Very good until Semih left then the service went down. It’s a shame because it does good food , but it is also important to get great service.

Such a brilliance restaurant and the food served is truly authentic we love going to this restaurant and would highly recomend

After a long time between visits,we eat here on Saturday,and the food and service were first rate food very good

Estábamos destinados a ir a otro lugar, pero el otro se llenó completamente y buscamos en Google y encontramos este. La comida es increíblemente sabrosa Obtuve las hojas de parra rellenas y el kofta y mi compañero obtuvieron los paquetes de queso feta y el sizzler. Todo estaba cocinado a la perfección y la señora que sirve nos hizo sentir bienvenidos tan pronto como entramos por las puertas. Lo único que diría es que tiene que haber una opción de tarjeta para dejar un consejo:)

The reviews seem a bit uneven about this restaurant, but 3 of us went last Saturday night and found it delightful. The de luxe meze for 2 was perfect for the 3 of us to share as we wanted to have room for the main courses. We went for some grilled lamb cutlets and some traditional lamb stews whose names escape me. Everything arrived piping hot, fresh and full of flavour. Nice generous jug of tap water for the table. AND, best of all, no loud music or other noise so we could talk to each other without becoming hoarse, which is a real problem with most restaurants in the area. Service seemed attentive enough without being intrusive. We'll be back.

Will get straight to the point.Female waitress is rude and clueless, drinks order came wrong... king prawn and mushroom in a cream sauce arrived looking and tasting like mushroom soup with 4 floating chewy prawns mains was disgusting chicken sizzler was unedible, mixed grill was dry and very average..Red wine was barefoot at £16.95 a bottle while we there one of the staff nipped over to the co-op for a few more bottles.We couldn’t wait to get out of there.. we left feeling ripped off and very queasy.The only plus of this restaurant is the male waiter who was very pleasant and helpful.Sorry but has put me off trying another Turkish restaurant.

It was the first time here , a very pleasant and clean restaurant.The menu was very good and the food was well presented and very nice.The service was fine until we wanted more drinks and a sweet course, we just couldn't attract the waiter , eventually having twice to go to the bar/counter to get any service.Price wise OK ,would I go again ? Yes I would.

Nice venue but terrible customer service, unwelcoming. Took forever to get served. Food took ages and was awful.

Great food, great service what was not to like? I would happily recommend this restaurant. Not rushed, a warm welcome, good food in a local venue.

Having read reviews, was really looking forward to something different which might become a local haunt to visit again and again.Really disappointed. Welcome half hearted. We were the only people in until just as we were leaving and yet we felt as if our custom wasn't valued. Rushed to make our minds up re our order with very cursory and unhelpful advice when it was requested about items on the menu. Persian fish stew was virtually inedible (fish well overcooked) and looked and tasted hideous. Rest of food mediocre. Won't be returning, I'm afraid!

3rd visit and never disappointed. Great service from friendly staff. No long waits and the food is spot on, large portions and very tasty. Have already recommended to friends who have tried and agree

Great to something different locally other than the usual Italian, Indian, rotisserie and bistro style restaurants.

We visited Istanbul nights to celebrate my daughters birthday. we went early evening and the restaurant was quiet, it did start to fill up as we were getting ready to leave.

Called in on spec and we were pleasantly suprised. Wasn't busy on a Friday night which worried us slightly but we needn;'t have been as the food was very good and the portions were great. Proper authentic dishes cooked very well and service was very friendly and polite.

Poor service, and very poor food will not be dining here again. No-one in our party enjoyed their meal and we had to wait ages to receive our food.

booked a table for half 8 and had to wait until 9. Waitress took our order more or less as soon as we sat down then we had to wit 45 minutes for it to arrive. Our main course came within a reasonable time.

We've eaten in this restaurant and it was very good so tonight tried a take away. It was excellent. I had the chicken sizzler and my husband a lamb dish. Both were great. Didn't need starters as the portions are huge. It's not cheap but worth it for the excellent quality.

I've ate on numerous occasions, the food is lovely, and staff very attentive. The wine list isn't the best but the food makes up for it. The Meze for 1 is delicious :)

Been here a few times. Standard Turkish / Middle Eastern fair done well. Portion sizes are huge. Food good. Smallish restaurent so book for Friday / Saturdays. Also does take out which is good. The mixed meze starter would do as a main for some (and is good). The mixed grill, and in fact any of the meat / kebab and rice dishes appear to be tasty and good. Mains around 11 - 14 quid with a few a bit more and a few a bit less. Well worth a visit. Good local restaurent which deserves support

after 2 previous useless restaurants at these premises,the new owners need support to revive the premises.excellent middle eastern cuisine .very good tasty food, good size starters and scrummy food.having tried different cuisines in heaton moor people should give it a try although the decor is overdone and could be offputting the dishes are well presented and very little wastage .i am sure that any special requirement would be prepared for.persian tea is worth a try

As this is now the closest restaurant to where we live,I was pleased to see that it was reopening as the only Turkish restaurant in the area.After extensive refurbishment we have walked past 4/5 times and has always been busy.

I was so looking forward to the opening of the "new Turkish restaurant" taking over from the previous "Chinese/Thai restaurant" in the premises but was shocked to see the same staff but nevertheless we I decided to give it a try.

I've heard complaints that service can be slow here, but I'll review how it was for us.

Went with group of friends really enjoyed food. Staff were so friendly. It is only small inside so does not get too crowdy. We all had a lovely evening.
