in the kitchen. I see a chinese guy in the cooking area stuffing his face which looked like chicken & he kept spitting it out in the bin, he chewed & spat several times. The cooks were eating, talking with food in there mouths & cooking at the same time. A lady with long hair was on the fryer, hair not even tied back. People was coming in & out of the kitchen chatting, it was just too busy in there & it was not a good look. A lady comes in the kitchen with high heels on, (Heath & safety hazard). After seeing this I definitely will not be ordering from here again 👎🏼

Used to be nice staff change and very rude unhelpful staff. Food is now terrible. When I complained that my dish was bot what I asked for I was told it was and coz I opened it I have to keep it. Also other dishes were oily and bland.

I order from here all the time and never had a problem, the food was great as was the customer service, however today I found a used plaster in my food, after calling to complain, they only offered me a refund for the chicken and told me never to order from them again claiming i put the plaster in the food myself, very disappointed in them and i will gladly not order from them again!

Assuming I am a regular customer, I eat at least twice a week from them. The food is delicious, the staff friendly and welcoming, especially the chef who works hard and cooking like a god. I highly recommend it to those who want to eat well and spend the right. Try the udon, the are fantastic.

Poor customer service and forgot our drinks. The chop suey was not fantastic.

Very polite staffs, decent price on food, I haven't tried their delivery service yet. Their prawns are cheap, and the portions you get for your food is quite a lot. I ordered the house special fried rice and it came in a kebab/fish n chips yellow carton take way box! The best thing about this Chinese takeaway, is that they do Dim Sum! If you don't know what that is, it is a Chinese dumplings, or exotic dish. You will not find these anywhere in other take aways, let alone restaurants. But you will find dim sum in China town restaurants or JRC and other all you can eat restaurants like Cosmos. The store is always clean, and they close every Tuesdays, open other days from 5pm to 11pm. Their Crispy Shredded Beef is nice and soft, not too hard or spicy like one that I had from another takeaway.

The shop has been completely refurbished recently and it has new owners. I've been to China multiple times for work and holidays and always get frustrated when ordering take-away Chinese in London, which usually tastes nothing like the real Chinese food, but food from this shop tastes really nice! They have really nice and helpful staff as well, nothing like the old owners. I highly recommend the Peking duck pancakes, just amazing with hoisin sauce and spring onions. 5 stars!

I love their food but as other reviews explain the state of the shop is a big put off. They have a 3 star food hygiene rating and it shows. The food is delicious, except the chow mein. I can't fault the food but please clean the shop!

I really love their food but I have been put off recently by the state of the shop. They need to clean it. Doesn't look good at all, dirty windows, dirty floor and writing all over the walls. The buisness is family run and always have kids running around inside the take away. Clean it up a bit please!!

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE-Special chow meins & Rice dishes are extra DRY, hardly any meat on Ribs or Chicken satay..chicken curry consists of over fried strips of chicken in a slosh of gunky sauce, spent £41 and nobody could eat any of it..Everything was Bland-Chewy skimps of meat-greasy chicken balls....NEVER AGAIN!!!!
