J D Wetherspoon in Perth & Kinross

On entering the restaurant I noticed that some of the tables had not been cleared. I moved some plates to sit in a booth. They stayed on the other table while 2 members of staff just walked by then a girl picked up the cups and left the plates which were eventually picked up. The food, fish was good and hot, cheese burger was just warm and no more, the chips on both plates were warm and had to eat quickly before they got cold. We have eaten here on 2 other occasions over the years and nothing has changed. The staff do not look happy and I can understand why. I also wonder about the management. The prices are very good except I felt for what we had it was definitely not worth it. It is such a shame as Wetherspoons in Oban is clean, friendly with a good atmosphere.

Found a piece of plastic in my meal told manager who basically wasn't bothered will never come back the fact that he didn't care was bad enough but never saw him take charge just saw him outside smoking

This has to be the worst wetherspoons we have ever visited. There was only one staff member serving at the bar and one serving tables, our food took over 20 mins to arrive to our table which is actually against what wetherspoons promise, all meals should be served within 10 mins! The tables were sticky and smelly. The food was freezing cold, and staff weren't the most pleasant. they couldn't even smile. I would avoid this place at all costs!

We visited today, had a lovely meal, staff very friendly especially Arran, very polite and helpful, nothing too much trouble. Spotlessly clean, including the toilets. We will definitely return.

Very unfriendly welcome from bar staff. Made to feel like an inconvenience. Tables were sticky and unclean. Empty crisp packet on table. Average food. But poor, poor service. Apart from staff member who took my plate away. Smiley person there. Bar staff could pick up some tips from her.

Dropped in here a few times over our long weekend to blairgowrie. But just had to mention the team leader and his team on evening of sun 1/10/23. We have been to dozens of "Spoons " all over UK and can honestly say this is the happiest most efficient team we have seen. Everything was clean, everybody was served quickly with a smile and a chat. The team even had time when turning tables to check with customers if all was good. So well impressed we just had to say Thank You😀

Never again place was filthy. Tables ,seating ,service bar and floor under tables.Food arrived and was cold complained was given hot chips no apology staff attitude unacceptable..

Pub wasn't that busy. Service wasn't the best we felt like the plates were thrown on the table. Fish chips and a smudge of peas tastless but cheap and cheerful, you get what you pay for !!! All the local cafés closed early or we wouldn't have ate here and won't return again.

Drinks came out super quick and really easy to order on the app, food came out freakishly fast too. Staff were super nice but food was terrible. Food was obviously microwaved as rice was all dry and stuck together and curry was cold and hot in parts... Premade poppodums were covered in oil for what ever reason and I'm sure there was a mango chutney which didn't appear. Drinks were nice and atleast cold!

Terrible chefs just honestly terrible service !!! Feel sorry for front of house staff kitchen is shiiiiiiii. Ye to be nice

Lovely food, piping hot. Great value for money for both food and drinks. The service was good. It is a really nice Wetherspoons. Would definitely go back.

I was a tiny bit hesitant on visiting Wetherspoons, but this was a delight The fish and chips are absolutely delicious The chicken curry superb. The staff are wonderful they go above and beyond to make sure you have a great dining experience Value for money 10 stars Well done Wetherspoons

This is a far better werherspoons than Livingston. Food was piping hot and tasted good and very reasonably priced.

Everything was great service from Thomas expert on non alcohol beers and fish and chip were great would come back again really enjoyed it

Went in for lunch today one of the staff members accused me of using a fake id on Saturday evening and pointed at the table where i was apparently sitting when i was not even in the restaurant on Saturday, she also accused me of this without even asking if i was in the restaurant first. This is something i could never imagine doing to someone it made me feel very uncomfortable and angry, i will not be returning any time soon.

Popped in for an unexpected late Sunday lunch, it was very busy but we managed to locate a vacant table. Nobody takes your order but there’s a large sign on the table promoting the Wetherspoon phone app, by using it to order your food/drinks, they will be delivered to your table. Well I didn’t have the app, so after browsing the menu (with at least 6 choices for vegetarians) I went to the bar with my table number. Ordered fish, chips & peas and veggie lasagne with side salad, plus 2 drinks and paid £11.60 to the efficient staff member. Food was delivered within 10 minutes by a surly waitress. For any condiments, you need to go get those yourself. Food was hot and tasty (unusual for a vegetarian lasagne but it was nicely cooked). Wouldn’t hesitate to return, just accept that the service can be hit or miss.

Bowl of sadness. I think they dipped these nachos in tears of small children. Dry nachos sit lonesome in a sea of grease as dollops of questionable dipping sauce is whapped on the top. The only saviour of this dish was the guac, but even at that it was a toxic green. Felt the hulk. FILTH!

First and last visit, menus, tables and cups caked in old food. Ordered at bar which was unmanned, had to wait then food arrived cold, chips were spongy and inedible. Was provided with dirty cutlery, had to look for cleanish forks and knives myself. Tables and chairs far to close together, would be impossible to negotiate a wheelchair. Badly needs a unannounced visit from environmental health.

After a good day out in Inverness we decided to go to Blairgowrie for food arrived about half seven pmtook our seat decided what to eat two fish and two burgers went to bar only to be told they had neither hadn't had a delivery for 3 weeks (apparently)they gave us a list of what they didn't have (85%) of menu we didn't want to sift through menu to find what they had better to tell us what they had instead of what they didn't ???? Very disappointed ruined a very good day out

Been in this restaurant a few times and it gets worse each time we go in! Chairs, especially those in the booths are filthy and tables are very seldom clean. Not worthy of a Wetherspoon.

We chose this restaurant by process of attrition - we could not find anything else open on a Sunday afternoon. We got what we came for .... a good meal. All four in our party enjoyed their different meals and the atmosphere was pleasant and amicable. Staff okay too.

We went to Blairs Wetherspoons on Curry day last week, same as usual, couldn't fault the food, the Curry good my wife had and the Gammon and the trimmings I had good but the plates are very rarely hot, this time it was the food that heated the plate but was stone cold by the time we finished, the last time we visited the plate had been partially on the hot plate, at least some of the food stayed hot.we sat near the serving hatch and sometimes annoying when you see your order sitting too long waiting to be served to the table. Will go back as I like the beer but some of the staff are a bit surly, I smile at them surely they could return the complement and not say to move to the next till, nearly always seem to happen.As I said will be back but there are other eateries but maybe not at Wetherspoons prices.

En Blairgowrie en negocios y paramos en para cenar y una pinta. Al entrar me pareció un poco iluminado bar ruidoso con mesas sucias. Al acercarse al bar que fue dirigida no con el derecho consuetudinario, "Hola", sino con "venir a este "desde el director bastante maleducado.Pedí una pinta de Guinness, que era bueno y, de hecho, en el derecho temprerature para un cambio. Volvimos a pedir comida y la camarera era muy agradable y hablador como el director había ido a otro sitio.Pedimos pescado y patatas fritas y como me senté otra camarera se acercó y me dijo que me había acabado de pescar! En serio? Así que cambiamos a la lasaña.Este fue entregado por el gerente de maleducado (sin duda no era "sirven") con el ahora habitual dificultad. "Lasaña". No hay "hola", no "quieres algo más?", no hay sonrisa, nada. De hecho, ser tajantes, ella era un alma miserable.Fue lo suficientemente buena para comida de pub.La mesa estaba pegajosa, los menús distribuidos al azar, el mal servicio y todo el lugar mejor descrito como "incómodo". Yo fui testigo de al menos 12 clientes de comer su comida y levantarse y salir. Sin duda para ir a algún otro sitio para poner fin a su noche.Parece que el lugar sufre de complacencia.

Inesperadamente apareció en principio para una bebida, pero decidimos comer. Aprovechamos la oferta dos comidas cuentan con mi esposa comiendo pollo hamburguesa y yo delgado un bacon burger.Ambos llegaron rápidamente, era cálido, y muy sabroso. Las patatas fritas eran agradables y crujientes y la ensalada fresca y crujiente.Las mesas estaban limpias y el personal y aclaro rápidamente no puede ser criticada y fueron especialmente servicial. Todo el lugar estaba muy limpio y agradable. De hecho, el único aspecto negativo es que es muy oscura en el lugar con las luces ser es difícil leer algunas partes del menú cuando en letra pequeña.

Mi familia y estábamos visitando Blairgowrie hoy y vine aquí para una agradable comida. Yo estaba muy impresionado con el servicio y la comida, y quizás incluso el mejor weatherpoons que he estado. La comida era precioso y a que a mí me gusta. Yo tenía un enrollado de pollo con ensalada y una encantadora brownie de chocolate budín de refresco para que era alucinante!!!! Gracias!

Away on work and stopped here for food. Really good and the pudding was fab! Cheerful atmosphere with great view of the river across the road!

We spent 4 hours in here drink was cheap and cheerful we decided on some food it was curry day out comes the food the onion bahji would have broken my teeth over cooked and solid as a rock the poppadoms I sent back as they were not cooked and just a ball of grease out came the new ones exact same as for the bar staff I myself took our glasses over to the bar twice they were too busy chatting among themselves

La salud ambiental debe comprobar ... gerente no es agradable de enfoque. inútil. Tres veces he que esto vaya. Silla de bebé.nunca había lavado en meses. Pedimos camarera para limpiar sus mesa. Me pidieron que quieren todo hecho.? Luego sacó ropa seca de Jay de bolsillo de delantal ... hecho.

Tienes lo que pagas! Pero siempre es razonable. Sabes a esos precios que no van a recibir comida de gourmet. La queja más grande es la falta de personal - las mesas son a menudo con platos sucios. Pero todavía visitar regularmente porque es barato y alegre!

Nice interior, good selection of breakfast choices - quality of food terrible (bordering on inedible), service was poor although I think this was due to a severe shortage of staff as the waiter was doing his best! Will definately not be back.

This is the third time we have to the flair o Blair the first time was great the next time they messed up the food order only being down to the lack of training of the staff . Tonight waited ages to be served only one person behind the bar food then very dissapointing . Went to order dessert so many people waiting gave up went too sainsburys got children ice cream went home too eat it . Will never go back again shame because it can be a good and enjoyable experience . J. Amos .

Have eaten here before and it was average. But the next time we called in it was reasonably busy and every table available covered in dirty dishes. Maybe just a bad day.

First visit - looks good and staff friendly and efficient. Beer at bargain prices - less than £2 for a pint. Eating experience not so good. Menu layout not ideal making it difficult to read. Not an enormous range of food but all the usual suspects - steak, burgers, fish & chips, chicken etc. We were in a big party so service understandably a bit slow. One of the party ordered fish & chips but they had run out of fish!

We visited Wetherspoons in Blairgowrie on Tuesday and thought we would try the special Steak Club and we were not disappointed, two of us had the Mixed Grill and Wine and another friend had the Chicken Melt at only £7.75 each. It's a really nice new restaurant, well decorated, lovely toilets, nice friendly staff all in all exactly what I'd expect from the Wetherspoon Chain. The only downside was the food was a bit cold.

Have been to the wetherspoon very nice staff on a the times we have been there the food that we had was cold there was not enough staff on to serve the as it was sitting on the hot plate going cold the kitchen staff were putting out too quick for the waitress to cope as there was only one waitress on I await your reply

On holiday in Blairgowrie - visited the pub a number of times - nice friendly staff - drinks of a good price and choice.

Good cheap beer of great variety, free Internet, comfy seats, reasonable food. This is why the other pubs in Blairgowrie are losing customers

not enough staff on a saturday,having to wait long times to be served,same story on the sunday the pub was busy but staff to slow and there was only one helpfull member who was a bit older and had better people skills

Just your regular Weatherspoon's - you know what you are getting and the atmosphere was great. The food was good and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Great place to eat, unbelievable value as they have specials on during the week.On this night steak with fries and salad and a free drink of your choice, beer or spirits, £9.99.Really friendly staff and a really modern restaurant with a great atmosphere.

Avoid, Simple. The food (did I describe that as edible?) was just awful. Out of steak, ribs and the substitute offered looked like dog food.

Just what you would expect from a Weatherspoons but just what we wanted/needed. Good beer & food in clean, safe suroundings but not over priced. Just so you know, there is a long walk (upstairs) to the toilets.

Need I say more? I think it's fine if you want a quick bite to eat and fuel up!! Plus the big bonus is it does not cost the earth!!
