I really enjoyed the brisket off the grill my poor girlfriend had to watch me turn into a caveman and devour the lot would definitely return if I'm in the area

Brilliant experience at Rodeos this weekend. We booked for a birthday meal and live music and it did not disappoint. Great atmosphere, entertainment, all of the food was outstanding and the staff were also a credit to the place! Ryan and Lottie were lovely, extremely attentive and deserve recognition for all the running around they do!

Fantastic food with great service from Ingrida and the music was spot on. This was our first visit and definitely won't be our last.

We visited rodeos out on a whim when my other half wanted nothing more than a hotdog. Having never been before, we didn't know what to expect. Before I progress into this review further, I want to note that we arrived at the restaurant around 4.30pm, which for the UK is a particularly non standard time, so I am keeping this in mind and accounting for this when marking out the service. Upon parking and walking into the restaurant, we were particularly unclear as to where to go when reaching the top of the stairs, as the signs were incredibly themed. Given the building's previous history as a nightclub (or so I've been informed), I'd imagine this used to be the ticketing booth location, and now is used to take in bookings on busy evenings or when events are planned within the restaurant. As a result, we spent a good few minutes unnoticed in their corridor 'waiting area', before a member of staff (who by looks of it was doing some maintenance) walked past and directed us into the main dining hall Upon walking into the dining area, the service could not have been better. The south USA themed bar and stage area, alongside country music over the sound system really helped transport you across to the deep south. The waitress was more than happy to seat us at walk-ins into a rather empty dining hall (to be expected given the early time) and was quick to give us menus, take drinks orders and serve food. The food itself was incredibly good, the cost per dish was higher than average, but the Portion size absolutely made up for it. We ended up taking home almost half of the slow cooked ribs, which I couldn't squeeze in despite how tasty it was. From a brief glance at the desert menu after eating as well , I'd regret not keeping more space back for trying one. If I'd known when I first went the portion sizes , I likely would've ordered a smaller sounding dish! The only hindrance we faced in our visit was having to wait a while to be able to ask for the bill. Due to our time or arrival, the waitress originally serving us had left, and as the restaurant had grown significantly busier compared to when we moved in, and I think we were easily missed by the other waitresses who had just come into a fairly frantic restaurant! It wasn't a major delay, and we were able to get help paying our bill in decent time despite this, with just as good service despite the increased stress on the staff. I'm really looking forward to returning with family members from out of the area, as they don't have a south USA BBQ themed country restaurant near then. Feeling incredibly lucky to have such a place local to us!

Amazing place! Friendly and smiley staff who help create a relaxed and fun country atmosphere. The food portions are great and the quality of food is just as good (a little pricey but that does not take away how good it is overall). Would definitely recommend this place for any occasion! Oh and if you can, have a go on the bull

We went on the Tuesday evening for the £5 offer of steak and fries a choice of sauce for steak, went about 5.30 because it get busy ...the food was delicious, the cocktails was lovely. There is a bull ride in the middle of the room you can have a go on for £2 ..great evening had by all x

Great looking venue. Food was fantastic and of good portions. Venue was spotless including the toilets. Great bit of fun on the buffalo 🐃 🦬 🐃 😍 Staff member lottie was fantastic through out our stay. If you like County and weston then this is the place to be in wolverhampton

Food was gorgeous! We all loved it big family with us around 6 kids and a few adults. We unfortunately went on a day the bull wasn’t out as line dancing was on. It was quite when we went which was best so the kids was allowed to nosey round at all the decor and take photos on the car and saddle. They gave them cowboy hats to wear too.

Me and my friend booked a bottomless brunch. The wait for drinks was the longest we’ve ever waited for “bottomless” and we ended up only getting 2 each in the space of an hour and a half. So technically by this point our bottomless was over, however we managed to get a waitresses attention half an hour later who said we could have an extra two drinks each which was good. I would say the food was nice but nothing amazing and the cocktails were really nice once we got them. We ended up being at this place 3 hours having 4 drinks each in the end. I don’t blame the staff, there was only one girl on the floor and working behind the bar for a whole hour before the manager had called staff in “last minute” because the place started filling up, I believe a family had walked out and another woman went up to the bar twice asking to be served so we felt sorry for her. I actually saw some reviews on indeed about working here and they were all 1 star because of the manager, I think he could have definitely helped in this situation but had no intention to whatsoever. Overall, I love the design of the place, the staff are really friendly and the bull is brilliant. I would come here again but definitely not for bottomless brunch.

Great live music and entertaining staff that joined in the line dancing etc even from behind the bar.

Went in on bank holiday, charged £30 to reserve a table. Took 10 mins for someone to come see us as they had 1 person working a restaurant. We were then told they had no brisket, no ribs and no pork basically pointless. This was on a bank holiday late afternoon aswell.

Brilliant place great atmosphere staff are really helpful we watched david bounds last night and it was fantastic we will definitely be coming back in the near future.

To be delivered cold steak when ordering well done is not acceptable. And then the manager to tell us that Apparently they will replace the food but my friend was in a position that she will not eat if there is a fault, but the manger then said no free food is given away yet the whole meal was returned minus 1 bite. The customer service is low standard due to attitude. We where recommended this place and in all fairness the place looks lovely and could be. Very nice place with the right attitude of staff. Their terms and conditions aren't what they say they are. The manager who didn't actually want to tell us she was the manger decided she wanted to argue with us. The brisket was actually nice but the two other meals were eaten but they were also cold but edible but one mel was totally returned including the burnt Texan toast

Loved it. Can't rave highly enough about the place. From the moment you walk in the atmosphere is immersive! The staff genuinely enjoy their job, they're approach to customers is second to none and attentive regardless of how busy the restaurant is. We were lucky enough to experience the southlands and the lead singers voice... wow! May have another few fans after that performance for sure. Happily visit again

Wow! First visit and we were totally overwhelmed but the fantastic service and atmosphere . It was an absolutely fantastic Mother’s Day to remember. Could not fault anything, the staff and facilities were superb. Considering how full it was there was hardly any wait and Lauren was super attentive and friendly. The food was astounding and we can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!! Thank you for a lovely experience!!

We came as a big group for bottomless brunch and the service was super quick and organised. Good food and the team are brilliant! There were lots of activities, mechanical bull and line dancing. Visited with 3 friends, think we were first to arrive and last to leave. Food was really good and the waitress was amazing, very friendly and so helpful. I would highly recommend a visit if you haven’t been and try the cocktails too.

Fantastic set up inside,staff were great and we had a bull ride for £2. The staff did a dance to one of the songs which all made the night fun,then the food came,the burgers were massive and tasty we had a route 66 to share which we couldn't finish. Overall a great experience and would recommend to anyone who wants great food and a great night.

Went for lunch today with friends for a small birthday lunch. The place was really cool and the food was fantastic! The service was quick and everyone we spoke too was so lovely, really would recommend 👌 Thinking about asking if they would have us for a hen party 🥳

Booked a table for 2. We arrived at the venue to be told they never had a table available. So they made a table up next to the photo prop and kitchen doors. Where we couldn't even sit opposite each other and was told people maybe coming over to use the photo props. We then asked to be moved as we were not happy with the table. They were happy to move us as soon as a table becomes available. While we were waiting, other couples came in and got seated, no problem. One couple even got given a table for 4. Then they started making up a table right next to the main doors with people constantly coming and going. At that point, we told them no chance that table is even worse. So we did no more than put our coats on and left. In my opinion it's very badly run and organised. And we won't be returning.

Well what can I say! We had rude staff and the management's attitude was just as disgusting! If I had gone to a Karen’s dinner I’d of expected that as it’s part of that experience but not from here. Food delivered with missing items! That came out when we had finished the food we had. I am extremely disappointed to say the least. The attenuated to customer care was shocking, yes things can go wrong but to have an attenuated when asked for missing food is not acceptable. I was expecting more of an atmosphere to do with the restaurant theme but it was lacking to say the least. It felt like the staff had no pride or enjoyment in their work. For me it’s a no I would not go again. I just hope they change their attitude towards customer care and deliver a better service in the future, I will not be returning.

This is literally the best place I have ever eaten in the meat was super juicy and tender the vibe within the restaurant was just right for the style of restaurant super fast service by the waitress she made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in until the moment we left delighted to find this place and can't wait to return well done to the whole team

Food, service and entertainment is perfect. Friendly staff, making our experience even more enjoyable. Lottie, Morgan and Ingreda are brilliant and couldn’t have been more helpful. I recommend the ribeye steak - medium/rare of course.

Honestly some of the worst Nachos I've ever had in my entire life. The brisket was absolutely rotten and the cheese was very cheap and lumpy. My Guinness was also pretty terrible and the people I was with weren't super impressed either. The rodeo bull seemed to be turned off which was massively disappointing. It was the single reason we brought our friend here for his stag party.

Another new visit and a review update. The venue has been vamped up since our last visit and it was so exciting to see what Simon and the team had done with the place. The stage area looks absolutely incredible, there's space for customer interaction and photos so that's one new thing, the bar area is different with American number plates all around which honestly doesn't sound much but it looks very impressive. There's a new upstairs area for people to sit and eat too as well as more of our favourite artists painted on the walls. Our customer service was as always fantastic, Simon always looks so happy to see us and it is shown every time he sees us, comes over for a chat and always asks how we are, it's the personal touch that makes you feel like you're visiting friends. The staff are always lovely, I haven't had one experience that is less than great with any of them which I'm sure you will agree is very rare! We couldn't decide what to eat this time so we went for the sharing platter for two (I believe it's the route 66 maybe?) ...oh my ... It was incredible... Every meat that is available at time if ordering is put onto your plate as well as chips, cowboy beans, slaw and couple of corn dogs! (Check my last photo for the meal) this was just shy of £50 and I don't think you can get better value for money when you don't know what you want. 2 full bellies and a bag full of what we couldn't eat to take home says that's great value for money. If you're thinking about coming here then you really should, the atmosphere is great, the team are great, the food is great. It is a really nice place to eat! This was my second visit and my partners maybe 4th? I'd chose a meal here over pretty much anywhere for the welcome, atmosphere, food, experience... This place has it all! We had some time to kill waiting for an event at the nearby canal and found this restaurant on Google search. It was just what we were looking for. Fun place with wide BBQ based menu. Staff were lovely, food was good and arrived in decent time to make our event. As it was a lunchtime there were lots of families around and a good atmosphere. Staff even set up the bucking bronco ride just for one man!

We took our daughter who has special needs & the staff were just amazing with her. Special shout out to Steph our server who really helped settle our daughter in and let her explore and experience the surroundings. Food was really good. The whole experience was great…they even got the mechanical bull going just for us! Would recommend.

Valentine's night very busy, anticipated a wait no big deal. We enjoyed having the quality time together enjoying each others company waiting for our mains. 💕 Our first drinks were provided swiftly once ordered. Our starters also prompt and appreciated this. We didn't have dessert. We enjoyed this venue as it offers something that little bit different. Credit to the staff, as they worked hard and remained polite friendly and professional. Quite refreshing for our Wolverhampton. We enjoyed the food we ordered and would happily return again, when we want to enjoy an alternative night out.

If I could rate 0 stars I would, we had a reservation at 7:15 pm, we ordered the valentines menu, the two cocktails took about 15 minutes, the cocktails themselves were two mouthfuls, if that. And as a side note I definitely saw Euroshopper cranberry juice on the bar. The set starter of 2 halloumi, 2 tenders and 2 burnt ends took 30 mins to arrive, with thumbprinted and food stained cutlery, sent those back and was met with a "ooh this happens all the time from the server". Eaten within 5 minutes. Ordered our mains OFF OF A SET COURSE MENU, 20 minutes after starters had been taken away. 20 minutes or so a waiter came back and said one of our fries upgrades was unavailable so requested somthing different. Queue another hour wait to receive our mains - dirty sanchez stacker = cold hunters chicken and fries and a rare rump steak they somehow managed to serve as well done. Requested a re-serve of the steak - the re-serve came with varying degrees of temperature due to the inconsistent thickness of the steak. Thin steaks are for rare, thick and uneven steaks are for medium well or well done. Ate the food, had plates taken away. We waited for our desert sharerer, this never turned up, at this point it was 10:30 and it felt like the restaurant was closing up, a line of people waiting to pay at the bar, the tables surrounding us almost all empty, so we decided enough was enough and went to the bar to pay and complain about the wait and service and state of the food we received. Upon complaining we received no apologies, the best they did was take off two drinks off the bill as a substitute to not having the desert. I understand that it was valentines day, but people who came in after us were received meals first including people who also ordered the valentines menu. The only plus of this restaurant is the music, the country vibes were great but as a restaurant it was awfull, I highly do not recommend eating here unless you fancy waiting around for hours for your food.

Amazing BBQ and really generous portions.

This place has a lot of potential but in all honesty it's not living up to it. Waiting times were shocking with no reassurance on when food would come. I understand it was going to be busy but watching other people who arrived well after you get their starters before you is off putting. Also, witnessed one customer offered peanuts as they were unhappy with the wait times after asking about thier food order 2 times. Food was decent but definitely not worth the wait. Music was too loud as you had to shout across the table to hear each other and I didn't even bother with dessert as i didn't want to wait another hour for it. Also didn't get the £10 booking fee taken off the bill at the end which was meant to be the case and got charged for a dessert we never got served.

Had a wonderful night at rodeos .. me and the wife had the valentine's menu. My steak was perfect . Food top notch The staff were amazing friendly and always at hand . The wife left very tipsy and very happy after trying quite a few cocktails lol .... . Loved the theme and stile of this pub /restaurant . . 110 percent happy. We would recommend rodeos to anyone .. may bring the grand kids next time as I want to try the sit on bull. Lol .

Not close to the real American food or atmosphere

Me and my son went today the food was amazing definitely will be going back! The service which we received from the lady called Morgan was brilliant so nice and friendly which made it even more enjoyable so thankyou Morgan and thankyou rodeos for our amazing food.

For me it is pretty average place - average food, average drinks, average atmosphere. It is far from the experience dining in American dinner in America I'm afraid. Owner of this place and staff don't have any idea of the true atmosphere and standards of the restaurants in the US, because it seems that they have never been in one. This is only "Western" themed restaurant, nothing more. There are some funny themes, but sticky tables, unpleasant smell, and loud random music played from YouTube is pushing off from this place. There are better places to experience American dining in the UK, and definitely Rodeos it is not one of them.

Visiting Rodeo’s on Valentine’s Day meant we expected it to be busy and for service to be on the slower side but what we experienced this evening was absolutely ridiculous. We were seated at 7:15pm and had our drinks order taken and we decided to go with the set Valentine’s Day menu. I have attached photos of the “sharer” starter and mains showing the time stamp from my camera roll just to show how long we were waiting. Just to reiterate, we expected service to be on the slower side however whilst waiting for our food, looking around we were seeing other diners who had arrived after ourselves being served food and drinks promptly (also from the set menu) which was rather frustrating. We ended up leaving as soon as we had eaten our mains (which were average) because we weren’t sure how long yet another wait would be for our desserts. If I had visited Trip Advisor ahead of our visit, we would’ve booked somewhere else because almost every negative review mentions the long wait times, so this just proves it wasn’t just because it was Valentine's Day for us. The waitresses/servers were nothing but polite and welcoming - that is the only positive from this evenings visit.

We was served by Laura Ann who was absolutely fabulous, she was extremely helpful and kid friendly. My son had a brill time on the bucking bronco. Overall we had a really nice time whilst visiting rodeos and will definetely be visiting again.

Saw on tic tok thought give it a try been to loads of places with bad BBQ and a USA flag not hear 10/10 BBQ and I'm fussy the waiting staff where fantastic with our allergies and could not have been more helpful music and atmosphere was amazing and I'm booking a table for the next live music night I drove 50 and can't wait to come back

Great food, great atmosphere, even better service.

As stated by previous people do not book large parties and pre order food because they can't cope. Waited 25 minutes just for a drink and then an hour half for food to come out.i spoke to the owner who thinks over an hour wait for food is totally acceptable, his attitude towards any sort of complaint is well don't come back. I certainly won't be back, plenty of other establishments that deserve my money.

I am going to break this review into two parts. I am a country music fan. This is a fantastic bar and grill, from the minute you walk through the door, you look around and you know this is as close as we will get to a honky tonk in the UK. If the adornments on the wall don't tell you, listen....When i walked in Alan Jackson was playing, during my time there was Alan Jackson, Jon Pardi, Josh turner, Cody Johnson and Zach Bryan. They love their country music. Did I mention there was bull riding in there too. If you want a bar with the best music playing, head to Rodeos. I am not a country music fan. The music may not be for you, but if you are not into it, its not obtrusive, you can hear yourself speak and really, the food speaks for itself. Its so good to have a bar b q place that does ribs right, big old marinated, tender ribs, as well home made nachos, or mac and cheese, really great food that is the star of the show. Proper portions that will try their best to ensure that you leave a little bit. There is also a great selection of beers and cocktails. Finally, the service was excellent, not over powering, friendly and regardless of if you are there for the music or not, its a great place to eat, a short walk from the station, or from town. Absolutely loved it and can't wait to return.

We went on Saturday January 2l7th we were a birthday party 11 when we got there the owner was at the door saying hello we were seated we waited 30 minutes for our drinks and 1hour and 30 minutes for our starter our friends starter never come till we had eaten our then waited 2hour for our main which was not good at all cold and very dry the singer was changed so not to good at all we did call the manager a girl which she wasn't not interested at all the boss did. One and he was so lovely it was a shame but we will return

From the bad parking to the lack of service. If you have a large group then I would not book here as staff can’t cope with large bookings. Pre ordering is the best way to ensure food comes out correctly, which made it easier. Food itself wasn’t very tasty. Salmon was plain , couldn’t see or taste the spices states on the menu. Macaroni and cheese although good portion size again was average. Kids weren’t allowed to ride the bull as there was an event on after our table but weren’t told of this when we arrived? Knives and forks plonked down on table on one side for group of 15 and handed after half the table had the mains. For prices paid service and food was not worth it.

Firstly when we booked we informed the venue we are a large party. There was 20 of us, it seems you can not cater for a big party. All our food was pre ordered to make life Easier for everyone.. We was booked for 4 but we was All seated for 4.15 as the parking was limited and struggled for parking (not your fault) we understand that. We didn't get a drink untill 5 o'clock Food didn't come out untill 5.30 But in the mean time we ask when could the children ride the bull. We got told 3 times by staff will be over in a moment to sign waivers. We signed the waivers but still waited for our turn after asking 3 times we didn't want to be to pushy, then buy 6.15 we was told we could not go on the bull as the venue had a private booking soon and everyone need to leave soon and that they was too busy for us to go on the bull ride. Our children were well let down after waiting a long time to go on. So In total we have 4 let down children. So our children sat there watched other children going on. We thought we had to wait in some sort of order. For us to ask again and be told it was no longer available to go on. My children was so upset. I think the bull ride is what stands out in this restaurant from the rest but then that was taken away. Certain staff were great but others just not fully trained. Won't be going again, really let down. The place looked the part. Food was actually nice. But poor management.
