The people are the best I have been to places all around the world and I have never seen and eat at such a good sushi restaurant

The service at the counter on Wednesday evening was fantastic. Great to see smiling faces and getting served efficiently . The food however has taken a downfall. Not the nice coconut chicken soup I’m used to. Chicken teriyaki was very bland and boring.

Itsu is the easiest way to eat rice in London!

I always buy the Famous Coconut Chicken Soup, but have now been very disappointed with the fact that the portions are coming much smaller than usually. I suggest they adopt a pattern when preparing the meals. Update of the review: I went back to Itsu and was served by MUNSHI. He dealt with the situation really well and made me feel satisfied with the level of services and quality of the food! Well done!

Factory type food. The toilet was out of order.

A restaurant that looks like a Japanese one is a restaurant that doesn't have toilets. Fortunately it’s not a restaurant that gives you gastro 😂 Beyond this famous Chinese puzzle, it helps out well and it's light.

Gets really busy, but the food is great and the service was very friendly so can understand why. There's minimal seating upstairs and lots of seating downstairs which is great.

I had to wait for my hot food for a long time as there was only 1 person serving whilst also making the hot food. The tables were really dirty and sticky ...

I went in today and noticed the fridge is almost empty by noon, which is frustrating when you're there for a lunch break and there's barely any variety. What a letdown.

We liked this brand very much. We ate here often after that. It is a perfect value for money place, a healthy fast food place where you get your money's worth.

Today I went to Itsu bought a famous coconut soup, because I’m obsessed for that dish , the guy gave me a dry and kind of risotto rice, the chicken was very salted , no soup all . I was so dissatisfied and disappointed , off course make a complaint politely, he was rude and disrespectful. It’s not about the money guy , it’s about respect of the customer! Shame

Just across the Covent Garden tube station, good food, eat in downstairs.

They don't have tap water within reach like in most places, you have to ask the cashier. The bathrooms didn't work 😡 You didn't have seeds to add to your meals. The food ok.

Clean place, normal prices, I recommend it for a quick lunch.

Tables are dirty even though the place is almost empty

I work in the area and frequently come to Itsu for lunch, the main reason I visit is because of the wonderful and friendly service I experience from the staff, specifically Ahmed who is always provides exceptional service. He goes the extra mile and is always on hand to help with any of my queries. His warm and pleasant demeanour always brings me back to visit Itsu neal street.

Honestly… I do not know what to say. Other I feel at a loss for words on the incredible service I received from Ahmed sahal in the itsu Covent Garden store today. This staff member had restored my faith in the brand , I had a bad experience a couple of weeks ago in St Pancras with old avocado in my meal. Not only did his apology for my bad experience feel compassionate , but he made every step to ensure this quality issue was not the case here and followed up with contacting the branch in question to improve thier standards. I mean it doesn’t get any better than that. somebody promote this man. The store was spotless , saw him tidying away afte careless customers while still maintaining a genuine smile. Delicious fresh food at the branch - I’ll be coming back for sure , thank you Ahmed !

I come to Neal street Itsu a lot, bacause I work around the corner. And I have to say that Ahmed is my favourite staff member, always cheerful and provides exceptional customer service. I always leave with a smile:)

Questo ristorante è ubicato su due livelli, al piano superiore è possibile ordinare e pagare mentre al piano inferiore è possibile consumare. Nelle vetrine refrigerate ci sono già pronte diverse box composte da sushi, verdure, preparazioni vegetariane e tante altre squisitezze giapponesi. Alla cassa ho trovato due ragazze gentilissime che con calma e pazienza mi hanno fatto scegliere la pietanza più adatta ai miei gusti. Per me ho ordinato delle polpettine vegane calde accompagnate da verdurine di vario tipo, a dir poco deliziose. Nella sala da pranzo sono disponibili salse come la soia o la teriyaki, e posate in cartone, inoltre; i tavoli sono dotati di potte usb per caricare tutti i nostri dispositivi. Per accedere al bagno è necessario adoperare il codice stampato sullo scontrino, questa è l'unica pecca che mi sento di segnalare, ho trovato i servizi igienici veramente sporchi, ma questo ovviamente dipende anche dal buon senso dei clienti. Consiglio assolutamente una sosta golosa da Itsu. Mi auguro che questa mia recensione possa essere utile per te. Grazie per aver letto.

Nice place, good food, the downstairs seating is snazzy

Ok this is my new fave Itsu location! Ahmed and Dia are SOOOO friendly and knowledgeable about the entire menu!

I got some chicken low warm salad for lunch. It used to be mostly greens and chicken in a yummy sauce. I chose it because i need to keep a low-carb diet. Now, half the portion is brown rice, so I couldn't eat it, nor would I want to. Very disappointing.

The eating area is underground and not staffed, it felt a little claustrophobic, but the food and prices were great. Get the code or the receipt for the toilets or you'll have to go back upstairs to ask for it!!

Everything was ok for the price point except for the Thai chicken rice bowl that we ordered. There were lumps of salt that ended up on my poor tongue. Seriously Itsu, why so salty?! Needless to say, I threw 99% of it away in the trash can where it rightfully belongs.

This itsu is outstanding due to one particular person who ever since working here has helped and blessed customers. Her name is Gosia and she is constantly looking at how she can make the queues more efficient and better serve the customers. A month after buying my sushi, I had not seen Gosia but when I went back she remembered who I was and that I had an Itsu card and the items I ordered last time. Well done ITSU on employing such amazing people look after the customers.

The food was excellent and fast. Are way too much, but no regrets. Service us fast food style. Seating was shared tables. Noisy.

Fantastic customer service! We were quite new to Itsu and Maruf talked us through the menu. We loved our food and we will definitely return! Friendly, clean, nice decor & delicious food!

The sushi was good for the (low) price but I've definitely had better. One staff member was really short and unpolite, but the other one was kind enough. But it's very convenient (fast), you can charge your phone and the dining area is quite cosy.

I went to Itsu again today, and overall, it was a good experience. The amount of food choices was large, and most things were out on the shelves. There was quite a lot of people, but I came at a busy time, and only waited around 5 minutes. The food itself was delicious, I really enjoyed my sushi, and the salad was good aswell. I would definitely eat here again. The only things were the prices were a little higher than other shops, e.g wasabi, but the quality of food did make up for it. The tables were a bit sticky, and it would have been nice, if they wiped them a little more often. Other than that, I think it was extremely enjoyable experience, and I would definitely come back and eat here again.

Very good sushi for a good price

Sushi economico per un pranzo veloce a Londra. Si può mangiare all'interno (con qualche sterlina in più) così da prendere una pausa opp portare le varie vaschette fuori e mangiarle dove si vuole. Nelle confezioni escono salse di soia e wasabi.. bisogna prendere posate o bacchette..

Fast, unique and quite good. Very good option if you don’t have a lot of time.

Toilets out of order and didn't call out when soup ready

Had a great time but shame the toilets were broken.

Frequent customer. Can comfortably say the service is top quality. The staff are phenomenal. One in particular Ahmed, always has the time of day to help you choose the best meal or snack. And food quality is always excellent.

Food tasted quite nice but loads of E numbers. Lots of seating places downstairs - bar like - but we did not see surfaces being wiped once. Two toilets, each for men and women, one out of order, and the one that was working was exceptionally dirty.

Quick service from moment of ordering on machine

We switched to itsu take-away boxes dinner as restaurants were too crowded on Friday night. The half price deal after 8:30 was amazing! I got an extra box for free before closing! Thanks Arif, friendly itsu staff :-)

Food from Itsu is always great... this particular experience however was sub-par - we arrived 1 hour before closing, and the downstairs seated area and bathroom were closed. We found a spot to sit with our daughter, and towards the latter end of the meal were swarmed off of our seats by other patrons. Also the stock was limited.

Arrived as restaurant was closing on Sunday evening. Manager was having a nightmare as people kept piling in and complaining as only take away left. He stayed friendly and professional. We had someone in a wheel chair and he looked after us.

24.11.11 ordered veggie meatballs coconut which is a soup, ,,, overfilled with rice, supposed to be soup, when I asked the manager is this supposed to be soup; he got very defensive & never gave an answer, came up with the old trick and alleged I was getting aggressive, a question is not aggression its a question - but gave no answer as to whether it was soup

Arif was so friendly and helpful. Really went above and beyond to make a nice experience not just for me but for everyone in the shop. I’ll definitely be coming back. Great food too.

Wouldn't call their noodle soups Japanese, or nice for that matter. And their sushi is dry, basic and boring. I have no idea why this chain gets so popular. There are so many other delicious places for the same price.
