Love the Isle of Ely. Such a friendly atmosphere and place to come with friends. Couldn’t do more for you, always want the best for their customers. Food is lovely and great range of drinks. Steven is so friendly and always happy to help

Steve and Jodie were amazing, great food and service

Our first time at this restaurant. The food was disappointing! The salmon was over cooked and dry (£14.49), as were the vegetables and the sauce was cold and lumpy. The crust on the pie (14.00) was so thick that most of it was left. Not enough staff, very slow service, although very pleasant. Not worth the cost of the meal. We won't be returning.

Never been before, had lovely meal with my friend. I had Katsu Chicken with a tonic water, she had a favourite of hers, Hunter's Chicken with a half of cider, all for just under £20. The meals were delicious, had plenty of room. Waitress was attentive, not intrusive. Have recommended to friends and family 😃

Lovely local pub. Food is always excellent, bonus if you get Steven or Tash as your server! Goes above and beyond.

Bit pricey, it's basicly an upmarket version of Wetherspoons, good selection of beers but higher priced than any other Ely pub

Christmas meal was lovely, I’d accidentally been put down as gluten free by my friend who ordered but as soon as I said I wasn’t a Yorkshire pudding, stuffing and extra gravy were very quickly bought out by Ella and Abi who were serving us. Very attentive to our needs but not over the top. The whole 3 course meal was very tasty and well worth the money

Me and my wife love coming in here weekends and every Wednesday. The staff are great especially Steven who is very attentive and helpful. His knowledge of the drinks and mixes are good and more importantly pours an excellent pint of Guinness.

Lovely local pub, good food at great prices. Fab atmosphere during the Euros and love the fact that I can be in a booth and feel tucked away. Staff are excellent especially Steven. Good prices for alcohol and a wide and varied choice of wines and gins. What more could you want.

Food was dried up , and hunters chicken was lacking in bbq sauce , garlic bread burnt . Not great value for money

We come here for girls drinks every week, and find the staff so friendly and cheerful. Steve is often behind the bar and makes chat- which is just so friendly & down to earth. Drinks are a good price!

Met up with friends and family before a family event, on a Friday evening. Unfortunately it was a pretty poor experience. It started with not using glasses for drinks as pretty much every one had residue from the dishwasher in. This was after a long wait to order as the staffing was well below the need. Food was ordered with a warning that it was 30 mins wait, which we agreed to. Sadly this was about 30 mins too little, over and hour later food arrived. I had to send back my first poached egg back - raw, not uncooked or a loose poached egg (I would have accepted a loose poached egg) but raw. After everyone else finished I got a totally over cooked poached egg. Not a great experience at all.

We visited on the 4th October . Ordered food at 7pm did not arrive until 9pm. The pub was very short staffed but I thimk that Jodi did a great job making suer everyon wa happy. Well done.

An ok experience. The steak was actually quite nice as were the chips. The bit that saddened me was that when I was ordering the woman sneakily didn't mention that the peppercorn sauce and 5 measly scampi bits cost an extra £5! This unfortunately dampened my mood and ruined a potentially better experience. If I return I will be on high alert and hope I'm not made a fool of again!

This is a pretty decent pub located near the cinema and other eating establishments. Service is very friendly, food is nothing too special

Popped in for something to eat before the cinema. The food was lovely and the cheesecake was amazing! Lovely friendly staff.

Awful food. The chicken wasn't normal chicken. Spongy and jellified. Beef had grizzle all through. Roast potatoes white, not cooked enough. Stuffing rock hard. 3 slices of carrot. One thin slice broccoli. We will not be returning.

Even though it's a green king pub / restaurant - dogs aren't allowed inside, which is shocking.

Great pub, never had food so cannot give a rating. But staff are always welcoming. Only reduced by 1 star as they don't accept dogs inside.

Lovely welcoming pub, great location and excellent value for food (two meals from the main menu at £14.99). My friends and I really enjoyed our meals and the service. I'd like to mention Debbie who served us and the chef Andrew.

Dropped into a local place for a quick meal and catch up. As there was no music it was easy to converse with my friend. Service to the table was a little slow however the food was very tasty and hot so obviously hadn't been standing around to be served. The pub was reasonably empty so the atmosphere was very relaxed

Way too expensive now. More expensive than Cambridge. I don't care how thick you are £6 for a greene king is ridiculous. Please bring £4+ fosters back and leave it and gave your 5 star. The halloumi and mac and cheese was annoyingly good. Whole thing let down by no fosters and every pint 5 or 6 pounds.

Me and my girlfriend had a meal and a drink. Great value. 2 meals for 14.99 off the main course. Chicken strips, gammon steak, sticky toffee pudding and custard with a pint of cherries and berries cider.

1st time I've eaten at this pub, absolutely fantastic service and food. We both had the gammon and it was so tender and juicy, everything cooked to perfection. Compliments to Andrew the chef. We aill be back

Nice place, but disappointing. After ordering food, we got a couple of starters within 5 minutes. Then waited an hour for a main. Only when I requested a refund was I told the kitchen was short staffed.. the staff were apologetic, but we could’ve been told about the wait for food before placing an order. On the other hand, the beer was good..

Really busy in the pub watching England play in the Euro 24 games but even though it was busy the staff were super friendly and attentive. Great atmosphere in the pub. (On a side note, I'm celiac, so I'm delighted they have gluten-free bitter available)

Really lovely pub, very comfortable, great service and excellent food. The Vegetarian roast (with mushroom pie) was absolutely delicious and my children ate every morsel on their plates! We came here to watch the England match somewhere with a bit of atmosphere, and the Isle of Ely didn’t disappoint at all. I’m sure we’ll return again soon!

We had an excellent afternoon watching the football with our children. Everything was well organised, food arrived promptly and was good value. Throughout our time in the pub we felt welcome and despite the football the atmosphere was friendly and never hostile which was great for us since we had our youngest child with us. We are likely to return. The only feedback I have is that offering deserts for the children would be a good idea when the football is on

Went there with friends for dinner. It is really nicely decorated inside, the service at the bar and by our tables was great, the staff was engaging and funny. But the food though was terrible, all of us were disappointed with our meals. Won’t go there for a meal again, but will for some drinks.

Me and my friends went here for some drinks whilst watching England play, The service was good whilst the match was going I couldn’t fault it. However, when it got to the end of the game we went to get a McDonald’s to put on the outside table, nobody was eating it as we where saving it for the car journey home, As we where about the leave the bar tender came up to us very truly and said ‘I’ve told you before you’re not aloud food and I’ve caught you red handed’ Me and my friends were warned about drinks and we respected that, but we were never told about food. We did apologise and say sorry, then she proceeded to say we need to get of the premises and she’s not going to serve us drinks anymore. Baring in mind this wasn’t a nice request this was a very rude request from the bar tender. Other people where also eating a McDonald’s or underage and they didnt call them up on it, it was just our mini group. We sat there for 4 more minutes to finish our drinks. And then the manager came. In all fairness the manager was absolutely lovely about it and wasn’t rude at all. Just gave us a warning, we asked if we could finish our drinks and she said ‘absolutely’ Overall manager was lovely. Bartender was rude.

Lovely food, great price, kids have left with full bellies and very happy mums for not having to cook in this heat. Gammon as always spot on, my favourite dish. Desserts lovely and a great selection of drinks available. Allergy tablet for milk and soya free is amazing. Thank you for having us.

Amazing place to book a table and watch the football. But also when there’s no football it’s a great place to bring the kids and eat yummy food. Staff are excellent and always attentive.

Really nice pub. Was my first time visiting. Went in for a drink.. had a cocktail, which was amazing! Service was also really good!

Very pleasant. Reasonably priced food and quick service. Our waitress Georgia was helpful and friendly. Very convenient for a pre-cinema meal.

It's ok, unusual location. Beer selection was good. Bit big for my liking but plenty space for groups or whatever. Will come here again, every time I go cinema. Need to work on their beer, I've been for a while now and sometimes the beer does still taste a little strange. I drink madri in this pub, favourite larger but does taste a little weird in there. I get on with the staff in here. Known them for a while now.

Tasha and Steve served us tonight. They are ultimate professionals, very friendly. Pub was in dressed well with tables played for service. Nice mix of people and music at appropriate level to enjoy conversation but have an ambiance. Many thanks!
