Indian Spice in Copeland

Just had a chicken Tikka wrap and chips, it was amazing 😍 plenty of chicken in my wrap very tasty. The chips were very nice not greasy just perfect and a good portion. I will definitely be back. I would definitely recommend this takeaway.

The men delivered my Rogan Josh early but apologised and offered to take it back. It wasn't necessary but I appreciated the offer. Good customer service means a lot to me and there's was great. I was a regular customer at the Ali Taj and had tried other Indian food but hadn't thought it as good. Then my nephew told me he liked the Indian Spice so tonight I tried it for the first time. Absolutely delicious. I was not disappointed and have now found somewhere I like as much as Ali's. Great stuff thank you Indian Spice.

So this is Indian Spice. I decided to go for a Bangladeshi special Amina which was made with mango for a sweet and sour effect (don't think Chinese but do think tasty); plenty of handleable-size marinated meaty chunks, tomatoes, onions and so forth. This came with some fresh pilau rice, a little crunchy rather than soft and fluffy but these are the guys to tell us why, sprinkled throughout with shavings of crisp vegetables. I also had a keema naan, bouncy and fresh as only takeaway naans can be, plus some sag aloo to be going along with. I was also sent along in 20 minutes delivery - incidentally on foot in a rain and wind squall, the dark shadowy figure folding back his hood to reveal the most amenable reaper of appetites - a super water-proof bag of delicious delicacies including a poppadom, a nice dip and some tasty onions too. The moral of the tale? If the weather's grim get stuck in. I'm having the rest for breakfast - the sag aloo didn't see the light of night in the full-filling escapade and I could have fed the 5,000 with the rice remainder (OK one grain each, it was tasty). Nice showing Indian Spicers!

I've been a fan of Indian Spice Duke Street Whitehaven for some years now,after eating Indian cuisine as far away as Newzealand and everywhere else,I can highly recommend your takeaway from here.

Awesome food set meal is amazing 12 pounds tikka masala, rice, poppadoms, dips, naan bread, saag aloo, onion bhagis, rhiatta.

Ordered a delivery last night when it arrived two cans of.diet coke one portion of fried rice missing chicken curry sauce was wishy-washy like a plate of soup beef curry sauce was a bright red plate of tomato sauce most of our meals went in the bin, unpalatable

Lovely food spoiled by extortionate delivery charges. Cost £9 for delivery to Moor Row and despite taking over an hour the delivery driver claimed he had been told to charge an extra pound for owing to the extra distance! I will order again but collect it next time as I dont want to pay more for delivery than their most expensive dish.

Carry out for a treat but no menu available at home to check prices, but thought hey less than £20 : got our food and £23.25 please ; thought prices must have gone up . When checking the menu the next day and totalling it up £19:75 , Am I going to complain : No cos there is no receipt, but for all hope this is not a common occurrence , As for the meal , well devoid of chicken and minimal garlic on my nann. Previously would given this place 10 out 10 , but disappointed 😔

We ordered a curry from here today, unluckily we were given the wrong order for another house in Whitehaven with the same door number. No one really at fault, but I'd like to apologize to both you (Indian spice) and the friendly delivery driver of yours for my rudeness on the phone. The delivery was very quick, the food was delicious and we will definitely order from here again. Thank you and sorry!

We were staying in Whistling Jack's and phoned a 14-person order through to Indian Spice and drove into town to pick it up. We didn't want to leave as the banter with the staff was brilliant. There was a lad that had taken the order and he could more than hold his own. Brilliant. Order was spot on, we got some great freebies thrown-in and the food itself was superb. Every one of us were well impressed. If we are ever in the area again we will be straight down to the Indian Spice

Chicken tikka wraps are always good! Staff are quick to make them too as people order so many - queues so long on weekend evenings!

We have ordered from this place very often as its one of the best places but after ordering 4 meals the other night which cost just over £30 we were left very disappointed. Only half a tub of curry in each one. Sorry guys but no 5 star rating this time. :(

Best curry in town in my opinion. Good selection of typical curries and some Bangladeshi specialities.

I have had a few takeaways from Indian Spice. Always good service, very reasonable priced food. I have always found the service to be good, polite and friendly. Good sized portions. Delivery if required.

Best Indian in the area. Taste great. Staff are always friendly. Only gripe is hygiene not up to scratch if you watch how they prepare stuff, always gives me the squits day after too.

Fantastic takeaway. Chicken chat on Puri is really tasty. You can watch as the gentlemen prepare the food. Fresh and delicious.

really good quality food at reasonable prices, the food was ready on time and did not dissappoint- it seems to be between 10 to 15 percent cheaper than the competition yet the food quality is not lessened. I recommend the Dupiaza and Dhansak dishes
