Great place for a drink and a snack, had a little nosey round, Interesting place.

Held a 80th birthday party in the big room downstairs. The staff were amazing, they put the room together superbly arranging the tables and chairs for the stage. Tables dressed. Food was delicious. Staff amazing

Attended a function there. The room was dirty, as were the toilet cubicles. We went for breakfast the next morning to be told that they don't serve breakfast on Sundays, even though in large letters on the front of the building it says "Breakfast 7 days". The whole place looks like it needs a deep clean and a lick of paint.

Well worth the money for breakfast 😋

This venue held the wake for a friend today. Clean, spacious, well presented environment for functions with lots of accessible parking

Friendly Staff, Nice Atmosphere

Cafe staff behave like they don't not want to be working there at all. Toilets dirty & not cleaned regularly. Bar staff not interested in welcoming new visitors. Food is average & service is not good.

Stocked up on Irish food. A small selection but brings back happy memories for the wife.

Didn't go to eat, went for children's Christmas party.the party room, upstairs was very nice, however, the upstairs ladies toilets were a disgrace. 3 cubicles, only one could be used and one was so full of toilet paper, It couldn't be flushed. There wasn't any hand towel to dry your hands and the electric dryer was out of order. Downstairs, 4 of 7 washbasins were out of order and all the hand-wash containers were empty. Just 2 antibacterial dispensers. It's not only COVID that's spread through germs and dirty hands. Have we not learnt anything from that dreadful virus

Until today I thought highly about this place. Unfortunately this morning I received a terrible service from a cafe that tried to charge me £3 for a pure dbl espresso - using my own cup, disgraceful, no warning given, the price isn't on the board. Asked to speak with manager and been left even more disappointed, the Manager thinks that over charging people will bring more customers in. A pure rip off.

I attended a get together after a funeral here today. The food was delicious, very fresh and hot (which is very unusual on a buffet) and everything was presented well. The bar service was great and the staff very friendly. I would definately recommend.

Great fried breakfast. The cafe was very quiet, with only two other people in there. It was also great to see that it is dog friendly. The shop is a little expensive, but it's worth spending if you want Irish foodstuff. Flahavan's Porridge Oats are great! The car park was very busy, yet the Irish Centre it'self was like a ghost town.

I had family over from NZ, I took them here for lunch, never been before, I myself thought the food was spot on! Later on in the day I asked my cousins what they thought, they told me that they had eaten the night before on the Quays, where it was three times more expensive, yet they preferred the food that was served in the Irish centre Big shoutout to the prawn starter 👌

Called in to have an afternoon drink, nice place. Good atmosphere, gaelic games on TV, 👍 Very disappointed with the Guinness, not a good pint, shame you would think it would be the first thing of quality.......

Went for a charity evening and we had a fantastic night, everywhere is clean, the food was excellent and good choice of drinks at the bar.

Visited in company with a relative to fill up on Irish food & drink brands. A well stocked shop, although a bit pricey, that forms part of the centre's cafe. We also had excellent coffees & snacks. We visited in the afternoon, when the cafe/shop was quiet, but the main bar/dining area was being used for a large funeral. Well furnished, warm & inviting atmosphere & the (male) toilets spotless.

Have been meaning this place for years as i consider myself as part of the diaspora. The center moved from an old building to this sparkling, shiny new purpose built centre. Impressive it certainly is, with a wide range of facilities under one roof. Whether you are of irish descent or not, there is something for everyone.

Went here for a family meal had a carvery 3 course meal and really enjoyed it absolutely beautiful and will be returning again .

I had been 2 weeks a go and the Sunday dinner was lovely and the staff had been brilliant, me and my family turned up today and it was terrible 1st they had run out of Sunday dinners , so we got BLT’s, club sandwiches , Philly beef , chips which were the only nice food , the cauliflower soup was Shockley the toasties were cold the bacon was cold and like cardboard bad I think they had new staff in the cafe but they were really struggling to cope our table was very visibly dirty , we didn’t get tea spoons with our tea no serviettes it was like nobody cared today(with exception to the two young lads that came with our chips they were helpful)which was sad to see I’m hoping it was just a bad day

Paid for a ticket for Halloween with my neice & seen none ticket holders get allowed in & receiving people getting what we paid for but didn't recive anything will think twice about paying to attend a party there again. Not happy 🤬🤬🤬🤬

It's the first time I have been to the Irish centre and was attending a third party event so didn't try the cafe but I will go back sometime as it looked clean and reasonably priced. There was also a selection of Irish produce to purchase.

We booked a function room for a wedding celebration on 21st July, 2022 for the celebration to be held on 17th September, 2022. They phoned us on 1st September, 2022 to say they had made a mistake and they want to cancel the booking. My question to them was when did they know that the venue was double booked. There was no clear explanation of why this was happening. To add salt into the wound the lady said we can book at a different date. It seems she didn't know what was involved if we were to cancel as they requested it will inconvenience our arrangements. Felt very disappointed with their service and response from the lady. WHY DID THEY BOOK US AND THEN CANCEL. DID THEY UNDERSTAND THE IMPORTANCE OF THE OCCASION. WILL NEVER GO TO THIS PLACE AGAIN. WE HAD PAID FOR THE ROOM ONLY TO BE TOLD IT HAS BEEN DOUBLE BOOKED. CAN YOU PLEASE STOP DOING THIS. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND MESSED UP OUR PLANS. WILL NOT GO THERE EVER AGAIN. THEY ARE MANY QUESTIONS THAN ANSWERS.

Fantastic Venue! Beautiful speaceas hall in side with great quality floor and conditioner system, own bar on side, lovely pond with quite seating area, free car park with plenty of spaces. Had an amazing time dancing social Tango during hotest time of the year in Manchester! Highly recommended! Deffenetly will be back at next opportunity 😊

I was in today for a carvery around 415 and I was extremely disappointed because I have never experienced food being cold and very dry the beef was really bloody and blood was on my plate the gravy was like water I gave it back to the chef who changed it but come back no different food cold vegetable cold cabbage hard hardly cook and the beef was end s chewy and fatty my partner was cold turkey and couldn’t eat we didn’t stay for dessert which we payed for. I had quite a few Sunday lunches at the heritage centre in Manchester over the last 9years and this absolutely rubbish I always recommend the Irish centre at Manchester for Sunday lunch because it has always been 9/10 not anymore I’m member of The Bolton Irish centre One your waiter ask me should she get a manager no came and I gave tickets for 2course meal back one of the barmaid was smiling I’m sorry that’s is not I expect from Irish hertiage centre I can’t recommend it no my partner as always told her family it was the best Sunday lunch you get this the first time I’ve been for a carvery since covid but always been to your shop Yours. Very smart building with loads of parking. Extremely clean inside & helpful, friendly staff. Lovely cafe with reasonable prices. Would love to try their live music night on a Friday.

Went for a vaccination. Was processed quickly and efficiently.

Attended A Funeral. Prices for Alcohol were reasonable and function room with own bar was modern and clean. The Centre is lovely and has a Cafe and bar. Would recommend if having a Family Function.

Wow the food is amazing and the prices are very reasonable the chef 👨‍🍳 is lovely and took his time to come a speak to use and the staff are all so friendly . Fabulous👌 place to vist

It was lovely to return to the Irish Centre in early March 2022. I was pleased to see it was immaculately clean, warm and staff in green shirts looking smart. Barmaids were friendly and working hard. Before it's temporary closure my view is standards had dropped. It is so important to your success to ensure there is enough staff on to serve customers with a smile and keep the place clean. (tables, floors, toilets). I hope to be able to support the centres successful return and will do if the experience is good.

This is a wonderful venue, amazing space and sounds like they usually have great facilities and a lovely community when it’s not being used as a vaccination centre. I got my booster vaccine here and cannot rate it highly enough. Incredibly safe and efficient, I was in and out within 10 minutes and was really well taken care of. Thank you to all the staff here who are working tirelessly and somehow manage to still have a smile on their face, you are amazing.

received first pfizier vaccination there.madam registered nurse sarah nhs done vaccination although i have suffered headache dizziness in first dose of vaccination but thanks god i recovered sooner .ambulance also waited outside my house entire day when i have told nhs 111 bout it.

The irish worl heritage is a great place to visit and a great nite out( but not at moment,its a covid vacination center,) but hopefull be back soon👏👏👏👏🍻🍻🍻🍻🥇

Visited this place to receive my covid vaccination, which was being run professionally. As far as the Irish Centre, was impressed with the building and would love to visit it when we get out of lockdown.

Love this place. The only place outside Ireland that my husband will drink Guinness. We went for Sunday lunch which was great value for money. The food was very tasty. The shop was open with some Irish food to buy. Would recommend this place for a drink and food

First visit today, great bar service and great food. The shop is fantastic.

We booked for christmas lunch this year (2019) all the family 10 adults 3 children (ages 4, 1 & 1 week old) it's was our first time having christmas day out and we all were pretty anxious to start thinking it will be a frozen poor excuse for a christmas dinner. However we were assured it will be all fresh and all the trimmings and the manager raved about the atmosphere and how many people have booked this year. Instead of paying deposits and money in dribs and drabs we paid in full £430 (£45 per head) a month before. Where to start. The room was laid out shocking. Our table was right at the back of the room so we had a real struggle getting the pram in and carrying the baby across. Then the round tables was set out so that the family was split into 2. Conversation was hard and it was awkward to speak and interact with the family. The tables didnt feel very christmassy. Not a cracker in sight or anything fancy with some music playing for background. There was no high chair set at the table. They were aware of the childrens ages when we booked. So we had to look for an empty highchair and take that from another table which had been used and not cleaned full of the remains of christmas lunch. We had been sat at our table for 3pm and service was poor. Starters served and were cold, bland in flavour and fairly disappointing. The 2 children didnt touch any of the 3 options. Then you had to que to wait for a carvery style christmas lunch. When we finally got to the front we was told there wasnt any turkey left and what was out was what's left. Basically mash potatoes, carrot/parsnip crush, cold roast potatoes and gravy. All the meats had been left under the heat and dried up. Everything was infused with that much garlic you couldnt really taste anything atall. And out of the 10 adults 7 didnt eat anything. The other 3 tried to make do with what was there because of sheer starvation. We didnt even have deserts as the staff had all disappeared and noone came back to serve the table and was clearing away. It was absolutely disgusting and despicable. The absolute audacity to charge people £45 for this joke. Ruined our day. The whole family including the children went home hungry and upset. We did make a complaint and received a partial refund - but this doesnt make it all ok. This has been an awful experience. PEOPLE PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS PLACE AT ALL IF YOUR WANTING TO CELEBRATE OR HAVE A NICE MEAL. SHOCKING. DREADFUL. APPALLING. AWFUL.

Son wife and granddaughter went for Christmas dinner booked it a month or so ago to make sure they had a meal with the in-laws so approximately 10-12 people , when they got there , there was no food available what a disgrace they even had the audacity to charge them for one meal , will be making a few more calls and sending an email to the appropriate management. My son wife granddaughter and there in-laws have had to make do I hope your proud of yourselfs utter joke 👎😡

Had my uncle's wake here a few years ago when it first opened staff and food was amazing always happy to help came back last weekend and it's still a fantastic place and the sunday dinner was fabulous

I have come to the irish center a few times as my dad is from co.mayo but lives over here and really loves taking me and my daughter to learn more about our hertitage and culture as he is a proud irish man.But everytime we have come to the center the staff who work in the shop are very cold and rude.I simply asked them for condiments such as salt and pepper and they looked at me asif I was an idiot and huffed and puffed.One of them then made a snide remark about me to another member of staff which I heard .Its just very disappointing as they are not even Irish and they are ruining the experience for people even my dad was very upset and didn't want to come back again , now he only comes in to buy the food and then we go as the staff who work behind the counter make u feel very unwelcome and act asif your a problem by coming in.When u go to Ireland everybody is extremely welcoming and happy to help , I don't feel this is a good representation for something that is in relation to Ireland

Went for Sunday lunch. sevice very good. Really friendly staff. Food was awful. The prawn cocktail was dry with very little sauce. The main course although plentiful was tasteless, rubbery roast potatoes, tasteless turkey and stuffing, mushy vegetables, frozen yourkshire. Very disappointed.

I'm giving this 1 star as I found the centre to be extremely cold and unwelcoming. There was no one on the main reception desk so I proceeded to find a member of staff, the first I came across was two females in the shop area it felt like I ruined there day by asking if they sold rosary beads or when i asked general advice about the centre . I am irish and my partner is English and my children are born in Manchester uk I wanted to get them interested in my culture and I was hoping for us to spend the day there however we literally turned around and walked straight back out of the place and never to return.Extremely disappointed and I hope management of the centre see this and have a thorough review of staff's customer service skills.
