We recently celebrated our staff Christmas dinner here, and I must say, it was an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! Lots to choose from on the menu for meat eaters, veggie and vegan and the portions were generous, to say the least! Each dish was bursting with authentic flavour. Our group had diverse tastes, and yet, everyone found something to love on the menu. Whether it was the perfectly cooked pasta, steak or pizzas. What truly stood out, apart from the delicious food, was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, and their genuine smiles added to the overall positive experience.

Ordered food on deliveroo after it not being delivered I was told they didn't have one of the dishes and that they attempted to call which they hadn't..they won't cancel the order and neither will deliveroo as the restaurant is still saying order in being made which isn't the case at all, so I have no food and nearly £40 not being returned

We had Christmas Dinner here which was just fantastic and £26 for a 3 course meal was amazing value for money. The quality of food was excellent, and the newly licenced bar and quality of service made this a great overall experience for myself and our family. We will definitely be back and would recommend it to anyone who loves their Italian food

Don't go near, it's not Italian, starter meatballs were cold and out a tin by the taste of them and it was never Italian sausage on my pizza, looked more like dog food. Not even going to explain my wifes, place was freezing and waitress marked order on menu no writing pad. Tables with pictures of food and cheap napkins. I generally would have walked out at first site but velvet sparrow was busy and I like to try support local businesses but this shouldn't even be trading. Avoid and go to battlefield rest if looking for proper Italian Restaurant. I think if you look at your booking you'll see myself and my wife were in around 7.30pm and only 1 other couple in. I can post my bill if you like. Maybe take some account of what was served that evening. I assume you've taken over from original owners. I hope you do well.

came for dinner tonight, the food was delicious very tasty have a very good chef. The Italian boy serving was very helpful and friendly I had a great experience I’d go back

Visited this restaurant with my family, the staff were very friendly and helpful it’s a very nice environment and not to mention how amazing the food was not one of us were left disappointed i highly recommend a visit to here if you enjoy Italian food. The boy running the place also spoke Italian which my son loved hearing as he is learning Italian at school right now so was a very good experience all round😀

My fave Italian. Loved their pizzas - Cajun chicken, and BBQ chicken pizza wasn't overly sweet like most. Chicken wings and loaded fries were also very tasty. 😋 This was my 3rd visit and I had a pasta dish. I was in two minds about it as their pizzas are so good that I didn't want to be disappointed - and I wasn't! I had the Cajun chicken pasta and it was perfect, and I tried a bit of their Gucci Mac cheese and it's by far the best ever! I'm not a big fan of Mac cheese but this was so cheesy and creamy, definitely Gucci, out of this world! 🤤 The only thing I would like them to add is a decaffeinated tea option as the only decaffeinated teas are herbal and fruit teas which I don't like, and their ordinary tea is a bit bitter, hence the 4 stars below. But everything else is perfect. The staff are friendly and attentive. Sahil is a good waiter, and huge compliments to the chef. Well done, team!👌

This delivery arrived super quickly - thanks to the delivery guy and to whoever we spoke to at the restaurant for going out of their way to get it to us nice and hot. Would recommend the vegan Cajun chicken pasta 👌

Had a delivery from here last night. First time I’ve used them. Food was amazing. Arrived hot. The spaghetti and mussels were cooked perfectly. The cream sauce was incredible. Would definitely order from here again

I recently had my 3rd carry out in the last few months or so from this restaurant. The food was excellent, really good value and the young man who takes the orders couldn’t have been more helpful in explaining the different deals available. I thoroughly recommend that you give it a try.

Went here with my wife for our anniversary for the first time . We have been to Italy more then 10 times and we had the same felling eating in Italy. Have to say best italian restaurant we have been too. Definitely we will be back and say to our friends too. The food was amazing and service was really quick too. The staff were super friendly too. In the end the Waiter Said Ciao to us and we recognise that he was italian and we talk in italian with him and said few sentence too which feel me think that we are in italy. Highly Recommended this place

Came Friday night for dinner and ask the waiter for allergy advice for my husband before ordering and he was knowledgeable and accommodating. Lovely food and great staff, manager goes above and beyond , thank you very much for the lovely food and fab service 10 out of 10

Excellent service and food . The pizza was cooked to perfection... no soggy centre. Minestrone soup also excellent. Friendly and efficient table service .

I ordered pasta for takeaway and the pasta was exceptional delivery was fast as well!!

Went tonight two of us for the first time it was very quiet but it has no license for alcohol so I went across the road and got a bottle of wine and no corkage charge,for starters i had the minestrone and my partner had chicken goujons both superb and piping hot the main courses we asked to hold back because the starters were so large main courses both excellent but so much we couldn’t finish and the staff especially the (Boy)that’s what he said to call him by were excellent and we will be back

We used to get our delivery from another restaurant and decided one night to try here and never looked back. Food is always delicious, cooked fresh and arrives super quick. I ordered on just eat once and accidentally to the wrong address, I called up and the guy couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. Even with that mishap our meal still arrived fast despite the wrong address and correct one being miles apart. I’ll definitely keep using this restaurant because Compared to other places I don’t think I’d get the same service and quality of food.

Service and Atmosphere was excellent the ambiance was Good, but food was tasteless as well as not the authentic Italian food like the name of the restaurant could be even better. Need to work on their recipes.

Been here twice and can't recommend highly enough, good helpings, the food is delicious and the staff couldn't do enough for you, and very very reasonably priced as well, there is no reason not to go here so get down to the Italian restaurant, you won't be disappointed! We will be back again very soon!

A must if you enjoy good Italian food. Had the spaghetti aglio olio. Absolutely delicious as were the olives which were the best we have ever tasted. Had the creamy spinach risotto which was really nice. Highly recommend. Great value and lovely staff.

Had a lovely meal here with my friend. We both enjoyed the minestrone and the spaghetti and prawns was delicious. Good service. Background music could be a bit quieter.

Four of us had dinner on Friday there. Great food, great value and we weren't rushed either. The music was a wee bit loud at first but once it was turned down it was perfect. Totally recommended and we look forward to going back. Grazie, grazie :)

Outstanding, we were looking across the southside of Glasgow on google for an Italian to drop in and takeaway. We decided to go to this Italian Restaurant Glasgow because of the 5 star reviews and done takeaway. I'm glad we did the best Italian pasta I have ever had!! My dish was the Penne Chicken Contadina very creamy and flavourful and the pasta is cooked perfectly, my partner got Pasta D'Amore and she absolutely adored it, as did I. If you like a little spice go for the Pasta D'Amore it will not disappoint. I wanted to specifically say about the chicken as I have been really weird with chicken for the past couple of years and the chicken in here in both dishes is the best tasting, textured and flavourful chicken I have had in a very long time. Massive thank you for the hospitality of the front of house guy very attentive and got cutlery for us to eat outside as the weather was lovely. I nearly forgot we got the mozzarella sticks and ciabatta garlic bread also can't fault them. I wish we took photos but the smell and look of them took our attention away from our phones and had to dive in. Highly recommend this little Italian place.

Dined here with my partner on Monday evening and we ate outside as there is a few tables outside and the weather was so good so we enjoyed our bbq chicken pizza and chicken pasta in the blazing sun 😎🔥 Food was really good and tasted bang on point, loved the rosemary potatoes aswell. We will be back and thanks for the friendly service
