Visitando la zona y entre las muchas opciones disponibles para el desayuno complacido elegimos este. Buena comida y café suave. ¡Volvimos otra vez!

I visit Islay about once or twice a month because the ambience is nice. However, the quality is patchy. Yesterday I was pleasantly surprised to get hot black coffee, as usually it is tepid, but the cake was a disappointment. For £4.50 it was very small and had a bit missing from the base. More attention to detail/customer service would be appreciated.

Came in to the cafe because of its relaxed vibes and the coffee looked and tasted incredible. Was an amazing place to study and the staff were friendly and welcoming 💕

Nice ambience here, and some lovely pottery for sale too, cakes were delicious, we had an apple crumble cake (not cheap tho at 4.60 per slice) which was different but very tasty

Had breakfast here today for the first time and unfortunately I won't be going back. coffee was weak and tasted of chocolate milky water - had to ask for an extra espresso (it was ok'ish after) my mothers coffee was undrinkable and left. two full breakfasts came out absolutely stone cold, told the barista and the breakfasts were taken away. came back 5 mins later still stone cold. the barista did ask if everything was ok and I informed him that it wasn't and the food was still cold. he apologised and carried on serving everyone else. most of our breakfasts were left and full cup of coffee. nearly £34.00 and I can honestly say I would have got better in a truckers cafe. very disappointing!!

I ordered poached eggs and unfortunately, they weren't good; way too hard, totally overcooked. Then £2.10 for an extra slice of sourdough, is a bit too much. The pancakes are not fluffy at all, too dry. To be honest, not what we expected, totally overpriced, what a shame!

A small cafe serving a choice of breakfast and lunch options and several cakes. It seems to be very popular so you may need to wait a bit for the table - the food was nice and moderately priced.

Great coffee shop on Teddington high street. I sometimes stop by for breakfast: scones are awesome (and they are homemade) as well as omelettes! Good prices for excellent quality, all served with a smile from a very friendly and polite staff.

It would have been nice to be acknowledged when I took a seat even if it was just to say "I'll be with you in a few minutes" but I was made to feel invisible and unwelcome. I could see the cafe had been busy and the staff looked stressed. I left after 5 minutes.

Really great cafe, everything was very good. Delicious coffee and my cake was really good. Lovely friendly little place that would definitely recommend for a coffee stop.

Delicious sweet treats (not many places can nail a cornflake cup cake - sorry kids, I’m finishing that) and lovely coffee too.

I had the salmon breakfast and my partner had a ham and cheese omelette and both were so delicious! I had a Turkish coffee too which was tasty. We really enjoyed our food and will be back, the staff were very friendly. My only complaint is that it was slow for our order to be taken, meaning we waited a long time at the till despite there being no queue but once ordered the food arrived promptly and the staff were kind and apologetic.

Although this place has some of the most wonderful staff, the coffee is disappointing, obviously coffee is unique to individuals, but this place wasn't for me.

The coffee is nice enough, but the man behind the counter barely looked up when we came in. Unlikely to return.

I visited for the first time and was pleased to discover another independent coffee shop that serves decent coffee. Hot and served quickly; the service is friendly and the range of cakes/snacks very alluring. The atmosphere is relaxed although It was fairly busy but not overly so; and we didn't feel rushed to reorder or leave. Will definitely revisit.

This is a real culinary find in Teddington for coffee and food. Besides serving the best artisan coffee in Teddington, the French chef deserves a big credit for creating delicious food with a Michelin star twist and a great selection of home baked pastries, cakes....

Friendly staff, prompt service, good food, generous portions. Nicely spaced tables with comfortable seating. Pleasant sitting outside in the summer. A local gem.

This could have been a lovely meet up with friends and we were even prepared to overlook the average food as we were having an enjoyable time. However, some of the staff/mmnt are arrogant in manner and think they are doing you a favour by letting you visit. We won't be returning.

Poor service and rude staff member, especially given the price. Ordered pot of tea and a mince pie, cost £6.95. Minute or two later my name is called quietly, no eye contact, no engagement. I went to the counter and the member of staff just pointed at the tray with my pot of tea etc. I asked about the mince pie and she rolled her eyes and said “this is coffee, cakes are down there” pointing along the counter and round the corner. I said to myself “oh, I’ll go and get it myself then shall I?” as I went to get the mince pie. As I sat down the eye rolling woman on the coffee counter shouted across to my table “is there a problem?” I said that I would have expected better service given the price, supposed reputation etc. she snapped that “that’s how it works, we’re not a table service cafe”. I said that I didn’t want to discuss this any further as I’d made my point and didn’t want to get into an argument across the cafe but she carried on hectoring me, basically behaving like a spoilt school girl, determined to have the last word. I ignored her. Thin woman, long hair, nose piercing.

We were at Petersham Nurseries for a celebratory birthday tea party yesterday. A family argument erupted (as they tend to do during this season of goodwill to all men) and our celebration was in ruins….however, the wonderful Manager, Millie, and her lovely staff at the Petersham Nurseries saved the day. I am so grateful to her and to them, and will certainly return for a calmer meal in the future.
