Modern and highly automated place suitable for a quick lunch. Helpful staff where they even offered me miso soup for free. The place is always clean and prices are normal for what is consumed. Possibility of take away. If this review helped you, please give it a like

Ok fast food lunch. You get what you pay for and this is quick and easy when this is what you look for. If you want good sushi I wouldn’t recommend this place.

It is situated 2min from Moorgate train station. I had Vegeterian Thai Stir Fry Crystal Udon Noodles. It was amazing. The picture is nothing as compared to its real taste. Quantity was enough if one wants to have a 'light meal'. Very yummy! Could enjoy every bit of it and didn't realise how it got finished so quickly. Also, everywhere in this food joint, various sauces/dressings etc are kept. The menu was terrific. Would go there many times to try all its dishes. It was not very expensive but normally priced.

I love having good food and people watching - it's a great space to watch the world goes by or running (it's central London afterall) Itsu has a good selection of dishes they offer, and I'm sure you can find something that can tempt your taste buds, they have hot food as well- so, there are more food I haven't tried.

Poor hygiene - got served with a ‘no meat Monday salad’ with maggot! Very disturbing :( Not having Itsu salads anymore!

I work local - 2nd visit in 10 days - never again. unhelpful staff, there was a mess up with my order number and I could see it had been sitting on the counter a while, asked for a fresh one. They placed near the kitchen, waited a few minutes and then tried to give it back to me as fresh. Today my rice was cold couldn't be bothered to complain. Just won't go back.

Choose the katsu curry but it looked nothing like the photo on the menu, pointed this out to the server who just shrugged and said "so it wasn't what you wanted?" No alternative offered. Disappointed.

Was a regular here, but sad to see today they replaced the friendly counter staff with self-service kiosk screens. Like lots of people nearby, I spend most of my working day on a computer. I don't want to deal with one when I step out for lunch, especially when the touchscreen doesn't work well. Will be going elsewhere in future.

Came to this branch after ages. Normally very busy but post-pandemic with most people still working at home, it was very quiet. I was having an afternoon low moment and needed a healthy pick me up! Had the fruit' cup which was perfect and healthy! Not cheap but fruit never is. Fresh and nice and what I needed. Service was pleasant and friendly. Huge branch. Relatively clean. Good range of sushi, salads, hot food, snacks and more.

Always a good shout for speedy sushi on the go.

Itsu is the best place to have sushi I've almost visited most of the itsus in London

The more expensive of the take out sushi/bento chains. Good range of sushi and bento boxes as well as hot meals. The decor and atmosphere is nice and the staff are quick to serve and helpful.

Quick, delicious lunch. Overpriced as most things in the Moorgate area are, but to be expected.

Good portions of healthy food. When eating in the restaurant good wide bowls are provided. If you take away though the pots are not wide enough at the top to easily eat hence the mark down of one star

Good clean fun. Sushi, dragon rolls, hot noodly soup for the winter lunchbreaks. All the teriyaki sauce you can drink.

Looked for a while for some healthy food. This restaurant well hit the mark and provided some of the best sushi and salad that ive ever tasted. Couple the awesome food with the amazing price then I cannor complain. The portion size and prize were unbelievably cheap compared to what we expect in Central Scotland.

I was going to visit Itsu on City Rd for the first time....and they have Teriyaki chicken....yummy, but it was rise with it, I can't eat rise, and ask if the can swoop to noodles.....they asked the kitchen....but they said no....so the first impression was not the best.....rather go somewhere else where people are more flexible.

The teriyaki sauce doesn't really pop. For a quick lunch it's fine.

Great if you love sushi or Japanese food

A really nice and comfortable fast food sushi restaurant. I like this branch as it relatively wide and plenty sits, indoors and outdoors. Wide verity of sushi dishes. The stuff are working really fast and efficient, so even in the rush hour the queue is running pretty quickly. The location is just next to the Finsbury square, so in a nice day you can have your lunch on the grass. Enjoy :)

I thought this place is another typical lunch to go sushi place, but I discovered they have kitchen as well. I’ve ordered chilli chicken udon noodles. It was really, really good - full of flavours, with good amount of chicken and some green veggies. I paid £6.99 which is great value for money. For price conscious customers I suggest to visit them 30 minutes before closing as they mark all sushi dishes by half (apparently it’s very popular and they have queues on daily basis).

Really nice, healthy food however it is pretty expensive. Staff are really friendly too. A good thing to know is that everything fresh is half price each day after 8pm (sometimes 8.30)

With a difference on the high Street ITSU offers freshly prepared hot and cold food and drinks. Really busy on this sunny lunchtime the staff were coping well with many orders and take outs. Food seems healthy and varied - I had the udon chicken noodle meal served hot in a pot. Tasty and fresh but best not to eat wearing a shirt and tie! Will try another dish next time, but would recommend.

Good sushi but I do feel it is overpriced.

Bought a veggie rice bowl from one of the branches and I can say that this is by far one of the worst Asian dishes I have ever tasted. Half way through I started to notice that the rice was not cooked all the way through as it should be and it was crunchy as rice shouldn't be. I do not recommend this place to any first time goers as this was my first and most certainly my last visit. I am so disappointed and my lunch has been ruined, to make matters worse their meals are not cheap also. I would leave 0 stars if it allowed me too.

Decent place to grab a quick bite for lunch. It's very crowded during weekday lunch hour. They have a variety of different options. Thai noodles were good.

Fast and friendly service with fresh healthy food.

Sauce, chicken and veg was really nice but let down by completely overcooked and hard rice - shouldn't be crunchy and chewy. Chicken and spring onion gyozos kept under a heat lamp - no flavour, hard around the edges and looked lifeless. Fairly expensive for what seems to be a pre-made microwaved food affair.

Tried Thai bbq chicken with brown rice. Generous portion and the Thai sauce was yummy.

Nice, fresh and tasty rice and noodle bowls. First time here so my wife, two children and myself made sure to choose a different meal each so we could try several of their dishes, and all our bowls were lovely. Only downgraded to 4 stars as we'd of liked to see a slightly wider selection of sushi.

I can't get enough of Itsu's gorgeous food. Korean BBQ chicken a favourite. All fresh ingredients. Made in house. Have never had a bad experience in any of their stores. Don't miss the chance to eat here when visiting.

I was in London for the week and got to admit I ate at itsu everyday of the week. As recently turned vegan I really enjoyed their vegan health conscious offerings. It can be a little expensive for a day to day lunch but so are most lunch offerings in Central London, a drink, soup and main was just under a tenner but the food was light and nutritious. They did accidentally serve me the meat option one day but this was quickly corrected. Looking fwd to grabbing the miso soup again 😊

I've only recently discovered ITSU, but since heading out east centre of London, the standard is nothing like the western equivalents. It wasn't as if the place was busy. A) the soup I'd ordered was tepid. I like hot food, and this pot was as hot as I would expect it to be when I'd nearly finished it. They did provide a fresh, hot one when I complained. B) The soup I ordered was ****** Noodle soup. You fill in the blanks. See photos and if you can identify the meat correctly, you can.give yourself a pat on the back. They assured me it was what it was advertised as. Answers on a postcard to the Meat and Livestock Commission. Hint: It's not squid. Nor Poodle.

Good and fresh food, never disappoints. Tends to be super crowded in peak hours and the facility is not ready to handle the demand.

I found a hair in my teriyaki, had to return it. No apology, nothing. Just lame explanation, without even looking "it's not a hair just a piece of vegetable". Seriously? I guess she had answer prepared for everything. Never again

Si estas en Londres y te apetece comida japonesa, ITSU es la cadena que te ofrece mejor calidad a un precio razonable. If you are in London and you are looking foward to eat Japanese food, ITSU is the option.

I love sushi, which means I have eaten sushi thousands of times, and I have lived in Japan for a year. In British, I definitely sure Itsu is better than Wasabi. Also, there were wasabi in sushi already and pickled ginger(sushi gari, 寿司がり), I loved it.

Food looks good but didn't deliver. Fresh but very bland. Didn't live up to their reputation. I was most disappointed about the gyoza dumplings in my box. I wouldn't try again unless the next time was free.

Expensive sadly, but a good selection of Japanese cuisine. The establishment was well presented and decor was good. Serving staff took the time to explain and recommend choices. GF and veggie options both available but could be a bit limited. Outdoor seating was availiable I think but rather chilly. Would suspect it's a popular and good outdoors venue in summer

Here for a busy lunch. Really tasty filling soup and what made this excellent was the superbly trained and managed staff. They were smiling throughout a busy lunchtime shift, and made sure the customers got their food quickly. And once the lunchtime rush was done, they refilled the display and cleaned up the tables in the restaurant. I'm already a big itsu fan but I thought this one was special. Itsu was set up by the guy who founded pret. Real attention to detail and my goto restaurant for lunch when in London
