Food is not to my liking Had much better Turkish food elsewhere.

Food average. Rice plain white rice no Turkish orzo. Small portions and salad wasn’t great at all. Overpriced for what it is.

Everything was freshly prepared and the staff were very pleasant and friendly

They make really good quality kebabs. The best option around by far.

First time customers after recommendation from friends, we had take away and must say it was delicious, fresh cooked barbecue food , friendly staff and quick service at competitive prices, definitely worth trying.

Amazing place!! Walked in and was greeted with a warm welcome from the incredibly friendly staff and instantly felt welcomed. The place was spotless, not a a speck of dust in sight, and the food was incredible yet so affordable, with a menu with so many delicious options to choose from, I couldn’t get enough!! I even ended up buying more food just to take home for later. It was prepared so well it felt like a home cooked meal rather than a takeaway. Now I have found this gold mine of a restaurant, I can confidently say I will never be going to another kebab place again… BEST kebab shop in Northamptonshire BY FAR!!

Probably the best in the area. Lamb shish quality of meat is very high and Turkish bread rather than pitta is a really good alternative.

The prices are fair, the portion sizes are great and it's a nice place to sit in and watch the world go by. Also the staff are friendly and helpful and the service is great. Today was my second time dining here and I'll definitely be back. Mixed doner is lovely.

More of a takeaway than a restaurant, however Istanbul Turkish BBQ does serve amazing, authentic Turkish bbq food. All cooked fresh on charcoal in front of you. Great food… you should try!

Great fresh food and great hospitality. One of the best bbq grills I’ve been to for value taste and quality. They do a range of meat dishes incl with rice, chips or bread/wrap/pitta They also do vegetarian options Loverly people, will be back again soon! Thanks for the extra red cabbage 👍🏻😊

Ordered my first takeaway from Istanbul BBQ and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was satisfied with the portions, taste of the food, fresh salad and overall customer service.

I thought I'd try a different kebab house. Same tasting products as others just a 1 pound cheaper. Went at 5 pm. And was just picking up with customers.

Whilst the prices of the food is cheap, some of this refelected in what you eat. Had a take away of the shish kebabs which I was so looking forwad to eating but found them dry. Not sure if I will try again.

So during the hottest day of the year so far The Mad Alexander's took a visit to review Istanbul Turkish BBQ in Cannon Street in Wellingborough but we did not come once but twice !!! The first time, myself and my wife came in and ordered 2 x double cheeseburgers and 2 cans, they made the restaurant very cool by putting fans out for the customers, the food didn't take too long to come out !!! The burgers were well presented in a sesame seeded bun with two massive ¼ pounder burgers which were good quality beefburgers at £5 each not bad considering the size of them. We waited until the kids finished school to finish off our full review. The kids also picked cheeseburgers but my daughter ordered the Hallumi starter which consisted of 5 large sticks of hot Hallumi sticks on a bed of salad. Both my son and daughter scoffed it down now for my..... I am so sorry to have to write this. I needed to eat and was parked by this place so I decided to eat there.It was empty and I was the only person eating. Being empty should have warned me being the only person there and about nine other empty tables. I ordered a mixed chicken doner kebab. When it arrived I have immediately noticed the chicken was finely shredded an burnt on edges and the d.lamb was curled an rock hard. I had two mouthfulls. Then I got lucky cos a friend rang and I said to the staff I need to go can they wrap it . They did that and I paid the £ 8.50 and left..Two mouthfulls was enough it was awful. I later fed it to my dog and he suffered diarrhea an hour after eating it. One star for the Turkish tea I drank and the portable heater they put next to me cos it was freezing. Around the corner from this place we're two kebabs and a chicken restaurant and they had lots of customers. I should have trusted my instincts and not eaten there. I decided that was a good experience as I often eat with friends and if I had taken anyone else there I would have been embarrassed. Learning experience for £8.50 was worth it .will never eat there again.

I wish Istanbul would shout more about just how good they are. We've been using them since the beginning and they stand out. We mostly have shish wraps or shish with rice and salad. They ALWAYS get the order right. ALWAYS well cooked and still hot when collected. Great value for money and delicious food. They've always got time for a smile and wave any time you're walking past. Lovely people and a great business. Highly recommend you give them a try!

The food is nice here but there portion sizes are ridiculous I had 5 small square bits of chicken shish in my wrap with loads of the bread of the wrap left over and I paid I think almost 6 pound thats a rip off so stopped going here now used it few times in the hope they upped the portion sizes but no.

Ordered from this takeaway for the first time tonight & loved it! Delivery was at the time given & food was excellent. Will definitely be ordering from this takeaway again but will order medium kebabs next time as I had a large kebab & had more food than I normally eat in a week!

Subhaan Allah. Wonderful polite service with tasty food on offer. Authentic and fantastic tasting Turkish food with an absolutely delicious home-made chilli sauce. So glad I went there on the way home from a work related excursion instead of grabbing food in Luton at home. I am most definitely coming back to eat from there again. The food price is very good for what you get and most definitely does not disappoint when in the mouth. Thank you for giving me a wonderful tasty experience and I look forward to seeing you guys soon In sha Allah. Well worth a visit if looking for good food. *Just an update for December* I went back and this time took my boys and cousin with me. I am so happy I did as we all had a fabulous meal and I even found someone who traveled further than me who came to eat there too. This place is amazing. I love the fact that I get good portions with good fresh salad for a reasonable price. It’s not often that I get to go to a place that everyone enjoyed. Now I have to figure out reasons to be in the area so I can come back regularly!!! Thank you Anil for the scrumptious food and hopefully see you soon.

Both of us had mixed donner with chips. One of the best kebabs we've had in a long while. Tasty and not too greasy. Will definitely return, Just a shame they don't deliver.

Brilliant service, fantastic food,

I walk into the takeaway shop and the atmosphere is appalling, the guy said “what would you like to order”? I simply just say “Can I just get 3 large lamb donner kebabs with chips” one plain, one chilli sauce and one mayonnaise”. So as I’m waiting for my food which took around 15-20 minutes I finally received my food I open the bag and you would not believe this. I literally said to him, “I ordered 3 large lamb donner kebabs with chips, one plain, one chilli sauce and one mayonnaise. What did you not get”? Instead he gave me 3 large lamb donner kebabs mixed in with chill sauce and mayonnaise, I was fuming I started to complain to him. Want to know what he said why are you shouting? My response is I’m not shouting I have a mask on which is I’m trying to talk a bit louder so you know what I’m saying. He was so disrespectful and he did not even apologise either. I do NOT recommend anyone to go to this horrific Istanbul BBQ shop!

The overall quality of food yh it's good But you get the occasional overcooked lamb being tough, chicken however was great but a bit over cooked Rice was under seasoned but that isn't why you go there You can see the griddle they use too cook the meat and has dedicated extraction system The interior is fairly nicely done up with both take away and sit in

The best place,where I was eating kebab in UK, everyone have to try this place, is small, humble,but with amazing kebab. Wellingborough right in the center of town. Next time I have to make picture to the food.

I just back from istambul - one of the seller tryed to sell to me old chicken - he put old chicken on the top of the fries then put fresh chicken on it-and wanted to sell it to me- I told him I saw what he did and i do not wanna pay for unfresh food - then he tryed to convince me that it's not an old chicken - I said I do not wanna pay for unfresh food and I left - big disappointment - it was the last time when iwas there

As a close neighbour to this shop , i was using regularly to buy a kebab for partner and self but have decided that food is good and bit light on giving salad and the main issue is the service and waiting time and seems they not in hurry to take your order.will not use again to be kept waiting and maybe shoul give out who;s next tickets to customers... improve customer handling skills

Great food and a family friendly atmosphere.

Opted to try a takeaway after hearing rave reviews since its opening. The food was a very good standard, very tasty and fresh. Only slight negative was the chicken shish was a little bit dry not ridiculously slow but definitely could of been cooked slightly less. Also the accompanying salads had tons of onion but only a small amount of cucumber and tomato. However I will definitely visit here and try eating in next time...

I have been to so many Turkish and leboneas food places, including places in turkey, however this food was by far the best . Highly recommend A***
