The mixed starter contained meat that was tough as anything. I've ordered from these guys before, and their sheek kebab melted in my mouth. This time, it was hard to chew. The chicken pieces were the same. The main was ok, but nothing on before.

Best Indian takeaway in Southend!

This is definitely the best Indian food I’ve had. ordered from here twice and each time the food tastes amazing, lovely intense flavours in each meal. Will 100% order again and recommend to friends , hats off to the chef. I’m very full and very happy :)

Best Indian takeaway I've had by quite a margin. Favourites so far have been the Dupiaza and chicken Makhani 🤤🤤🤤 if you like a tikka masala but wanna find something more authentic and even better then go for these trust me.

Ordered 4 times had 3 issues before now again tonight the 4th time apparently the driver called me but no call called the firm and they were trying to call the driver and said was gonna call back I phoned back 5 mins later and they couldn't get hold of the driver so cancelled order. Poor service

The mix grill had a single horrid prawn. A few pieces of tough lamb and chicken/ leg. Incredibly stingy and low quality

It was "OK". First time ordering from them, was a little late and luke warm. Not the greatest for £50 for two.

Have ordered here a couple of times. Firstly the customer service is outstanding, lovely and chatty very helpful. My husband has a garlic intolerance and the lovely lady made sure nothing I ordered had garlic in. My self and my husband loved our meal very delicious. We will definitely be back.

The food here never dissapoints...delicious and the only place i will go for indian food locally now. Naz the owner and all of the staff are really friendly and appreciate your business. I highly recommend

Had the potential to be great. Food was late and arrived cold. Had to be reheated. Shame as it tasted nice, but chicken was dry after a blast in the microwave.

Ordered quite a few times now and tried a variety of dishes. All been great and very tasty. I'm originally from close to Birmingham's Balti mile which is curry heaven. Imi's dishes are value and very tasty. I'd go as far as saying the best in Southend. Don't be scared to try something different. So far all the dishes have been lush! Delivery is good and quick. *****. Five stars.

Wow, finally a place in southend that does proper Indian food, being the eldest son of a award winning Indian chef (my father) now retired for 10 years I’ve always had a grave to find a place that cooks like my fathers style the proper traditional way, after almost trying all the Indian takeaway/restaurants in southend and surrounding areas i must say this place has done it. Absolutely flavoured the food was made the exact way i asked me being very fussy with food. If you want to try a proper Indian folks in a night in and know for sure it will be spot on this is the place IMI’s spice kitchen . I ordered 10 minutes to closing time because i couldn't decide the whole evening where to order from, the management was great, service was wicked.

Just had our first take out from Imi’s and it was so good, I had to call them and tell them ! The flavours were punchy, my husband and son said the chicken was delicious. Everything about each dish was impressive, this kitchen REALLY know how to cook and give a taste sensation. Thank you so much, absolutely incredible food.

Ordered this with the family, my mums partner Craig recommended this while I’m back from university for the Christmas break and I would honestly say this was one of the best Indian takeaways I’ve had, great flavour, arrived on time and great service overall.

Last Saturday I ordered a meal for 6 adults, for two special birthdays. I can honestly say it was the best Indian food I have ever had, everythink was absolutely perfectly cooked and extremely tasty. This has to be the best Indian in town…we have tried quite a few!! Always fresh hot food, I always ask for chilli and garlic to be added to the keema naan and they always read the comments and we get what we asked for! We have tried quite a few different curries and we haven’t been disappointed, as they are always full of flavour. Would highly recommend, portion sizes are always good too! Food always arrives on time or early…it’s never late! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

First time ordering and I think I’ve found a new regular. Everything was perfect. Just a comment on portion size to say they were big/ good size. I see a previous review saying the portions were small and almost put me off ordering. So just incase anyone else is thinking the same just to reassure they are good size portions.
