Chips like budget ones, chicken ok little dry nan bread was very nice but so cold.

Extremely tasty food at reasonable prices.

Absolutely delicious food and massive portions so be careful how much you order. The service was fast and friendly and it was all very reasonably priced. One of the best Turkish restaurants we have been to, and that includes eating in Turkey.

The best Turkish food I have eaten.The meat was juicy and tastes so good. The portions are really good and the prices are very reasonable. The service was excellent too. We'll definitely visit again to try the other dishes.

Excellent establishment. Very attentive, friendly staff who can't do enough for you. Delicious healthy food cooked to order in front of you. Reasonable prices for well-laden plates. Huge selection of authentic dishes and alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks. Everything you need for that perfect night out. Open all day, but gets very busy in the evenings so suggest you book in advance. Have visited several times now and can't wait to go back again.

Ordered a mixed kebab that was so loaded it could probably feed me AND my imaginary friend! The lamb ribs were the Beyoncé of the dish—absolute show-stoppers. The bread, however, felt like it had just come back from an arctic holiday—chilly! But hey, nothing a quick nuke in the microwave couldn’t fix. Overall, 10/10 would definitely risk meat sweats again.

originally the delivery time 10-20 mins, it was over 1 hour from original order time. the food was cold and poorly presented and the drink was damaged and warm. the worst order I've ever placed.

A wonderful atmosphere, and superb food as well. The waitress who served us was called Aleyna, and she was extremely pleasant and a delightful person as well. I would give higher ratings all across the board if I could.

Sadly the rushing of the staff for you to eat your food and get out kills any enjoyment not only of being there but the whole dining experience completely. There are plenty of other places to eat in Hereford. I won't be going there again !

A colleague and I were in Hereford for a work trip and at the recommendation of a local taxi driver we’ve had the absolute pleasure of dining at Istanbul on three separate occasions…and each time we’ve been, we’re gobsmacked by how good the food is. I’m a big fan of Turkish food and have been to many different restaurants in London, in various major cities in the US as well as in Turkey itself … and this place has got to be one of the best - if not THE best I’ve had. The meat is tender and succulent, meze bursting with flavour, salad crispy and fresh, and the homemade bread is to die for. Service is impeccable. You can really tell that the chefs and staff take so much pride in the food they serve. To top it all off, it’s very reasonably priced too! If this place were in London there would be queues out the door or it’d be booked out in advance for months. People of Hereford, you really don’t know how lucky you are to have this absolute gem of a restaurant! My next work trip here cannot come soon enough! My only note to management is I hope staff are being paid accordingly for their wonderful service - it’s such a rare thing to see; they deserve to be rewarded for their efforts!

Food wasn’t really edible. Dips missing and the dips received were wrong. No salad, but loads of rice very little chicken.

Really nice people, fast Order, quickly served, very tasty. Got a nice Talk and learned something from the staff. Would visit again!

Just had a works do and the food was delicious. The staff are friendly but they were very quick at clearing away the plates when some people were still eating, even though we told them so this was a bit annoying but that's the only downside.

The shop front and location do not jump out as a fair size restaurant but once you enter the friendly and efficient staff guide you into a surprisingly large and nicely presented establishment. Every mouthful of the authentic cuisine was delicious and a range of local beers and ciders was most enjoyable too. Highly recommended.

The food we had was great but we had no salad at all across the whole order even though we had asked for 'all salad' with each dish. It made the dishes quite bland. Disappointing 😞

the delivery driver from just eat got the orders mixed up but the customer service of the staff at this place was brilliant and they came out themselves to give me the correct food he was polite and happy all in all nice meal

I would say best Turkish restaurant in Hereford. Reasonable prices, excellent service, clean with lovely ambiance and of course beautifully food.

It's been a while since we've visited Istanbul so it was such a pleasure to find authentically prepared food. It brought back wonderful memories! We had the sharing platter and there was more than enough for the two of us. Come to this restaurant with a hungry stomach. Service was friendly and efficient and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. We had a very good evening out. We appreciated their late hours too.

We had a party of 10 here yesterday evening and we cannot fault it. All food was gorgeous, the service was excellent with a great friendly atmosphere. Some of us could not eat all of our food and we were provided with boxes to take home. Bread and water was also provided at the table. We will definitely be coming back. I cannot recommend enough!

Tiny tiny tiny amount of food provided for a premium £21 - I have had more for and better food from the local fish chip kebab shop - truly embarrassing I want a refund.

I ordered food for 6:15 from Ross on Wye. I went in and the employees were nice-faced . food was absolutely delicious

1st visit and wasn’t disappointed, got many a recommendation to try this restaurant. Service was excellent and quick Price was a little higher than expected but the service and the quality shows. Got a walk in table for 6 on a Saturday afternoon. Greeted and seated with professional and friendly waiter. Menu catered to both veggie and meateaters which great for our party. Food came really quick after ordering 6 different menu items, tried the beer and traditional green tea which was pretty refreshing! Options for meals for parties or 2 and 3 to share and a few sides. Would really like to go back multiple times to try all the other items on the menu.

Visiting Hereford for the weekend and noticed the advert for Istanbul Restaurant on the side of the football ground and thought we'd give it a try! Absolutely amazing restaurant. Really personable, friendly and funny staff and the food was so delicious. Highly recommended!

worst behaviour ever in hereford. havent seen restaurant people talking rubbish. brought wrong order , instead of accepting , he started talking nonsense. i regret that i should have made a video of the person talking rubbish as a proof.

Absolutely delicious. Really well seasoned and cooked perfectly. We got a 2 person special for the two people and the portions were big enough to take home and enjoy it again the next day. Next time I drive through the town I will be stopping there again for dinner. Highly recommend.

They were quite slow in service and they brought the bill and it was over £300 there were starters sharers all of what we did not have. 2 of our party of 8 only had chips and there were 2 child meals. When said about it it took ages to sort out we felt like they didn't believe us . Girl said they had problems with there I pads. Did not get an apology

Food was amazing. Friendly delivery driver. He was the first driver to find us without getting lost (other restaurants not this one regularly get lost and food arrives stone cold) Followed the delivery app which showed our houses location without any problems. Will definitely order again.

Wow, what a delight this restaurant is! We visited for lunch with friends who come here regularly so that says a lot too. We had the lunchtime special of kebab and rice/salad and the same but with chips, no rice. We also had their own bread made there in the restaurant area. The food is superb, really tasty, beautifully cooked and presented. Everything was 100% perfect, the restaurant, staff, comfort, choice and the food. I really recommend that you visit.

The Istanbul has become a favourite of ours for the amazing food and great service. On our visit last Tuesday we were given a friendly welcome and our was taken quickly. We had the mixed special for 2 and it was delicious. Authentic Turkish cuisine at its best.

It’s one of our go to takeaways now. The food is always hot! I must say the best chips in town for sure! We’ve ordered quite a variety of dishes so far and not once were disappointed, so well done Istanbul Restaurant, keep up a good work.

I like Turkish food and this place does it well. I guess it must be fairly authentic as plenty of Turkish families eat there. Good.

To be honest, the food was pretty tasteless and bland, and the portions were extremely small... please don't let my experience put you off trying it, BUT I certainly wouldn't recommend nor return to this place.

Best halal kebab place in hereford. Surprisingly their lamb meat doesnt smell at all. Bravo to their marination of the meat and cooking. Must try their chicken wings its soo juicy and perfectly cooked Didnt like the rice though not spicy at all
