There was a small error on the order which was dealt with promptly. It’s when things go wrong that you can tell a good business. Thankyou food was nice and hot and tasty.

So the food here is great, the value for money of the family meal and the deals they offer are brilliant. Its just really disappointing that every time weve ordered the delivery has been late, but unfotunately today topped it all at taking 1hr 55mins

Food was not great quality and flavourless. Wings no flavour and heavily breaded.

The grub is always bang on .. love the salt n chilli chips and Singapore rice ..it’s always hot and full of flavour .. the only small downside is it takes a long time to arrive but I am happy to wait when it’s that good

I love chinese takeaway and do know a good from a bad. I pre ordered today and asked for it to be extra hot, I meant temperature wise but of of course they thought I meant spice wisele so they did do exactly what they thought I Meant but we are not good with spice. My fault entirely and I will only order chinese from here. Always hot fresh and very tasty

Just had the best wonton soup (its only downside was that it was too small I wish I had more); spare ribs are great. So delicious

Left restaurant after the delivery window.

Said delivered when it hadn’t been, had to contact the restaurant a handful of times to work out where the food was. Once found it was left outside the unit block, and some food was cold and the packaging was soaking wet. Very unimpressed by this.

The driver nearly went to the wrong house. Better attention to door numbers is needed by drivers

order was marked as delivered after 1 hour had to phone up to query that the order hadn't been delivered to be told it was still being cooked and hadn't been delivered would be leaving in 5 minutes arrived 45 minutes later. At point of order quoted 40 -50 mins for delivery. it took 2 hours for it to be delivered. when food arrived it was warm not hot. bit of a disaster all round. Was 14th February and understand it could be busy but quote realistic delivery times.

Cold food, ordered salt and pepper box, cold chips-dry chicken-dry pork. Shredded chilli beef was overly sweet and not at all chilli nor spicy. Beansprout noodles were ridiculously oily.

The food was 2 hours late. I phoned the restaurant multiple times. He wasn’t even sure where the order was. When it finally came it was freezing and half missing

Our order was late but we put it down to being Valentine’s Day, but it was worth the wait. The food was delicious, hot and tasted extremely fresh. Well worth the wait 😁

Food was delivered late, was told 3 different times ‘will be there in 2 minutes’ each time clearly didn’t actually know where driver was! Then order was wrong as didn’t get the large dish ordered ( got standard size) and to top it all was stone cold!!!

Normally amazing food and delivery. Not today. App was updated by restaurant to food having been delivered when it hadn’t left the restaurant, can only assume to make it look like delivery times are met. Food was sooo salty today, not sure I’d order again 😢

Package was terrible with food spilling everywhere again it’s happened twice in a row I ordered the second time because of the discounted prices ! Do not order from here

Sorry, but for the second time recently an item was missing from my order. I didn’t even bother to call the restaurant because if you’d sent it out, the main meal would’ve been cold. Unfortunately it may now be time to look elsewhere for a takeaway which is a great shame because I’ve not had problems until my last two orders. Such a shame.

Little bit pricey but it’s 10/10.

Rice missing from the order and almost everything sent was cold. Very disappointing as I’ve never had a problem with Oriental Chef before. After ringing the restaurant the rice was sent but only after the rest of the COLD food had been quickly eaten.

The munch box was very small not much in there, when normally it is a lot more filled up than that.

even tho delivery was little bit late it was definitely worth the wait!

Chicken chow mein was awful thin vermicelli instead of the usual kind, chilli beef was all clumped together and wasn’t crispy at all and not spicy, ribs were tough , in all the worst Chinese I’ve had I won’t be ordering again

Missing chicken balls and sent the wrong curry and no refund joke.

Food was very late and then only half arrived, I called the restaurant, they did not speak good English and couldn’t understand what I was saying! I tried to explain for a good 10 minutes what was missing from my order and repeated my postcode 6 times! 45 minutes later they turn up with the rest of my order and was still missing 2 items! The food we did get was not great either! Very disappointing!!! Will not order from here again!

Delivery was late and all of the food was cold. Completely unacceptable.

10/10 food, however it’s pointless getting a stamp card as they don’t let you use it with the 40% off and the 40% off is all week so I can’t order anymore as I can’t order without using my stamp card credit… crazy to me as they are missing out on more business from me.. I’ve tried to order about 6 times in past 10 days but they don’t accept my orders because of the stamp card mixing with 40% off and I can’t do anything about that.. its a shame because it was becoming my main Chinese take away :(

Unable to call restaurant as the phone keeps ringing or rings two or three times and cuts off. Order never arrived.

I've ordered from here many times as it WAS always lovely with great portion sizes. My last 3 orders have been very late and the portions have gone down and quality has declined. I personally believe it's changed hands or they've got new chef's and they're not anywhere near as good. they fobbed me iff with "the app says enjoy your food when it hasn't been delivered" but that never happens with other just eat restaurants... 1/10 don't if I'll use them again.

Appalling! store sold me gone off rice and when I called apologised and said they would call back in 10 mins. No call no refund. Very disappointed as the rest of the food was great. Just imagine eating your food and when you get to the rice it tastes so sour you have to spit it out. I'm not happy at all. If you want to keep customers stick to your word and give them fresh food at least!

My order arrived late and was not cooked properly and of very poor quality. I phoned the restaurant straight away and they agreed to arrange for a credit . I hope they have been in touch with you to arrange for my refund.

Tried about 5 different Chinese restaurants recently and struggled to find a decent one thats good value for money. This place is 100% the best I’ve had in the area and I’ve stuck with it a few times now, defo recommend

Amazing food, fast delivery and large portions.

We had a family gathering of 6 people and ordered almost everything on the menu. Everything was amazing. Kids loved the noodles and the dishes were delicious. 10/10

Says my order was delivered and has NOT been delivered despite it being later by 15 mins that would have been their latest arrival time. Cannot get through to a human to sort it either.

All was great until pancake rolls which did not taste or smell right at all. Smelled off so requested refund. Chowmein and ribs were lovely though

Overall was okay but I’ve had better but the chicken satay was hard and not nice

Wanted to cancel the order as was taking too long but the lady said it was cooking. Will not be ordering again as the food was not worth the wait. Bbq sauce was red but with no taste. Munchie box was soaking wet as they put it in a carrier bag making it all soggy.

Probably the worst Chinese we’ve had in a longtime it tasted reheated and off. Such a shame as it’s our go to

I ordered my meal for my family at 18:20 and had an estimated delivery time for between 19:05 to 19:25 it turned up at 20:25. The only response I got from the restaurant was it’s coming will be a few minutes. Not good service.

Best Chinese! I’ve been off of Chinese for years due to not finding one that’s nice, imperial chef changed that it was delicious and the staff are lovely and so helpful

Food was late and cold. When my daughter paid he walked off with £5 change without me stating it was a tip. Half the items were missing. I called the restaurant they said they would send the rest of the food. It never came and they stopped answering.

Great food, order here almost every weekend. Never disappoints, the whole family is happy with their dishes. The price is also great given the quality and portion sizes. Definitely recommended!

Love the grub from here .. decent discount. Always hot .. very tasty nice portion sizes .only small problems is takes a while to deliver but guessing it’s due to being busy and the sauce pots are small but not like it would stop me ordering .. would deffo recommend

Quite a long delivery time as is... the delivery time was over an hour and then they were late for even that. To top ot off, they showed no remorse over the long wait time and cut me off the phone when I called to check. Waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for this order.

Close to an hour late completely Cole when arriving

Restaurant clicked it round to delivered at 8pm, but didn't deliver till 8.20pm. Had to make 2 phone calls, and then they forgot the Prawn Crackers. A lot of the food was bland, but the chicken was too salty, peking duck was cremated and inedible.

I don't think this place deserves the negative reviews. Food was on time, hot and delicious. Would definitely order again.

Food is always fresh, delicious and comes hot- with very quick collection and delivery! Never been disappointed here, and the customer service is impeccable! The best in Romford

Hate to see the bad reviews, i have ordered a few times from here. Food has been piping hot, comes on time. Sometimes a few minutes late, and the quantity/quality you get for a bargain 40% can be beaten. I recommend giving it a try.

to be fair to food come hot and wasn't to bad yes the portions looked a bit small for example rice tin wasn't full up but food tasted good delivery come early

First time trying and it was lovely and all hot and fresh, the only thing I will know for next time is to order extra sauce as the sweet and sour that came with the chicken balls only comes in a small pot.

Still not arrived. Wont answer phone. Im guessed I'll have to make alternative arrangements. It would be easiest if they just said they cant fulfill the order. Food not received so im giving minimum star

Very disappointed with the overall meal, the chow mein lacked flavour, salt and pepper chips just tasted like ordinary chips with no seasoning on and the rice was also rather bland. Chicken balls was very dry, overall very disappointing and have had much nicer meals elsewhere.
