Really good cafe food. Arrived hot, well cooked and tasted great.

Although the food wasn't full of flavour, the service was and I love their kind smiles!

Lovely little spot tucked away in a nook, unassuming but so very lovely! Full of light and good vibes. We ordered omelettes and oat flat whites and both were amazing - Get the spicy sauce as well, it paired wonderfully with the food.

So glad we discovered this cute little place when looking for brunch! The menu is extensive, well priced, portions are good and food tastes good. Service was also lovely :)

I had a terrible experience at ITJL (next to the station). When I arrived to collect my order, the staff simply walked out of the restaurant without informing me of the situation—an incredibly disrespectful way to treat a customer. When I asked what was going on, instead of addressing me directly, they spoke to each other in their own language, which I found extremely rude and unprofessional. To make matters worse, when I later asked for their names to report the issue, they deliberately gave me fake names. This level of dishonesty is completely unacceptable for a customer-facing business. Poor customer service like this should not be tolerated, and I would not recommend this place to anyone who values respectful and professional treatment.

Really lovely cafe with a varied and surprising menu. Top marks for welcoming service and quality of food. Lovely to find such a place in the bleakness of the new Colindale developments. Will definitely revisit, and thanks to our waitress Asheena!

I've been a regular since this cafe opened, & I was very supportive of this cafe during COVID & LOCKDOWN since it was the only eatery operating in the area, but my tonights experience was extremely awful. I'm not sure if it's under new management or they've employed rude & unprofessional staff. I walked in this evening, to order a meal but as my phone battery was dying I asked the lady behind the counter, if I can charge my phone as I wanted to transfer fund's, she gladly obliged, she then asked me if I would like to order, I did say I would if she could give me 5mins while I waited till my phone charged as I wanted to make sure I wanted to make sure I had the funds to pay. Now, every time I've walked in to this cafe I've always paid after I've had a meal or a drink (coffee or shakes), while I was waiting I noticed a few tables came in ordered, had their meal & paid after they ate. When I got my phone back & placed my order, the lady behind the counter, said "NO YOU HAVE TO PAY FIRST", I questioned why as I said a few ppl paid after they ate & there was a table with a guy eating, she then went on to say "oh they're our regulars we know them we don't know you" I was very bemused with here attitude & service & asked again, why would you want me to pay first & can't be treated fairly like the rest, she then went on to say "my boss said so" , I asked her what was the bosses problem with me & if I could speak to them, she then went on to call him & when I spoke to him, (he wasn't even in the cafe) he went on to say " yeh I've been watching you on CCTV you're pacing up & down (which I wasn't) & that I was being rude to the staff!!" I was absolutely gob smacked, & then asked the staff if I was rude to them & the lady said no I wasn't, I mean the audacity of this guy to call them from where ever he was hiding & refused me service was absolutely DIABOLICAL & VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I've been given a name of the manager/owner of Guldeep Singh, if you're reading this, I'd like to have a chat with you & question you what exactly was the problem, as even YOUR OWN STAFF were confused that you had to call them & try to bully me & shout on the phone that I to PAY FIRST, I mean why I was treated differently from the rest of the customers, who ate first & paid later but you decided to TREAT ME DIFFERENTLY? I've never caused any problems in your cafe & been nothing but supportive but treatment tonight as uncalled for & I'm pretty sure , this cafe is under new management as I've been treated like this ever! MR GULDEEP SINGH, rather than hiding id like to chat to you face to face & question your issue with me. I'll await your response & if you're in this week let me know so I can see you face to face

The breakfast at ITJL was excellent! I had the grilled avocado chicken and it was fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and quick. A great spot for a healthy start to the day!

I wish I could give zero stars for our experience here. My friends and I, a diverse group, were shocked by how we were treated when we visited. When we arrived, we were told they were cleaning and could only do takeaway orders—no dine-in option. Disappointed, we left, but as we were walking out, we saw a group of elderly white women arrive. To our surprise, they were allowed to sit down and were offered full service, despite the same ‘cleaning’ excuse we’d just been given. It was a blatant display of discrimination, and we felt singled out and unwelcome because of our background. This experience was not only disappointing but deeply upsetting. No one should feel like they’re treated differently based on their race. We won’t be returning, and I’d urge others to reconsider supporting a place that would treat customers this way.

Went here this morning. And i was greeted warm welcome. I've been coming here since 2 to 3 yrs ago. I think quality is changing. Pancakes was really nice before this morning not so good..i always knew the difference because i used to take pics of their foods each time i ate here.

I am deeply disappointed by the experience I had at this establishment. Upon entering, my group was told that they were “cleaning” and could only process take-away orders. However, after being refused service, we saw other customers—who appeared to be of a different race—walk in and were immediately offered seats and received far better service. This was both frustrating and disheartening, especially since this was the first time in three years we've encountered such blatant racial discrimination at this restaurant. It's a shame that such an experience overshadowed what used to be a place we enjoyed visiting.

This is our local breakfast spot, we absolutely love it! The service and food is excellent! Especially Sachleen Kour, she knows our orders and brings coffee ready when she sees us! I 100% recommend this place 😊

Came with a friend and it was amazing. I’ve been craving for a juicy burger and I have finally gotten what I have been dreaming about. The burger had a juicy patty with all the veg that you need. It was absolutely delicious. I normally get disappointed by curly fries in other places, but this was so crispy and delicious. Would definitely come again and would recommend to anyone who is looking for a quick bite. A lot of their menu items are also halal which is a plus! My friend had the halal beef lasagne which was also very good. Would recommend to visit!

One of the best things in North West London great food prices and service! Sanchleen is the best server really caring and kind! Rare gem we must protect at all costs great portions lovely staff. Food is tasty, well priced, coffee comes from a machine and banana bread used to come with cream rather than Nutella but still tasted good. Used to do student discounts and meal deals have increased from £4.99 to 6.49 but prices are still really cheap with no service charge. Beef lasagne is also really good

Unfortunately after the recent ownership change the quality has dropped off a cliff. Old fries (with a hair!) and undercooked spinach burger served. Boxes are no longer marked to indicate what is what so you have to guess which is the vegetarian option. Ordered a frappe and they got confused and made a cappuccino. Told them this isn't a frappe and they went back and forth between themselves. Put the hot cappuccino in a blender with some ice and served that as a frappe. Which was warm...

We used to go to ITJL frequently, We love the food and services there. We went for dinner tonight but we did not notice that their lunch special menu is changed. We ordered lunch special with coffee as usual. When we checked the bill, we were told that coffee was not included. However, we were disappointed that the staff did not tell us that only soft drink is included and there are extra cost for coffee. We knew that we did not check the menu carefully, but a bit gutted with the service. Maybe all excellent service staff went to Colindale Library branch.

I’ve been in London for 2 months to work as manager for a summer camp. The restaurant did the cateering for us and we were all so happy to eat their specialties. Sarah is really kind. Even when se was super busy, she listened to our requests and make our students’wishes come true. 100% recommended!

Always judge a place by their sausages and they were amazing! We also ordered Frappes which were absolutely perfect 👌 they even put a ‘good morning’ message on the box which was so cute ! Definitely coming back and would recommend!

Huge variety of great tasting foods, amazing pricing and great, quick service. Have been here multiple times both dining in and take away. and get something new each time, always bangs. The fresh lemonade is a must try!

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE OWNER who made empty promises. Started a coffee card before the promotion ended 2 months ago- kept going because staff promised I can finish the card. Then today the owner simply refused with a dismissing attitude. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED at the attitude and service. Honestly I think it’s such a petty thing too but it reflected the stingy management of a restaurant itself. Would never come back.
