What a blinder. Superb music, staff sublime, food most excellent( and within 15 minutes of ordering), don’t know about you but I think the days of ordering “ a meal” are done. My wife and I now go to an establishment and keep ordering the starters. We’re done with massive meals.

Why take bookings online when you’re clearly not open. Not impressed!

Lovely staff. No, really lovely and friendly and helpful. Menu limited. Zero healthy options. Outrageously poor value. Sorry, would like to rate higher purely on the excellent service under difficult circumstances. But £20+ for small, overcooked burger and soft drink isnt this reviewer's idea of good value.

Would be a better place if the buildings toilets lights worked properly and didn't leave me in the dark!!!!!, menu looks good.

Great location food was freshly cooked and was nicely presented had to clear our own table staff not very attentive could do with a little more management presence overall priced accordingly and would return.

This time last year I would have easily given ISBG 4 stars, but the menu, service and quality of the food, which is overpriced, are disappointments. Some of the staff work really hard, but others are lacklustre, so the experience is hit or miss. Better for just drinks, and their live music events are great.

Lovely friendly welcome and excellent service throughout. The food was outstanding - the Jamaican fish curry was spot-on. Great selection of cocktails as well! Highly recommended.

I never usually leave reviews, but OMG this place is highly worthy of one! The food is just brilliant and the twelve of us who are holidaying a short distance away have now been here for the last 2 nights on the trot! Awesome 👍

This was a real disappointment. I’ve walked past this place on many occasions and finally went in today. The cafe bar seems pleasant enough but we found the staff indifferent and not really interested in their customers. We asked for a cloth for the table to be wiped down and did it ourselves. The order was taken incorrectly and when we pointed this out, we were given a look of incomprensión, as though we made the error. The food was very mediocre, our four year old had a burger and it was completely covered in some very sweet red onion paste. The Steak sandwich was made using good quality beef but the few very fine slices meant it was inadequate at filling an appetite. The tiger prawns were submerged in a pretty tasteless oil. And to top it all, it is overpriced for what it is. I would avoid this place. There are plenty of other good quality places in Salcombe to choose from.

Nice spot on the water but food is very average. Salmon was catch of the day... which clearly you don’t catch Salmon on the south coast. And the Jamaican curry, whilst okay, had a tinned pineapple on it. And it plays poisonous damce music the whole time. So to be brutally honest, it’s just another new build with scaffolding shelves and corrugated iron to look cool, but all it does is mask distinctly average grub

Dinner here was great. Great staff and friendly atmosphere. Food choices were many and extremely delicious. We shall return.

First impressions was the relaxed atmosphere as you walk in. Second was the friendly staff. Now this sounds obvious but I really appreciated my food be hot when served to me, very rarely find that being done right. Food was tasty and weĺl priced. Will back in the future!

Is there no end to this couples talents? From the people that brought us the Winking Prawn and Sailor V, comes one of the most beautifully placed bars in the country. Well done guys, keep up the good work.

Burgers are pretty good; grilled fish options as well. Liked the original deco inside, with signatures from all the bands who have performed there on the ceiling and walls. Gives it a good atmosphere for a meal/few drinks. Bit out of the way from the centre though, being over on Island Street.
