Always good. I visit once a week, it never disappoints, attentive staff, lovely food. It's very popular and always busy. I'd rather pay a few extra quid to enjoy nice food than order a take away at home.

The food here is AMAZING! we have eaten here quite a few times lately and it's definitely our favourite restaurant! The portion sizes are huge and it's not expensive considering the quality of food and service.

One of the best restaurants in Huddersfield! Great food and atmosphere, we got the mixed sharing platter and mocktails, which were both nice. The customer service was really good (especially Bella), they were very welcoming and checked in getting us anything we needed. Would definitely recommend :)

I visit Istanbul on Eid I can't even begin to explain the quality of this restaurant. The staff are so friendly and constantly check to make sure everything is ok. The food is amazing and the prices are ridiculously low for the quality. I'll definitely be going back very soon. Thank you to all the staff, especially the chef for a fabulous Eid.

Why is the food so high in salt? Was it a special request I don't remember asking for it! Looks like I'll just stick to Mezza in Bradford they seem to meet quality and demands better. Well done for losing a customer spending £50-80 for 2. Actually I give service 5 star plus atmosphere 5 star, just unfortunate with the food. you need to accept your salt level! Consider opening a Salt Store!

The food here is amazing it’s just like being in Turkey. The prices are also affordable and the staff are very friendly. Well worth a visit!

Good food had a shared platter of usual meats, but ribs were a bit fatty other than that was good .bread and dips before meal and free Istanbul tea.

Despite facing a setback with a fire closure, this restaurant has risen from the ashes even stronger. I’ve been a patron for some time, and I’m delighted to say that the reopening did not disappoint. The service was impeccable, and the food, as always, was top-notch. Kudos to the team for their resilience and commitment to excellence. Highly recommended!

We had my sons 16th birthday. Nearly 50 guest. Staff looked after every one. Great food with great smile.

Went to this restaurant for the first time for my sisters 18th and was really impressed, the food was delicious with generous portions. The staff were also wonderful and very helpful and happy they embrassed my sis with a birthday song. 😂. Will definitely be visiting again.

Great service and atmosphere. Even on a weekday the place is rammed. The lentil soup was thick and hearty. The chicken shawarma was juicy and full of flavour. Waiters were great and the place had a good ambiance. Works out around £20 a head if you get a starter and main

First time visit on Mother’s Day, wow what a place. From the moment we entered we were welcomed with open arms from the manager to front of house and all the staff serving on. They can not do enough for you, nothing is too much trouble. compliments to the chefs as the food we all had was beautiful. The complimentary starter and Turkish tea at the end was a great touch and just makes you feel welcomed and appreciated. We can not wait to go back and I can see it being sooner rather later. Thank you for the beautiful Mother’s Day desserts at the end really nice touch and so tasty. Sorry I did not get any names but you all do a fabulous job keep up the good work and see you all again 👍🏻🇹🇷

Wonderful place. Food was number one. I have gone to many Turkish restaurants in the Uk but this!! This was different. I had a shared platter of grills. The meat and chicken were absolutely amazing. Staff service was excellent. Really quick and very responsive. They were around but not too much to make you uncomfortable. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Only downside was they were in a hurry in the end to get rid of us to leave room for new customers. Which is fine I understand it is a business and they want to make money. But we were there for only one hour it was not very cool of them to act like that. Nevertheless, i give five stars because i was truly satisfied with the food and service. Well done istanbul. It truly gave me an istanbul-like vibe and experience. Please don’t try ti kick us out next time Cheers

The food and atmosphere were really nice . Staff are very friendly and welcoming . A point that I think you should address is that the toilets should be monitored !!.

Went for my birthday meal, they were lovely and gave me the v.i.p room. The food and service was lovely. Would definitely recommend. Just a shame one of my guests was a bit rude to staff. They handled it very well though so professional.

What supposed to be a nice treat dining out with family it turned out to be our worse restaurant experience ever. Horrible service with cheeky waitresses. After finally taking our order and another long wait for it to be made they’ve finally brought the food out to us only for us to find out its our deserts ! After politely telling them it must be a mistake they’ve again come back and said it’s definitely our order and the mains are coming after. Who orders desserts before main???? They’ve completely forgot our drinks and after asking several waiters for it they’ve finally bought it when we were nearly finished with our food. After another long wait our kids finally got their ice cream for them to forget to bring us spoons, after another 10 mins they brought us 3 big spoons which kids could barely hold, never mind eat ice cream with. Ignorant and inexperienced staff totally spoiled our evening.

The best Turkish food in town,very tasty. The waiter Bella is the best,always smiling and making you feel very welcome and the supervisor is a star,always looking after the customers and friendly,definitely I give them 10/10

I took my mother to Istanbul for a meal. We usually love it here as the food is lovely. However on this occasion service was terrible. After being seated, it took over 20 mins for someone to take our order. After finishing our meal ( which was cold and we had found the knives were not sharp ).We waited for someone to come and clean table and ask us for our dessert order. This took another 15 mins then we waited another 15 mins for someone to take the order after flagging this the manager decided to take our order. Then after another 20 mins passed and we finally received the tea.. only to be told a few mins later by the manager that we need vacate the table within 5 mins! Feeling embarrassed as tables close by heard this, we got up to leave, leaving the tea behind. We decided to feedback at the counter where we were half listened to and then ignored for another customer.

Fahad the manager is an absolute delight He gave us all a good welcome, friendly and looked after us throughout our meal. The waitress Mayra was so Professional She helped with our orders The design and look of the restaurant was very pleasing to the eye. It was also well kept and maintained and very clean. The atmosphere had a good feel and The music was not intrusive. The wait for the food was not long at all. WOW the look of the dishes it was like something you'd see in a five-star Michelin restaurant plus how big the portions were Really good value for money The taste of the food was Delicious Recommend this place to everyone complimentary starter and complementary tea to finish as well

The first thing arrives on your table is a basket of complimentary bread, simple yet amazing, some of the best bread you will ever have. The rest of the menu is delicious and reasonably priced. The student menu is especially good deal and good portion size. Other restaurants in town may have good environment, service but average food or good service, food but average environment, this one has them all. Lunch, date and party, perfect for all occasions.

Ordered Sucuk for starter and Chicken Shish with chips. Would have liked a few more Chicken cubes in my meal but nice to be back in there again since Jumbo's was closed down in 2012.

Since they have re opened up I have been there few times. The food is so fresh and yummy AND BIG PORTIONS, really addictive food. They have a new menu too, do try out the new menu it’s really amazing food. The service is really good and quick. The bill came out to be £36 which we thought it is really cheap for two people. We couldn’t finish all the food so we took it home.

Truly the best restaurant in Huddersfield and I’m so glad they’re open again!! The service has always consistently been great (since ordering from them during the 2021 pandemic!) and the food is so delicious. The portions are always very generous and a great value for money. Also a massive thank you to the staff for a portion of baklawa on the house - it was very kind of them!

Beautiful setting. Service great, attentative friendly staff nothing is too much trouble. Great visit for my daughters 16th Birthday. Food fantastic as always, we had a variety of starters: Tiger prawns Lentil Soup (Yummy and very authentic) Sigara boreki Then we shared the Mixed platter, which was huuuuuge aswell as super tasty and fresh. With a Baklava and box of leftovers to take home. 10/10 So happy they've re-opened after the unfortunate fire. Can't wait to visit again soon.

Well I have to say I loved this place before it closed due to fire, so when I realised that it was back open I couldn't wait to go. And it didn't disappoint. The food here is amazing, full of flavour and really generous portion sizes as well. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. I really do recommend that you try this place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our food at Istanbul restaurant. The service was excellent and were very welcoming. I was also offered a student meal as I am a student which was very convenient. Overall, I would recommend coming to this restaurant.
