Italian Express in Warrington

Its been few times ı have tried difffrent fooods and all is delicious . they are so friendly and helpful . I would like to recommend this please to everyone 🙏🙏🙏

Super disappointed. Me and my husband haven’t eaten here for around 5 years and thought we would give it another try. We ordered 2 pizzas and some chips and it was honestly rubbish. No flavour, greasy, hard base, chips were SO dry and rigid. My husband called and other than offering discount off our next order (HAHA WE WONT BE BACK) the manager didn’t care or seem apologetic at all. Awful food and poor service. Never eating here again. Plenty of other choice that’s the same money with much better flavour. 1/10.

Ordered via their app, waited 90 mins to ring to be told the order was on the way. Waited another 30 mins to then be told they couldn’t find my order, I asked if the previous person who I’d spoken to had lied to be told they couldn’t be sure as they’d “left the shop”. I asked for a refund to be told this couldn’t be refunded to my card via the app and they’d have to send the cash via a driver, but aren’t able to also send the food at the same time. No manager on shift to speak to either. Utter rubbish, won’t be ordering or recommending, and also still waiting for the cash to arrive with the “driver”

Carbonara was tasteless, simple safe dish to go for, bland and dry, bacon looks like it’s been cooked on a radiator, No sauce. My wings.. plane wings with bbq sauce drizzled over a couple, taste like plain chicken. All round disappointment. Won’t be going again. Waited over an hour for it to arrive. Nothing Italian or express about this place. Genuinely shocked how someone would ever go back.

Good food, everyone happy, family of 7 fussy eaters all catered for! Staf were really friendly and helpful and we had a great meal.

We ordered as we’ve ordered from here in the past. It has massively gone down hill. The pasta was tasteless and cold. We had the season it ourselves. The pizza was raw in the middle and we had to finish it off in our oven. Absolutely appalling. There was hardly no sauce on the pizza and had to pay £3 for extra toppings which were sparse to say the least!! Do not bother save your money. Would be 0 stars if that was possible

Disappointed with the restaurant usually spot on but tonight shocking after an hour we phoned up they told us our food went out 15 minutes ago. Food arrived one hour and 45 minutes after we ordered it. When it arrived I asked the driver to wait while I checked it he ran off to his car. Food was stone cold I sent it back with a hungry family

Ordered two pasta dishes which both smelt and taste of cheese (none of the dishes contained cheese). When ringing to re-order the staff were huffing and puffing and tried to re-charge me for a new dish. The staff over the phone were rude, ignorant and had a really nasty attitude. Delivery was on time Food was hardly warm Wrong food sent Was told I would get a phone call off the manager which you would assume would be a call back straight away with a apology and a refund, had to ring them to ask where my phone call was and they said it could be tomorrow before I get a call back. Not good enough I’ve paid for something I have not received I want a call back and refund straight away not 24 hours later!

Ordered here for the first time for my wife’s lockdown birthday tea and we were really happy with the quality of the food, we both ordered a pasta dish, side salad and cheesy garlic bread. The food was warm and of a really high calibre for a takeaway, we’ll definitely be coming back!

We've had takeaways from here loads of times and they've always been excellent. However this time we were very disappointed. My husband collected our order at the time specified, having phoned it through and came straight home with it - a 5 minute drive. The spare ribs were overcooked and chewy with hardly any sauce and barely warm and the main pasta dish was much the same. Has there been a change of chef?

Our favourite takeaway pizza and pasta. There is an interesting selection of toppings offered. The pasta dishes are good too. Highly recommended

I was bored at home obviously due to covid 19 cant go out so indecide to order food from italian express i had taglatelli and americano pizza it was really tasty and piping hot thanks gusy

Following my negative review, they removed themselves from just eat and then relisted so there are no bad reviews!! Ordered 19/02 through just eat, garlic bread and calzone were cold and we received the wrong pasta. I phoned the restaurant to complain and they said they would deliver a refund after waiting 3 days for the manager to call. We have not received anything and it has been over a week. I called them tonight and they are saying they will not refund us now as we have left a negative (honest) review on just eat. The manager was shouting and arguing with me on the phone. Would not order again and definitely wouldn't reccomend.

The pizza was cold, my wedges were uncooked and hard, the bacon on top of the wedges under cooked and really chewy. Won’t be ordering again.

Not good at all, ordered delivery so I wasn’t expecting oven fresh but this was poor. Chips & garlic bread were literally stone cold. Risotto and pasta wasn’t too bad but nothing to write home about. Won’t be ordering again

Have ordered Dela Casa for delivery, it was delicious for a takeaway, expected to be cold it was perfect.

Just got back off holiday and hubby decided he wanted pasta ,we went ahead ordered there was discount as it was Tuesday delivery was super quick food was amazing fab service

Unsure what's happened to this place, used to be great service. Recently however I've noticed that they just dont give a s**t. 2 hours for a cold pizza and a luke warm lasagna! Drivers excuse was "it's dead busy" no apologies for tardiness. Wont go here again unless they sort themselves out

Food is always nice and hot when delivered.

I have visited here a few times and always had an Italian dish which was fine however on this occasion I decided to order a pizza delivery. The pizza arrived however had chicken not beef on it, I rang to complain and they said they would do a new pizza and quickly enough the new one arrived which was swapped with the old one as requested by them,

Really disappointed, the only good thing was the garlic mushrooms. carbonarra and the risotto where try and bland as if they where microwaved, had to put them in the bin. will try again in the future but won’t be ordering any pasta.

Undercooked chicken wings,The chicken was green also🤢. I ordered garlic prawns and recieved mushrooms in sauce. Yet i ordered prawns? i order from this place alot,but im really not happy today.

I ordered carbonara but it was so oily I had to drain it through a sieve before I could eat it. I would say about a quarter of the meal was oil.

Delivered before estimated time and food hot but penne arribiata was spaghetti and the extra pepperoni for the pasta wasn’t there even though it was on the label! If they could get orders right would be fab!!

They Phoned me after the delivery time was passed, to say food still there no delivery driver available, even though the app, text message and email said it was with the delivery driver! Offered to send it when one came, but stated restaurant closed at 22.00, it was now 22.45, so my food had been sat there all of that time, I phoned them back to say I wanted a refund as it was now getting on for 23.00, the girl said she didn't know how to do one ! No food, no refund and we had toast instead, not happy at all and I want my refund ! Can't rate the food as we didn't get any and wouldn't have given any starts for anything but had to !

Firstly the delivery time was great came very early. But the food was almost inedible, the pasta was so watery and no flavour whatsoever. The only nice thing was the Nutella and marshmallow desert. Waste of money.

Overpriced for what it was, the bacon in the carbonara was very fatty and the arrabiatta hardly had any Parmesan on even though extra was ordered. Slightly disappointed.

Pizza seemed over cooked and dry but taste was average. Pasta overcooked.. potatoes were the best part.

Excellent staff! And service I did a telephone call to place my order they was so polite and very helpful, was very quick service and an amazing delivery driver very polite really deserved my tip! And food was amazing very tasty will be definitely returning to here!

Very poor. I ordered ribs, chips and garlic bread, 2 dips at a cost of £18.70 (inc service charge and delivery). The order came very early but they had forgot the chips. I called and they advised they would send some out but it could be 20-30mins by which time the rest of the food would be cold. They advised I could have credit however this would only apply if I phoned on the next order. The ribs - fatty and in a pool of grease. When my chips finally arrived I returned the ribs as I couldn’t eat them. The chips were bland and ended up being thrown out. The garlic bread was alright but at that point anything would have been. Basically I paid £18.70 for some garlic bread. In all fairness, the lady who took the call and delivered the chips was very understanding and offered a full refund but advised it could be up to 7 days. I would like my refund and it’s unlikely I’d be ordering from here again. They are much pricier than elsewhere and the food standards have massively dropped from what they once were. Only positive was the member of staff who took the call and delivered the food dealt with it well and professionally.

I am so appalled by the service from this Resturant. The Resturant was incredibly rude on the phone and I could hear the woman in the background shouting as I spoke to the manager . the food was ordered at 18.43 and delivered at 21..20 this is completely unacceptable and I would like a free refund of this order. I can’t speak to the Resturant as they are incredibly rude and unwelcoming. please may I have a swift response to this as I would like to escalate this. thanks matt

food came half an hour early and the pasta was hot when it arrived, however the mozzarella sticks were cold and soggy and the carbonara was just full of oil. I couldn’t eat it due to this as very greasey

Delivery was on time by the online quote but we had been told it would be earlier when we phoned. The food arrived cold and the garlic bread was soggy. We had to warm everything up before we could eat and then miss out on eating together. The food itself is getting to be lower in standard with each delivery. Very disappointing.

Food arrived much quicker than estimated. However it wasn’t hot and so had to be re-heated which affected the taste. I also ordered a dip which didn’t arrive. I tweeted Italian express about this but got no response. All in all, a lot more expensive than other pizzas and not worth the extra money.

Worst food and customer service I have ever been given. Food was cold and burnt. Rang resteraunt, they brought more only for the delivery driver to ask for the food back which was in the bin. I offered to give the driver the bag full off food as I wasn't routing through it, with being a receptionist on shift at the time. He rudely just left and drove off. When we eventually got him to come back by contacting the restaurant AGAIN it was soggy, burned and cold! We was then refused a refund. Avoid at all costs !

The food arrived quickly and was piping hot. We had a big order and everything was right. The pasta was authentic and looked amazing. The pizzas were fresh and really lovely! We really enjoyed the macaroni croquettes. Overall a wonderful takeaway, we will definitely order again!

Food was delivered early but that was great as I had asked for it to be delivered ASAP. As usual the food was piping hot and plenty of it. I chose the chicken risotto which was very tasty with plenty of chicken breast. Personally I prefer the pasta dished as the rice had soaked up the sauce too much for my liking. It wasn't the flavour of the dish, it was a matter of personal taste. I haven't had risotto before and thst is probably how it is supposed to be. It went down all the same with little effort...just in future I will go back to the gorgeous pasta dishes. The chocolate fudge cake was also delicious. All washed down with a bottle of Peroni 😊 I have said previously and will repeat it in this review: food from Italian Express is like eating a good restaurant meal in the comfort of your own home.

First time ordering off of a recommendation from a friend. The pizza was delicious, although could of been a little hotter. Profiteroles were lovely also! Would definitely recommend!

Cold and late very disappointed indeed

Ordered the Meatballs and Hot Wings and a couple of Chicken Pasta bakes. The Meatballs were amazing and a meal in itself. Hubby had the hot wings and loved them. Pasta bakes were also lovely but needed chilli and salt. But would still order again! I hope to see a carbonara type sauce in the Chicken pasta bake as i think that would taste better!

The driver apparently forgot an item of my order and I was told to wait for him to collect from restaurant and bring it back to me. Which would have taken at least 40 minutes. I thought this was poor service. However quality of food was good as always.

We ordered from Italian Express a few years ago and it was pretty dreadful so haven't returned. Last night the order was a risk that massively paid off. The food was hot, great packaging, early and tasted amazing. We will be back and so glad they fixed whatever the issues were.

I order £27 of food and they forget the bbq sauce for the chicken strips 😡
