Rodeos BBQ in Wolverhampton

Extremely slow service food was much worse than when it first opened. I will not be returning. 48 minutes to get a burger is atrocious. 2 drinks isn't wolfing down. Why don't you focus customer service and value for money instead of making cheap jokes about someone being unhappy. FYI mc Donald's have manners unlike the low class Person responding. 50 quid for something reminiscent of a McDonald's meal

First visit to the live show. Even though our party got there early we couldn't get a drink for over 30mins even though I went to the bar to get them myself and was told to sit back down and a server would be over which didn't happen for quite a while. We didn't receive our main meal until 9.30pm (over 2hrs after arrival) and when we did we had to wait 10mins for cutlery with our food going cold. Meat platter wasn't great it was very dry and chewy. Tend to prioritise the big parties as appose to the smaller groups. Only plus was the nachos starter. UPDATE: After Rodeos asked me to email them to discuss my comment which I did a couple of weeks ago I am still awaiting a reply!!!! Just shows their comments are for publicity only with no intentions of resolving customer complaints

If you love country music, good food and great atmosphere you will love this place. The entertainment was fantastic, food was gorgeous and the staff and venue so much fun. It was a fun packed weekend and we cant wait to go back.

My husband and myself were in Wolverhampton for the day supporting my brother's MMA tournament and went here for food. We honestly absolutely loved it here. The serving staff were so kind and helpful and our main server Amy was fantastic! I am allergic to tomatoes and ensured that the kitchen staff carefully catered to my allergy. The food was absolutely incredible and we loved the American, Route 66 cowboy theme, it was so immersive and fun! We can't thank you's enough and already wanna come.back again! 🤠🐄 My husband Alan said it had "the rootinest- tootinest food around!" Yeeehawww!

Wasn’t welcomed very well, the customer service is dreadful! The girl at the bar just left us when we come in so another lady had to seat us. No one botherd to ask how our food was. chips tasted like grease and the mayo was sour ! Chicken was over cooked, wasn’t happy just wanted to go. We went up to the bar for the bill as no one was coming to us and I told the lady about the food she offerd to get mananger but at this point I just wanted to go as I felt sick from how bad the food acually was. The place its self is lovely and would make a lovely restaurant with a staff turnover and a new chef 👩‍🍳

Food was to die for the meat just melted in your mouth. The singer who was on did lots of different types of music and was a great singer

Came on Saturday 12th October for the Mick White event. I have never been so disgusted by hospitality staff in my life. Two members of the bar staff Reece and Blonde woman who refused to provide her name, when asked can I speak to management about a charge falsely told me that the blonde woman was management and after explaining my issue laughed and said she isn’t really management. Tried to make out that I was the issue and was asking for the world when I payed for a 2 course meal which I couldn’t eat due to being told there wasn’t sauce on and when presented there was. When questioned got told ‘only a little bit’. I was offered a replacement but was told that all food will have the sauce due to being cooked on the same grill as others. Amy was our server and she was nice enough and I did not blame her at any point. Reece and another girl spoke to us pleasantly but the blonde bar maid was absolutely vile. I would expect more when your large party’s bill was easily over £1000 and will not be returning.

This is going to be a honest review . This was our first time coming here and it wasnt very good . The starters were amazing though , the brisket was lovely so were the nachos , couldn’t fault that. I think it took about an hour for us to get our main food maybe even longer , when it came the 2 steaks that were supposed to be medium rare were well done and so dry , they also smelt and tasted like fish, so not sure whether or not they were cooked in the same oil they cook the salmon with. Didn’t ask us if we had any allergy’s, one of us could have been allergic to fish which could have ended very badly. They offered us a free drink or dessert for their mistake 🤯 The whole place is a vibe though couldn’t fault that. When we asked for the bill I think we were all shocked , no one told us it was extra to ride the bull , they did tell us it was extra for the hats which was fine but never told us it was extra for the bull. £261 wasted tbh don’t think we’ll be back. To add in everyone in the party has bad bellys today. Also don’t think writing sarky comments to bad reviews is very professional. Not everyone has the same experience

Visited today for early lunch around 12.30 which appeared to be delivery day for the restaurant. We were greeted welcomingly by Morgan who escorted us up the stairs to our table. As expected the restaurant was quiet as recently opened for the day. We liked the themed decor and the country music and we were sat in one of the booths which was ideal. The menu has a great variety and many options to build your meal however I did have to Google what a couple of the items were (frickles, I now know are fried pickles 😅) We ordered the 3 meats (sliced brisket, torn BBQ pork and the short rib) with skin on fries. We also ordered a Mac & Cheese with Bacon and then 3 sides (Texan Toast, onion rings and corn dogs) washed down with a few brew dogs. The food was cooked perfectly with lots of flavour. The short rib was a fairly small portion but well worth the addition with the other 2 meats. Also the Mac & Cheese deserves a mention, not cheap but tasty enough to justify the price. 3 sides for a tenner is excellent value, particularly the corn dogs which again tasted fantastic. The food total was £47 which for the quality of food and portion size was excellent value and we were also provided with takeaway bags for our leftovers. Morgan was a great host, friendly, professional and still relatable. Overall if you are after a budget cheap meal this is not your place but if you want a fine dining experience with good food and service then give this place a try. Downside is the car park isn't great. I would imagine if the place was busy you might struggle with parking

We came last night to celebrate my birthday with friends. We had the best time! The food is lovely, atmosphere is fun and the girls who were serving are all so friendly and happy to help. We didn't have to look for anyone once they were always just there at the right time. The singer was good and the rodeo bull was the icing on the cake! A fab time was had by all. Thank you!

Wouldn’t recommend. We visited for father’s day and had an extremely poor experience. The food was inedible due to being so dry. A manager said they would get the kitchen to recook our shared main meal, which included all different meats. They returned stating that the chef had only agreed to change certain meats on the dish! The customer service was poor. The restaurant clearly can’t facilitate busier periods. Even though they require a non refundable deposit per head for every booking, so they should be able to be prepared. I’ve contacted the restaurant twice regarding this complaint and haven’t received a response. They also gave us children’s menus which said kids meals were free with a paying adult. When the bill came they had charged us. When I questioned this they said it didn’t apply on Father’s Day. This is completely fair enough but should 100% be communicated beforehand when advertising something that doesn’t apply! It’s a shame as the restaurant is a fun concept, the food and service however is something to avoid!

We visited today after we had saw a video of it on Tik Tok. And I have to say, it did not disappoint. Was a very nice atmosphere in there and the food was phenomenal. My son has Autism and ADHD and doesn’t eat a lot of food options but he cleared his plate so it most definitely says a lot about the food. It’s a perfect place that is tucked away in the most amazing setting. We will 110% be returning for the best food around 10/10!!

This is the first time we have been here and I wish this place was closer to home. The decor and music is brilliant, the food excellent and the staff are so friendly. If you like country then you will love this place. It may be a little more expensive than some places but it is definitely worth paying a little more to get the quality food that's available. If I ever come back this way again I will most certainly be visiting! Thank you for a very enjoyable couple of hours 👍

A slice of Cowboy Americana in Wolverhampton! The burgers we had were incredible and easily one of the best I’ve ever had (Oklahoma Burger) while the staff were super attentive and friendly. The cowboy hats and the rodeo bull was a great hit with the kids. Overall a fantastic place to dine and enjoy the atmosphere. Would really like to come back when they have some live music on too.

Route 66 platter is 5 Star value for money (at least 4 sharing.!!) A worthwhile experience for anyone looking for a fun All American Experience.!! 3 time for us & see y’all again soon “0) ps.. Love u Goggs ❤️

How difficult is it to cook nachos? We waited almost 2 hours without any food, kept being told that the food was ready and just needed to be plated..it doesnt take 45 minutes to assemble a burger?? Im sorry but I will never come back, disgustingly slow service and non-apologetic staff. Being told you were understaffed makes no difference because you should not be open if you can’t accommodate a 5 table restaurant.. Come on. So disappointed.

Booked an anniversary meal for Wednesday 28th Aug, received a phone call to say they would have to cancel due to staff illness. Rebooked for Sunday 3rd Sep, arrived at 6pm half an hour early but were shown to a table. Table was still dirty from the previous diners, but that was cleaned when we asked. Ordered drinks and they arrived shortly afterwards, ordered food 20 mins/after arriving including a nachos starter. Waited nearly an hour and had to ask staff where the starter was. Starter arrived and we asked for the mains to be bought out as we had been told they were being “plated up”. Mains didn’t arrive so after over an hour and a half of waiting we gave up and left. Disappointed is an understatement, we were told short staffed in the kitchen, so I said you should have called and cancelled us again as you had on Wednesday and not waste our time. At least three other tables also gave up and left, what a letdown.

100% avoid this place. Waited 1hour 30mins for food. Still didn’t come, asked twice how long it’d be and got told they’d get back to us. Staff never bothered to update us. So called Manager didn’t seem bothered that people were leaving his restaurant disappointed. Offered no discount on the drinks we had ordered and paid for. We were just one table out of a few that also left with us due to the same experience.

We wasted 1.5 hours just sitting and waiting for our food. Despite repeatedly asking the staff for an update, they seemed completely unbothered and uninterested. No one had the decency to come back and reassure us or provide any explanation. Looking around the restaurant, it was clear we weren’t the only ones frustrated—almost everyone was complaining and waiting for their food as well. The restaurant was poorly managed. We eventually left without our food. This was a complete waste of time, and I won’t be returning!

Very poor , was looking forward to a nice meal and night out , we ended up waiting too too long , the service was honest as the waitress pointed out that a meal would need sauce to be edible , was confused until we began to eat , The pit master was the pits , underwhelming, cold , over cooked , We asked for steak , medium , we got a well done steak sent it back , only to be given the very same steak , donno how you try to rare up a steak, but they tried( bless em ) Dirty fries with cold chicken sprinkled over it to make a mouth watering dish fit for any sewer Rat , We tried a veggy option after many fails because they didn't have any of the menu options, we finally agreed to the veggy burger , which came back burnt and sweet , such a shame this place has the right credentials but for the manager to blame the lack of staff for the poor standards , saying the chef had called in sick ( what !! For a whole year ) the reviews speak for itself . Moaned at the guy behind the bar about food n service blamed lack of staff , but offerd no discount , no real care given , so it must of been our fault , maybe you have to have extreme amounts of alcohol to eat this wood textured offerings on a cold skillet . Never complain to this degree but when you look forward to a nice night out and get this crap , and it ain't cheap , I feel robbed and not fed .

We attended for a friends birthday £29.50 per person set menu . Live music by an Elvis tribute. Orders were taken , however the staff that served us was very young but tried her best on a table of 12 . Once the order was placed , we asked to make a change - the staff member disappeared and out popped another member who then had to take the order all over again because the “young un” had a melt down - , so in total it took around 20 mins to get the order on the books , after an initial 20 min wait , the starters came out and were great after about 15mins - then we had a massive 45min wait for the mains - which we received 4 out of 12 then were told we had been given the wrong tables food and the rest would be even longer . Eventually all the food arrived but this was like 10pm from an 800 arrival . So you can imagine the deserts then arrived at 1030pm .Honestly if it wasn’t for the elvis tribute which was awesome , 12 people would have walked out of the place . That said we were offered some complimentary wings and deserts , however after waiting that long for the food it wasn’t really going to be enjoyed . All in all an OK night but please please read the review and get your floor staff trained properly for busy nights ! You are doing more damage than you know with poor service……. This is my second visit in 12 months and sorry to say the service is still in need of some work . Great atmosphere though and the bull is always a good touch .but if somebody asks about the place I’m not sure what my response would be ……

I’ve been here many times… always thought it was a good place. I decided to take my nephews… we was so happy cos we was hungry so I chose to bring them here. After we walked the stairs to get in to the venue we reached the top and waited to be seated. We see many of the booths empty and tables. A women walks over to us and said “there’s too many lads” and told us to go…. I said this isn’t a nightclub, I don’t care about the boy to girl ratio, we want to eat and leave. She said we won’t be getting served today and walked off. After hyping this place up to my nephews that was their experience on this place and they have vowed to never go there again. Instead we went hickories and was swiftly served and the food made rodeos taste like a microwave meal. Me or my family will never be going here again but we will definitely be going hickories more often If I could give rodeos no stars I would but you need to give a star to post the review

Thank you rodeos bought friends in last week and dad in for birthday this evening , everytime food is 10/10 , we had route 66 both times and the meat is like no other .. the decor is amazing and just keeps getting better and better live music and rodeo bull I love this place as does every person I take there really is the place to go in Wolverhampton .amazes us everytime from my 10 year old son to 66 year old dad everyone loves it and says it's the best food xx

Came on Saturday afternoon and the whole experience was great. The food was lovely and our server Violet was soo lovely and friendly she was brilliant! Loved seeing the rodeo bull and people having a go! Will definitely be going again!

We came to have a few small dishes to eat and try the American cocktails. We hadn’t booked and were pleasantly surprised when they sat us straight to a table. The atmosphere was brilliant! They had a live singer who was great and got everyone involved, also a moving bull which was fun to watch but after a few drinks fun to take part in! Staff were friendly and food was good, it took a little while for food and drinks to arrive at the table but the atmosphere was so fun it wasn’t an issue really. Our Thursday night was a lot better than accepted we had a fantastic time and will be back to try the food properly, cheers to all the staff. See you soon!

Bottomless brunch: food ok/average, they have a rule that the table needs to finish their drinks before they'll "let" you have another. Also used 45 min of the allocated time on the bull so they could minimise the amount of drinks provided. Def not worth the money. Edit: reply from the venue suggests responsible drinking. When someone on the table wants to take 30 min to drink a cocktail as they don't usually drink alcohol - making the rest of the table wait is a cost saving exercise. Not social responsibility. Own your policy and see if others appreciate your approach.

We gad a great night at Rodeo BBQ. The food was cooked to perfection , the service by Ruby our server was first class, the atmosphere was electric with fantastic country music and rodeo mechanical bull. Our first visit but it won't be our last fir sure.

What a fantastic night, great food, a live act Ryan Evans who puts on a great country rock act. An unbelievable great atmosphere. Ruby our server you're a star. Ruby even got me a margarita off menu. It's been a long time since I've enjoyed an evening so much.

Luther Vandross tribute we saw was excellent.The staff were attentive and polite, and a great vibe. Food was standard pub fair and it is a very limited menu.

Came yesterday with my daughters and one my daughters mother in law and have to say we had the best time there the staff are amazing and the food and drinks were top notch, admittedly it took us longer to get onto the bull than the time we actually lasted on the bull 🤣 but the laughs we had even attempting it were priceless, decor was fantastic, it is more or less right next door to the train station so when we next visit we might travel by train so we can all taste test the impressive drinks menu properly haha it really is a unique experience the owner has done a fantastic job also well done to all staff servers and the chiefs it isn’t just about the place it’s the people working there that make it great

Had a wonderful night here for the 2nd time! Was a very hot day so inside was extremely hot, but we had fans around us and everything was done to make our experience comfortable and fun. Food is incredible and service was on point. Our server Ruby was always there checking in and she is a credit to the team! Well done guy's keep up the hard work!

Oh dear where to start? The setup of the restaurant looks good but small. We started with a free Sangria , obviously non of the 17yr olds serving or the 23 yr old managers had ever seen Sangria in their lives, it was disgusting. Then the menus are presented where you get to pick one starter and main all for £38!!! Fries, nachos or chicken wings to start and then 4 options for main which included a veggie burger or vegan steak ….. unbelievable. So in reality you could have a burger or chicken. I chose the nachos which were complete trash and the burger which was average. Do not under any circumstances waste your hard earned money on this establishment.

Horrible customer service when we tried to complain and say his unhappy we were we were simply presented with our bill and told there was nothing they could do! AVOID! Total rip off!

We came as soon as it opened at 12, so plenty of parking at that time of the day. Friendly greeting and seated right away. We ordered two main meals off the normal menu to apply for the kids each free offer, however the lunch time menu + paid kids meals is about the same price in most case (just more selection on the main menu). The food was very tasty and large portions. Would recommend and definitely coming back.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour we came 8 people and they saw how many people we were and then told us we can only order sides . Then i went outside and ask a couple who just came out if they were able to order mains and they said yes and they told us aswell that a family of 6 came before us and order mains normally. We were excited to try their food and they do this.

The place is an absolute furnace. No air. No air con. Prepare to swelter. As such the service feels horrendously slow. I had to go and get our drinks off the bar after watching them just sat there for ages. Good took an age to come and when it did it was ok. Sort out the air con and the food service. Not impressed at all.

I visited this restaurant recently at first the experience was okay and the food wasn’t bad however my night was spoilt by customer service. When I left the restaurant my car had been horrifically blocked in with someone just parking directly behind me with no note. We could find the owner so chose to continue with plans then return. 3 hours later I return still blocked in. Ask at the restaurant and they say nothing they can do and they’ve checked with everyone. I just had to stand and wait in the car park until restaurant closing at 11..30pm. Long story short 11.30pm came and went then I went back to the restaurant for another try and found that the owner was a staff member. I received no apology and when we said we’ve been blocked in for 6 hours a member of our group has had to pay for a taxi home as she has a child and we’d even reported it to the police. There was no reply to myself just one girl turned to the owner “don’t worry you’ve only blocked someone in no one cares” didn’t even address me. I contacted the restaurant after to which I got a sorry but the main comment was we can’t control parking in a private car park. I appreciate that but not when it’s staff, no note nothing just parked across the back of a customer car and didn’t think about it for 6 hours. Really disappointed with customer service, rudeness of staff, lack of apology on the night, lack of customer service after the event and no real help given. My friend had a similar incident at a different place, they gave them a drink and table whilst they waited and did regular announcements across the bar they felt really looked after. I stood in a car park in the dark for 2 hours.

Loved it here. Food, music and drinks were amazing. Morgan was truly attentive and friendly. We will 100% be coming back
