It's been years since I've been here and that was due to poor food quality, bad customer service and unwelcoming atmosphere. So choosing to come here this morning after a night shift was guess on the outcome. To my surprise....it felt really different.....atmosphere was nice, already customers enjoying breakfast.... Great offers especially for breakfast and a small breakfast, extra slice of toast and a hot drink (free refill) at a great price. Service was prompt and helpful and customer service was excellent. Free WiFi toboot. Definitely will return and if this place has had new mangers running it over the last few years then well done.

Joke absolute joke, one person serving who ever, walked after waiting 15 mins

Ordered the steak asked for well done ...well done does not mean cremated . I spoke to one of the clearing staff told her the steak was terrible and I was taking it home for my dogs . She looked me in the eye cleared the plates and laughed as she walked away . If that is staff training I would certainly look at training methods and the use of manners ! Manners cost nothing that steak cost me £13 .... not a happy customer.

Prompt service after easy ordering experience, directed to self service coffee machines was helpful! Food was good. Avocado muffin should be called onion muffin, barely even noticed the avocado on it! Scrambled eggs were a watery at the bottom but all food was good enough. Pepsi served was flat and without flavour so had to ask for a replacement man who served was helpful and kind. Tables were dirty also.

Good pub with acceptable kitchen and very good prices (so far at least)

This was my first visit to the moon underwater. It is as good as any wetherspoons I have been to. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the service was very quick. There was an excellent, wide choice of beers largers and cider, including some excellent cask conditioned real ales at very cheap prices. The pub was very clean despite it being a match day and very busy. Update the staff are brilliant for disabled visitors.

I'm abdys wife whi is disabled. The diabled tiolets are disgusting and smell of urine. It's all over the floor when discussed with a member of staff she replied we cannot check on them all the while. They are left open so any idle non diabled person can use. Disgusting and smelly score ÷10]0]%

Customer invisibility as norm in weatherspoons

This was a nice pub for drinking, with a neat interior and well-presented counter. Pint of cider was cheap and the seating is comfortable, although it is quite dead and the area is rather run down.

Can't complain about a spoons you know what you're getting everytime

I would usually go elsewhere in the vicinity for my solo meals but after having a nice time here with my boyfriend I decided to give it a go. My other place had let me down big time with food quality and they don't have the lovely plum porter 😋 I had a lovely curry on my own, the staff were very friendly and nice. Yeah it's not the cleanest of places but for the price, quality and atmosphere it will be my new go to for solo dinners from now on 🙂

I would never go here by myself usually I used to use another pub in the same vicinity for my solo pub grub meals. However they were a let down when I needed them to put their best foot forward. So I decided after enjoying myself with my boyfriend here that I'd try the place by myself. I really enjoyed the atmosphere it was really relaxed and friendly. The food was much better than I expected and of course they have plum porter it's absolutely lovely dark ale. Great night last night I'll be in more often especially with the value for money and great ales.

Prices OK. Handy for the Station.

Had an enjoyable pint here. Clean and pleasant staff. Inexpensive.

Had to wait a while for all the food to come out so we could all eat together (family of 4 eating a main meal each and one side to share). The food was nice and not overly expensive, brought us sides we hadn't ordered, and the server just shrugged when we told them. I believe they are shutting down soon for a major refurbishment that will include a hotel and museum. Watch this space...

Always nice to spend time in this Wetherspoon

With all Weatherspoons, I very rarely go unless I am forced to by the people I am with. This is your typical Weatherspoons that is not seriously suited for kids, with extremely drunk, smelly people ordering the cheapest booze they can get from the time the doors open at 9am. Service was not great, and the food was appalling. The Katsu Curry was so small it could have been off the kids' menu, and the chicken itself was just chewy and fiberous ... this goes to say, you really do get what you pay for. What is interesting is it goes to show that my opinions on Weatherspoons as a whole are not good, as this was honestly one of the better ones I had been to, yet so bad. Weatherspoons, you really need to set some restrictions on alcoholic drinks early in the morning. It's disgusting and probably influences the younger generation into bad decisions, especially when some of the clientele visiting are the poorest families with their children, looking for the cheapest meal out.

Great place to meet up for drinks and adult conversation without the annoying DJ drowning you out and no spotty loud teens.

Just what you expect from JD Wetherspoons. Great service, great food, and great atmosphere

Was a Friday morning, order a large and normal breakfast which come to £11 and come out in 10min , delicious well cooked breakfast , will be going again.

Prefer loos on same level for safety & makes it easier especially when people have had a few to drink ...

Not the best looking Spoons but the service and food was good

Unfortunately we've not had the best experience recently. A friend and family member (child) had some Loaded fries before we went to watch a show at the grand theatre , around 5.15pm, both from separate households , no one else in our group ate. Both people who did eat ended up being violently ill around 4.30 next morning. We rang to report it and they said contact head office. We can't find this pub on the drop down menu when we use the contact form and then we need our receipt number to report it either way which unfortunately was not given to us at the bar. We are aware things can happen but the fact we can't report this effectively and stop it happening again is really poor.

I've eaten here before, with my last visit observing that plenty of tables were left uncleared and sticky. There's been little improvement - although there's plenty of vacant tables they're still chock full of the last visitor's meal/drinks. We popped in for brunch; I had the ham (two thin slices), eggs (two fried, one with a broken yolk) and chips which filled a hole. My colleague opted for the all-day brunch (included chips), surprised to find they had some good sausages included. The next day I also went for a breakfast and enjoyed the filling breakfast on offer. It's cheap and you get what you pay for, but they really could do with getting tables regularly cleared and wiped down between visits; it just feels very neglected (or understaffed)

Great hot drinks. Very comfortable pub, warm welcome. Great value and good location.

Came to Wolverhampton on a day out used my bus pass free travel lol . After wondering around found Wetherspoon for lunch. Not too busy even got a booth to sit in. Not long to wait for food, the staff were friendly. American burger and a pint less than £7

It's a great city centre pub and its right opposite the grand theatre in Wolverhampton, so it's ideal for planning a fabulous night out

Only poped in for a couple of drinks. Very very dark and dated. More of a over 50s pub really. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lots of stairs to get to the toilets. Did not see a disabled one upstairs. Good price on beer ect. I couldn't comment on the food. Update. We visited again and not much has changed. Cheap drinks if that's what your looking for. Plenty of dealing going on inside and on the door which don't give the venue a very safe feel. Felt like a pub from the 80s with absolutely no atmosphere. I couldn't comment of food as we only had drinks. Smoking area outside the front doors. Unfortunately wouldn't be somewhere I personally would visit again. But if your the sort of person who likes a cheap drink. Pick up a deal and sit in a dead pub for a chin wag or working girl then this maybe the pub for you

Visited The Moon Under Water Wetherspoons recently and had a great time. The atmosphere was lively, and the staff were friendly. The food was good value for money, with a wide variety of options. The selection of drinks was impressive, and service was quick. Overall, a solid spot for a casual meal and drinks.

Your typical Wetherspoons, cheap breakfast with unlimited tea and coffee… can’t go wrong! Food came out quickly and was hot.

Food was terrible had the all day breakfast, which was cold, tasteless and had a sausage missing from which I was told it fell off the plate but they didn't bother replacing it, I then had to wait around five minutes for the waitress to go and get one, who seemed put out for being asked to do, a poor show from this wetherspoons, disappointed as usually I can't complain about wetherspoons pubs being cheap cheerful and value for money, but this one was awful tbh 👎

I really love this pub. Having recently moved to Wolverhampton, of course I've popped in. My order was made on the app. My order arrived very quickly. Both me and my friend thought it was superb value and cheaper offers than my old regular "spoons". I always meet such an interesting mix of people here which is brilliant. I'll be back soon.

Was served a drink in a dirty glass and was made to wait, bar staff seemed unable to cope with a busy bar not a great first impression

Took 15 mins for my pepsi max ordered on app. Then my hot chocolate fudge cake was stone cold and the ice cream was completely melted - they replaced with another cold one. Not impressed.

Spoons on a Saturday night. Full of 'unique' individuals. Most of them you probably shouldnt trust alone in a full bath of water.

Excellent service and soft drinks.

We often go on a Tuesday as it is 'steak night.' You can get a sirloin steak and a salad or chips, plus a drink for a tenner. The service is quick, if you order on line your drinks arrive within a couple of minutes, followed very quickly by your food. I admit that we have had the odd steak that was not quite up to par, but the quality is usually very good.

A really good pub, the breakfast has a variety of options with food options throughout the day. The booths add a different experience with friendly staff. I would rate this for now, the best experience of pub breakfast within Wolverhampton city centre.

Disgustingly dirty. I visit everyday. Everyday I have to sit at a dirty table. I wouldn't eat there if you paid me. The service is very poor. However, I go after work for a drink so it's handy. I would not recommend to anyone else unless they are visiting the theatre for a show. The photo shows a table in front of me that was there when I arrived and when I left 2 hours later.

Very busy pub, right opposite the Grand Theatre. Good food at very reasonable prices. Good, fast service with polite staff. Toilets leave a lot to be desired though
