Delicious😋It has the atmosphere and flavor of a Hong Kong tea house. Booking a table on the website is fast and convenient, and the response is quick. The restaurant is clean and tidy. The charges are reasonable.

Incredibly disappointed in this place. The place was chaos, loud, cold and with staff running around like headless chickens. The staff seemed more interested in resetting tables than interacting with customers. The ordering system is hard to work, one menu for a table of 7 with a card you fill in yourself. Even the waitress had to ask what we wanted after we completed it. The food isn't good. The rice was sticky and in big lumps. The duck was still attached to a layer of bone so you had to try and peel it with your teeth and fingers, the noodles were burned crispy on one side. It's expensive too. Would not recommend a visit to this place. Which is a shame because we had been there a few years before and had a good experience.

Ordered a carry out for pick up on Mother’s Day evening. Extremely annoyed and disappointed. The food was inedible. Barbecue ribs were so dry there was no meat on them. The sharing platter was also way overcooked and dry and was only fit for the bin. The food had clearly been sitting on the pass for some time. We were on time for the pick up and in fact had to wait. This was absolutely not a problem had the food been fresh. The mains were also cold, bland, greasy and totally underwhelming. I have eaten in this restaurant many times with no complaints but this experience has put me off ever ordering food there again. The total cost was nearly £60. Literally money down the drain. I would not recommend and will definitely not be back.

I love this restaurant, one of my favourite Chinese places in Edinburgh! Love the glutinous rice with meat, the pork and radish dimsum, the Cheung fun with bean curd, the char siu in puff pastry.. and I haven't even tried half the things on their menu yet! The servers are efficient and to the point, the restaurant is spacious, brightly lit and bustling. Will go back soon. Went back for the 5th or 6th time and discovered another favourite dish - pork ribs in black bean sauce - juicy, succulent, complex flavours, amazing. This place never fails to deliver!

Went for my birthday on recommendation of my partner who lives nearby and uses take away often. Although the food was good the prices were extortionate! £18/19 for a main course without rice. I also felt that the staff couldn't have cared less about our business. When we arrived we were left standing at the desk for about 5 minutes with no-one acknowledging us. Once we were seated I felt the staff were rushing to take any orders - probably because there were not enough of them - there were no pleasantries or indeed any interaction apart from taking the orders. We were also disappointed to find out that the dim sum menu finished at 5pm which seems odd because that's what it is famous for. If the take away menu has been increased like the sit in one we won't be using it again.

This place was a great favourite of ours and we always used to look forward to a meal here. It was reassuring to see so many chinese people eating here so its obviously popular with the chinese community. However, this time the price for lunch had gone from is usual £30--£40ish to well over £70. This was hard to believe. Price per dish had rocketed and we were surprised and disappointed to find that even after paying eg £19 for lemon chicken, the rice (for one) was an additional £7. It wasn't as if the food was any better. In fact one dish was such a gluey mess and had such a nasty flavour and texture that we couldnt eat it. These prices are unfathomable to us and can only assume that its a special menu with special prices that will certainly drive away non Chinese customers. They've lost us anyway.

Do come early cause their dim sum is sooo good!! And they are filling up very fast. They opened at 12pm, I came a little after 12pm and the tables were more than half filled up. Taste authentic, tasty, all that you expect from a decent dim sum restaurant. Cheong fan with prawn so juicy and soft, the flavour was just well-balanced. Do try their fried dim sum as well cause it was fried into perfection, crunchy from the outside and still juicy flavourful from the inside. I experimented of ordering chicken feet with wine sc but it didn’t really suit my liking, save yourself for the regular chicken feet next time. The staffs were lovely and helpful, but During peak hours it was a bit hard to order more things. It was a good meal

The restaurant itself is like a canteen so bright not even any background music absolutely no atmosphere at all . Carpets filthy need replaced chairs have horrible covers on them don’t know why . We have been eating Chinese food for over 50 years and never had anything like it before. Traveled from other side of town a complete waste of time and money. Visited last night on a recommendation from 2 people who have previously eaten here was expecting big things. This was probably the worst Chinese meal I have had same for the 3 other guests who were with me .Started with peking ribs hardly any meat on them and tough wife had chicken wings no taste whatsoever brother in law had spring rolls gave them a pass mark just .Onto main meal duck sechaun style found about 4 pieces of duck the rest was all just veg duck was very tough wife had a special curry left more than she eat beef in curry was so tough to eat other lady in the company had special curry also chicken still had the skin on it disgusting. The only decent thing any of us had to eat was the chips and prawn crackers .To top it all off gets the bill for £180 odd pound with a £17.00 service charge on it that was very quickly taken off the bill when I pointed out I would not be paying it .Very very dissapointed in last night's food if I could give it zero out of 10 I would

Every dish was a culinary masterpiece, reaching heights that make the Great Wall jealous. Duck spring rolls were excellent but the chow main was terrible, oyster sauce all over it. The chicken and black bean sauce was saturated in onions and was average. Booked in here based on Tripadvisor and when walking in, thought we had been transported to Beijing. About 90% of the hundred or so diners were Oriental. A great sign that authentic food was on offer. Based on others feed back on portion size, the 5 adults and child, had a half crispy duck (accompanied by a superb sauce) a d 3 mains with a couple of starters between us. The food was more than ample, tasted wonderful and bearing in mind feedback on pricing, our bill (which included drinks) came to under £130 - not too bad in my opinion given the quality the food. Would certainly go back!

Definitely a very welcoming and authentic place. You walk in and feel like you’re in the dining room of a wedding. To start, the waiter (can’t remember his name but he was Malaysian) had a great personality and was very friendly, as were the other waiters. To start, I tried the shrimp dim sum which was the first time I try dim sum, and they were perfect. Paired with their secret chili sauce (which they wouldn’t sell me), it was a magnificent combination. For the main course, I had the duck and pancakes. Now let me tell you, this is not the portion of half a duck you would get elsewhere, this is a portion which will definitely fill you up, filled with every piece of the duck including delicious crispy skin. So far I couldn’t find any fault. The only fault was, that I don’t go there everyday. Overall I would definitely recommend everyone to try this place for authentic Chinese food.
