Great service from the girl serving us, very friendly and changed gloves multiple times to avoid cross contamination with the gluten free sub

i’m fumin the staff was rude and they set fire to my waffle fries they didn’t give me the right change and i ordered regular fries and there was about two in there and they was disgusting .HONESTLY WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.

Absolutely Vile rotten food. Ordered 3x chicken tikka footlong on just eat which come to over £30 after delivery. Not one of them came in one piece. The bread was so stale it just fell apart. No it wasn’t warm or toasted. It was soft and stale & the chicken was like bitty rubber. Requested a refund of just eat and won’t be returning. 12pm 26/06/2024

Rubbish Subway as most of them are these days. Girl serving was rude didn’t even acknowledge me just carried on making online orders. Then done me barely one scoop of chicken tikka and spread it over a whole footlong. Isn’t it meant to be one scoop on a 6 inch and 2 for footlong? Always used to be or is it half a scoop on a 6 inch now I doubt it. Just being stingy. To top it off the bread was completely stale basically just had salad and sauce on stale bread.

called in today and whoever was on was a big help as i put the wrong adress on uber and they made sure to tell the uber drivers that. thankyou!

How dare you! Utter scam! Ordered ham and cheese. (Pretty simple) asked for American cheese, grated mozzarella and double cheese (paid 2 pound extra for this option) when order arrived had NO CHEESE AT ALL. Are you mad!? You think that's funny? It's a disgrace this subway. Cold, dead sandwich with about 3 crumbs of lettuce. Clearly allowing children to run wild without supervision. Put complaints into justeat. Called shop to ask for manager. No manager on shift until Monday. (Alan apparantly) Avoid this subway.

Absolute amazing staff and people serving there. I've had nothing but extraordinary experiences in that place and the food is really good. Would recommend ten out of ten if i could.

Just wanted to say the girl who served me was incredibly friendly and had a great relaxed attitude to customer service which was refreshing. She wasn't wearing a name badge but had two stars under her eye and red hair.

Avoid avoid by all means. The food tasted stale, cucumber was slime showed the staff and he agreed but told me but its still in date. What a joke

Just Eat wouldn't publish my worded review so I'm writing it here instead. In short I ordered from here yesterday and only had half my sub as I thought the meat tasted weird and was only tepid when it arrived. I've now been suffering with a severely upset stomach and been throwing up. My guess is that they only partially heated the cooked meat, or the meat was off. AVOID

Absolute joke! They keep moving the delivery time, ordered it over an hour and half ago and still no sight of the order, app says they have been wrapping it for over half an hour, Won't answer the phone I think they have took it off the hook!

This is one of the best fast food places ever. The subs are so fresh and are full of flavour. The prices are quite reasonable compared to other places.I highly recommend it 👍.

Had a problem on Friday , no problem whatsoever , sorted it out and 10/10 for customer service :)

This should be no stars. Where is the customer service. I left without buying anything.

I would recommend to avoid it during lunch time for the sake of the employees. Today I waited for 45 mins to order my sandwich and pay for it. There were only 6-7 people ahead of me in the queue. The long delay was due to the incoming Deliveroo, Ubereats, Just eat orders. They don;t come in for 1 or 2 sandwiches during lunch. While I was in the queue there were 2 orders that were over £50 that came through and the guy in the counter shouted they have 12 minutes to make them! That is easily 7-8 sandwiches..i feel sorry for the guys who are working there. Only 2 of them handling orders from left right and centre. There were only 5 people in the line but it took more than 20 mins to get a sandwich done. Either they should employ more people or consider opening a new branch nearby.

I wanted foot long, so asked how much does it cost nowadays. Was a bit surprised when lady on a till couldn't give me the price, just saying it depends what you having on. There must be a set price, so ended up having 6 inch as she struggled with the price. Was disappointed with my tiger bread, which was dry and hard to chew. Didn't enjoy it! The whole sandwich just didn't taste right unlike from my local shop. It just wasn't fresh.

One of the worst subways I have been to. I’m not sure why but I felt sick after eating my sandwich it didn’t taste fresh like the other subways I have eaten at and never been disappointed but this time this one tasted poor. Also the store needs a serious deep clean and or renovation there was sauce marks up the wall and I could see cobwebs in the corners. Staff were very slow i understand it’s busy but… as a food retail worker it’s a fast food store service was very slow and workers were complaining about being there right in front of us. Needs a major improvement before I would ever come here again :((.

Today, I went in and the woman on the till didn’t greet me. I ordered of the Subway app, went to get my sandwich and it was not toasted like I asked, she didn’t add any of the extra cheese I paid for there was literally no cheese on the sandwich 😡and she added items that I didn’t want to the sandwich, on top of all of that, she used the wrong bread . I paid £6.30 for it to just be extremely dry abs what I didn’t ask for and I’m never going back there again

staff cant follow simple requests like 'little bit of sauce', filling had squashed out the side because it was thrown on in a pile, clearly undertrained or just not arsed. dont want a piled up sauce sandwhich thanks.

Shout out to the gals in today , even though they were having a rough shift ( dealing w shop lifters , burns ect ) still managed to give peak customer service and make a banging butty 🤙🏻

Can get really busy, the staff can be a bit at serving at times also the male staff member can have a bit of an attitude. Food wise it's just as other Subway's

Only giving one star because I had to. Literally the worst subway I've ever had, has almost put me off. Ordered two cookies and they weren't in the order. Ordered two 6 inch vegan tikka sandwiches, and both were incredibly messy - had to reassemble it ourselves basically - with all the sauce just in one spot in the sandwich and no cheese on one when it was ordered. The hash browns were underdone, soggy and chewy. Really poor.

I'm not even one to ever leave reviews but thought this was nessasary. The staff seriously need training as the staff member that served me didn't know what basic salad items were. This is shocking to me, surely if you work in hospitality you should know what the items are you are serving. Me and the other staff member had to actually tell them what the different salad items were.. what if a customer is allergic to something and it's put on their sandwich?

Friendly staff fresh ingredients only down side is clientele its next to Stockport Council offices and unfortunately the dross of Stockport hangout in front of shop

Its a subway. However the staff were really polite and helpful tge only downside is avoiding the uber drivers parking when and where they like 👍

Staff were happy to prioritise Just Eat orders over customers in the store (including one that came through while I was stood next to the counter waiting to be served). Staff gave no explanation or apology for making people in line wait as clearly we have nothing better to do, gave up after the second order started to be made and walked out…I appreciate it was lunch and the staff were under pressure but you have to balance out orders and not take your in-store customers for granted. TLDR: just order on Just Eat and you’ll get your sub faster than going in person. They value takeaways more than your cash.

ordered on uber eats and had to wait an hour for the food to arrive. by the time we got our sandwiches they were ice cold. we both got cheese and neither of them had cheese on there. very disappointing.

Today at 1pmpop in the grand central Stockport subway to order a kids meal for my child, very dissatisfied the service about the lady service, she left my child’s sandwich on the corner a long time and reluctantly warm up the loaf which my child requested for that, even worse she put the chill pepper in the Sandwich and my child did not asked for that, also she drop the sandwich with angry and rude action without say “ thank you” . I won’t order this subway anymore as the service really not good at all.

I cannot understand why the staff aren't more amenable and friendly. The best I visit is Manchester Piccadilly, generally helpful staff

Got a girl on who doesn’t even know how to make a salad. Kept shrugging her shoulders. More bothered about going and eating her food rather than serving paying customers. Staff slow and generally rude.

Staff didn't listen to what I wanted, asked for no onion no tomatoes and what does he do, grabs onion and tomatoes and slung it on, then when I said I didn't want the onion or tomatoes he scrapped them off and put them back in the rest if the salad.

Great fresh sandwiches at a good price

Awkward when the girl who makes your sandwich immediately goes into the toilet afterwards and starts throwing up violently making intense wretching and choking noises in the toilet right behind where I'm sat eating the sandwich she's just made for me. Here's hoping she's pregnant not contagious. Sort it out subway, sick staff should not be handling food!

Would recommend to vegans, service is amazing, and lovely staff

I would highly recommend to any vegans. The new vegan sub with the garlic sauce is amazing. Previously to the vegan sub being released the cross contamination wasn't too bad if you asked your server to change gloves as there is a separate knife ect. But now the staff appear to be very strict if they understand you have dietry requirements and have dedicated vegan instruments and gloves.

I came here at 9:12 pm and it was closed, on the door and in maps it is 10pm

Sandwiches are typical 'sub' sandwiches but the service is terrible! You can wait for 30/35 minutes in the queue!

Been going to this branch 13years ever since staff and managment changed they are not filling there salads or sandwich and salad does not taste as freash as it used to for that matter either portion size has dropped in which case price should be also then if portion size has not dropped then you need better staff who know what there doing am disgusted this used to be my faviorte branch now i have been to other subways also but non of them treat you like that am not looking for anything this has happend multiple times at this branch i let it slide before because i thought they may not be fully trained yet but its getting to a point where its becoming a joke. Am advising as i own a chain of resturants myself its actully hurtful how much you guys charge for what you get

The actual food is nice but I get fed up with having to remind staff to change gloves. There is a tendency in most of them to touch surfaces & money with gloves on. They tend to serve cold food with same gloves. In my opinion,continuing training is needed so as not to protect themselves by wearing gloves but to protect us from food poisoning etc

I've ate in over 30 Subways so far. And you can easily say they're the same. If you had your meal from one, it's like having from all of them. This one is somewhat different. Don't ask me what's so special. Customer service is great as it is any other. Food? Just amazing every single time. But if I had to choose I'll go to this one every time. Over and over.

Absolutely excelent food and even better service. Was served by a young man around 20 ish and he's the best server i have ever experienced, all employees efficiant and lovely.

Consistent in service and standards to other Subways I've visited. It is very close to the McDonalds (just a couple of doors up) and as you can get a salad bowl with the same ingredients as a sandwich it can be healthier too!
