Had a really nice meal to start my birthday celebrations with my family

Visited here around tea time today ,was shown a table straight away then left for at least 15 mins and still no staff came to take our order or offer drinks Plenty staff around too We got up and left disappointed

We got there a few minutes late, but was shown straight to our table. The service was prompt, polite and friendly. The food was very tasty and priced reasonably. Will definitely go back.

Realy enjoyed my birthday with ten pound off as a Treat lovely ask italia Bag as a perk

Delicious food. Very accommodating of food allergies even offering to make a sauce especially for one of the group. Dan our waiter was very friendly and attentive.

One of the better ASK Italians out there. The pizza is well presented with good bread but could do with a touch more sauce. The pasta is similar to the others but the pizza was very high quality considering the other chains quality. Reliable place for a date.

Oh dear what has happened here. Food ok. Service diabolical. Not busy when we were there but took ages for everything to happen. Good only warm but it was the service today that was dreadful

Food was fantastic. Fresh, tasty and came out very quickly. Price is more than reasonable for the quality. The service stood out too. The staff were all friendly and helpful! Particularly Summer who was very accommodating of our little two year old terror. Can’t recommend enough especially if you have children.

Food frozen starters bland left it was disgusting

Came in the other day, was very busy but the two members of staff handled the the busy restaurant very well. The food was amazing and the drinks were good.

I waited in the restaurant for 40 minutes without anyone coming to take my order. During this time, I reminded the staff once or twice, and they kept saying they would be right with me, but they never came. The waitstaff kept passing by and serving others, but they never took my order. People who arrived after me were already getting their orders taken. I seriously suspect that they are discriminating against Asians!

The service was extremely poor. I sat in the restaurant for more than half an hour on Monday evening without being attended . Really disappointed. In the end, no one came to serve me, and I had to leave. It was a very poor experience.

I have ordered food for delivery before from Ask, it used to be lovely. I used to love their courgette fritti, they were just like the picture, this time they gave me the scraps, scrag ends of them. The pizza wasn't cooked properly it was doughy and soggy. I won't be getting anymore deliveries from them, they have lost me as a customer! Waste of money.

The Courgette Fritti, was nothing like I had before, they gave me the end scraps, that you would not even give a dog, nothing like the picture, they used to be lovely, just like the picture. The margarita pizza was doughy hardly cooked. A disappointing 1 star. Don't expect any customer service from Deliveroo either.

Fab, helpful with vegan and gluten free, great food and service fantastic too

We went at 3pm on a Saturday, it was quite quiet but still a few people there. The food was lovely and the service was great. I was heavily pregnant at the time, literally 4 days off giving birth and the waitress was really kind and gave us a table with more room and kept me supplied with plenty of water.

Best kitchen Staff. Food delicious. I didnt wanna stop eating.All great. Highly recommend!!!!

Come for lunch today service was poor considering it was quiet and only 5 tables in ? No check back over food ? If they had I could have told them my burrata was sour ? They cleared our table and could see the meal was pretty much intact . Food pretty poor in general burnt dough balls , over cooked calamari like rubber and the rest of the food was Luke warm . Asked us 3 times about more drinks tho . Asked for our bill and got it with a service charge of £8 nearly £9 I told him to remove it and I left a £9 cash tip . Not very deserved in fairness but I try to be polite . Also ordered the Chicken lecca ? 5 pieces received 3 told the waitress? She took my plate away and I said just remove it from my bill she insisted my two other pieces were ready ? So I accepted that and had it boxed to take away . Such a shame because are visit last time was amazing . Definitely not going to eat there again

Me and my boyfriend visited here this evening for my birthday and we had such a good experience. Our waitress Hayley was so attentive and anccomodating to suit our needs. The service was extremely quick. Our food was lovely and it was such a lovely atmosphere. We will definitely be visiting again in the future :)

Tasty pizza for our Sunday lunch, washed down by a juicy Merlot. Excellent service in pleasant surroundings. We keep coming back for more!

I went with my wife for lunch today. The restaurant was very quiet which affected the atmosphere rating but the service and most importantly the food was very very good.

Nice tasting food portions are small for the money. So if you're after a hearty italian meal, this isn't the place, unfortunately. The he service is pleasant and attentive if needed. Not much of an atmosphere, just a quiet place to eat.

A nice place to eat after a hard day shopping or for a spot of lunch. Good food which you can see being cooked and prepared. There is plenty of choice with good vegetarian and free from options.

over 2hours until the food was delivered when it was stated it would be 35-45mins wrong items arrived, food freezing. never again.

Beautiful food in a fantastic place

It’s a pity that there are such mixed Trip advisor reviews and no one seems to answer / reply from the Ask Group management. We visited on Mother’s Day, pre booked, it was very busy at around 1.30pm, we found the staff very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The whole of the dining experience was excellent, great service, quality food, can’t fault it. The only thing to mention was we were running late, due to traffic and problems parking. We duly contacted the restaurant out of courtesy, to inform them that we would be 10mins late. The member of staff answering our call, stated “ If you do not arrive in the next 5mins, you will have 90mins to vacate your table “ When we we had finished our meals and left the premises at approx 3:30 pm the premises was 90% empty ??? Maybe some staff training is required on customer service by phone.

The food is very good quality and tasty. Reasonable price and the staff with smiling face is a merit. Recommend!

While out shopping in Warrington town centre, we decided to have lunch in Ask Italian. I've not visited this eatery before. Upon entering, the staff were very welcoming and directed us to a nice table. The dining 🍽 area is very well appointed, bright clean, and there's a lively, if not slightly, noisy atmosphere. Our orders were taken promptly. Regarding the food, I had linguini carbonara ,cost around £14, I don't want to be negative about this eatery However, I thought the dish I ate was rather bland, it lacked seasoning, and there was hardly any panchetta in the dish. I wouldn't describe the food as authentic Italian food,as I've recently visited Italy and the food there was on different levels at similar price points. I suppose it's a matter of taste and opinion regarding food. I'm sure many people think the foods are excellent. I personally wouldn't go there again to eat. But regarding the staff and service, it was excellent

Ordered at 7:30 and happy with food being delivered 8:20-8:40. At 8:30 estimated delivery time changed to 8:45-9:00, apparently the food was still being prepared 1 hour after ordering. 9pm delivery time changed again 9:10-9:30! Would I have ordered if it had said this when I first looked...no. At 9:10 finally food was out for delivery, although it still didn't arrive until 9:25. The food was Ok, not that warm but good flavour. Would I order again, no. Online orders are clearly not a priority.

A previous visit was OK, service was painfully slow but we’d received vouchers so decided to give it another go. Really wish we hadn’t. Staff were appalling! Rude, aggresive and didn’t know the difference between a gift voucher and a perk. Told us vouchers didn’t count as money…waving a piece of paper in our faces that stated the opposite to what the waitress was telling us. Asked for a manager and she told us the manager was too busy for us 😂, then claimed she was a manager… Never responded to my complaint via email despite advising they would!

The food is excellent and it is served quite quickly. The service is great. Best calamari and best mayo to go with it. Only down side is price, even though atmosfere, service and food are great, the prices are too high and in some cases, bordeline stealing. £3.50 for a coke ( 330ml ) ??? Same price for a glass of apple juice ??? Also the meals are a bit on the expensive side, don't get me wrong, the food is very good and the quality of the ingredients is great too, but the prices are just over the top. £70 for a meal for 2 people and one child is way too much .

Had a rolled garlic bread with caramelised onions , think they forgot to add garlic it was tasteless , my wife had a bruchetta and had to ask for more cheese on it , my pasta was over done and was crispy on top due to being over heated , the seat we had was in-between two doorways one for toilet and one for takeaways was a cold draught every time someone used the doors . Disappointing visit however the young waitress Summer that served us was a credit to them and should be working at more up class restaurant she was very professional, helpful and very polite 10/10

The food was good but not great, I feel as though mainly the starters were underwhelming. The service was good but a little absent. On a positive note, it's in a great location in the centre of Warrington, so loads of parking.

Lovely food! The mushroom and truffle calzone, and the goats cheese and beetroot gnocchi are 👌🏻. Chips however left much to be desired.

Myself and my partner (who both run restaurants) came here today. Even though we don’t mean for them to, our jobs unfortunately make us very critical (it’s an occupational hazard!) but this place is faultless. The service from John and the young lady with dark hair was amazing. Our food was absolutely beautiful. We’ll definitely be back and couldn’t recommend this place enough. Thank you to the front of house team and kitchen, you made our day

Very friendly service and delicious food. I ordered mushrooms, risotto and chocolate gnocchi, I liked everything.

The waitress was efficient and very pleasant with good advice about the food especially the delicious orange panatoni.

It was freezing cold even though driver was excellent, on time and food was in the thermo bag. Also the pizza, I had to cut I myself, lazy people in the kitchen who can't even cook food for it to be hot.

Food was delicious as always but I ordered 2 portions of chips and one was only half full. A little disappointing from a much loved restaurant.

Really enjoyable meal, good service will go back again

First visit in about ten years as back then, I thought the helpings were very small. There was nothing on this visit to change my opinion. My food tasted fine but for over a tenner, my meal had gone in a few mouthfuls, and I'm not greedy or overweight. My wife could see I had finished and offered me a slice of her pizza, which was dry and tasteless. It was a Saturday evening and I cold see walk-ups getting turned away. We had reserved for 5pm and by 6:20pm we had finished, paid and were obviously getting ready to leave, but one of the staff apologetically asked us to hurry as there was another reservation due for our table. Totally uncalled for, some of us were putting our coats on. Got some chips on the way home.

We visited as a party of 8 on a Saturday night , we had not made a reservation as it was a last minute decision and even though they were very busy we were welcomed and they even pulled together a table for us . The service of the staff was amazing I would definitely recommend this .

Great food as always with some new dishes that are really tasty

Service was very good, food was nothing special. Starters had been a little over cooked and was stuck to the hot plate it came on.

Everyone was fresh and tasted lovley! Only down side was chips could have being cooked a little more as abit soggy.

Food was unseasoned and poor, sadly very bland and tasteless. 1 meal requested extra chilli and it was undetectable had to tell manager who kindly it off the bill. Husbands chips had been cooked with another meal and we gound bits in his. We thought it was scampi the mznager lsughed and ssid fong dorry its zucchini and i will dpeak to the chef ? We have had good meals here before but £100 + a lot to still pay for poor quality, unseasoned food. So we wont return, very disappointed as it was daughters birthday and it spoilt part of our evening!

Live this place. Very friendly, helpful and proffesional staff. Delicious food and a nice looking restaurant in a good location. Me and my missus often pop in for lunch when shopping in warrington. One suggestion, please start stocking a couple of single malts behind the bar for us whisky drinkers. 🥃

Dela casa was so bland harldy no chicken and the sauce was like water. Not put in the oven and the pasta was soggy. Worse meal I've had from a Italian and at £15.50 for a pasta dish think they'd have known how to make a sauce and season...stick to Italian express

Awful food and every tasted of salt.

When we walked into the two third empty restaurant we were told, I'll be with you in a minute by a passing waitress. She never came back. Another woman passed by and vaguely waved us to a table for five in the window while walking past (there were only two of us). Frankly that was just stupid so we went to a table for two instead. The food was ok but not the best of welcomes. Staff your restaurants properly Ask Italian or close them to further guests because that experience was pants.

The staff were lovely and atmosphere good but the food was shocking was without a doubt the worst ask iv ever been to not a patch on Sheffield,scarborough & gateshead the pasta sheets were all stuck together with no sauce on and only got half a plate off tasteless food won't be going back to this one again went to Sheffield the day after & it was lovely food was perfect how it should off been!

I'm going to give this a 1 star purely due to the fact that we were seated pretty much instantly when we walked in. I definitely wouldn't be going here again and I was highly disappointed We informed the staff my partner had a gluten allergy. Typically at a restaurant the manager would come round and talk us through what my partner can eat yet at ASK Italian, they give us what I can only describe as a full notebook of everything - literally no clue how to nativigate it. Just dropped on the table and the member of staff walked off. The food I can only describe as one of the worst meals out that I've ever had. Everything meal I had was microwaved, the bowls were too hot to physically touch and my carbonara I had can only be described as a flavourless gloop. My nduja and cheese balls were obviously microwaved too as they were all stuck to the paper underneath. Really disappointed as this was meant to be an anniversary meal. The fella serving us clearly wasn't interested in being there, didn't seem pleasant at all. I wouldn't bother giving these a visit.

Excellent food delivered hot and on time

Did not book,but they found us a table. Great service from our waitresses. Took on board our likes and dislikes along with any allergies. Food was excellent, well presented. Our evening was a little spoilt by a couple of childten having a very verbal disagreement with Parents leaving the child screaming and crying!!
