The restaurant phoned to tell me that one of my items was not actually available. They recommended a substitute - cucumber juice - which was delicious and refreshing. Next time I might top it up with a squeeze of lime and some Wray! The food was hot, and the service was done with a smile.

I have to big up this restaurant, the food was 1000% on point and I couldn't find a single thing to complain about even if I tried. They also followed my note request which I am very grateful for, and the driver is very very polite. My 9 year old has given me strict orders to only order west indian food from here and both our tummies are very happy right now. Thank you very much to all members of staff at this restaurant including the delivery driver❤❤❤

Was Extremely upset with my saltfish and callaloo meal this time as it had so many bones in it. I dnt mind the occasional bone here and there but I had to pick out so many bones I couldn’t enjoy my food properly.

Just eat did not put my discount through and as a result I will no longer order through them

First time ordering and we look forward to trying more dishes! Huge portion size, Food tasted yummy, dumpling/festival is amazing!!!! Without doubt the best dumpling I’ve ever ordered 🤤 !! beef was nice and tender although would of liked a bit more sauce/stew. I don’t think it’s cooked with scotch bonnet? Would be good to add!(without making too spicy) But hats off to the chef cos I can taste the love! Also liked that our food was well protected from the coldness and the driver was super kind. Not enough gravey with the curry goat, that what makes it 'curry goat's and as I got a large the rice and meat should be in separate containers.

Once again food from this restaurant is outstanding and always delivered hot. My favourite item is the vegetable soup, which is always full of flavour and a good vegetable to liquid ratio, I would happily have it delivered every day. The food itself was delicious, but because it’s heated up so much it made it very dry & hard to swallow. A lot more gravy needs to be added.

Just received the order. Not happy with it at all. The curry goat and rice and peas seem old. Dry lumps of meat with no sauce and it doesn't even taste like goat. Rice and peas also very dark and stale, does not seem fresh at all. Mac and cheese was the only passable thing. Will not order again.

Great food as always, except I was given rice and peas instead of plain rice and no plantain! (So lost a star for that) Hopefully an oversight on this occasion, as I’ve not had that happen before from here.

I love the food from imperial flavours, the only thing which I'm not happy with as a dedicated customer- it's actually never clear when they are open for delivery. It states online that they /you are open from 3pm but that obviously doesn't mean you are delivery food at that time. Please confirm what time you are open on Just Eat so it is clear for your customers. Thank you. At the moment it seems to be a hit and miss when you're open.

I am so impressed with the food!!! Everything is always so tasty!! Almost boneless Curry Goat is a win so fantastic. The only thing I will say is the plantain and hard food portion is far too small for my liking. Overall….it’s highly recommended

Reason for low star rating it’s just because the rice and peas was completely covered in sauce and it just over powered the flavour.. that’s the only down fall otherwise great

Great service as usual. There was a slight problem when the driver tried buzzing in the building. My mobile battery died when he tried calling but the driver was still determined to get our food to us and hung around for a while. We got our food, thank you!!

Was really hoping for nice food as most of the Caribbean places have been disappointing. The food was lovely, good portions, seasoned well, could have done with more pepper but fine we added our own. Macaroni was lovely and oxtail had meat, not just full of bones and grisel which has been the case at other places. This is now our go to Caribbean!!!!!!!!!!

Food was great! We had the curry goat and curry chicken, both were excellent tasting and very generous portions. Mac and cheese was delicious, the best we've had from a Caribbean takeaway in Hackney. Delivery was slightly late but I was notified of it so it was OK. If I had to make one criticism it would just be to add a bit more sauce on the curry chicken but that's just because I really liked it!

I have tried many different Caribbean restaurants on just eat, they were ok but nothing special. Ever the portions were too small or the curry goat was too salty or the chicken was too dry. Last night I ordered curry goat, rice and peas, stew oxtail and rice and coleslaw. for one, the portions were huge and two, the food tasted just perfect. This is definitely my go-to restaurant from now on thank you for the great meal. 👍🏻😋 Oh yeah, and because my food was a bit late, the restaurant actually called me a bit later to check that it had arrived. Great customer service

For a restaurant with at least 4 stars to their name, you'd expect the food to be somewhat decent but that is not even close to what I got. (Self/Paid reviews eh?) Firstly, aesthetically, the food did not look appealing to eat whatsoever and we had trouble recognising whether we were sent the right order. The chicken was over seasoned with salt and overcooked to the point it was dry and powdery. The rice and beans weren't as bad (though nothing special) but you don't order from a Caribbean restaurant for their rice and beans alone do you? You guys need to pause, take a seat and revaluate the service you provide your customers because what you are doing right now is the equivalent to theft that of which has no place in our society. Lastly, I hope anyone that comes across this review is smart enough to realise that this is a genuine review and one that needs to be mentioned.

Early delivery was a bonus. Food was lovely as usual. The stew beef isn’t chewy, full of flavour and portions are always plentiful. The Guinness punch was delicious! Will always order from Imperial, best takeaway in Homerton.

The food was AMAZING! I ordered a large curry goat and I actually got a large amount. It was enough for two meals! I couldn’t even finish. Everything was delicious and it was packaged so that nothing spilled!

Second time (or third!) we've ordered from here. Food is lovely as always (and thanks for the free Ting!) but I have to say: the ginger beer is DELICIOUS! And it goes well with a good gin (an experiment). Superb. Will order again.
