Italian Express in Cannock Chase

Ordered from here for years. Except last night my order did not turn up, they have put it has, and now just eat won't refund me! The number doesn't work to call them either! 5pm I ordered its was supposed to come by 6pm never showed. I will not order from these again as now I've just lost £25

Just so everyone knows, contact number on the website is not Italian express as I called wondering where my order was as it has been 1 hour and 25 minutes since I ordered (as I’m writing this) and the number on google does not work. I spent £25 on food and have not received it so I will be trying to get my money back as there is no way for me to get to the store and I can’t contact them

No food has appeared yet, 1.5 hrs after order.

I ordered off Uber eats and it didn't even come. So they charged me and didn't deliver it. Fuming ain't the word

Best pizza place I have ever ordered from! It's gone now. The delivery drivers are rude and they call you to get outside for your order instead of delivering to door!

We ordered delivery and it took over an hour to come as the driver got lost. He gave us an extra pizza however completely forgot our large cheesy chips. My daughter was in tears as that was her tea you carelessly forgot. Nice food but extremely bad service

Just ordered tonight first time. Omg the flavours and fragrance from the kebab meat is out of this world. No grease just pure taste. The hot n spicy pizza is fresh and pure love it. The fries are fresh too. I recommend this as its the only takeaway too to be open to 3am amazing. Ok my personal thoughts, I'd like to see more quantities for the salad and kebab meat and large chips should be in long tray? Other than that keep going your onto a winner. Italian Express 🥇

We always order from Italian Express but not no more, i had food poisoning from the chicken meat as i had a mixed meat n chips, they had burnt the chicken to cover the sour taste but luckily i tasted it before eating it all, they wanted to give me 20% discount on my next order, i want a full refund and wont be ordering again

Ordered from here last night,very disapointing!my sons chicken burger came without the chips we ordered,my partners tripple burger had no cheese or salad on as ordered and the pizza was overcooked and chewy!needles to say we wont be ordering again!

First experience was great, gone right down hill burgers a let down communication a let down food burnt no fresh salad . Missing orders and ingredients,, sadly avoid now at all costs. Cook at home advised.

Just ordered the Mega Burger from Italian express and not impressed. No cheese was on the burger I then found it it was 30p per slice of cheese which would have needed 3 slices, the lettuce is slimy and couldn’t even try to eat it. I phoned up to complain and was just told the” lettuce is made fresh everyday “ which definitely is not the case but no solution was made

As a family we love the food from here spot on everytime

Absolutely delicious, fresh cooked food and delivered really fast... I had 2 piece doner/chicken meal... Chicken better than KFC 🍗👌🏼🌮🍟...will definitely 💯% use again.

Yet another amazing takeaway. Ordered large cos I was feeling hungry, struggled to eat it all. Ordered late, food arrived quickly, great delivery driver who was polite and friendly. Never fails to please.

Placed an online order this evening. We have had many takeaways from Italian Express and they've always been excellent. However, tonight after an hour, our order still hadn't arrived. We rang to find out if it was on it's way and was told the driver had 5 deliveries and he'd be another 10 minutes maximum. After another 15 minutes I rang again and was told he shouldn't be long. I told him I was concerned the food would be cold and I was told I could cancel the order. At that point, the doorbell rang so I told the man on the phone that I'd check to see if it was warm. It was barely warm and certainly not what you'd want from a meal. Based on the fact that I'd been told I could cancel, I refused the order based on the temperature. A few minutes later the man from the takeaway rang me and started shouting that the food was fine. I passed the phone to my husband who explained that we'd always had good food in the past but this time it was cold. The man continued to shout and says he'll never deliver to us again. This is an awful way to handle the situation. We'd have happily ordered again in the future as we know this is not the usual standard. The way that we were spoke to is not professional or acceptable. It's not too much to ask for warm food and polite service.

Best pizza in Rugeley!! Pizza is always fresh and cooked to perfection. Great service and friendly staff.

How disappointing ..I will not order & waste my money here again ... cheesy chips ? Who ordered them? I didn't..the burger was like cardboard & bun was soaking wet .. on the upside my partner kebab was OK but not what we ordered Disappointed!!!

Order a pizza, chips and 1 piece of southern fried chicken. The pizza was very bland and tasteless, on ordering it said u get a free pot of sauce with the chips so i understood that to be separate from the chips but no, it was plastered all over them and the chicken was awful, a drumstick with hardly any chicken in it. I reordered 3 more pieces of chicken and requested breasts (as that’s what we’ve had previously) they came quickly but non were breasts, the were awful again, greasy and slimy and hardly any chicken. We gave most of it to the dog and felt bad that she had to eat it! Will definitely not be ordering from here again as Rugeley kebab house, Henry’s and star burger are by far better!!!!

Did not deliver part of our order, tried to call them but telephone not available!!! Spent over £30 and we are repeat customer. Will think twice in future 😏

ordered food for collection and as i went to pick it up they had closed and lost £36 haven’t had the money sent back when they said it closes at 10pm

Honestly, fed up up with Italian express. On five plus occasions they have accepted the order and then a few minutes later cancelled due to 'delivery drivers becoming unavailable' what a joke. I've had the food before elsewhere and it was okay but the terrible customer service ruins it.

Ordered food when they were open, hrs later they closed and still didn’t deliver food… joke of a kebab shop, should be closed !!!

Wish I could give more stars, This place is the best. The pizzas are by far the best I've ever Had! The staff go above and beyond and deliveries are fast , food arrives hot and the food is amazing. I LOVE THIS PLACE.The boss goes out of his way for every customer.

Date 28/12/21. Order arrived late as driver went to wrong village and when arrived was cold. Upon eating the cold food we noticed the burgers we ordered was all burnt black like charcoal and so was the buns. Salad had gone off to and was brown with rot. Absolutely awful. Will not be ordering from again. Oh and on another note I tried to complain to the chat but that does not work and just repeats a first question.
