M&S Café in Cardiff

Dreadful service. Waited 45 minutes for two toasties and a kids pizza.

Lovely latte and cheese scones. Nice cakes. Staff are lovely! Nice and clean😀

I have visited this M&S cafe for many years service and staff are really nice disappointment the last 3 times first of all the dish washer wasn't working so they didn't serve hot food 2nd time was 45 minute wait and 3rd time today then run out of the stuff that was on the cooked breakfast menu then wanted to order something else hot wasn't on the till cos it wasn't 12pm nice cappuccino tho

Best part of the meal was the salt! Poor slow service, no one with any go. Lots of empty dirty tables and had to ask to have ours cleaned, even then it was only given a half arsed wipe. The “crispy” chicken burger was soggy and soft The chips are undercooked The meal deals are extortionate we had a tiny wrap, carrot sticks and a juice box for £4 A 240ml can of Coke is £1.40 The tomato ketchup taste like tomato purée and the mayo is disgusting. Don’t bother going here you can get far better for less almost anywhere else

Being served coffee in paper cups and food in cardboard boxes is not the experience I expected from M&S. 3 days prior to this visit they were using mugs and plates. If I wanted fast food I would go to a fast food outlet. Sorry M&S not for me.

Too hot, tables not cleared, c offee insipid.

Standards slipping. Method of serving very slow . No saucers with the tea. Generally only ok.

Terrible service . Waited 25mins to be served . Complained to manager. Shortage of trained staff in restaurant. Manager should have helped out at service counter. Not at tall pleased

When I go shopping..I like to have a coffee. In the cafe. The staff are very welcome and friendly service is very good. Some time it gets very busy.

M&S Cafe is one I visit fairly often. The menu is familiar ( though new items are added), and there is usually room to sit. The food may be a bit expensive for what it is, but it's tasty. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed.

Always good coffee and a nice plate of smashed Avacado on sourced toast with poached eggs.

Great food very fast service they have an electronic table number system. Nice seating overlooking outside shopping area. Menu is good with a choice for all. Prices are very reasonable also. Coffee was great. I had a sausage bap three sausages in a roll just like Greg's but they tasted fantastic peppery and moist, unlike Greggs tasteless varieties.

Good food at a reasonable price, but not a great selection of gluten free food, unless you like jacket potatoes. I had the tomato and basil soup which was tasty.

Had a cake and bottled mountain water

Would have given them a 5 star but they didn't have any decaf coffee.

Great place to have a bite to eat and enjoy a coffee or hot chocolate. Really nice food menu to cater for all, and the cakes are mouthwatering and tasty. And prices are pretty good to👍😁😋

Where M&S used to offer an "upmarket" feel in their restaurants they've looked at the associated costs and decided a standard supermarket café is the market they want to be in.

Good food, but cannot install the Coffee stamps module on the App.

First and last time for me. Poor and slow service and poor value the drinking chocolate was weak and had a poor taste, Mos disappointed.

Hot chocolate and sandwich is a great accompany on a shopping trip to Marks and Spencer! The cafe wasn’t too crowded, and able to get space to dine in though the queue was pathetically too long! Their hot chocolate was not too bad.

The M&S cafe is the best! Always great coffee and very reliable for cakes. Good Choice of food for lunch, and it’s always really nice. I recommend the pizzas, perfect amount of cheese to sauce to other toppings, and are cooked right before so are lovely.

Always a pleasure to visit an M&S Cafe. Always spotless and cakes are delightful. Highly recommended

Not a lot of choice with pastries and didn't really want to eat too sugary cake. Thank God the toilets were open today, I dont think it is sensible to serve beverages without having toilet facilities !

Good simple food hot and tasty soup

Nice food if you just want a quick snack or jacket potato, Staff are very helpful but it does gets very busy on weekends.

Perfect for a relaxing hot drink and slice of cake, hot and cold snacks are also available.

The M&S cafes in both Llanelliand Swansea are way better

1st class service and good food

Went there for a coffee and toast the coffee was luke warm toast was quite hard and it was cold in the seating area as well.

M&S cafe`s are great although a little pricey.Always try and get a seat at the front overlooking Queen St.The toasties are excellent.

Today was an exception as all food was finished i bought sandwiches no prob not the Cafe fault was very late my favourite is always baked potatoes. Great Coffee beats others, and great staff friendly helpful and always a polite smile.. Thank you M&S
