Indigo Indian Takeaway Cardiff in Cardiff

I have ordered Aloo, Vindaloo and Rogan Josh curries. The curries are rich in flavour, hot, generous in portions, the meats are tender, especially the lamb, overall they are very tasty, The food is arrived on time, the driver is very friendly, will come back again when we visit Cardiff next time!

First time ordering from here and the food arrived piping hot within the hour. The food was incredibly tasty, the portions generous and contained a lot less oil than most other takeaways. Reasonable prices and great service.. What’s not to like?

Possible one of the best Indian takeaways cardiff has to offer. Food is so fresh and tasty. Beautiful starters absolutely love the honey tikka chicken and the onion bahjees are amazing. Always delivered steaming hot and fast. Amazing service and awesome food. Highly recommend

Ordered for the first time tonight via deliveroo. Not only was the food delivered early, it was hot, well packaged and delicious. Plenty of meat in the tikka masala, lamb pasanda and Karahi, the tarka Dali was rich and well seasoned and the spices throughout all the dishes were so balanced and tasty. The only thing, and I will add that it may be because we live the other side of Cardiff, is that the chips were slightly soggy and cold by the time they arrived. But all in all, a 5star experience and we will 100% be making Indigo our regular Indian takeaway going forward. Thank you to all the staff, delicious!!!

I ordered food and they delivered it to the wrong address, I called them and they hung up on me three times and wouldn't give me my money back over the phone, I drove over there and got my money back, then my food arrived as I turned up home and was cold and inedible. Terrible service and I will not return, frankly food was average.

Posting for my housemate, who feels too scared to post the review with her name attached: The food was delicious however the delivery driver made her feel incredibly uncomfortable. She is a young female student and was evidently alone when she had ordered. The delivery man kept telling her that she was ‘really cute’ and ‘really pretty’ before and after giving her the food. This is not only wildly unprofessional but made her feel unsafe and anxious in her own home as a result of this man. Wouldn’t order delivery again, as a lone female.

The food was good but the delivery was 1 hour late and when I telephone they said it on it's way It is only 5mim away and it took 20mim to get to my house this is the second time i had delivery From you the first was cold and ill not use you again

Been using this takeaway for a while now and have never had cause to complain but felt I had to this time as the last 2 meals now haven't been up to the standard that I have got before. Had a delivery a few weeks ago and no meat in my keebernan, samosa was burnt and the curry very bland. Had a delivery last night and this time the lamb was very tough, curry quite watery and the onion bahjees were bland. Chips tasted stale. Sadly won't be using them again. Gave this place another try on Monday and I'm glad I did. The meal was beautiful and boiling hot and fresh. Beautiful and will be ordering again soon. Just ordered for 5 people. Meal was beautiful, lamb samosas were lovely. Meal was lovely and hot. Loved the curry, tasted like a real curry should. Lamb was tender. Will use again. Thank you.

Well I'm a fussy eater 1sr time ever absolutely beautiful king prawns buna and half rice half chips n free poperdoms n dips lots of food fast delivery so freindly and wow I'll go here every time n tell my family and friends to go all that n deilvey so cheap but very tasty lovely food I'm a fussy eater wow I'm impressed I'll definitely be having it again I recommend u try it I love it thank you very much 😊

Just moved back to Cardiff and left a very good Indian where I was. Pleasantly surprised with Indigo. Everything was spot on and delivered early even. My new go-to for sure.

This was disappointing. The poppadoms tasted like they were fried in old oil, the rice were hard and undercooked, the chicken makhni was too tomatoey and the chicken tasted weird, and the keema nan was bland. My lamb bhuna was the only decent dish hence the two stars. I tried food from here when it first opened and it was delicious. Tonight was far from delicious:(

loose motions hole day, sufferd a lot after eating food. i tried alomst all resturents in catdiff but i nerve experienced such an worst food , its unhigenic food.

This takeaway might not look like much, but I've been coming here for years, and it is absolutely awesome. Their citrus bhuna dishes are off the scale. Please never close

Try'd this takeaway for the first time tonight unfortunately I must of picked a off night for them. No definition between the meals I ordered korma, pasanda, & butter chicken all tasted the same also bland flavours, chips under cooked very disappointed going off the reviews I saw before ordering. I uesd to use the nadia balti canton ( unfortunately closed now) lovely food can't find anywhere to touch it at mo looks like I will keep on trying with my search on to the next 😩

Avoid much better options available! Dreadful customer service. Food took over 2 hours to arrive when quoted 30-40 mins. When we politly called for an update, were hung up on multiple times. When the food arrived there were 4 items missing from the order and it was luke warm. Called straight back to ask about the missing items I was told we'd have to go without as we were too far away to redeliver the missing items. We're only about 1.5 miles away for context. Persuaded them to redeliver missing items and it took another hour, pointless. Credit where credit is due the food was delicious, 4/5 and if you order on a quiet night it would probably be a better experience but still unacceptable for a £60 order.

Without doubt the worst Indian takeaway my wife and I have ever had. Over 30 minutes after the delivery time sent out. First time we called the restaurant to find out where it was they hung up on us. Garlic naan was puny in size, there was no garlic and barely had seen the tandoor meaning it was nearly raw. Both the Karahi and Pathia were overspiced. So very disappointed

Placed an order today at 7pm didn’t arrive until gone 8:30 pm. Was missing parts and was stone cold! Phoned to complain but not interested! Will not use again and advise to stay clear. Lots more choice locally.

Food was awful, chips were hard and was refused a refund also not to mention they hung up on me. Chicken korma did not taste like a korma, waste of money for something I could not eat.

Was a shame I couldn't even get to try this place, the guy I could barley understand on the ohinewy because he didn't speak up well/ was mumbling and I had to repeat myself constantly trying to get across to him I have a gluten allergy. The site even says to enquiry about any allergies and allergen information. Became so frustrated ended up hanging up and going somewhere else.

I downloaded the Kukd.com APP and ordered from this place. The food was amazing plus I got 20% OFF my order from Kukd.com just for downloading their APP, can't complain. Definitely will be ordering from here again!

Wish I could leave 0 stars. Found a nail clipping in my food, not only that the rest of the food was freezing cold. I called them to tell them where they offered my out for a fight once I told them I was going to leave a review. They refused to sort the issue. £50 down, stuck with freezing cold inedible food. Bad attitude, bad service, bad food. AVOID AT ALL COST.

Had about 4 or 5 meals from this fantastic takeaway Customer service, food and delivery time is 10 out of 10 Definitely the best takeaway in cardiff Staff can't do enough for you... I could go on because we are so impressed Really wish this was a sit in restaurant
