Nearly 2 hours late fish was fine but chips were just little scraggy ends

Fine fish supper delivered fast from the frier — thanks to chefs and courier. PS. Drink and sachets of tartar sauce were missing. The drink was promptly refunded by Just Eat, but not the sauce (since it wasn't a separate item).

The order I got was not freshly made the chips and the fish tasted like reheats I have never complained before in all the time I’ve ordered on here I was very upset and disappointed with what I received it is my weekly treat that I look forward to ea

Ordered a mini fish supper, which arrived on time but the fish and the chips were both cold. The fish batter was hard instead of crispy, which made it very unpleasant to eat. Ended up putting it in the bin. Definitely will not be buying from them again. What a waste of money.

There was about a spoonful of gravy on the chip so they were very dry and tasteless

Food may have been late but it was well worth the wait, all fresh and hot and sausage is different class and the gravy to go with it just enhances everything.

Was told it was delivered then when phoning up was told it hadn't been delivered as it didn't have the correct phone number or address. The restaurant did have the correct number and address. The attitude of the person on the phone was disgusting too

Ordered here a few times everytime they forget to put salt and vinegar.. so I actually phone them this time spend £30 on mine and my family’s dinner. Wee girls hates chippy without vinegar and salt… phone them up to get called a liar.. repeatedly keep saying I didn’t ask for it when I did. Blatantly says put it on everything apart from the ice cream. Full point is they called me a liar didn’t even. Offer to drop viegar off just blatant I didn’t ask ..ok then bad service

Lovely Chip shop . I had the homemade steak pie chips and peas Brilliant. Really big portion £10. Only reason did award 5 was the fork was hopless broke after about 1 min

Went with my Son to visit a place where my Father had spent his youth in the early 1950's and what a gem of a place it was. Two Teas and Two Bacon Rolls served with a friendly smile and such great value and a well recommended place to go if ever you are in the area. We didn't try the Ice Cream for what it is famous for but it looked really good. Couldn't wait to tell my Pa that we had been , he's nearly 90 now and has told us such a lot about the place over the years , however , he left Glasgow many years ago but has such fond memories of Jaconelli's . Thanks to all for such a great time ...........

An absolute Gem of a place to visit for a full Scottish fry and only £5:50 .Like walking into a 50’s diner it looks like it hasn’t changed since then also Great deserts and a little sweet shop too

Hot and fresh great fish and chips

This is a very very special place. Pretty much next door to Mackintosh church, (and Partick Thistle). The atmosphere and the food are a reminder of the priceless things in life and has sadly got lost. Got talking to one of the neighbours round the corner, it’s a proper community. As for the vanilla ice cream - with a dab of raspberry sauce - buy one, take to the church (open 11-4 Mon,Wed,Fri) and buy another on the way back. There’s a big feature in the current Glasgow University Guardian, 100 years old this year, Art Deco interior, Billy Connolly was once a regular, and for all that this place has seen it is still very special for what it is now.

Hour 45 mins late what I don't get going to pick it up at this restaurant is always unavailable you don't have option to pick up but with delivery time this bad it's a joke

the best chippy. everything is always great and arrives fast and hot. took a while to find a good chippy out this way and so glad I found this absolut gem.

Food was delivered late and cold. Work all day in hospital and use your shop every week or twice a week. Don’t order from Jaconellies they don’t help when food is late and do not offer a credit for cold unedable food £10 pound plus in the bucket have now lost money and need to have cereal!!

I've been ordering out of your shop for over 20 years, the food I ordered was meant to be homemade steak pie peas and chips my mistake I got steak pie and chips it was full of grease and the chips were pure blanched (half cooked) the homemade steak pie and peas are lovely, but the steak pie and chips were basically not nice for the money I.paid . very disappointed.
