Had an early dinner, as here on business, but felt very welcome and really enjoyed the food. So friendly, I ordered from the special menu and loved my dinner and side dishes. A treat and would come back and recommend it. Close walk to my accommodation. Ideal. Thank you Rose staff for your hospitality.

Can't fault the food but terrible customer services. Owner was very unfair. I was sick so unable to eat the food until too days later. I ordered on the 26th Aug and realised today (28th Aug) that they didn't deliver my Peshwari nan. At first the guy on the phone said "I can't verify the booking as it was via JustEat" then I told him it was on their website. He told me to wait whilst he serves another customer. Then all of a sudden "I can't verify it on our website as it was 2 days ago" even though I could easily give him the order number. All I wanted was a Peshwari nan, I didn't ask for a whole new meal. He then tried to fob me off and said next time order through Justeat and put it in the request box- I said to him if he can't verify now and it's been 2 days, why would they verify it if I next order in 3 months time. Makes no sense. Was trying to fob me off. Didn't want to be helpful and didn't want to compensate me a simple nan bread. Even though the food is nice, customer service will keep me going at my original place which I recommend for others in Plymouth called Cinnamon Garden Express who were closed and hence why I had to order from here. Also please note the amount of fat they put in their food...

Well this is nothing on Birmingham currys could not wait to leave a review over PRICED. Menu said thay serve a glass of wine but said no only bottle. Lamb starter was like extra gum. Chips on menu but give u fries. And no vinger had to go to counter to pay no one offered table service DONT USE THESE PPL also was dog in there

Food superb arrived 23min early, not impressed with delivery driver he didn't ring the doorbell and just stood there waiting we live in a big house if the doorbell is not rang, there's a high chance we will not know your there. don't let happen again

I have just called the resultant to inform them that their tandoori mixed grilled has given my partner food poisoning. There response was to laugh and say we will sort you out a discount in the future. I am disappointed in the lack of seriousness that they took in causing this can the complete lack of care or response to something so serious. Would not recommend or order from here ever again.

Another good experience... Early delivery and great food

Ordered through just eat originally, had abit of a misunderstanding on the system in regards to my order. However when contacting the store directly, the owner was very polite and apologetic and went above and beyond. He went out of his way to stay in the shop late to cook my food, adding extra freebies and offered a meal on him next time for the mix up. You could tell how much he values his customers because he didn’t have to do that. 100% recommend. Upon arrival the food was also very nice.

Literally rang the shop at 20 past 11 asked them where my food was they turnt around and said that the delivery driver is on there way still haven’t received my food absolutely shocking

Usually love this Indian, and always recommend it to friends. But the curry I just had was really tasteless. Really disappointed after spending 40 + pounds.

I ordered a takeaway one evening during half term and it was the best Indian takeaway I’ve ever had. The app told us it would be late (twice!) but the owner himself came to deliver the order and ensured it was on time and piping hot at delivery. Service was great and the food was fantastic, especially the gulab jamun!

Brilliant food and the service was amazing. Due to being low on delivery drivers, the owner himself drove our order to us and it was piping hot on delivery. There were a couple of extras thrown in as well. The food was delicious and the Gulab jamun was the best I have ever tasted!

If you haven't tried it yet...you have missed out. In all our years eating indian cuisine, this is by far the best. If there were 10 stars it still would be 11. Award winning delicacy time and time again....we keep coming back.

A solo visit on an early Monday evening so not exactly throbbing with people, however I recieved a warm welcome. The decor is smart, modern and well designed without being flashy and was well laid out and pristine. What sets this apart is a collection of 'specials' and 'signatures dishes that were a nice addition and creative enough to tempt you away from your normal order. The food was absolutely delicious and appeared to be cooked with care, I enjoyed every mouthful! I also spoke to the Boss who was a great chap who impressed me with his pride and passion in what he is doing. I really recommend a visit to all curry lovers and please try one of their specials!

Delivery time was prompt. Good was near on awful. The butter chicken curry was basically chicken in a paste with cream shoved on top. The saag paneer was bland and the worst one I've over had. Just overall disappointment even the poppadoms were stale. No one ate it and it ended up in the bin. Absolutely gutted that was our Friday treat and I'd of rather had a maccies. Massive thumbs down.

Hadn’t seen my friend in many years. She came to visit me and wanted to treat me to an Indian meal. This was local to where I live and had really good reviews, so we booked it for Thursday 4th April at 7. It turns out we needn’t have booked, as there ended up being just 6 customers in the restaurant ( ourselves and two couples). When we arrived, we were made very welcome and our order was taken very quickly. We started with poppadoms and dips- very tasty, but would have been even better with a bigger portion of the dips. I elected to go for the Mixed Starter, followed by the Lamb Tikka Balti. My friend was prompted to miss the starter and have Lamb Rogan Josh and a sweet, as they looked so good and there was plenty of choice. My starter was beautifully presented and was really enjoyable (10/10). We both agreed the mains were of a high calibre- very good indeed. The meat was tender and everything very aromatic. All good so far, although it was noticeable that a few of the staff were openly on their mobile phones and this distracted from the atmosphere. I guess they were bored because it was so quiet, but not a good look to a customer. My friend was looking forward to her sweet and ordered the Amarena - essentially ice cream, yogurt and dairy cream topped off with black cherries. It is also the dish presented on their menus. When the dish arrived, it looked nothing like the picture nor the description. There were only two cherries and these were frozen. As she was so disappointed, we raised this with the same staff member who had made us so welcome at the start. Rather than offer an alternative solution, he became quite defensive and explained the desserts were not prepared on site, but brought in - so nothing to do with them essentially! He then asked would she like to choose an alternative. Obviously she said ‘no’ as we now knew the desserts were not going to be as they were presented on the menu. It was noticeable that we were given a wide berth after that. My friend had to approach the lady on the till to pay the bill. She explained how she was reluctant to pay for the dessert as it was clearly misrepresented on the menu. The tiller nor any other staff member at the restaurant apparently had no authority to discount the dessert from the bill. In the end, she placed a phone call to someone and was bringing the phone over to my friend. My friend asked ‘to whom am I speaking’, but we heard a voice say ‘ just take it off the lady’s bill’. The tiller unfortunately didn’t know how to activate the discount but we got there in the end. I would have starred this higher, as it started out so promisingly - but ended up being not so good. I think the staff would benefit from some customer service training.

Very disappointed, onion Bhaji too salty to eat, only 5/6 bits of chicken in tikka balti which was almost £12. Asked for no coriander and this was ignored. Won’t use again

Best Indian takeaway in Plymouth

We celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and very much enjoyed the experience. Was quiet....Tuesday night... but staff and food and owners were very welcoming and we will return again. No doubt. Hopefully with family xx top marks!

unbelievable food again from the best Indian in Plymouth

My daughter had booked a table for my 50th birthday and informed the restaurant upon booking. We have previously eaten here before without issue. However, on this occasion I brought to the owners attention that I did not expect pineapple in my Dansak when there was so little chicken. He immediately got very defensive and said “you are not from around here”. Which is not the case and I felt rather attacked. I was not wishing for a new curry, I was merely pointing out a discrepancy. After this when receiving our bill the drink price was completely different to that on the menu and we were not informed of this at the time of ordering. All in all this was a very disappointing and upsetting experience on what was meant to be a milestone birthday dinner out. There was no common curtesy or empathy to the over charge either.

We had a lovely time at the restaurant. The food was so tasty and came out piping hot. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The menu as easy to understand and full of chef's specials. The bill was very reasonable, considering how much food and drink we'd had. Toilets were spotless as was the whole place. Will definitely return for another good night out.

Superb food with excellent service, sadly let down by the UV black lighting which colours all the food orange. When we eat with our eyes, colour is important. UV black lighting is so 90s and totally unnecessary for this stylish, quality restaurant whose only fault is the bad lighting. Looking at the photos, this is the colour scheme which is not relaxing to eye or for atmosphere.

Visited this restaurant last night for the first time. It has been decorated beautifully and has lovely low level lighting. The staff are all so friendly and happy. The food was really tasty and could not fault at all. Great little touches like free Baileys from the boss and after eight mints when you pay. Only two small issues easily addressed are when we booked had an email to say reservation pending and would receive another email with confirmation - this never arrived. Also linen napkins instead of the flimsy paper ones. I always think you can tell a quality restaurant when linen napkins are provided for dinner. We will definitely return though.

Arrived at 7, table had been previously booked by phone as I had a problem trying to book on line. The staff could not find the reservation, however they were really good and set up a table in no time. Food very good, service very good. Staff very friendly, My only negative comment would be that the radio was too loud, making it difficult to have a conversation. Definitely recommend this restaurant, and will visit again.

Welcomed and seated very swiftly in a cheerful buzzy restaurant, We ordered poppadoms with pickle tray. Slightly disappointed that there was no lime pickle, my favourite. Flavours slightly bland compared to our experience at other Indian restaurants. Two main meals were both very tasty. Delicious in fact! And with a portion of garlic rice each we felt satiated and certainly didn’t need a dessert. All in all, a good tasty meal at reasonable price and with parking almost outside in a Sunday evening too. Staff all very friendly and courteous.

Had a mistake with the order and felt bad having to call up but all got sorted in the end and they sorted it out for me :)

Ordered a delivery where Justeat stated a delay in the kitchen twice and extended delivery time. Earlier than expected the owner of the restaurant rings my gate and hands me my food way earlier than expected. This is service is exceptional! We need to support this restaurant. Food is great and service 2nd to none. Try this place it’s great. Eaten there and had this latest delivery! Note to the owner… Thank you! We will be booking again soon in the restaurant.

One of the best curry houses I've ever been too!

Do not use the booking system for this restaurant I booked a time slot on their booking page and had the booking accepted, three hours later received a text cancelling the booking! I approached the restaurant staff and was told they have no control over the booking system they also charge a booking fee! What sort of business accepts your booking to cancel three hours later will never use this restaurant.

This is the best Indian restaurant ever!!!!!! Your waiters are patient and kind and cool well done !
