INDOMEX in Bristol, City of

Both my partner and I were throwing up within hours of eating Indomex. Really suffering with it this morning :-(

Brilliant cook, helpful, welcoming and a nice smile. He was so patient and well organised. We were in a rush so he accommodated and made a party of five's food real quick! God knows how he made all of our food so quickly and tasty. All while getting a takeaway ready. Will go again with my other son.

Food is really good Surprisingly both the Indian and the Mexican options are more than decent Definitely worth a try

baddddddddddd. ordered take out- the vegan burrito had cheese in it so allergies and dietaries are clearly not cared about. the pork burrito was dry as hell. disappointing cos it’s so highly rated, but also worrying that they’re not following allergy and dietary procedure makes you question the general running of that kitchen. VERY :-(((

We went using a Groupon voucher. The service was pretty abysmal as I don’t think the person that waited on us was wait staff. He had no idea about a Groupon and just overall it was awkward. The samosa chaat I ordered was quite delicious but the halloumi fries weren’t anything to write home about , nor were the burritos we ordered for mains. It seemed like a strain to be served. The place was shabby and expecting a lovely well thought out menu and meal options , I was sorely disappointed. Indo- Mexican sounds amazing but this place has let the idea down a fair bit. I can imagine having a takeaway from here being palatable as the food would be enjoyed better in the comfort of one’s home that at the restaurant itself.

Staying at the Arnos Manor Hotel, a local recommended us German tourists trying out the Indomex just half a mile away. Well on 19th of May 2024 , we did walk up through Sandy Park Road to 120 Wicked Rd, where we found the Indomax. First impression on the site was that we were supposed to get some fast food, nothing really special. However, the first impression was completely wrong! On the menue had been Mexican as well as Indian food and also serveral Burgers. We had a table outside and ordered several Mexican meals. After getting us some Indian Cobra beer - believe me, it tastes like a good English lager beer - the chef started cooking our dinner. As we could watch through the kitchen curtain, all stuff for the roles had been freshly cut and finally hand-wrapped. So it took a while till the meals had been served, but it was worth waiting for. Cobra Beer, of course, was served before, during and after cooking! Food was excellent, compliments to the chef! Prices are absolutely reasonable and the service is excellent. The premises are simple, but in a good condition, means clean chairs, tables and toilets. (The Bristol downtown pubs definetly cannot compete with the Indomex!) Additionally, the walk through Sandy Park Rd with lots of small shops is quite interesting. Summary: The local guy from the Hotel gave a good piece of advice trying out the Indomex. Next time in Bristol this will be the first place to step in.

First time found this amazing cafe/restaurant,I just wanted a snack but they do breakfast,Indian food and Mexican open till 10pm,great service by Akhil

Food was freezing cold, was missing a breakfast when ordered. Was disgusting and disappointed.

My order took nearly 2 hours to arrive and when it did was freezing cold. If you can’t deliver within a reasonable time don’t accept the order or put a realistic estimated time so I can decide if I’m willing to wait 2 hours before I place the order.

Went here with a wowcher voucher. Tried to book via email as per voucher instructions, no reply. A week later I tried to message them on FB, no reply. Called them to make the booking but it was really difficult. A language barrier meant they could deal with my booking well and I couldn't understand them well either. Went at around 5pm, there was no other customers in there. There was someone working in the kitchen but he didn't acknowledge us for a while, we were just stood at the counter waiting. He then asked us to wait until his colleague came back which we did. We were excited to order, we both love Mexican and Indian food. For starters we had 1x chicken tikka nachos and 1x beef nachos. There wasn't a cheese sauce as per description. Just some cheddar grated over and melted in the microwave. The guacamole, sour cream and salsa were served seperate to the nachos in a small bowl. The guacamole wasn't fresh, it was the guacamole version of ketchup. Nothing special or tasty about the nachos. Below average. We then had a chicken tikka burrito and chimichanga. We couldn't finish the burrito, it was supposed to have some sort of Flavoured rice in it, but it was very soggy smushy plain white rice. The toilets and restaurant could do with a decent clean. I wouldn't go back. Which is a shame because a Mexican and Indian fusion sounded like the best idea ever!

Just had a Bombay Benedict Brekkie delivered - Very disappointed, the eggs were cooked to within an inch of their life so the yolks were hard and the hollandaise sauce was missing so the entire dish was dry :(

The food was very tasty, good value, delivered on time and beans, toast and fried bread were separate which stopped all from getting soggy( very good). Was a touch cold but that is to be expected as it’s a delivery. Only little moan was eggs slightly over but again it’s a delivery. Definitely will order again at some point.

Popped in and got a low key burrito, while I waited for.my little one to finish a theater class and was very please with it. Super tasty! Thanks guys :)

Ordered a chimichanga and a chicken burrito, halloumi fries and chips. Order came, burrito has a huge long black hair in. Disgusting. Threw in the bin. Halloumi fries burnt to a crisp, threw in the bin, called the place to complain, guy answered the phone and basically called me a liar and said ‘ you have it wrong chimichanga is very good’ I said no it’s not. There’s a long black hair in the dinner. He said I have it all wrong and then he said ‘enjoy’ and went to put the phone down on me, I said no don’t hang up on me I want to speak to the manager. Currently awaiting a recall but doubt this will happen. Steer clear, awful hygiene and they don’t rectify their mistakes.

Food was very good, well cooked, liked how items were separated for me to add other ingredients as I wanted, driver was polite . Service 5* will order from them again. Thank you guys for a great service.

Fantastic food!! We were passing by on our way through Bristol and stumbled upon this restaurant I ordered a burrito and my mates family took a take away , I’ve got to say the food was excellent along with with all sauces the service was fast too …five stars

What happened? Alright it's never had atmosphere but the food made up for that. Last night however was shocking. Booked a reservation for 5 people. Were the only diners in the place. They had no interest in us at all. Had to wait for white wine to be brought in. Had our starters which were poor at best. Never asked for our mains choices and we left after being ignored for an hour. The only interest seemed to be for the home delivery guys. Would not recommend dining here and we will not be coming back.

We usually go here for breakfast when in Bristol! This time it was really good! Had the Special brekkie with a bacon, chorizo and cheese burrito with fried eggs and salad and it was great! Very decent prices and lovely staff!

Food was over an hour late promised a refund when I pre rang knowing it would be cold but then the Uber eats app says delivery success so cannot refund very cheeky terrible food aswell nachos with no sauce I've had better from subway also beef burrito was mainly rice only tiny layer of what may have been beef should of gave me a refund offers all free food if I ordered again I will never order again

Bought lamb Madras and burrito. Cooked well and staff were helpful in explaining the menu.

Ordered the "Bombay Eggs Benedict" and my disappointment was immeasurable. The food arrived cold and had spilt all over the container. The meal had clearly fallen apart in transit and there was hollandaise sauce and egg yolk all over. There was only 2 measly lumps of what was clearly microwaved tikka chicken and the hollandaise sauce tasted disgusting. I don't recommend eating from here.

Food took over 2hrs to arrive even though I live 5 mins away… when it arrived everything was cold,scrambled eggs under cooked, soggy toast and chips were like rubber .. avoid this place !

We ordered a delivery and overall, it was a bit disappointing. I had a veg burrito which was 90% sweet potato and my partner had the chicken which was heavy on the rice. Haollumi fries were £6 for 5 small pieces. I'm also confident that the salsa and guacamole was shop bought and not fresh. Having said that the food was ok and well made, it's just not what we expected and the cost didn't match our expectations when compared with alternative places.

Delivery was very quick but the chicken tikka masala was like a soup , the worst i ever had!

A friend and i had our toddlers with us and needed a quick pit stop. They were amazing with us, the kids and the chaos.

We had our annual Christmas dinner at Indomex yesterday and food was best of both worlds, ordered mix of Indian and Mexican full of authentic flavours.

Really nice, freshly cooked, food. Mostly Mexican but had a nice onion bhaji in there as well. Loads of takeaways going out while we were there. Surprised more people weren’t eating in; nice ambience and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Fab food. Great prices and quick delivery. The burritos with fries and the fish pakoras are absolutely amazing. The portions are huge too, indomex seemed a weird combo to begin with but honestly, having had it, it's amazing and has become a firm favourite with me!

Ordered in advance (over 1 hour before) online for collection, food wasn't ready. Delivery driver was also waiting for food to take out & was swearing & muttering under his breath about the amount of time he had been waiting. After waiting over 10 minutes later then the time we had specified for collection got home to find portions of chips missing. Food was OK, burritos were not as tasty or had the same amount of chicken in them as previous times we have bought from here. Will be waiting a while before ordering again.

The best Indian food i had till date in uk and I would definitely recommend this. I had butter Naan which different from what you eat outside and it's like the original Indian taste and even the starters it was lovely

Just randomly popped it because ones belly need food. . Such great service and burger was to die for. My server . . Pradeepnettem had great customer skills. . Give that man his due very professional and felt like he enjoyed his job. . I will be back. . Go for the long island ice tea. . On a hot day it hit the spot. I will be returning.

Really lovely meal and cocktails. Had chips & dips, the chicken chimichanga, a Long Island Iced Tea and a Mojito. Pint of Cobra was welcome but didn't feel quite cold enough, possibly the hot weather.

Feeling super, super lazy - so IndoMex breakfast delivery it is!! Arrived swiftly, my Indian style eggs benedict were fantastic, the full English breakfast was great - tasty bacon and crispy hash browns, things that often aren't good from other places. Ordered meals from IndoMex a number of times - never disappointed. Recommended!!

Upon arrival I was apprehensive as it’s not a Mexican restaurant and I wanted a burrito. But I was surprised to find the burrito was actually pretty damn good. Really filling and tasty. I’d say it’s more like the American style of Mexican food as they added loads of cheese. But that is just what I wanted. I’ll return when I’m back in Bristol.

Just had takeaway from Indomex. Generous portion, great price and nice packaging (kept food piping hot). I would highly recommend this place as it can be a best stop for both Indian Mexican food lover.

Really exceptional service and amazing food. I ordered through ubereats last night, and the driver messed up the order. Instead of trying to rectify the order, uber just gives a refund and doesn't care that you didn't get the correct order. When I called Indomex, it was obvious they were extremely busy, but they sent me what was missing from the order and it was piping hot. We will order from them again definitely, and I really appreciate that they rectified the order on such a busy night when it wasn't their fault! Next time I'm ordering direct! Thanks for all the tasty food.

Delicious food at a great price. In these lockdown times, its a blessing to have such tasty food available for collection. We had the Mexican deal for 2 and there were huge portions of clearly homemade food. Recommend for a tasty mid-week dinner and can't wait to try their breakfasts

Very disappointing! As it is New Years Eve we thought as we can't go out as a family to eat we would try somewhere new and a bit more expensive. As this place is local and had lots of different things on the menu we decided to give it a go. I can honestly say that not one of us enjoyed our meal. The children's meal was supposed to come with chips but my son only had a burger and peas. My husband's burger was tasteless. Even the pate nothing special. I had chicken tikka which was quite nice after a couple of mouthfuls but it was so full of cream I felt a little sick after. The prices are very high for a take out for what you get. Unfortunately we will not be rushing back.

So I am a huge fan of Mexican food, When I heard Indomex was opening I couldn't wait to try their food. Its one of the best chimmichungas I have ever eaten! Gorgeous, hot, wrapped with care and came with sour cream, guac & salsa on the side at no extra cost . We grabbed a meal for 2,this was great value. Thank you Indomex! For a pleasant food experience. 5/5

Fantastic Mexican food. We had chimichanga and burrito with refried bean nachos for our little one. It came quickly and was well packed. The only thing is say is that the writing on the wrapping was illegible, so we had to figure out what was what by ourselves. Also the guacamole portions seemed a little mean. We will be ordering again though.

Just had lockdown takeaway beef burrito and a chick pea curry, both amazing especially the beef. The menu looks great but my partner wanted a vegan option on the Mexican side, the food though was top notch. Will definitely be returning for a sit down meal when the autumn lockdown is over. Really pleased that indomex is at the top of my road.👍👍👍👍
