Thoroughly enjoyed our visit.. good food and super clean rooms..

Nice food and service,noisey screaming kid,no fault of establishment spoilt meal.

Nice and quiet when we went, but good service and great food at reasonable prices.

Breakfast has a fabulous variety to choose from ...its buffet style and so you can eat as much as you wish. Which is delicious....but it's the staff that our visits outstanding. Thank you Suzie and Kelly and the rest of your wonderful team.

Stayed at the premier inn and we had our meals at the beefeater. Food was lovely and served very quickly.

A place doesn't have to be silver service. It just needs to have really nice staff, really good food and a great atmosphere. Tonight, the Beefy had the lot.

Nos alojamos en el Premier Inn contiguo, cenamos dos veces. Ambas noches la comida era deliciosa, el filete era perfecto y las patatas fritas triples cocinadas increíble. También tuvimos un excelente desayuno todo cocinado recién pedido. Para ambas comidas nuestro servidor era Kevin que era excelente; amable y atento y nos dio una cálida bienvenida. Lo recomendaría.

Just had a very tasty meal at Gourdie Croft Dundee. The portions were excellent as was the service from Nikki. I couldn't finish my salad as I was full. However as my husband ordered a sundae two spoons came just in case we wanted to share. There is a good variety of options on the menu including vegetarian and vegan. One of the Gents toilets was out of use but we were directed to another one. The toilets were clean and well maintained. Based on this visit I would certainly return.

Llevó a mi sobrina para un desayuno de cumpleaños, ya que era su 18 años, tan pronto como entramos se nos acercó y nos dio la bienvenida muy agradablemente, Kevin que estoy asumiendo que era el gerente era absolutamente brillante, era encantador amable y se esforzó por acomodar nuestras necesidades de comida con nosotros siendo vegetariano. He estado viniendo aquí por un tiempo con mis pequeños, pero nunca tuvo comida y servicio como lo hicimos esta vez que fuimos. Vi a la chef y me acerqué a ella que ahora sé que después de preguntarle su nombre era Kirsty, tuve que hacerle saber a Kirsty lo bueno que estaba hecho el desayuno, todo estaba en su punto, pensé que debía ser una nueva chef, pero para mi sorpresa ha sido chef durante años en batidora. Debo estar en días en los que no está, como suele ser un chef masculino. Bien hecho mantener el servicio fantástico y la preparación de comida. Definitivamente estaré allí de nuevo cuando Kevin y Kirsty están trabajando. Me encanta mi comida y soy un comedor quisquilloso como mi familia sabe mientras cocino desde cero.

Vamos aquí en familia regularmente y Nikki siempre nos cuida. Nikki es siempre amable, servicial y conocedor de todas las cosas en el restaurante.

My partner and I entered the restaurant during our lunch break, hoping for a quick and pleasant meal. Upon arrival, there was no one at the entrance to greet or seat us, and with the restaurant nearly empty—only two or three tables occupied—we assumed it was fine to seat ourselves at a booth. As we sat down, a tall man approached, and I asked politely if it was okay for the two of us to sit there. His curt response: "Looks like it." Not the warmest start, but we brushed it off. A few minutes later, he returned with menus and, in a noticeably rude tone, said, "Next time, you need to wait at the entrance." I explained there was no one there to seat us and asked if seating ourselves caused any issue. This visibly annoyed him, and his response was condescending: "I won't sit there all day; I have other customers." I clarified that we were in a rush due to our lunch break, which is why we seated ourselves. Instead of understanding, he replied, "I may not be able to serve you fast enough as I am alone today." For context, there were only a couple of tables being served at the time. I calmly asked if he was managing the entire restaurant alone or if there was staff in the kitchen preparing food. He became defensive, called me "rude and arrogant," snatched the menus from our table, and refused to serve us. We were asked to leave, stunned and humiliated. Never in my life have I encountered such appalling behaviour from a waiter. His lack of professionalism, patience, and basic customer service was shocking. To be clear, this review is not directed at the restaurant itself but at the waiter who failed miserably to represent it. Ironically, we ate here the previous night, and the experience was entirely different—great food and friendly, responsive staff. It’s disappointing that a single individual could tarnish what was otherwise a decent establishment. As a result of this incident, we had no choice but to order Uber Eats, cutting into our already short lunch break. If Google allowed zero stars, that’s exactly what this waiter would get. Beefeater, I hope you address this because such rude staff drive customers away.

Fuimos aquí para la cena en - ruta a casa desde el aeropuerto de Glasgow. El personal era muy amable y atento, decoración moderna y con estilo. La comida era buena, mi esposa tenía la lasaña que era genial. Tenía la hamburguesa que estaba bien, la carne de res podría haber sido más gruesa por el precio. Volvería.

Had two fantastic meals here two nights in a row when I was in the area visiting. The service was also very good. Will come back again sometime in the near future

¿El lugar estaba vacío y un tipo horrible llamado Martin nos sonrió y dijo que no había disponibilidad? Estuvo bien hasta que vi a mis chicas Rangers en la cima cuando estábamos parando para el brunch bef rumbo al fútbol. Este tipo tiene un problema es un intolerante. Se quedó mirando y riéndose de nosotros cuando nos alejamos. Nunca pondremos un pie en este o cualquier otro Beefeater como no bienvenido. Debe estar ganando mucho dinero si aparta a PPL de un restaurante vacío. No fuimos los únicos ppl que vimos algunas otras familias recibiendo el mismo trato. Encontramos comida en otro lugar que estaban encantados de recibirnos.

Reasonable place to stop for a meal. Just off the A90 next to Premier Inn. Will seat you in the bar if it’s very busy. Food is standard fare but quite acceptable. Enjoyed the steak.

Restaurant was empty yet sat us next to a large party! Food very tasty though and staff attentive.

I would avoid this restaurant like the plague especially the waiter come team leader MARTIN hope he's proud of him self throwing a 68 year man out of the restaurant and banning him from the restaurant i was stuck to get meals had to get s taxi to get food in all my years of eating in restaurants have I ever come across a complete arrogant man all I can say is Beefeater get your act together and get rid of him or train him up as he's got no customer care I will never step in side another Beefeater restaurant

Had a great lunch here with my hubby. The food was great, the staff very friendly and chatty. We would not hesitate to recommend to others.

the evening was totaly spoilt by a so called team leader called Martin his attitude needs urgently addressed by senior management he is nothing more than a jumped up bully boy !!

Booked online and popped in for Sunday lunch. Great service from staff. Very efficient. Three roasts were braw. Fish and Chips delicious.

Came here for some lunch. Quite expensive compared to other places. I had lasagna which was nice but it wasn’t anything special. Service was fab guy was really friendly.

Quiet so that made the atmosphere a little flat but despite that it was an overall pleasurable dining experience. Very tasty food & attentive staff. Would happily come back to dine.

It wasn't the worst but waited over an hour for the food to be brought out. Staff weren't very talkative either. Food was OK but wasn't great or anything ill remember. Quite pricey too.

Food is ok but not quite good. It'll get you by when you're hungry. Same stuff on offer in various places operated by the same company but with different trading names. Expensive compared to other independent local pubs.

Came here at about 5:30pm. Just the daughter and I. They do a set menu 2 courses for £16ish 3 course for £18ish We went for 2 course set menu My daughter went for the bacon burger with potato skins as a starter, and I had the fish and chips with a choc brownie pudding. We shared the started and pudding. Food was good. Too much for us, but we battered through It was very quiet,which was nice and chilled. No pics. Sorry I'd definitely come here again

Pure raging beans came straight fae a tin stone cold eggs pure gave me salmonella bacon felt like I was biting the coushin sausages tasted like a Greggs sausage roll. Overall experience 2/10 no happy likes

Decent beefeater. Not the quickest of service for business travellers, don't seam to like it when you get the "meal deal" with your room for some reason... no idea. But I digress. Hotels clean. Ish. Parking is good. And free. So yeah all around standard stop off.

Booked here for our Christmas Day lunch and soon received a request for full payment up front and full food order or the booking would be cancelled. Made a special trip into the Gourdie and paid in full plus filled out the formal food order. Two days letter we received another notification stating that, if we didn't pay in full and send them our food order, the booking would be cancelled. After fighting with their automated phone service, which refused to actually put me through to a human, I was assured that it was an error and our booking was fine. Yet another notification arrived on Christmas Eve stating that the booking had now been cancelled! I ignored this one and we turned up for our booking, expecting the worst. Fortunately, the notification was another error. However, as the photo shows, the food wasn't up to the standard expected for a Christmas meal. The fillet steak was, in a word, terrible. On the plus side, our server Jack was attentive and efficient in dealing with our complaint about the steak. Unfortunately, it was a Christmas meal and we were 400 miles from home, with no opportunity to go elsewhere and our expectations were not met. We will not return.

Been here a couple off time when visiting our daughter at uni food has been really good and portions very good should try it 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

I am very sorry to say last night's meal was shocking 😲 hard uncooked food when I told the waiter he said other people had complained also but nothing was done it's unbelievable that we were treated like that, so poor I use the hotel all over the country its just aswell we are only here for a week.

Disappointed tonight for our tea... food took 45 mins to come yet the place was not busy. My food was hot hence 3 star but my friends was pretty cold. And the place was colder than normal . Totally understand its not always easy to get right everytime but just highlighting the issues we experienced today . Also to point that the amount of chips my friend had was very small . Pic to see

Very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Had most meals in the Beafeater restaurant next door. Good selection of food, friendly staff. Plenty greanery surrounding the property. Great cocktails too.

Went inside and there was basically no one dining there and was told there were no tables available for another hour and a half. What a joke. Staff member was rude to us when we asked to be seated.
