Food wasn’t very tasty. All bland. Shame as it used to be very good.

The curry I had was very watery and had no taste I had a garlic nan and you couldn't taste any garlic the cook out the back is very rude and gives you a horrible look you feel very uncomfortable being in there like you shouldn't be there also they are very nasty to the workers it is very expensive for the rate of food you end up with it has really gone down hill since new owners I would highly recommend going to the Indian in Wareham. Not a good takeaway

Started out great, but the food now is rather disappointing.

Indiana has been one of the best Indian takeaways in our area for many years. Living remotely, we sadly only have this one choice of delivery, but it has always been a good choice. Easily ordered by Just Eat, with free delivery - it has been a godsend to those of us who live remotely and enjoy a good takeaway meal. I received an offer from Just eat today for £5 off or my next meal, so we thought that we’d treat ourselves. Imagine my disappointment tonight when after an hour of waiting for the just eat website to offer delivery times (both just eat AND the restaurants website offering this service) - I phoned through to order my meal and asked if the website was down. The lady on the phone explained that they not only don’t use Just eat any more BUT also there is a £3.50 delivery charge on my order (the website still states free delivery over £12 and under 7 miles!!!) She also stated that the just eat website was linked to the previous manager and that they were now under new management. Though we’ve always had a good meal and excellent service from Just Eat and Indiana, this will be our last order from this restaurant. To offer free delivery and not the 10% discount offered online cannot be right, open OR honest! We didn’t order lots or often - but we do like good service and always favoured and recommended them to friends. Tonight, no matter how good the meal is, we will feel that the service normally offered is less than it has been before, it’s a pity in this day and age that companies feel it ok to do this.

Food took just over 2 and half hours to arrive and all items arrived cold except for a the naan bread which has ruined the whole meal and experience

They did get my order wrong but I phoned up, they had it redelivered in 15 minutes, apologised profusely and threw in some freebies. Delicious meal!

We ordered at 7pm and it’s not here at 9:45pm! Would like some money back on this.

Food was good but we ordered it at 6.30 and got the food at 8.30 so 2hr from order time. The time was 45 minutes at time or ordering.

We really enjoyed tonight’s meal. The guys at Indiana were really helpful when we rang to check on what would be best for some one with allergies. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Excellent food very tasty and fast delivery

20mins late although the driver did apologise - traffic had been bad. But the result was that the food was no longer hot. The naan bread was rubbery, the masala sauce watery and the lamb balti had more yellow pepper than lamb. Really disappointed for a £30 meal and definitely nowhere near the standard from our previous experiences.

The food was left on the door and the driver did not knock either. Also the food delivered was incorrect. And was too spicy as well. Overall not a good experience. Hopefully it wasn’t a norm and just a bad experience I had

The wrong curry was sent for one of us and a naan was omitted from the order.

We decided to order a takeaway from Indiana when we had visitors staying for the weekend. We ordered around 7pm on the Saturday evening for delivery at 8pm. After 2 calls to chase our delivery, it finally arrived an hour late. We had ordered 6 curries with accompaniments. Not only were we a naan bread short but one of the curries wasn’t what we ordered. We had ordered a reasonably mild curry for one of our guests who doesn’t like food very spicy. The curry he received was the hottest any of us had ever tasted and was too hot for any of us to eat. We phoned to tell Indiana but could not get an answer. We left a message and eventually got called back at 5pm on Sunday when they offered to deliver the missing naan and the correct curry then. I politely pointed out that the food had been for the night before and was no use to us now. I was offered a refund for the naan and curry and a curt ‘sorry’. We will not be using this restaurant again.

Popped in for a takeaway although it was a long wait for my food order which was a bit hot on the curry side but was very nice especially the onion bargies but curry could of been hotter not spicier although still enjoyed it the front of house cirsty and Katie kept me entertained and kept apologising for the delay and kept me informed they also gave me a bottle of coke as a compliment for the delay i will be back

Food was OK, needed some salt. The naans were too chewy and generally not very enjoyable. Our order arrived with a main course missing, the restaurant first tried to blame us for missing it during the ordering process... but the missing dish arrived promptly.

Onion bhajis were inedible as over cooked. This is the second time they have been delivered inedible. Poppadoms oily and the chicken was extremely dry. Such a shame as the first few orders from her were impecable. Highly doubt we will order again.

We had takeaway from this restaurant. The time stated for delivery was 60 to 90 minutes. The food was delivered at over 120 minutes. We have a lot of experience of Indian and Bangladeshi food - many restaurants and takeaways from varied areas, and also home made cooking by some friends from Gujarat. The food from the Indiana was so spicy… far spicier than implied by the one/two/three chilli marking on the menu. My requested madras hot North Indian Garlic chicken was easily vindaloo hot. And my partner’s chicken tikka Shaslik Bhuna - marked with one chilli like nearly everything else on the menu - was madras hot, too hot for him to eat. It is a shame because I suspect the actual flavours of the Curries were nice but we couldn’t really taste them because they were masked by so much chilli heat. Maybe the restaurant needs to highlight how spicy their food is relative to other curry restaurants.

One item was missing and the curry had leaked all over the rest of the food.

This came about 2 hours after I ordered and half an hour after the designated time. The curry was basically Korma dyed red: the weirdest curry I've ever had! Definitely not a massala, as I'd ordered and it wasn't spicy at all. Plus the chapati was soaked in grease and wouldn't even split, it was so saturated. Not impressed at all.

Delivery was good however issues with the food ordered. Ordered a veg biryani for a vegan eater and it arrived with beef chunks in. Ordered 4 sides and only 3 arrived. There was a flourescent green plastic small item in 2 of the Currys, possibly part of a utensil or nail. Won't order again.

Myself and 5 friends were visiting the area and thought we would get an Indian takeaway. Whilst reading the menu outside (which is quite expensive), we noticed one of the staff having a good old scratch. When I say he was scratching, I mean he was going for it. His hoodie was up and he was literally scratching every part of his body. We decided against an Indian and a side order of skin. It was disgusting. If staff do that in front of house, where customers can see, I shudder to think what hygiene is like in the kitchen. The place looked very dirty, and resembled a hang out for down and out kids.

When ordering said collection within 20 mins, once ordered changed to 40 mins, on collection had to sit and wait a further 30 mins , overall hour wait, not good

Prawn Cocktail was perfect. However the omelette was rubbery and the chicken chewy. I can only guess this is from it being left in the hot plate for a long period of time prior to order being collected. I contacted the restaurant as soon as i placed my order regarding when i wanted to collect the order. I spoke to a lovely lady name Leigh who handle my quiry quickly and perfectly.

Not easy to find in the dark but I had to give the driver 10/10.

We haven't ordered for a little while but, the food and service are just as excellent as always. If you're looking for a delicious, well prepared, innovative and thoughtful meal, the Indiana will give you exactly what you need.

Food was amazing - best takeaway we've had in a very long time across many different cities. Only thing to let it (or just eat) down was that initially was told 1805-1835 for delivery which later turned to 1905-1935. Was pretty much bang on 1905 and piping hot so overall am still very happy

Delivery was very quick - 30mins quicker than expected. Regarding the food - it was good and big portions - only downside one bit of chicken looked a bit suspicious and the sauce tasted a bit gritty; would order again 🙂

Absolutely one of the best take aways we have had recently! Generous, delicious portions, not greasy, delivered on time and still hot. What more can you ask for? I would have taken photos but we ate it too soon

When receiving delivery, a curry dish lid wasn’t on properly causing its contents to spill out soaking the paper bag, aside from that little niggle, food was lovely

Best curry I've had In many years, wouldn't go anywhere else, affordable. And not shy on portion size. Staff are polite and welcoming. Aswell as the delivery service is always fast and efficient. Would recommend to anyone who is a curry lover. Also have options for non curry lovers.

We had a couple of friends round and decided to order a curry. Myself and one friend had a Lamb Rogan Josh. I can honestly say it was the worst curry i have ever had from anywhere. It was completely tasteless apart from a bit of flavour in the Lamb. There were no spices in heat No heat in it and no salt in it. Only ate it as we were hungry. The poppadum's tasted of old cooking oil as well. and wern't very nice. Onion salad tasted of vinegar and i hate vinegar.

Excellent delivery and tasty curry. In general lovely however I had 2 pieces of chicken which were not succulent like the others pieces. Granular and inedible - I have no idea how that could happen?

Take away ordered as a last resort after bad weather and early closing hours left us hungry. The order was quickly received and confirmed and although a long (75min) wait was suggested, the food arrived after half an hour in Lulworth Cove. A wide variety of flavours and generous portions made us very happy. Most importantly the food arrived hot. The chicken was cooked through but still moist which went down very well. Thank you.

Hour and half late, I know they get new people but the driver had returned back to the establishment sating he had delivered when he had not.

Having ordered much loved dishes repeatedly, we opted for a change. As per all previous orders, we were not disappointed. The chilli and mango dish was beyond delicious. This will become a regular dish for our future orders!
