I was attending a training session and went to Itsu for coffee for the facilitators and myself. I was served by Dorin who welcomed me with a warm smile. He was very polite and engaging. I would recommend itsu at T5 for their fantastic staff and high quality coffee. Thank you Dorin for such a great experience

Great place to come if you’re vegan/plant based. They have so many options available including a vegan sushi platter, miso soup, hot vegetable gyoza and hot chocolate bao buns!😍 absolutely amazing! Can’t recommend this place enough. One of the best places to come if you’re vegan at LHR. You won’t be disappointed and yes we went back to order more chocolate bao buns. 🤣

Be careful! They charge extra if you seat there even though there is not service…crazy!

Itsu serves sushi, gyoza and hot dishes from Japanese cuisine. Everything is going in a healthy direction. The food is really tasty and the prices are really reasonable considering you're in the airport. There are also some vegan and vegetarian dishes and snacks that are clearly marked. There are several seating options and you can always find a place. The employees are very nice and quick. As is now the case almost everywhere in the airport, you can only pay by card. The cleanliness is also good for the high volume of people.

£13 to sit at a cramped communal bench table, eating a tiny portion of average sushi, with a can of flavoured water. The wasabi was a strange dark green colour and smelt off, but the server assured me that this was what it was supposed to look and smell like.

Not having the basic breakfast “eggs” in the morning is very bad. The staffs look sleepy and dull, difficult to speak up and explain.

Nearly all items on menu contain egg. “Sorry madam we are out of eggs” … put a sign up saying so please. All items overpriced. Coffee made by machine (where’s the love?). Were it not for the fact that we needed a seat in a frantically busy Heathrow, we would not have bothered. PS sorry ITSU staff, I am usually not this brutal but what you are offering the paying public (with appetites) is rubbish.

The food was fantastic! It's likely the best home-cooked style meal you'll find at London Heathrow. I thoroughly enjoyed my bowl of teriyaki chicken, brown rice, and vegetables. The ingredients were all high-quality, making the meal even more satisfying. Pricing might just be a bit steep…But it’s good food.

I was helped by Anne when I buying my sushi. She was very friendly and helpful. when she asked if I have itsu account to earn the stamps. I told her I had before but forgotten the password. She was so patient and helpful to encourage me to get my account back for the benefits. It was such small thing but really touched my heart with her care. I would like to thank her wondering service.

I visited Itsu on a stopover in September 2024 because I already knew the franchise from London. Food was healthy and tasty, prices were okay for the airport. I liked the atmosphere, nice tables, everything was nice and quiet and relaxed. Staff could have been a little more motivated.

I couldn’t have asked for better! The food was fresh and tasty, and the staff showed such kindness! Wholeheartedly recommend for a quick bite at Heathrow! Thank you the very kind manager who served me and my daughter :)

They also do 50% off the last 30 minutes before close. It's one of the better options in the terminal if you're hungry.

You need to buy a meal to buy a bottle of beer?? Snacks don't count. If I wanted a meal I would have went somewhere else.

Ordered breakfast bao buns which were cold. The bacon was cold ham & the eggs were cold & seemed to be mixed with cheese or mayo. Vile. Threw them away. Cost £40 for 4.

It’s an airport eat out. Nothing fancy. I probably ordered the wrong thing as the sauce was too sweet for me considering it was called spicy teriyaki

Chocolate mousse was ok, but too small. The mango cake was like gum. The coffee was terrible, just brown-coloured water, no taste.

Awful service. When I picked up one of the many empty wooden trays to put a selection of the one remaining main course option, a dessert and a drink - all of which were obscenely expensive - I was greeted by a sarcastic and rude member of staff to tell me that it wasn't a tray, and directed to an area nowhere near the entrance where I could get a tray (there were none there). Frankly when there is a row of empty rectangular trays on a shelf with no price tags you do kind of assume they are trays for customers to use. Then at the checkout I was told "if you want to eat that here it's 20% more because of VAT". My family and I have eaten at many other itsu restaurants over the years and had a good experience. This is the worst experience I've ever had at itsu. I won't be spoken to in that way by staff, I recommend you send your customer service staff who were on duty at 8:30pm on Friday 19th April 2024 on customer service training. Plus when you advertise that you're open until 10pm, have at least a few different mains on offer.

I went to itsu terminal 5 while travelling,and had their chicken dumpling and miso soup really enjoyed my purchase.Shop was busy but staffs were very efficient and helpful they assisted me to choose food and shop was very well organised .I really loved their customer service.

I chanced upon this quiet Zen Japanese themed restaurant, and have now been frequenting it for months. Light, fresh food, ready to take away within minutes. Families regularly dine here, and I can personally avow how much all demographics love the breakfast and Lunch options available. The staff were very kind, answering all my questions patiently. I have seen staff frequently cleaning surfaces, and restocking the Sushi Displays. Sushi was restocked frequently, and the Hot food was made on-the-spot. Plus the drinks never run out, so one will never run dry!! I particularly like the combination of traditional Japanese cuisine, with the modern eat-as-you-go culture. I recommend Eating in store, under the overhead Mood lighting, so that one may experience a relaxed ambiance vibe, against the Panoramic backdrop of the Airlines ready for liftoff. -AA

I flew to Paris and had breakfast at Itsu T5. We had a bacon bao which was delicious.The service was fast and staff excellent.

I was served by a Kind Gentleman named Mustafa. I was extremely pleased with his kind service and gesture. He explained to me the Ingredients on a Sushi Product which I was not aware of. I was very happy and will definitely come again. He Greeted and served me very well. Thank You Happy Customer Sikander

Prima eten maar service was slecht. Toen ik al betaald had en het veel duurder uitviel dan gepland gaf de cashiere aan dat eat in 20% duurder was (terwijl er geen enkele service geleverd wordt). Toen ik zei dat ze me dat ook wel had mogen vertellen gaf ze aan dat ik dat maar ergens in de winkel had moeten lezen en ging ze met me in discussie. Slechte service.

I know I can relax and enjoy a good meal at Itsu when I am in transit in T5. It is easy to order and the food quality is consistently good.

The food here was good It they ran out of items quite quickly And it was annoying that there were few vegetarian breakfast options It would have been better for lunch items to be offered the whole day to accommodate for later or earlier flights

Unfortunately the second time my teriyaki js way lower quality than a normal Itsu outside the airport. Sockets doesn’t work at allllllll I can say because I tried. Stuff don’t really care much about your complaint they just get paid to work as a machine isn’t it? Rats and mouse all over and it’s normal says one of the stuff and you can avoid them. REALLY?

It's ok for an airport and the food was the usual quality for this chain. I was disappointed to find broken USB charging sockets at their seating area - seems that maintaining these aren't high on the agenda.

Rice: Hard inside mashed out side. It was not edible. Shame. Dumpling sauce was good.

Need to remember to avoid this place. Udon noodles without any flavour, overcooked noodles, it was probably the cheapest set of ingredients they can mix together (and badly). Utterly disgusting! Never again!

Food isn't fresh as advertised, food is premade and frozen, served after warming under a hot lamp. Nothing is actually cooked here essentially they have a decent microwave. Barley any sauce in the tiny cup of food, only 1 type of rice. Not very tasty.

Paid for this wilted soggy mess and the usb ports do not work

Broth is not tasty and too sour. Ordered veggies dumpling noodles, greens, miso broth soup and didn't enjoy it.

In the busy Terminal 5, this is an oasis of a place. I sampled the chicken soup with very delicate noodles (sorry if I am not using the right terminology). It tasted healthy and awesome. I also noticed many customers were sampling fresh sushi boxes being stocked during the day. I highly recommend Itsu during your stop-over visit at Terminal 5 @LHR Airport.

I had a lovely time at Itsu Heathrow until they closed up and then started bagging up remaining good stuff for airport staff and then throwing all the leftover food away without offering to any of the folks around them (we were boarding a flight). When i asked them about it staff were rude and dismissive. Sad.

Decent for food at the airport I must say. Sushi was passable, but the miso soup was horrible. Also, service was bad and rude.

This place was easily one of the best Japanese places I’ve ever been to, the miso soup is full of the finest ingredients and was made to perfection. It was warm and comforting to eat. 9.7/10 would recommend to anyone any day and made my day.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! I’m so upset after my encounter here. The staff are so MEAN!! I was in Heathrow airport to go catch my flight back home and I craved sushi. I asked the staff for help as I have a disability and the staff was PLAIN RUDE! The staff member (the manager I believe) was the main ringleader and was extremely mean! I hate this place and I think they were mean because I was disabled

This was definitely good enough for airport food. The dumplings, udon Thai noodles, and sushi were definitely acceptable and hit the spot for a group of tired, hungry travelers.

I wish that I found this place sooner! Located in a quiet area. There is a lot of vegetarian options. I went for two sushi boxes and will definitelly be back next time.

A good option in an expensive airport. For just 7-8 pound you can get a hearty pot of noodles or rice with a protein or veggie. Very uncomfortable chairs however and the bins were overflowing the whole time we were there. Really nice to see live orchids and butterfly installation as part of their ambience which helps make the airport nicer.
