Excellent pizza with generous amount of toppings and cooked perfectly. Meat Feast pizzas I’ve had from other places were always very greasy but this one wasn’t at all. I will definitely be buying again. Highly recommended.

Ordered a Mixed Doner Sarbeni. Loved it!!! Freshly cut Doner topped with salad and sauce wrapped in a fresh tortilla. Big enough to feed 2!

We got food poisoning from here, not surprised as the hygiene was not great on reflection. Avoid.

Needed some dinner and it was around 9pm at night. Most establishments were either closed or not serving food. We needed food that also had gluten-free options for 2 members of our party. Istanbul Kebab House was open and they had chicken and lamb gluten-free kabab options that come with chippies (fries). My wife and her sister were able to enjoy a very generous portion of those items and they did not get sick. Bear in mind my wife, has celiac's to the point where whiskey, which should be gluten-free through the distillation process, is not an option for her. She did not get sick from this meal and enjoyed it very much. The one of our party had a chicken donner, another had a pizza and i had a calzone with pepperoni, mushrooms, peppers and onions. I tried my wife's meal before i contaminated myself and i also thought it was tasty. My calzone was most excellent and the size of a medium pizza from the United States. The gentleman serving/preparing our food was very kind and considerate. This place is definitely better than 3/5 stars. I would rate it 4.5 out of 5 stars. The portions are great. It was safe for my celiac family members and the food was delicious for a good price. Plus no reservations or vague hours for when food is/is not available.

Disgusting food. I ordered a mixed calzone which was completly inedible, the dough was totaly raw on the inside, when I called and asked about a refund whoever answered the phone began shouting and trying to deny any wrong doing on their part. Avoid if you care about your health.

Utterly abysmal place. The food was horrendous and barely warm. The older guy thinks he can get away with scamming his customers. I was charged £18.80 for some reason despite the fact that on checking prices my order came to £14.40. Staff are also extremely unfriendly and seem to find it acceptable to tell you to “get out” the shop once whilst you’re having a chat with a friend.

Food is amazing! I order online so I don't have to walk down the stairs. Once fine, now twice...unlikely to order again due to this

I ordered 2 chicken doner kebabs. But brought me 1 chicken doner kebab and a regular doner kebab. I am not satisfied also 2 chicken doner kebabs are indicated on the receipt. But you really can't fulfill the order exactly? I am disappointed

Decent sized traditional Halal Turkish Donor right next to the main Hub in Dundee. Nice freshly cut donor meat, lovely selection of sauces. I had the chilli sauce & Garlic Mayo up there with the best in London. Fresh salad and crispy chips alongside a drink. I think it was a reasonable £11 all in.

Horrendous robbery/ Customer service. Was a loyal customer for 2 years then they tried to charge me £20 for a 10” pizza which is advertised at £8.90(no explanation). Asked for chips and cheese instead, got told it was £24.50. They take advantage of card prices “being different” when it was normal price last week for card. They take advantage or rob willingly. So many better options in Dundee. Won’t catch me here again.

We have been regulars here for a few months as we live nearby. We have always been nice and polite and know the people who work at this takeaway well, the younger gentleman I always speak to and he is normally very nice. The older gentleman I have spoken to a few times and he had been ok. However, tonight they (particularly the older man) was very rude to us and tried to scam us for almost 2.5x the price. After our night out, we went to the takeaway and ordered an £8.90 pizza. The older man who works at the takeaway tried to charge us £20 for this. I politely said to him it’s £8.90 on the board for a 10 inch pepperoni pizza (the 12 inch was £10, the 16 inch at least £12-16). He then said that’s the price and proceeded to say it was the 'card price' after I reiterated that I wanted a 10 inch in case there was a language barrier. I said that the price on the board was £8.90 and I said that even if there was a card minimum price that it would not be more than double the price. I then said I would instead JUST like chips and cheese instead and he tried to charge us £24.50 for the chips and cheese! I then said that that was even more than the pizza and that I would leave it if it was that much. The older man then proceeded to SHOO me and yell at me to “Go!”. I said I was leaving anyway. I then sent my friend into the takeaway to order the 10 inch pepperoni Pizza with his card, he was only charged £9. I went back inside and spoke to the younger man as I knew him a bit better and I said, very politely, that the older man tried to charge us £20 for the 10 inch pepperoni pizza but they charged my friend only £9 which was about the price it was on the board. The younger man said this was because the older man thought I said it was a 10 inch pizza and a 12 inch pizza I ordered. However, I had repeated it was a 10 inch I wanted for £8.90 and the older man who tried to over charge us said that £20 was the ‘card price’ and the £8.90 was the ‘cash price’. So the younger man was just lying. I then brought up that the older man was rude and yelled at me to go when I tried to be polite, the younger man very rudely said ‘Okay, sorry.’ and called out the next order while ignoring me. I spoke to another girl who was waiting for her food who said she only paid £9 for a 10 inch pizza. Overall, I would not recommend going to Istanbul because the workers there are incredibly rude and try to scam innocent people by overcharging more than double the price, probably thinking they can get away with it if people have been drinking. Very disappointing after being a regular customer for a while now, would recommend other takeaways in Dundee.

Istanbul Kebab House in Dundee is a culinary disaster waiting to happen. The owner's abysmal attitude sets the tone for the entire experience. He's not just grumpy; he's downright rude, with a stinking attitude that could sour milk. Clearly, he skipped the lesson on common courtesy. But it's not just his personality that's foul – the hygiene practices in this establishment are downright stomach-churning. I've seen enough cross-contamination and lax sanitation in the kitchen to make a health inspector faint. This business doesn't deserve a single customer. Save yourself the headache and avoid Istanbul Kebab House like the plague. There are plenty of other eateries in Dundee where you can enjoy a meal without risking your health or your sanity. Don't say I didn't warn you.

I ordered just before my friend to see if they deliver in priority and my friend received his first. We both ordered chicken Donner and I received chicken and regular Donner. I won’t knock the food as the food is well made, but I will knock the service. I called to mention it and was told it’s my fault and I will know for next time that chicken Donner combo means chicken, reg Donner or chicken and reg Donner. There Grammar issue is not my fault, however my friend received the chicken Donner?

This place used to be decent. I'm not sure if they have a blind 4 year old preparing their food tonight or not but we just had tomatoes cut in halves to one side of the container, then a line of lettuce, then onion and so on. I had asked for chilli sauce and I assumed they'd forgotten until I got to the chilli sauce "segment" of my meal. The ingredients themselves were all ok, other than the naan, which was burnt. It was just bizarrely laid out.

Had the chicken donner just after they began business. It was undercooked. The lad doing the cutting should have checked it with a meat thermometer, (I doubt that they even have one) The two lads working looked like they'd slit their grannies throat for a tenner so I didn't really feel like taking it back after a long day at work. £9.50 for a potential dose of food poisoning?

Used to really rate this place as a decent takeaway when living in the area. Fancied a kebab last week, so traveled down to the shop to pick one up along with chips and cheese, and some chicken pakoras at around 1730. Food was prepared really quickly, however the Donner meat was TOUGH! I was surely the first customer of the night, so would have expected freshly cooked meat, but can only assume this was left over from the previous night's service. I should've trusted my instincts and left it when I saw the older guy behind the counter picking at and eating wee bits of the chicken kebab meat off the spit, but a man wants what a man wants unfortunately. Chicken pakoras and the chips and cheese were decent tbf.

Food was just "OK". Kebabs definitely not worth the relatively high prices they charge. All the lamb in my kebab seemed to be very thin, scraggy off-cuts, and it was all very overcooked. Nobody wants to eat overcooked lamb :( Lamb was also ludicrously salty. I paid extra for roasted veg in my kebab, which turned out to be 2 small pieces of pepper, 1 small piece of tomato, plenty mushrooms... and half a ton of onion! I like onion as much as the next person, but come on - this is not what I paid for!

Lovely food although a little pricey for my liking. First time I have had a sweet calzone but guys marshmallow and Nutella calzone is a winner.. I think more flavours? Maybe reases and banana 🍌 mmm thanks

THEIVES PLEASE AVIOD !!! these scammers charged me £11.49 for a box of chips and cheese and my friend £17.25 for chips as well, we paid by contactless and were silly enough not to check the amount the old man with white hair put on the card machine. the worst part is I have now heard lots of stories from other people saying the same thing. they try and take advantage of the people coming out of the pubs and clubs. The doner kebab may not be the best tasting, but it is good enough and super filling. Customer service may have been having a rough day (added to my questions about the menu to my confusion although it was not busy at all), so wouldn’t say the best customer service. Overall, good value for money.

The hoagie wrap was undercooked and the chicken was half pink. This is a serious matter that I've took up with Food safety standards. I was a regular customer but I won't be back again after being unwell! Not good guys 👎🏻

Food was good. Driver was friendly.

Food was excellent. However I made I mistake with the address on my delivery and the diver was very rude and shouted at me on the phone and in person even after I apologised and mentioned it was a mistake. I get that I might have caused some trouble with the wrong address but there was no need to be as rude as he was as it was a genuine mistake.
