Absolutely bland food, poorly presented. The interior has no atmosphere, tables and chairs are not very clean. We had the opportunity to taste delicious Turkish food - this was not it, we were very disappointed

Mixed kebab deal is a good deal with lots of food for 2 and very high quality meat. Had enough for leftovers for lunch next day. Nice staff and read they also have cheaper prices for lunch.

Food cooked very nicely. Most of the time we were glad we came here. Only last time we came , ordered lamb chops (4 on the plate) . To our surprise one of the chop was very very small, tiny little thing. It looked like somebody had bites a big chunk of it. We complained about it but none of the staff did anything to resolve the issue. Bit of disappointment.

Lovely relaxing home from home restaurant they serve the best meat cooked to perfection and fresh salad with rice loved my halloumi cheese sticks too

This is one of the best Restaurant for our family! They even gave us free Milkshake for my child and free 2 mojitos as it was their new addition to the menu on this day! Friendly staff and the most delicious & rich food! Love this place! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️

This is the best place in Wolverhampton to eat Turkish food! I’ve been going to this place for the past 3 years and the food and the service is always on point. Fresh food unlimited Turkish bread best place ever ! A must go !

First visit but won't be my last Food was delicious and great value. It's such a large place so I think it took away some of the atmosphere but I visited at lunchtime so maybe when there are more people in of an evening, it would be better.

It's was ok, nothing special .We both had a meal each and wanted a couple of shish kebabs on the side with the meals . So we asked the lady if that would be OK and she oh no... you have to buy the whole meal if you want shish kebabs. I've been to many turkish restaurants and have never heard of this. I was willing to pay for the extra food,

I went here and I absolutely adored everything. The hospitality, the food, the atmosphere was 10/10. All three ladies that served us and spoke to us were friendly and welcoming with a smile on their face. The portions were great for the price and we were served bread with three different dips. It was absolutely lovely and felt like istanbul. I can’t wait to go back here:)

Amazing food just beautiful and delicious and great hospitality from most staff but one girl I would have to say ruined it for me one girl with big eyes and black and short hair and an iranian accent ,she was behaving horrendously and was giving dirty looks will unfortunately be not coming back

Eaten here many times, food quality is great and arrives fairly quickly. Good selection of veg and meats. My ONLY negative point would be that on 2 occasions back to back we had part of our order missed out even though it was repeated back to us. Unfortunately, the waitress was the same one on both occassions and was quite argumentative and instead of apologising was adamant to our group of 11 that she was correct. Raised to another staff member and remaining service was perfect. Definitely not enough to deter us from eating here again as the food is clean and fresh.

No problem booing a table for 25, service was quick, friendly and helpful. Food was lovely the bread and dip starter , platter for 2 with an extra of chips . I really enjoyed my experience and will go again . Thank you for making our time together comfortable and fun

Food was great with huge portions. Waitstaff were very attentive. I like the chicken wing with rice most, wings were very juicy and tender and the rice was fragrant with herbs.

This place has gone down hill fast!! When it first opened it was really good!!! What a difference now, we will be never be coming back here again. So before they would let you subtitute items when you order your food, but now its a straight up "no we can not do that anymore" and flet like this was there was way for you to spend more money then you need to, and out of principle, I just did not oder a main dish. Also you used to get 4 different dips for the table, well now you only get 3, and also before they used to make the bread fresh there and then, but the bread we has tested old and was definitely not fresh!! It's really sad as this used to be really good place to eat with family but not anymore, but don't just take my word for it, you will see what it is like now, and I for one will not be going back again!!

The food is nice, but wow have their prices gone up. £40 for two starters and a main Edit: their prices are substantially higher on delivery apps like Uber Eats vs picking up. Special platter for 4 is £94.99 on uber eats and direct for pickup it’s £66.50 😫

I am very disappointed.. I ordered the kids meal, chicken and chips. The chicken had no flavor at all and was very, very dry, as if it had been reheated. I wouldn't give this to my child and I wouldn't eat it myself. I don't recommend it 👎

I thought the food here wasn't very good at all.I had rice and lamb kebabs and both were totally bland in flavour.The lamb kebabs had no flavour to them at all.I didn't get the standard you would expect from an authentic Turkish restaurant. I can't understand why people gave this place good reviews. Won't be going again.

I visited the restaurant with my family today after travelling a hour half first part the bread served to us was undercooked, second part of my order didn’t come with the rest of the food we ordered and the plater we was served with parts of the meats raw lamb shish and lamb kofte and the chicken still pink in the chicken sywarm and tikka disgusting we left everything £47 in total for food that you wouldn’t feed to a dog and disgusting service from the staff just a sorry not the fact of how dangerous it is to serve under cooked meat to the public perhaps everyone else visits might be different to mine but mine was appalling never again a waste of money please save your time a money not worth the visit unless you won’t food poisoning!!!! AVOID I payed my bill and left it isn’t a complaint for money back or to try reduce my bill it’s a warning for everyone else undercooked meat is dangerous

Ordered a Kebab and rice. The kebab was cooked well, tender and juicy. However, it lacked seasoning and flavour. It was very quiet when I went. The service was good.

Randomly walked in to this restaurant on Easter Sunday as trains disrupted my other plans. Loved the food, perfectly cooked and smells amazing. Suggested this restaurant to my colleagues and we hosted a Corporate dinner recently from the University with almost 35 people and they made sure they served every one together and all the guests from overseas were really happy. We ordered plater for 4, which was a massive one can be enjoyed by 6 people easily. Loved the food and the customer service Ambience and the staff training could be improved

What an absolute taste sensation!!! The range of meats all cooked to absolute perfection , tender , juicy but with that bbq crust and the breads !!! They smelt and tasted as if they had been freshly baked the rice base was just the icing on the top as it soaked up all the juice from the meat to give another level of flavour to this already amazing takeout. We will definitely be visiting to eat in next time thank you for a great meal ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Went tonight for dinner after lots of recommendations, the food was absolutely amazing, so filing, plenty to eat, great value for money, the staff were very attentive always making sure we were OK, very clean, lovely decor and very spacious with plenty of room, we will definitely be eating here again. I read some of the negative reviews but I like to decide for myself. The negative reviews were that for good reason. I arrived 1.30pm with my wife. The restaurant was empty. Nicely decorated and very clean. Ordered starter and main. After the starter the finished plates sat for a full 20 minutes. One of the many staff walked by and I asked them to remove the plates. At that within seconds our mains arrived. Lamb kebab was edible but the rest was a mush mash of sauce and badly dressed salad. Main finished. We waited. Nobody cleared our table again. We had to walk towards the door where the pay point was and ask to pay. Avoid this place at all costs. Staff were non existent.

First time eating here and the food didn't disappoint. The service and politeness of staff was good, as it should be in any restaurant. The quality of the food was good, taste and portion size wise. I would visit again.

Overall food is good but going downhill evrytime we r visiting now .Used to be amazing now its not as good like used to be.. but my worst disappointment was finding hair twice now in my food.and when i complained the customer service was poor.wsnt happy with overall experience .used to go there alot but now not happy if i would like to dine in again ..

Fine dining indeed !!Loved the space , friendly staff and fresh food prepared while you wait and doesnt take too long .While waiting , you are served with fresh home made turkish nan bread and a variety of sauces ( be careful and not tuck in too much of this because the bread is so fresh!!) .Reasonable cost too , free jugs of water and hot turkish tea!!The environment is homely too .The only advice i gave the Master Chef is to try and bring some uniformity in staff clothing so that they can stand out instead of everyone putting on whatever they want !!Suggested black trousers / skirts/ dress and or white / black top!!The boys enjoyed the food !Happy customers indeed !!Fantastic Family Christmas Dinner

Istambul Restaurant Wolverhampton: Reservation made 4 days ago for 20 people, for today at 6:30. We were 18 people ,then 4 left, seeing how slowly the serving was going on. We waited 2 hours until the first plate of food arrived. During this time, other tables served even if they arrived after us. My  son waited another 30 minutes for the correct menu because he received something else. I couldn't even finish my meal seeing my boy longing for his plate . He received it just before we had to leave,so he had to eat in a rush. After we finished eating, 2 people at our table  still hadn't received their food. When they got it, they ate in a rush as it was about 2,45 hours of waiting. It was extremely frustrating, especially since we were going to make a 2-hour trip back home,so we didn't expect this delay. They  hardly said sorry only after we went a few times on the front to ask what's going on. I could see how disorganised they were, sending the girls to us with food which we didn't order, but the food ordered not coming for ages. They didn't have the courtesy to compensate in any way the lack of care , my family of 4 was charged in full for the food. It was such a  terrible experience for us. DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE !

It is a nice huge restaurant. Service is good. Food was okay. Most of the food is dry. The salads are just plain grated vegetables, no dressing on them and no herbs mixed. The chicken was dry. But the lamb chops were nice. The seating is good and clean.

Found this place by asking people about good places to eat in Wolverhampton. Turkish food restaurant right by the car park, bonus. Walk in no reservation plenty of empty tables as it was early. Food choices as plenty and reasonable prices . Food comes out quickly and nearly all at once, they didn't really let you finish your starters and had delivered out the main meal. So by now I've got starters , plus bread, and now the main meal . This is my only grip , food tasted great and I'd probably go back , but not order main till I've eaten the starters.

Me and my partner went to this wonderful place I have been craving for that test in a long time and finally I am so happy the food was amazing. This is the best Turkish restaurant I have ever been until now I have tried many but this restaurant is my top 💯 the test of the food is just yummy and the meet was so soft and delicious my partner loved the ayran ❤️ thank you so much you guys made my day I highly recommend this place for everyone 😊

We had, amongst other things, the family meal for four, which would have been enough for the six of us by itself. Everything was very well cooked, especially the lamb. The starters that came with it were a bit small though, two of each thing in a meal for four.

The food was delicious and served quickly, very fresh and tasty. The only issue was that the plates were left on the table afterwards until we paid and left. These could have been cleared after we'd finished eating, but other than that it was great. Will definitely go back.

We went as a group of 3. Food arrived for 2 and it was very tasty however they completely forgot the 3rd main so we had to share our food. They did say they'd bring the main out afterwards which was a bit pointless. 🙄

Highly recommend! The food is delicious! I would say this is the best restaurant for me in a Wolverhampton! Service is good. The only one thing I don’t really like it is - chipped and dirty plates served on the table when you arrive. I am glad we haven’t touch even touch them. Hopefully they gave us food from clean plates. Fantastic place for getting family and friends together, always space and can accommodate large number at short notice. Salad it's delicious, fresh and plentiful. Parking available right opposite . Grilled options platters where fillings.

4.5 stars. I had a mixed grill which was absolutely brilliant the meal was nice and tender and had brilliant flavouring. Rice was cooked perfectly. It could have been a little bit hotter when it was served but other than that food, service and atmosphere were good.

The venue looks fresh and modern inside, staff was friendly and they all looked to be in a good mood which gave the place a good guest-welcoming vibe; food was amazing I have to say (I placed a take away order on site); and I even got a complementary Turkish tea while I waited for my order.

Food isn't bad at all but wasn't happy that they don't serve alcohol with food no beers says Istanbul but excually they not Turkish at all they are kurdish the staff and any other Turkish restaurants been to serve alcohol efes beer and raki so waukdnt advice if you like beer or alcoholic drinks while waiting for your food and staff miserable as f....

Absolutely brilliant meal here on Sunday. The food is delicious and the portions are really generous. The staff were also really friendly and happy to provide take out boxes for the food we could eat, as we were so full. The only let down is the tables and chairs have seen better days but everything was clean. We will definitely be back again soon.

A visit to this restaurant is like a mini vacation. Bonus: they have prayer (salah) facilities! The only negative were the ready made desserts (mini cheesecakes.

Asked for a job in Istanbul restaurant , and was advised I can work 9 hour days, 6 days a week for £60 a day. £360 a week. This is equivalent to £6.66 for one hour. THIS IS ILLEGAL. Underpaid by almost £200 a week. They are exploiting foreign workers. I have reported them to HMRC. Will never reccomend it eat in this restaurant again.

The food was partially good, especially the chicken kebab and chicken wings. However, the lamb and beef kebab weren't cooked properly, so it wasn't that good. The restaurant atmosphere was nice and cosy. Since it was my first time, we were offered free tea, and the tea was lovely.

Nice authentic Turkish food. Not surprising as it is a Turkish restaurant . Quick service and you won't go hungry as the portions are sizable. Which is good as I'm sizable as well. I'm a 36 in jeans nowadays, my wife's not to happy about that, its not my fault I'm just big boned. Recommended! ( the restaurant not my big bones that is)

Great authentic Turkish food. I had a lovely takeaway and while I waited they offered me a complimentary tea, which l really liked, compared to English tea.

We've had regular meals here since it opened but this week was the worst and to top it off half the group is now ill. Its such a shame because the restaurant was great and progressively got worse

8 of us went for dinner and ordered the platter for 4. Every item including the meze was absolutely perfect. Food was cooked to perfection and the portions were huge which was excellent. High quality food. Service was good but we were left for long periods of time and had to keep asking when we needed something like extra drinks etc, but was it was a Saturday night and busy, just needed a little more attentiveness, but they were happy to help each time. Can’t wait to return☺️

We received the most horrendous service today. The service was awful. Staff were rude and ignorant. Missed off items off our order which despite several requests they failed to bring out. The place lacked hygiene, tables were dirty.expected to have dinner on small side plates, which were dirty. Fair to say we won’t be going back there again. It was my birthday today and 11 of us went to celebrate but we were really let down by the service.

Honestly, the food was okay. The experience was bad. The workers didn't care. Our chips that we ordered were cold and was forgotten about. Then our drinks were late and also forgotten about. We came for a birthday and I think we should of gone somewhere else because it was not nice.The cooks just stood there when we asked for our chips. Overall, I didn't think that it was very nice and we are never going there again. Please next time do better!

Food was tasty, a lot better than my first visit there. Service initially was very slow and tables who had arrived after us were served first even though it was clear we were ready to order. After we ordered, it was much better. Music's fine but not a constant volume, it's either up or down which does affect the atmosphere.

Could not fault the food but the service not good. Asked for 2 cand if coke the never came and I felt we were not wanted in there.

me and my friends had a lovely meal here, I had the Chicken Kofte wrap with chips and it only cost me £11, really nice wrap and huge portions! There is something for everyone on the menu, lots of veggie options as well as huge meat platters. A hidden gem offering tasty authentic Turkish food.
