Beefeater in Wolverhampton

Ordered food at 7:30pm Ate our food at 9:15pm.... parts of food was cold and portion sizes were a joke for what you pay !!! Chose to sit elsewhere for our final drink waitresses were cleaning tables down etc etc At 10:20pm we were asked by the Manager if our 14 yr old could go outside not allowed in bar area, apologies, its not worth my licence. SAY NO MORE !!! Shall NOT be returning, absolute shocking...

Stayed at the Premier Inn...after a very long car journey, we had a late meal. Absolutely great service and delicious food. We were served by Sarah, who really did look after us, her attentiveness and warmth really made our evening very enjoyable. She made us so welcome and gave us her time, it was very a very busy evening, this did not prevent the service from being exceptional in any way. Thankyou to Sarah and the staff at this great restaurant. We will book this again for sure on our next Wolverhampton trip.

Booked a room for a private avent which we paid for and also paid for them to cater for the food and the scummy manager wouldnt even allow us to bring in a few capri sun drinks for kids as they " sell their own kids drinks " needless to say most of us bought drinks from a local shop and topped the glasses up in the car park. Lost out big time all because of greed.

Had my Great Nephews wake here, the food they provided was tasty and plentiful. Service was spot on.

I went on the 18/4/25, I had a mixed grill, it is what it is. But it was very small to what I was expecting, reading other posts it seems as though pre Rachel Thieves' Ni hike everything seems fine, but now all hospitality services seem to be hiking prices and producing child size portions. So I am giving the beefeater the benefit of the doubt. As for the service you really can't fault it.

The staff were lovely but the place is in desperate need of a refurb. I wouldn’t want to eat there tbh - it’s dark & there were tissues/napkins everywhere all over the floor. The chair I sat on needed recovering as the leather seat was completely worn and just came across as grubby. I just felt it all needed a good clean - I would have been disgusted if that was my food option next to the premier inn!

5 of the steaks good one that looked the best was stringy it happens. Not charge for it.Beer choice is non-existent. No pewns for the starters but prawns for the surf and turf

Nuestro servidor Caitlin estaba en la pelota con alergias alimentarias, que era excelente para nosotros. El personal estaba muy ocupado toda la noche, pero aún así logró dar un gran servicio. Definitivamente volveré.

Buffet breakfast with family over a weekend. A bit busy. Recommend making a reservation. Friendly staff. Breakfast spread was great. Especially the hot dishes. Loved the sausage and hash browns. The bread section and drinks were great. Economical since kids eat free. Paid 21 gbp for a family of 4. That is a great value for money I must say. Did this twice.

Just been with my family of 8 spent £90+ with a 40% off mains voucher and honestly not sure if that was the reasons our food was small but we ended up in McDonald's straight after the portion sizes are ridiculous for the prices. staff were okay but the food is bland and very over priced nothing you couldn't get in a wetherspoons won't be visiting again.

Very clean restaurant with friendly staff and tasty food, chef needs a mention as food always hit and well cooked.

Food was standard, little pricey for what you get on some things. Service was ok. People in the bar area seemed to get more attention than restaurant guests. Atmosphere was ok too, refurbishment is needed as in places its looking drab and dirty, glass doors all covered in finger prints. It's off-putting, especially when you've just opened, so not as if it's happened throughout the day more like left for a while.

Great restaurant, food was great and Sam the waitress was excellent. All four of us really enjoyed our meals will be visiting again.

arrived for breakfast this morning. we were shown to our seats and told it was buffet service which was fine until we got to the buffet ! Firstly the bacon was fatty and very under cooked , sausages looked like they were only cooked on one side , egg was congealed. Not a good start but we plated up . The toaster must be set on high as the toast was semi-cremated !! Once we were seated i tried the sausages and it was stone cold along with the mushrooms and egg!!! We noticed they were bringing fresh food out so put our plates to the side and went to get fresh food . Nancy one of the waitresses came and took our cold food away and was heard to say "apparently the food is cold!" . Obviously if they had tried the food there's elves they would have been aware of this ! We found this very rude and will definitely not be returning until the staff get proper customer service skills !!! Please note it was not just ourselves that commented on the cold food also one lady told myself "it's usually better than this the bacon is all scraps!"

Had breakfast which was very tasty, plenty on offer, and priced reasonably.

Excellent service from Sam this evening, so good to have a waitress who pays attention to their customers with a smile..

14 of us had lovely meal but as soon as we had eaten was told to move so sat some were else then told again to move so it's ok to take our money for food but couldn't carry on drinking there

The mac and cheese at lunchtime was appalling

Very basic food.. steak was very burnt, I have a piece of sponge in my drink.. kids was still hungry after eating but had to be out by 9 so couldn’t get them anything else, small meals for what you pay. Staff was welcoming lady with the glasses and short hair got us a table quickly even though we hadn’t booked. Wouldn’t eat there again

For a food chain this is one of the better ones. I’ve never had an issue with the food or drink hear. Staff have always been very friendly and helpful. It can be a little slow with receiving drinks however I do understand they are busy. The restaurant has always been clean including the toilets. Nice little bar area too. This places is used a lot from the hotel next door. Plenty of parking including extra wide disabled bays suitable for wheelchair users or people who need to open the door fully. PS prices have gone up with the new menu and no Stilton cheese with the steak which is a shame

The service was excellent Sarah our waitress was as always both friendly and efficient. We eat here often and the manager Alan runs both a tight ship and is always on hand to serve tables when needed. This is a top Beefeater restaurant. Highly recommended. If we eat here it must be good. Lord and Lady Bickley

I always stay at the Premier next door purely because the staff and the service at the Beefeater here are so lovely. Friendly, helpful courteous and attentive. Nothing is too much trouble. They always have a smile for the clientele. The food is always well presented, hot and tasty and it makes such a difference to feel welcome when away from home on business. The manager is welcoming and friendly and match his staff in personal prompt and efficient service. Thank you

Just had a meal here as a family of 11 and all food was delicious, staff were fantastic, very welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere was brilliant, I honestly can not fault anything we're all had a fantastic night. Will definitely recommend this place to others and will be booking again.

Amazing staff and amazing food party of 12 and everything came out fresh and very hot and all together which was awesome even better with the discount we had aswell massive hi five to the chef and cooks and the guys behind the bar and servers fish was amazing and all the others meals were massive and looked great will definitely be coming back to try different items on menu 🤗😁🤩😋

Really lovely food at Beefeater this evening. We are visiting from Cornwall and found the staff very friendly and the food was delicious. Sarah and Alan were absolutely lovely and looked after us really well. The food was delicious and there was very minimal wait time. Thanks guys ☺️

After been recommended by a friend, tried beefeater ultimate breakfast and was not disappointed staff friendly, service brilliant and a great selection of hot and cold food also a good selection of hot and cold drinks, would highly recommend to anyone who wants a great breakfast and value for money give beefeater a try

I stay at the premier inn for work quite regular it’s one of my fav hotels and the restaurant has Great food always very well prepared and cooked. The staff are always friendly and always has a smile even when they’re really busy. Tonight I was served by Elise and last night was Natalie both very professional. Again always have a smile and cant be any more helpful.

The host was good; however, the bartender was not engaging, and the waitress was rude. I was served the wrong meal, and when I questioned this, I was told it was the correct burger. Moments later, the waitress came back with my burger and took the other one away, and gave it to another guest. I had already seasoned and started eating the chips!

Went here for an unlimited breakfast with some friends. The breakfast was cooked or continental with a wide variety to chose from. Tea, coffee and all the fruit juices to have. Tables were clean and staff welcoming. Will definitely be coming ɓack

My partner and I ate here yesterday evening, pretty quiet for a Saturday but was a nice atmosphere and we were very much looked after by Elise who made sure our food came out exactly how we wanted. Service was amazing, food was lovely and tasty. Steaks were all cooked perfectly and everything came out just as we wanted.

Very very very very bland food . Very basic finish with no wow factor. Fish was like something from Iceland and peas were dry . Definitely not a place to recommend. The service was great from the gentleman servers . Front of house girl was very cold in her approach with not welcoming smile . All in all I would not recommend if you enjoy good food . Pricey for what you get . Sorry guys you need to improve especially on the food .

We came for Christmas Lunch..The booking wasn't easy. Paid a deposit to a young girl who didn't really seem happy and sniffing all the time. Got a call some weeks later to ask for our deposit otherwise we would loose the table!! Christmas day we had our starter 45 minutes after arrival. When asking the waiter if we could have some food after 40 minutes, suddenly a lady appeared and said you asked to see me???? We were informed that 2 large tables were in of 10 and 9 so they were serving those then a table of 4 and 3 were next before us!! Was that my problem?? The starter was pat'e and ok but why do you get a piece of cardboard to go with it ? Because possibly it was easier than making toast? Dinner was ok but roasts seemed frozen and the sprouts? 3 small pieces of turkey and just personally I would have liked some mashed potato..this took another 20 minutes to arrive..amazingly the sweet was quicker mainly because they needed the table back as we had not long finished when we were asked to leave. Thank goodness we didn't want to stay for the coffee and mince pie as there wasn't enough time. For the cost of this meal it would have been nice to be better looked after and a quality dinner..I have been here recently for lunch and given a much better meal for the price and quality .

Visited recently for Sunday dinner - food was quickly delivered - hot and tasty - drinks were also replenished as needed - nothing was too much trouble - will definitely be retuning

It's a decent meal to have 5 days in a row when your travelling for work. Served by Sharan, amazing customer service and quick and reliable with her service. Zero problems and quite a nice person to have a quick chat with. Would definitely recommend for people travelling for work or even a family night out.

Arrived later than I expected from travels. Team were very accommodating, even though the restaurant closed in a few minutes. Food was hot seasoned and presented beautifully. Staff (Nat) were attentive and pleasant. Manager (Angie) was in control and explained everything. Overall I recommend this for quick visit or longer dining put plans, we'll done

The food was absolutely terrible, the portions were terrible and just thrown onto a plate. Staff had bad attitude and slammed food down on the table. Food did not taste nice but cheap, could get better food at weatherspoons and for a cheaper price too. Overall would not visit this place again.

I used the restaurant while staying overnight in the attached Premier Inn. Staff were very friendly and accommodating with any requests. Food was served quickly. It was freshly cooked and hot. Plenty happy families around even with it being midweek. I was traveling for work so was solo and was fine with where I was seated.

Arrived at 11:10am since it says they’re open from 6:30am and was told that food wasn’t served until 12 which is the whole reason i came here. Why are you open from so early then if you can’t get food…?

SHOCKING, I ordered mix Grill and my wife ordered the salmon and paid extra for the prawns £5. My mixed grill came out with 10 chips , 20 peas, small piece of chicken, 2 very burnt sausages, burnt gamon and very well done onion rings. With my additional peppercorn sauce came to £23.the salmon came out 20 mins after I had recieved my meal as the waitress ordered the meal wrong, when it cam our the salmon was burnt and she just 2 PRAWNS on it that she paid Extra £5 for. Absolutely shocking

Randomly went here for some lunch with family. When taking orders, they were soon to dash off not taking everyone at the tables orders. Had to locate my own child's colouring activity as just not there service wise. Food was average. Wouldn't be in a rush to go back. If you do park don't forget to validate your parking as there is a machine to do so in the place.

Come from stoke on trent to visit Wolverhampton for the day and before going home visited this branch with my friend and partner. The service and food were quick and the food was amazing. Rich and Natalie between them provided superb food and service. Yes, Beefeater is a chain and running costs may be high (which COULD lead to just adequate fare) but the steaks we were served this evening were top rank, as were the accompaniments and starter. Kudos to Rich for his wonderful food and Natalie for her excellent and friendly service throughout!

Breakfast buffet with hot breakfast, fruit, pastries, muffins, pancakes and toast. All unlimited with refillable coffee, tea and juice. Staff are extremely helpful and food areas are kept clean. Been a few times during the weekend, would recommend booking a table.

I am working away for work, and am quite used to restaurants that are with the hotel. I ordered the Mixed grill with steak cooked medium. Unfortunately, the steak came out a little more well done than I'd like, so I had the order sent back. However, I am happy to say that the order was made with no fuss thanks to the manager Alan and his team. Compliments to the chef the second time round. We all make mistakes, but it's the way the action was handled to which I was very happy about. I would happily recommend eating here, knowing all the staff were friendly, and the mistake was sorted out very quickly. Many thanks 😊

This place is one of the best beefeaters around if you are looking for a very high quality meal this is the place. I went here with friends yesterday and the employees were very welcoming and were very joyful

It was a great meal with everything spot on, food was hot, well prepared, and tasty. But, the most amazing thing was the service, Caitlin was fantastic, attentive, pleasant, and a credit to the business.

Best breakfast around by a country mile when taking into consideration the quality of the food, service and price. It’s always pretty busy which means the food (breakfast) is turned over regularly and whilst it appears that some people seem very aggrieved bat having to wait 10 seconds for something that has run out to be replaced, a little patience pays dividends with a fresh supply arriving moments later. I think I have high expectations and the majority of pubs and cafes are distinctly average and overpriced around here - this place is such a sweet spot in this regard. We have kids and it’s nice that they can get what they want and they are free with a paying adult, which again is refreshing because they hardly eat anything! You can probably tell I’m a fan and we go regularly, so I need to thank Laura, Emma, Ange, Evan and Dylan, all running around constantly at the whim of the customers and taking lots of unnecessary abuse due to a lack of patience- I’m sure they’re doing their best! I’d recommend this place all day long….

Had a lovely dinner this evening at The Beefeater. Just turned up with no booking. Greeted by Caitlin our waitress who showed us to our table. She was very helpful and friendly. The meal we had was lovely with everything cooked exactly as we asked for. Overall, a great evening.

Great staff but really poor quality food. Beefeater has turned into Brewers fayre but at twice the price.

I come to Wolverhampton for work and regularly stay at the Premier Inn. The staff at the Beefeater are always lovely - friendly and attentive. I’ve never had a bad meal at the Beefeater and food always meets my expectation. We were served by Elise tonight and she was very friendly and gave us great service.

I was impressed with the attentive service my family and I (2adults and 3 children) received when we visited the Moseley Park Beefeater in Wolverhampton. The environment was clean and tidy, there was no cross-usage of utensils that I could see and the breakfast food was fresh. I must point out the exceptional service we received from Dylan (he cooked the most scrumptious turned-over eggs I have ever tasted, yummy); Yvonne was always in sight when I needed assistance (it was like she had a sixth sense); and Izzy was so helpful and welcoming. I will be visiting again soon. Thank you so much.

I have been in many beefeater and take my word this is so amazing Amazing cook to perfection from Rich and Aron waiter Natalie is just perfect I think beefeater should take example how to run them Restorant like this The entire staff of this this place is amazing well done to you all great job amazing

Very Busy Bar and Restaurant let down by very rude Bar Manager/Server, visit this pub often and a certain member of the bar team is very rude and obnoxious, it’s a nice relaxing evening of the weekend and your met with who’s next? She then rolls her eyes if your not fast enough. Please sort this person out, all the other staff are great and they can almost see how this person is treating their customers.
