Horrible grainy claggy pasta overwhelmed with garlic and cold chips - Asked for refund of £13 by text - got one word reply no - phoned and she shouted at me and hung up - phoned again - same rant and hung up - tried again and she threatened to report me to Police !! More like I’d report her to trading standards !! She’s the one with horrible customer service - don’t order from these people just disgusting attitude from her - doesn’t merit any stars but review asks for minimum unfortunately

Hung up on me when I asked for a refund, then wouldn't answer the phone when I tried calling them back.

As always a 5* + for ivano, Carol and the team, food is always a 10 out of 10 and service with a smile , I recommend the pènnè bosciola it is stunning as is the haggis lasagna, tagliatelle marinara to mention just a few Always fresh and cooked within the time frame for collection see you next week guys thanks again x

Pizza had hardly any topping it was like a wrap with some tomatoe sauce and a little cheese on it it was awful.price board not right was charged dearer than board and told proper prices online,do not take a menu as prices are not right on that either.staff rude so I won’t be back there again and certainly don’t recommend it.

I've given it a five for atmosphere due to the authenticity of their food - takeaway.

We absolutely loved our food tonight, it was delicious. The people were lovely and friendly and we went back to tell them how wonderful it was. We will definitely be visiting again if we come back to Dumfries.

Delicious and quick from walking in to walking out. Pollo parmigano 100% recommended if you like cheese... A lot of cheese

Don't order from this bunch..ordered from uber eats..when didn't get an order reciept..phoned up to see if they recieved the order..got nothing but abuse..order was for £50...jokers..stay well clear...

Pizza soggy , and pasta tasted like sea water

Ordered many times from Ivanos and always had good quality food. Unfortunately last Saturday I was very disappointed about the pizza. Hardly any topping, olives with stones and a horrible taste. Pizza base soggy. All together NOT a very nice pizza. Hope this was a one off.

Ordered a pizza, it came 1 hour late, stone cold. Mushroom sauce like cheese it was that cold Then after being told id have the order replaced. Hit with abuse. And refusal, then had the fone slammed down on me twice. Woman is a cow.

Initially sent the wrong meal. ordered risotto and received penne with prawns. Called straightaway and they immediately apologized and sent out a refire. The risotto is delicious and the sauce on my husband's pizza is one of the best I have had since emigrating to Scotland this year.

Pizza base, tomato sauce & toppings were delicious! The cheese on top was a big let down as it tasted cheap.

Ordered from Ivanos and food was 40 mins late and came cold. Batter on fish was soggy, pizza was stone cold and they forgot some of the order. I phoned to complain and was presented with a voicemail that told me they weren’t taking orders and to call I mobile number. I called the mobile number and it went to voicemail and the voicemail message had racial profanity in it. When they eventually called back they thought it was a joke and they refused to bring me the missing food as they were busy with other customers and offered to give me it with next order. As if they think I would order again lol. Quick enough to take the money but very poor customer service.

My order of chicken fungetto was covered in hair, was almost like it was deliberate as there was lots of hair that I'm shocked wouldn't go unnoticed! The owners wife took my complaint on the phone and her attitude was stinking! Telling me how my dish was cooked and saying she made it herself. Will never be back and have told family and friends that use to be customers too. Wouldn't of even complained if it wasn't for that cows stinking attitude towards customers.

Used to love this takeaway so much but after poorly cooked food not so much. Pizza toppings were forgotten and no refund was offered after we had paid for them, the garlic bread had black burnt lumps on top and a random mushroom was in the pizza along with everything being a little undercooked and doughy as if they have rushed it.

Waw ivano's italian chicken pizza,with added extra's of pepperoni,sweetcorn+sliced tomatoes,it was so delicious,definatly getting this again+delivered fast+with a big smile😊xx

Waited nearly 2 hours for a delivery. Food was cold when it finally arrived. Had pizza and chips been warm they would of been descent. Macarroni not that bad but not great. The Chicken parmigiano however was horrific sauce was bland and the chicken breast strips they described on the menu tasted like the cheap nasty frozen cut up chicken you buy in a massive bag heat up in the microwave. Id say microwave quality rather than restaurant quality.

Ivanoes is number in Dumfries by far. Best price, best food end of. Simple. Benvenutos couldn't even tie Ivanoes shoes

Wrong order again. Drove 20 mikes round trip to find out we were missing some of the order. Not the first time this has happened.

Ivanos is the place to go for your chips, pizzas etc. Best Italian you can find. Highly recommend. Sometimes very busy but the staff are very pleasant.

as usual an excellent meal. we had lasagne and a pizza. the lasagne is the best we have had outside of italy! we had tiramisu for the first time and it was so good, top restaurant standard. can heartily recommend this takeaway. incredible value for money.

Very average chip shop and pizza was not great. There is better chip shops nearby I.e Palmerston cafe.

Not only did we find a hair in the pizza there was also one in the chips. Then when we phone to complain we were basically told it wasn't possible and make our to be a lier! Absolutely shocking attitude towards costumers and your people skills have a lot to be desired ........ won't be back

Visiting Dumfries and came across this takeaway by pure chance - what a great experience. Really good quality pasta and sauce and a lovely home made carrot cake all at a reasonable price. After nothing but bland corporates in other places what a pleasure to find a business that provides lovely food, well priced and good service. Highly recommended.
